Objective:To explore the effect of nursing scheme based on self-regulation theory (SRT) on self-efficacy and quality of life of patients with chronic pancreatitis, and to provide basis for better promoting patients′ rehabilitation.Methods:Using a non-random historical control study, 55 patients with chronic pancreatitis admitted to The Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University from November 2021 to October 2022 were classified as the control group, and 55 patients with chronic pancreatitis admitted from November 2022 to October 2023 were classified as the research group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the research group received SRT-based nursing intervention. Both groups received a 3-month intervention. The General Self-Efficacy Scale, Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale, Self Rated Abilities for Health Practices Scale, and Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index were used to evaluate the self-efficacy, self-care ability, health behavior, and quality of life of two groups before and after the intervention, and statistical comparisons were made.Results:Both groups of patients completed the study. There were 28 males and 27 females in the control group. The age was (45.33 ± 12.26) years old. There were 30 males and 25 females in the research group. The age was (45.48 ± 12.61) years old. After the intervention, the score of the self-efficacy in the research group was (29.32 ± 2.88) points, which was higher than that in the control group (19.28 ± 1.95) points, the difference was significant ( t=21.41, P<0.05). The scores of self-care skills, self-responsibility, self-concept, health knowledge and the total score of the self-care ability in the research group were (35.32 ± 2.31), (22.85 ± 1.42), (25.88 ± 1.93), (64.32 ± 5.22), (148.34 ± 8.33) points respectively. They were all higher than those of the control group (28.66 ± 1.77), (17.22 ± 1.23), (18.67 ± 1.86), (60.08 ± 4.52), (124.56 ± 8.92) points. The differences were significant ( t values were 4.55-22.23, all P<0.05). The scores of exercise, nutrition, health responsibility, psychological comfort and the total score of the health behavior in the research group were (25.58 ± 1.41), (25.02 ± 2.03), (24.31 ± 2.34), (25.16 ± 1.63), (100.05 ± 7.36) points respectively. They were all higher than those of the control group (22.31 ± 2.03), (20.15 ± 2.82), (20.16 ± 2.89), (21.15 ± 2.17), (83.79 ± 7.84) points. The differences were significant ( t values were 8.28-11.21, all P<0.05). The scores of social activity, psychological state, physiological function, self-conscious symptoms and the total score of the quality of life in the research group were (16.78 ± 1.26), (17.03 ± 1.85), (22.43 ± 1.96), (17.09 ± 0.88), (73.41 ± 4.22) points respectively. They were all higher than those of the control group (15.32 ± 1.15), (15.34 ± 1.76), (20.86 ± 1.59), (16.03 ± 0.75), (67.52 ± 4.18) points. The differences were significant ( t values were 4.61-7.35, all P<0.05). Conclusions:SRT-based nursing scheme can effectively improve the self-efficacy and self-care ability of patients with chronic pancreatitis, and improve their health behavior and quality of life.

They were all higher than those of the control group (22.31 ± 2.03), (20.15 ± 2.82), (20.16 ± 2.89), (21.15 ± 2.17), (83.79 ± 7.84) points. The differences were significant ( t values were 8.28-11.21, all P<0.05). The scores of social activity, psychological state, physiological function, self-conscious symptoms and the total score of the quality of life in the research group were (16.78 ± 1.26), (17.03 ± 1.85), (22.43 ± 1.96), (17.09 ± 0.88), (73.41 ± 4.22) points respectively. They were all higher than those of the control group (15.32 ± 1.15), (15.34 ± 1.76), (20.86 ± 1.59), (16.03 ± 0.75), (67.52 ± 4.18) points. The differences were significant ( t values were 4.61-7.35, all P<0.05). Conclusions:SRT-based nursing scheme can effectively improve the self-efficacy and self-care ability of patients with chronic pancreatitis, and improve their health behavior and quality of life.

Objective:To assess the effectiveness of a 6-month Ba Duan Jin exercise program in improving the balance of community-dwelling older adults.Methods:A two arms, parallel-group, cluster randomized controlled trial was conducted in 1 028 community residents aged 60-80 years in 40 communities in 5 provinces of China. Participants in the intervention group (20 communities, 523 people) received Ba Duan Jin exercise 5 days/week, 1 hour/day for 6 months, and three times of falls prevention health education, and the control group (20 communities, 505 people) received falls prevention health education same as the intervention group. The Berg balance scale (BBS) score was the leading outcome indicator, and the secondary outcome indicators included the length of time of standing on one foot (with eyes open and closed), standing in a tandem stance (with eyes open and closed), the closed circle test, and the timed up to test.Results:A total of 1 028 participants were included in the final analysis, including 731 women (71.11%) and 297 men (28.89%), and the age was (69.87±5.67) years. After the 3-month intervention, compared with the baseline data, the BBS score of the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group by 3.05 (95% CI: 2.23-3.88) points ( P<0.001). After the 6-month intervention, compared with the baseline data, the BBS score of the intervention group was significantly higher than the control group by 4.70 (95% CI: 4.03-5.37) points ( P<0.001). Ba Duan Jin showed significant improvement ( P<0.05) in all secondary outcomes after 6 months of exercise in the intervention group compared with the control group. Conclusions:This study showed that Ba Duan Jin exercise can improve balance in community-dwelling older adults aged 60-80. The longer the exercise time, the better the improvement.

Objective To acknowledge the quality of life (QOL) in patients after lung transplantation and to explore related factors. Methods A cross- sectional study design and a convenience sampling were performed in this research. Totally 30 patients after lung transplantation were investigated. The questionnaires which used to explore the quality of life were Short Form 36 Health Survey Questionnaires (SF-36) and Revised Airways Questionnaires 20 (AQ20-R). Related state were surveyed by questionnaires consisted of demographic questionnaires, Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Medical Coping Mode Questionnaires (MCMQ). Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 20.0 software. Correlation analysis and multivariate analysis were performed using Pearson linear correlation analysis and multi-linear regression. Results The scores among the 8 dimensions of SF-36 were(34.48±16.73)-( 71.63±22.83), lower than those of norms(Z=-9.684--2.817, P<0.05 or 0.01). Somatic pain scored the highest (71.63±22.83), while physiological function scored the lowest (34.48±16.73). The mean score of AQ20-R was 7.93±5.21. The major two problems that manifested QOL were: uncomfortable feeling of lung caused by strong scent, smog or perfume, exhausted feeling after having a cold. The mean scores of SAS and SDS were 44.33±9.33,48.05±9.80, higher than those of norms, which were 33.80 ± 5.90, 41.88 ± 10.57 (t=6.1833, 3.4458, P < 0.01). The scores among the 3 dimensions of MCMQ were 8.93 ± 2.08, 16.10 ± 2.28, 3.63 ± 1.33 and the differences were significant in 3 dimensions compared with those norms, which were 19.48±3.81, 14.44±2.97, 8.81±3.17(t=-27.7281, 3.9885,-21.3878, P<0.01). Conclusions In SF-36, role-physical of patients after lung transplantation was the worst dimension, while bodily pain was the best dimension of QOL. The QOL of patients after lung transplantation were almost worse than normal people. The related factors of QOL in patients after lung transplantation maybe:anxiety, depression and medical coping style.

Objective To explore the effect of motivational nursing intervention on anxiety, depression and quality of life in patients who had undergone thyroid cancer surgery.Methods A total of 78 patients who had undergone thyroid cancer surgery in general surgery department of the First People′s Hospital of Guangyuan were recruited for our study. These patients were randomly selected for control group or observation group, with 39 cases in each group. Patients in control group received routine nursing, whereas those in observation group were treated with motivational nursing together with routine nursing.Results After nursing, the anxiety score in the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.01). The depression scores in observation group was lower than control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Scores of factors related to the function of QLQ-C30 in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01). The satisfaction to nursing in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions Motivational nursing can significantly alleviate patients′ anxiety and depression in those who had undergone thyroid cancer surgery, as well as improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction.

Objective To analyze solitary fibrous tumor (solitary fibrous tumor, SFT) ’s clinical manifestations, patholog-ical features, immunohistochemical phenotype, and follow-up, discuss the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and progno-sis. Methods Ten cases of SFT were analyzed by clinical data and follow-pathological characteristics study and im-munohistochemical staining of Vimentin, CD34, Bcl-2, CD99, SMA and β-catenin. Results There were 6 males and 4 females with ranging in age from 31 to 78 years (mean 53.2 years old). SFT in four cases originated from the visceral pleura, two cases from parietal pleura,one from the skin of the chest wall, one from the neck, one from the medi-astinum, one from subcutaneously. Microscopic examination of tumor tissue was mainly composed of spindle cells, dif-ferent levels of visible cells and cell-rich areas of sparse areas, tumor cells were short spindle or oval, mitotic due to the severity varies. During the visible rich collagen fibers, may be associated with hyaline degeneration or myxoid change. Immunohistochemistry revealed the tumor cells expessed Vimentin, CD34, Bcl-2, CD99 and β-catenin, SMA focal or weakly positive. Conclusion SFT may occur in various sites of the body. The clinicopathological features and immunohistochemical profile are helpful to identify SFT. Its biological behavior is consistent with its histological mor-phology and growth the way. If tumor could be removed completely, the patients may have a good prognosis;some have low-grade malignant or malignant behaviour, manifesting as local recurrence or metastasis. Patients need long-term follow-up.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the distribution of HBV genotypes in Changzhou area and to clarify the genotype-related difference in the liver function, the level of HBV DNA and the long-term effect of lamivudine in the pathogenicity of HBV.

METHODSNested PCR and sequence analysis were conducted in 14 acute hepatitis (AH), 104 chronic hepatitis (CH), and 28 liver cirrhosis or hepatocellular carcinoma (LC/HCC) patients.

RESULTSOne hundred and forty six samples were positive for HBV DNA, and 51 samples were classified as genotype B (34.9%), 95 samples were classified as genotype C, serum ALT value was 383.8 +/- 335.7 IU in patients with HBV genotypes B, and 364.3 +/- 333.7 IU in genotypes C, HBV DNA value was 10(7.795 +/- 1.22) copies/ml in genotypes B and 10(7.69 +/0- 1.19) copies/ml in genotypes C, and there were 36 and 64 HBeAg positive cases in patients with genotypes B and C; there were no significant difference on the level of ALT, HBV DNA and the expression of HBeAg (P>0.05), but genotype C in LC/HCC was higher than CH (P<0.01). Twenty three genotype B and forty five genotype C patients received lamivudine treatment, after 48 weeks, 18 genotype B and 14 genotype C patients had higher ALT or HBV DNA positive.

CONCLUSIONSThese results indicate that genotype B and C existing Changzhou area; genotype C is associated with the development of severe liver disease and better therapeutic effect could be obtained in the patients with genotype C.
