Current formulation of objective performance criteria (OPC) in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) faces methodological challenges, including poor reporting quality, insufficient standardization of methods, limited comparability of study populations, and inadequate consideration of the genetic and environment particularities of ethnic minority populations. In response to these issues, this paper proposes optimization strategies for setting OPC in TCM, with particular attention to ethnic minority medicine. These include improving methodological techniques and statistical descriptions, ensuring transparency in meta-analyses and data sources; standardizing the estimation of point estimates and confidence intervals, and incorporating multidisciplinary expert consensus for value determination; introducing local real-world data from the same period, especially cohort study evidence, to compensate for the lack of high-quality randomized controlled trial data. Through process transparency and dynamic updating mechanisms, the credibility of OPC method can be enhanced, thereby providing methodological support for strengthening evidence-based research capacity in this field.

The advent of bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitors (BTKi) has offered more therapeutic choices for patients with B-cell malignancies. However, with its widespread application in recent years, the use of BTKi increases the risk of severe infections in patients. Here, we report three cases of B-cell malignancies, including one case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and two cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. During treatment with BTKi zanubrutinib, different degrees of invasive fungal disease (IFD) of the central nervous system occurred in these patients. All patients fully recovered following antifungal therapy. With a median follow-up of 35 months, all patients remained in a continuous remission state, and none of them had a recurrence of IFD.

Objective:This study aims to simplify the Brief Patient Experience with Treatment and Self-Management (Brief PETS) by creating a Chinese version of the Brief PETS and evaluating its reliability and validity in a population of individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods:Following Mapi guidelines, the simplified Chinese version of the PETS scale was translated and culturally adapted. Simplified Chinese version of PETS and the Chinese version of the Treatment Burden Questionnaire (TBQ) were administered to T2DM patients recruited from community health centers in four regions of China between June and August 2022 by cluster sampling. Validity was assessed using content, construct, criterion-related, and discriminant validity, while reliability was evaluated using internal consistency and split-half reliability. Results:The Chinese short version of the PETS consists of 11 dimensions and 32 items, namely, medical information, medication, medical appointments, health management, medication side effects, diet, exercise, medical expenses, health care system, social roles, and physical and mental exhaustion. A total of 311 questionnaires were initially collected, with 289 valid responses finally analyzed after excluding ineligible surveys. The Cronbach′s α coefficient and the split-half reliability coefficient were 0.914 and 0.818 respectively. The content validity index (CVI) was 0.60-1.00, and S-CVI/Ave=0.84. Criterion validity showed that the total score of the Chinese simplified version of PETS was significantly correlated with the total score of TBQ ( r=0.804, P<0.01); discriminant validity was good ( P<0.01); nine male factors were extracted by exploratory factor analysis, which explained a total of 75.28% of the total variance, and each of the nine factors fitted different themes in the existing conceptual framework of the burden of care for T2DM with good construct validity. Conclusion:The Chinese version of the PETS scale demonstrates good reliability and validity, and can comprehensively explain the treatment burden of T2DM patients in primary healthcare settings in China.

Multimorbidity has emerged as a critical global public health challenge, necessitating effective management strategies. In Heilongjiang Province, a cold north region in China with a high prevalence of multimorbidity, healthcare disparities, uneven resource distribution, and inadequate chronic disease control remain pressing issues. Driven by national policies on family physician contracting and regional demands for chronic disease management, this study established a "hospital-community general practitioner co-management" model utilizing a mobile-based digital platform. This model integrates hospital-based general practitioners into primary care teams to optimize resource allocation and enhance multimorbidity management. The initiative aims to explore pathways for improving healthcare system reform and strengthening the chronic disease prevention framework in the region.
