Objective The current article aimed to explore the previous focuses,highlight the latest progresses and analyze the future trends on the research of medicinal Pteridophyes.Methods 794 scientific names and 414 Chinese names of medical used ferns and lycopods were established as search term from five public documentary libraries(i.e.,Web of Science,PubMed,CNKI,WangFang and Cqvip),respectively.After data cleaning,5465 publications in English and 8918 publications in Chinese were refined as effective datasets.Subsequently,the up-to-date bibliometric methods and visualization software packages were employed to fulfill the graphical bibliometric analyses.Results The yearly publication numbers in both English and Chinese showed fluctuating upward patterns,and each of them has undergone three phases with distinct rates of rise(i.e.,embryonic stage,smoothly-rising stage and sharply-rising stage).Significant national and territorial discrepancies exist in the various types of literature.The topics in English literature on medicinal Pteridophyes mainly included ontogenetic process and phylogeny,plant-environment interactions,and the pharmacological activities of various metabolites(e.g.alkaloids).The Chinese literature is not only concerned with individual development and pharmacological effects,but also focuses on the application of new technologies,emphasizes the application of them in traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Moreover,our results pointed out rising hotspot medicinal Pteridophyes species such as Drynaria roosii and Huperzia serrata.Conclusion Our present study implied that the medicinal Pteridophyes have aroused wide attention in domestic and foreign scholar and will be continuous concerned for a long time in the future.Currently,4 different aspects(i.e.,phytoremediation,phylogenetic analysis,pharmacological activity and clinical application)are the main research focal points towards this clade of medical plant species,and it is an important emerging tendency that we should apply the multi-omics technology to investigate the Pteridophyes species and unravel their medical values.

Objective:To understand the current status of anemia, iron deficiency, and iron-deficiency anemia among preschool children in China.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted with a multi-stage stratified sampling method to select 150 streets or townships from 10 Chinese provinces, autonomous regions, or municipalities (East: Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Hainan; Central: Henan; West: Chongqing, Shaanxi, Guizhou, and Xinjiang; Northeast: Liaoning). From May 2022 to April 2023, a total of 21 470 children, including community-based children aged 0.5 to<3.0 years receiving child health care and kindergarten-based children aged 3.0 to<7.0 years, were surveyed. They were divided into 3 age groups: infants (0.5 to<1.0 year), toddlers (1.0 to<3.0 years), and preschoolers (3.0 to<7.0 years). Basic information such as sex and date of birth of the children was collected, and peripheral blood samples were obtained for routine blood tests and serum ferritin measurement. The prevalence rates of anemia, iron deficiency, and iron-deficiency anemia were analyzed, and the prevalence rate differences were compared among different ages, sex, urban and rural areas, and regions using the chi-square test.Results:A total of 21 460 valid responses were collected, including 10 780 boys (50.2%). The number of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers were 2 645 (12.3%), 6 244 (29.1%), and 12 571 (58.6%), respectively. The hemoglobin level was (126.7±14.8) g/L, and the serum ferritin level was 32.3 (18.5, 50.1) μg/L. The overall rates of anemia, iron deficiency, and iron-deficiency anemia were 10.4% (2 230/21 460), 28.3% (6 070/21 460), and 3.9% (845/21 460), respectively. The prevalence rate of anemia was higher for boys than for girls (10.9% (1 173/10 780) vs. 9.9% (1 057/10 680), χ2=5.58, P=0.018), with statistically significant differences in the rates for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (18.0% (475/2 645), 10.6% (662/6 244), and 8.7% (1 093/12 571), respectively, χ2=201.81, P<0.01), and the rate was significantly higher for children in rural than that in urban area (11.8% (1 516/12 883) vs. 8.3% (714/8 577), χ2=65.54, P<0.01), with statistically significant differences in the rates by region ( χ2=126.60, P<0.01), with the highest rate of 15.8% (343/2 173) for children in Central region, and the lowest rate of 5.3% (108/2 053) in Northeastern region. The prevalence rates of iron deficiency were 33.8% (895/2 645), 32.2% (2 011/6 244), and 25.2% (3 164/12 571) in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, respectively, and 30.0% (3 229/10 780) in boys vs. 26.6% (2 841/10 680) in girls, 21.7% (1 913/8 821), 40.0% (870/2 173), 27.1% (2 283/8 413), 48.9% (1 004/2 053) in Eastern, Central, Western, and Northeastern regions, respectively, and each between-group showed a significant statistical difference ( χ2=147.71, 29.73, 773.02, all P<0.01). The prevalence rate of iron-deficiency anemia showed a significant statistical difference between urban and rural areas, 2.9% (251/8 577) vs. 4.6% (594/12 883) ( χ2=38.62, P<0.01), while the difference in iron deficiency prevalence was not significant ( χ2=0.51, P=0.476). Conclusions:There has been a notable improvement in iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia among preschool children in China, but the situation remains concerning. Particular attention should be paid to the prevention and control of iron deficiency and iron-deficiency anemia, especially among infants and children in the Central, Western, and Northeastern regions of China.

Concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) refers to the simultaneous treatment of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and the effect of radiotherapy is enhanced with low-dose chemotherapy, which can reduce tumor recurrence and metastasis and improve clinical prognosis of patients. At present, the main factors for the increase of radiosensitivity of concurrent chemotherapy is that concurrent chemotherapy prevents the repair of tumor cells, and chemotherapy and radiotherapy act on different cell cycles and have synergistic effects. However, even for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) who have undergone CCRT, the 5-year survival rate is only 60%, which is still not ideal. In order to improve the efficacy, researchers have conducted a series of exploratory studies, which consist of the combination of targeted drugs and immunodrugs, and neoadjuvant regimens before CCRT, etc. Although targeted or immunologic drugs are effective treatment of LACC, in view of the lack of large-scale evidence-based medical evidence, multi-center prospective and randomized phase III clinical trials and high-level articles are needed to improve the level of evidence-based medicine. This consensus summarizes several key evidence-based medical studies published recently, especially the clinical research progress in targeted and immunological therapies, providing reference for domestic peers.

Objective: To investigate lunch supply of public primary school canteens in Zhejiang Province, and to provide a basis for the scientific guidance of school lunch. Methods: During May to Jun. and Sept. to Oct. in 2019, lunch food supply was weighed and recorded and the number of diners in 44 public primary school canteens were summarized. Each investigation lasted for one week. Results: Food was mainly based on the taste of the students (40.91%) in the school canteen. About 45.45% of the schools referred to the Nutrition Guidelines of School Meals for students meals when making recipes in the school canteen. The supplies of cereals, vegetables, fruits, livestock and poultry meat, fish and shrimp, eggs, milk, soybean nuts, vegetable oil and salt were 109.05, 118.01, 0, 63.96, 9.25, 11.31, 0, 10.68, 10.47, 2.54 g. The supply of vegetable oil was basically the same as the recommended amount ( P >0.05). The supplies of energy, protein, calcium, iron, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin B 1, vitamin B 2, vitamin C, dietary fiber were 820.84 kcal, 32.79 g, 164.18 mg, 7.84 mg, 4.71 mg, 23.07 μgRAE, 0.41 mg, 0.35 mg, 20.47 mg, 2.34 g, 37.56% of energy from fat and 48.47% of energy from carbohydrate. The supply of vitamin B 1 was basically the same as the recommended amount ( P >0.05). There were no significant differences in all kinds of food and nutrients between urban and rural primary schools ( P >0.05). Conclusion Lunch supply is not optimistic in public primary school canteens in Zhejiang Province, with unreasonable structure and fails to agree with current nutritional recommendations. It is suggested that the scientific guidance of students meals should be carried out according to the survey results combined with the characteristics of local diet.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of modified Quyuan decoction in the treatment of Children upper airway cough symptom complex with syndrome of phlegm and heat accumulated in lung. Methods: Eighty-two Children with upper airway cough symptom complex who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups with 41 in each group. In the control group, monteluster sodium chewing tablets were taken orally and budesonide suspension was inhaled. The observation group took modified Quyuan decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks and followed up for 6 months. The levels of interleukin (IL)-8 and IL-13 were detected by double-antibody-sandwich ELISA, and the symptoms and signs were scored before and after treatment, as well as the symptoms of phlegm, heat and stagnation of lung, cough and pharynx. The efficacy was evaluated and recurrence rate was recorded. Results: The total effective rate 95.12% (39/41) in the observation group was obviously higher than 75.61% (31/41) in the control group (χ²=4.783, P=0.029). After treatment, the serum level of IL-8 (51.61 ± 5.94 ng/L vs. 71.25 ± 7.99 ng/L, t=12.631) and IL-13 (27.62 ± 3.20 ng/L vs. 34.91 ± 4.01 ng/L, t=9.099) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.01). After treatment, the scores of cough, nasal obstruction, runny nose, nasal itching, expectoration, sneezing, secretion of posterior pharyngeal wall and pharyngeal mucosa in the observation group were all significantly lower than those in the control group (t values were 7.762, 6.831, 6.217, 6.944, 6.408, 6.212, 7.268, 7.109, all Ps<0.01). The scores of cough, expectoration, blood in sputum, chest pain, dry mouth and fever were significantly lower than those of the control group (t values were 9.439, 6.831, 6.982, 10.115, 12.031 and 10.443, all Ps<0.01). Scores of daytime and nighttime cough symptoms were significantly lower than those of the control group (t values were 7.012, 7.241, respectively, all Ps<0.01). The scores of pharyngeal pain, pharyngeal dryness and pharyngeal foreign body sensation were significantly lower than those of the control group (t values were 6.003, 6.106, 6.318, respectively, all Ps<0.01). In the 6 months' follow-up observation, the recurrence rate was 17.7% (3/17) in the observation group and 53.9% (7/13) in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ²=4.344, P=0.037). Conclusions The modified Quyuan decoction combined with conventional western medicine can improve the symptoms and signs of upper airway cough symptom complex of children with syndrome of phlegm and heat accumulated in lung.

Objective To investigate the correlation between wholeGorgan MRI score (WORMS)and pain in patients with knee osteoarthritis (OA).Methods 1 1 9 patients with knee OA were enrolled,and The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC)was used to estimate the pain.Knees of all the subj ects underwent scanning with sagittal,coronal,transverse TSEG T2 WIGFS and sagittal 3DGFLASHGWE sequences at 3.0T MR.The pathological changes of knee cartilage lesions,subarticular bone marrow edema (BME),bone cysts,bone attrition,osteophytes,meniscal inj ury,ligament inj ury,synovial thickening and joint effusion were evaluated according to the WORMS.The correlations between the above pathological changes and the pain were analyzed.Results There were significant and positive correlations between articular cartilage lesions and osteophytes,articular cartilage lesions and BME,BME and cyst,bone attrition and osteophytes,and BME and osteophytes,with the correlation coefficients of 0.6 70,0.5 9 8,0.5 1 8,0.5 1 4 and 0.505 ,respectively (P＜0.05 ).Multiple regression analysis showed that BME,bone attrition,synovial thickening and joint effusion were the main factors affecting the severity of pain after adj usted for age and BMI (P＜0.05).Conclusion The source of OA pain is multifactorial.The severity of BME,bone attrition,synovial thickening and joint effusion are the main factors associated with joint pain.As a nonGinvasive examination method,MR can make a comprehensive evaluation of the pathological changes of knee OA.

Objective To study the value of MSCT in the diagnosis of neonatal type (Ⅲ) congenital esophageal atresia.Methods MSCT data of 25 cases with neonatal type (Ⅲ) congenital esophageal atresia confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed retrospectively.The full preparation before examination and the image post-processing function were checked,and MSCT data were compared with the findings of surgery.Results By full preparation and application of M PR,SSD technology after scanning,the esophageal proximal blind end,and the distance between the two esophageal blind ends were clearly displayed,furthermore,the opening position,morphology and diameter of the distal tracheoesophageal fistula were also showed,and bronchial tree morphology and inflammation in the lung can be visible.Conclusion MSCT full preparation and application of image post processing function are potential to the clinical diagnosis of congenital esophageal atresia and tracheoesophageal fistula.
