Objective To investigate the correlation between the ratio of lesion volume to uterine volume(T/U),the expression levels of Ki-67 and p16 proteins in lesion tissue, and the recurrence risk of endometrial cancer. Methods A total of 150 patients diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma through pathological examination at Qiandongnan Prefecture People's Hospital were enrolled for follow-up observation.Among them,28 patients experienced recurrence after a 2-year follow-up period, while 122 patients remained recurrence-free.The expression differences of Ki-67 protein and p16 protein in T/U and lesion tissues during surgery were compared between the two groups.Furthermore, these indexes were analyzed based on different pathological features, and the variation in relapse-free survival time was assessed among patients with distinct T/U status as well as Ki-67 and p16 protein expressions. Results The T/U value and the positive expression rate of Ki-67 protein were significantly higher in the relapsed group compared to the non-relapsed group, while the positive expression rate of p16 protein was significantly lower in the relapsed group(P<0.05).Additionally,patients with T/U ≥ 0.18 had a significantly higher proportion of stage Ⅲ patients and patients with low histological differentiation compared to those with T/U<0.18(P<0.05).Furthermore,patients with positive expression of Ki-67 protein exhibited a significantly higher proportion of stage Ⅲ patients, patients with low histological differentiation, and lymph node metastasis compared to those with negative expression of Ki-67 protein(P<0.05).The proportion of stage Ⅲ patients exhibiting positive p16 protein expression, low histological differentiation, and lymph node metastasis was significantly lower compared to those with negative p16 protein expression(P<0.05).Patients with endometrial cancer having a T/U ≥0.18 experienced shorter recurrence-free survival time 2 years post-surgery in comparison to patients with T/U<0.18(x2=6.962,P=0.008).Patients displaying positive Ki-67 expression had a shorter recurrence-free survival time 2 years after surgery than those with negative Ki-67 expression(x2=4.815,P=0.028).The recurrence-free survival time 2 years after surgery for patients expressing p 16 protein positively was longer than that for patients ex-pressing it negatively(x2=4.279,P=0.039).The presence of FIGO stage Ⅲ,lymph node metastasis, depth of myographic invasion ≥1/2,T/U value ≥ 0.18,and positive expression of Ki-67 protein were identified as significant risk factors for postoperative recurrence in endometrial cancer(P<0.05).Conversely,the positive expression of p16 protein was found to be a protective factor against recurrence in endometrial carcinoma following surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of T/U,Ki-67 protein, and p16 protein in endometrial cancer patients is as-sociated with tumor progression and may augment the risk of postoperative recurrence.

Objective To explore the influence of the noviciate mode of the pregnant and lying-in woman all-the-way tracking on midwifery students' professional attitude and capability development. Methods Eight-one junior college midwifery students of grade 2013 were included. They were divided into the control group (n=42, one class) and the observation group (n=39, the other class) with the convenience sampling method. The traditional noviciate mode was used in the control group and the all-the-way tracking noviciate mode was used in the observation group. The students' performance in the two groups before and after the noviciate was compared according to the nursing student professional identify questionnaire, the clinical thinking scale and the supportive communication scale. Results After the noviciate, the professional identity, the critical thinking ability and the supportive communication ability of the students were (2.65±0.41),(3.58±0.43) and (3.87±0.18) in the observation group, respectively, and (2.39±0.43),(3.07±0.32) and (3.38±0.15) in the control group, respectively. All the scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (t=2.66,6.49,12.83;P<0.01).Conclusions The pregnant and lying-in woman all-the-way tracking noviciate can increase midwifery students' professional identity, which is helpful for the development of the studnets'comprehensive ability.

Objective To investigate the current status of critical thinking ability and commu-nication ability of nursing students, therefore providing reference for teaching reform. Methods The Critical Thinking Scale translated and revised by Pro. Peng MeiZi of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Supportive Communication Scale (SCS) edited by Whetten and his colleague were used to investi-gate nursing students' levels of critical thinking and communication ability among 176 selected nursing students in our college, with method of Random Cluster Sampling. Descriptive analysis, single sample t-test, and two independent sample t-test were applied to the collected data with SPSS l7.0. Results①The average score of critical thinking for the investigated college nursing students was (264.54± 29.94). 72.73% of them got 210~280 points, in which three items: cognitive maturity (t=4.695, P=0.000), open mind (t=4.016, P=0.000), and intellectual curiosity (t=2.973, P=0.003) were greater than 40 points. And the differences were statistically significant; compared to different individual character-istics, being a student cadre (t=3.494, P=0.001) or not is of statistical significance. ②The total average score of communication ability (t=3.219, P=0.002) for college nursing students,as well as the score of providing effective negative feedback (t=6.790, P=0.000) and supportive communication (t=4.267, P=0.000) were significantly higher than median 3.00. And the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion In order to improve the critical thinking ability and interpersonal communication ability of nursing students, and educate the nursing students to adapt to society and complicated clinical nursing environment, it is necessary to reform the curriculum setting, curriculum design and teaching method.

Objectives To evaluate pediatric neck masses with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Methods In this retrospective study, 140 children with neck masses underwent MRI were collected from May 2006 to December 2013. Of them 34 cases went through pathological examinations. The results of MRI diagnosis and pathology were compared in 34 cases. Results In 140 children with neck masses diagnosed by MRI, 103 (73.6%) cases were benign lesions, including 62 vascular malformations, 30 hemangiomas, then cysts, hamartoma, infectious lumps etc., 29 (20.7%) were malignant tumors, including 22 lymphomas, 3 rhabdomyosarcomas, 3 Langerhans cell histiocytosis, 1 neuroblastoma, and 8 (5.7%) cases were undeter-mined masses. Four in 103 cases with benign lesions were performed by pathological examination and all had been con-firmed. Tewenty-five in 29 cases with malignant tumors were performed by pathological examination and 22 cases had been confirmed. Conclusion MRI can help to diagnose the pediatric neck masses and to guide the treatment and follow-up.
