Widespread utilization of glyphosate has led to environmental residues,posing potential threats to ecological systems and human health.Traditional methods for detection of glyphosate are limited by specialized equipment and operational techniques,resulting in inefficient responses.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a convenient,sensitive and accurate detection method for detection of glyphosate.Herein,a new naphthalenesulfonamide-based"Turn-on"fluorescent probe was synthesized using 2-chloroaniline and dansyl chloride as raw materials through a one-step process,which showed a good linear relationship between the glyphosate concentration in concentration range of 0.003-70 μmol/L and the fluorescence intensity(R2=0.995),with a detection limit of 2.73 nmol/L(S/N=3).Analytical techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)spectroscopy and high-resolution mass spectrometry(HRMS)were used to investigate the interaction mechanism between the fluorescent probe and glyphosate.The results indicated that a nucleophilic substitution reaction occurred between the probe and the secondary amine(—NH—)of glyphosate,inducing a photoinduced electron transfer(PET)effect which enhanced the fluorescence intensity by 11.2 times.The probe showed good anti-interference ability towards coexisting metal ions,anions and pesticides in water.When applied to determination of glyphosate in the samples such as tap water,river water(Xiangxi River Reservoir),soil,soybeans,and corn,the spiking recoveries ranged from 94.7％to 109.9％,demonstrating the high accuracy and broad applicability of this detection method.A portable test strip based on this fluorescent probe was developed for rapid semi-quantitative analysis of glyphosate.The developed method was rapid,sensitive,and portable,providing theoretical and technical support for on-site measurement of environmental contaminants.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) decoction pieces are a core carrier for the inheritance and innovation of TCM, and their quality and safety are critical to public health and the sustainable development of the industry. Conventional quality control models, while having established a well-developed system through long-term practice, still face challenges such as relatively long inspection cycles, insufficient objectivity in characterizing complex traits, and urgent needs for improving the efficiency of integrating multidimensional quality information when confronted with the dual demands of large-scale production and precision quality control. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, machine learning can deeply analyze multidimensional data of the morphology, spectroscopy, and chemical fingerprints of decoction pieces by constructing high-dimensional feature space analysis models, significantly improving the standardization level and decision-making efficiency of quality evaluation. This article reviews the research progress in the application of machine learning in the processing, production, and rapid quality evaluation of TCM decoction pieces. It further analyzes current challenges in technological implementation and proposes potential solutions, offering theoretical and technical references to advance the digital and intelligent transformation of the industry.

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) is a naturally occurring, low-toxicity, and hydrophilic bile acid (BA) in the human body that is converted by intestinal flora using primary BA. Solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11) functions to uptake extracellular cystine in exchange for glutamate, and is highly expressed in a variety of human cancers. Retroperitoneal liposarcoma (RLPS) refers to liposarcoma originating from the retroperitoneal area. Lipidomics analysis revealed that UDCA was one of the most significantly downregulated metabolites in sera of RLPS patients compared with healthy subjects. The augmentation of UDCA concentration (≥25 μg/mL) demonstrated a suppressive effect on the proliferation of liposarcoma cells. [¹⁵N₂]-cystine and [¹³C₅]-glutamine isotope tracing revealed that UDCA impairs cystine uptake and glutathione (GSH) synthesis. Mechanistically, UDCA binds to the cystine transporter SLC7A11 to inhibit cystine uptake and impair GSH de novo synthesis, leading to reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial oxidative damage. Furthermore, UDCA can promote the anti-cancer effects of ferroptosis inducers (Erastin, RSL3), the murine double minute 2 (MDM2) inhibitors (Nutlin 3a, RG7112), cyclin dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) inhibitor (Abemaciclib), and glutaminase inhibitor (CB839). Together, UDCA functions as a cystine exchange factor that binds to SLC7A11 for antitumor activity, and SLC7A11 is not only a new transporter for BA but also a clinically applicable target for UDCA. More importantly, in combination with other antitumor chemotherapy or physiotherapy treatments, UDCA may provide effective and promising treatment strategies for RLPS or other types of tumors in a ROS-dependent manner.

Purpose To evaluate the classification criteria of triple negative breast cancer(TNBC)based on histomorphol-ogy and immunohistochemistry(IHC),and to provide theoreti-cal basis for the classification and treatment of TNBCs.Methods TNBC subtyping was performed according to the histomorphologi-cal characteristics and the expression of immune markers AR,CD8 and FOXC1,and the clinicopathological features and prog-nostic differences were compared.Results Among 93 cases of TNBC,there were 23 cases(24.7％)of luminal androgen re-ceptor subtypes,24 cases(25.8％)of immunomodulatory type,39 cases(42.0％)of basal immunosuppressive type,and 7 ca-ses(7.5％)of mesenchymal type.There were significant differ-ences in the clinicopathological features of subtypes,including pT stage(P=0.030),histological grade(P＜0.001),intersti-tial lymphocyte infiltration pattern(P＜0.001),expression of PD-L1(P＜0.001),and HER2-low(P=0.024).There was no significant difference in disease-free survival among the sub-types(P＞0.05).Univariate survival analysis showed there was significant difference in disease-free survival among the subtypes at pT1 stage(P=0.011),and other clinicopathological features were not independent prognostic factors.Conclusion The clini-copathological characteristics of TNBC subtypes are different,which are expected to be an alternative choice for complex gene expression profile analysis and to provide theoretical basis for subtypic therapy and targeted therapy.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of adult body composition and obesity status of three ethnic groups:Ewenki,Daur and Mongolian Buryat.Methods The bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA)was used to measure 18 body composition components in three adults ethnic groups:245(male 124,female 121)Ewenki,207(male 90,female 117)Daur,and 181(male 74,female 107)Mongolian Buryat.The data were processed using Excel 2016 and SPSS 24.0 statistical software.Results The result of correlation analysis showed that visceral fat level was significantly and positively correlated with age(P＜0.01).Stature,total body muscle mass,estimated bone mass and trunk muscle mass were all significantly and negatively correlated with age(P＜0.01)in males and females of the three ethnic groups.The percent body fat,percent left upper limb fat and percent trunk fat were positively correlated with age in Ewenki males(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01)and the percent body fat,body mass index(BMI),percent limb fat and percent trunk fat were positively correlated with age in Ewenki females(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Body weight,BMI,percent left upper limb fat,left upper limb muscle mass,bilateral lower limb fat and muscle mass were all negatively correlated with age in Daur males(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).Body weight,upper limb muscle mass and left lower limb muscle mass were negatively correlated with age(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01)in Mongolian Buryat males and percent trunk fat was positively correlated with age(P＜0.05)in Mongolian Buryat females.Comparison between ethnic groups showed that most of the body composition index values of the Ewenki and Mongolian Buryat divisions were closest to each other,and the body fat content was higher than that of the Daur.BMI,percent body fat and visceral fat level were all manifested in the Mongolian Buryat Department＞Ewenki＞Daur.Cluster analysis showed that Ewenki,Daur and Mongolian Buryat were closer to the northern groups and further from the southern groups.Conclusion The Ewenki is most similar to the Mongolian Buryat in body composition characteristics all three ethnic groups has a more serious obesity problem.

Objective:To investigate the biological characteristics of triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) with low expression of HER2 (HER2-low).Methods:A total of 93 TNBC cases in Shanxi Cancer Hospital from 2017 to 2019 were collected and divided into HER2-negative and HER2-low groups according to HER2 expression status. The clinicopathological features and prognostic differences between the two groups were retrospectively analyzed and compared, and genetic detection of tumor tissues was performed to clarify somatic mutation status and differences between the two groups.Results:Ninety-three patients aged 26 to 86 years were enrolled, including 60 patients in the HER2-negative group and 33 patients in the HER2-low group. The distribution of HER2-low in luminal androgen receptor (LAR) subtype (14/23, 60.87%) and non-LAR subtype (19/70, 27.14%) was significantly different ( P=0.005). There were no significant differences in age, pT stage, histological grade, infiltration mode, lymph node metastasis and survival analysis. The expression of HER2-low in the tumor was heterogeneous, including different proportions of weak, weak to moderate intensity, and incomplete to intact membrane staining. With the change of the proportion of HER2-positive cells, the different distribution of those cells in the total tumor cells was noted, including cluster, mosaic and scattered patterns. The concentration and quality of DNA extracted from 71 of the 93 samples met the requirements for making libraries, including 43 in the HER2-negative group and 28 in the HER2-low group. Genetic mutations were mainly missense mutations, single nucleotide mutations, and point mutations in which base C was replaced by base T. There was no significant difference in genes with mutation frequency>3 times between the two groups. CTNNB1 and FGFR3 genes were only mutated in HER2-low group; while ALK, CYP2D6 and FAT1 genes were only mutated in HER2-negative group. HER2-low group included 18 HER2 1+ cases and 10 HER2 2+ cases. Genes with mutation frequency>3 times between the two groups included PIK3CA, TP53, SLX4, ATM and BRCA1. The mutation frequency of PIK3CA in HER2 2+ was significantly higher than that in HER2 1+ group ( P<0.05), and SLX4 gene was only mutated in HER2 1+ group. Conclusions:There are some differences of histological morphology and genetic variation between HER2-negative group and HER2-low group, and also differences in genetic variation between HER2 1+ and HER2 2+ in HER2-low group, which are helpful for more accurate stratification of TNBC and useful for finding the therapeutic target and precise treatment of HER2-low TNBC.

Objective To explore the imaging features of primary cardiac tumors detected by echocardiography,CT and MR in children,and to analyze the value of each examination and the clinical examination strategies.Methods The clinical,pathological and imaging data of the children with primary cardiac tumors confirmed by surgery and pathology from Jun 2008 to Feb 2022 in Children's Hospital,Fudan University were analyzed retrospectively.Tumor size,location,motion,signal characteristics on different sequences,and pericardial involvement were evaluated on MR images.Results A total of 23 children(16 males and 7 females)were included.The age of onset ranged from 1 month to 13 years old,average on(54.45±58.57)months.While the onset age of rhabdomyomas was only(7.23±6.30)months.The clinical manifestations mainly included 6 cases of cardiac murmur,3 cases of cardiac insufficiency,3 cases of epilepsy,2 cases of cerebral infarction,and 1 case of arrhythmia.Pathological results showed that there were 22 cases of benign tumors(9 cases of fibromas,8 cases of myxomas,4 cases of rhabdomyomas and 1 case of lipoma)and 1 case of malignant tumor(rhabdomyosarcoma).Echocardiography has a high diagnostic accuracy for myxoma.CT showed a case of malignant rhabdomyosarcoma with invasion of the pericardium and compression of the pulmonary artery and bronchus.MR showed that the fibroma had significantly late gadolinium enhancement.The signal of rhabdomyoma was equal on T1WI,and slightly increased on T2WI,perfusion and late gadolinium enhancement sequences.Myxoma had high signal on T2WI and late gadolinium enhancement.It had obvious motions in Cine sequence.The signal of lipoma on each sequence was consistent with that of fat tissue,and there was no high signal of perfusion and late gadolinium enhancement.Conclusion All types of primary cardiac tumors in children have imaging characteristics.MR has great advantages in diagnosing cardiac tumors.The clinical team needs to select the appropriate examination method according to the actual medical situation.

Objective To investigate the correlation of the distribution patterns of stem-branch circuit qi at birth and at conception of children with the predisposition to pediatric epilepsy.Methods A case-control study was conducted in 1 113 children with epilepsy(case group)and 2 346 non-epilepsy children(control group)who sought medical consultation in the Pediatric Outpatient Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the same period.Chi-square test and binary logistic regression were used to analyze the circuit qi endowment of children between the two groups at conception and at birth.Results(1)The analysis of the circuit qi distribution at birth showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the distribution of dominant qi between the case group and the control group at birth(P＜0.05).The initial qi(the first circuit qi in the theory of six climatic factors)accounted for the most(215 cases,19.30％)and the sixth qi accounted for the least(145 cases,13.0％).There was no significant difference in the distribution of suiyun(yearly evolutive phase),dominant circuit(regular yearly evolutive phase),guest circuit(alterable yearly evolutive phase),guest qi(alterable yearly circuit qi)and sitian(the first half of the alterable yearly circuit qi)at birth(P＞0.05).The results of binary logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of predisposition to epilepsy in the children was increased when the children were born in the Chinese lunar year of Ren(OR=1.444,95％CI:1.055-1.975),at the initial qi(OR=1.363,95％CI:1.057-1.757)and at the fifth qi(OR=1.378,95％CI:1.065-1.783).(2)The analysis on the distribution of circuit qi at conception showed that there was no significant difference in the distribution of suiyun and sitian-zaiquan semiannual circuit qi between the case group and the control group(P＞0.05).Binary logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of predisposition to epilepsy in the children was increased when pregnancy in the suiyun of taimu-taimu(OR=1.866,95％CI:1.142-3.048)and at sitian semiannual circuit qi of shaoyang minister fire and zaiquan semiannual circuit qi of jueyin wind-wood(OR=1.672,95％CI:1.004-2.786).Conclusion There is a certain correlation between circuit qi endowment and the prevalence of pediatric epilepsy.

Objective To explore the risk factors for bile leakage after laparoscopic common bile duct exploration(LCBDE)with primary closure.Methods The clinical data of 560 patients with choledocholithiasis who underwent LCBDE with primary closure in Tianjin Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from September 2021 to September 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients were divided into the bile leak group and the non-bile leak group according to the occurrence of postoperative bile leakage.The risk factors affecting the occurrence of postoperative bile leakage were analyzed by multivariate analysis.Results A total of 64 cases(11.4% )experienced varying degrees of bile leakage,including 55 cases of grade A bile leakage,7 cases of grade B,and 2 cases of grade C.The thin common bile duct(OR=0.07,P<0.001),history of hypertension(OR=4.56,P<0.001),and high BMI(OR=1.17,P=0.002)were the risk factors for postoperative bile leakage in patients with choledocholithiasis.Conclusion Patients with thin common bile duct,hypertension and obesity are more likely to occur postoperative bile leakage.Patients with choledocholithiasis who have the above high-risk factors should be cautious in choosing LCBDE with primary closure.

Objective We aimed to compare the efficacy and prognosis of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in complex and high-risk patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)treated with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO)combined with intra-aortic balloon pump(IABP)assistance,and explore the application value of combined use of mechanical circulatory support(MCS)devices in complex PCI.Methods A total of patients who met the inclusion criteria and underwent selective PCI supported by MCS at the Department of Cardiology,the First Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Medical University from January 2018 to December 2022 were continuously enrolled.According to the mechanical circulatory support method,the patients were divided into ECMO+IABP group and IABP group.Clinical characteristics,angiographic features,in-hospital outcomes,and complications were collected.The intra-hospital outcomes and major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)at one month and one year after the procedure were observed.The differences and independent risk factors between the two groups in the above indicators were analyzed.Results A total of 218 patients undergoing elective PCI were included,of which 66 patients were in the ECMO+IABP group and 152 patients were in the IABP group.The baseline characteristics of the two groups of patients were generally comparable,but the ECMO+IABP group had more complex lesion characteristics.The proportion of patients with atrial fibrillation(6.1％vs.0.7％,P=0.030),left main disease(43.9％vs.27.0％,P=0.018),triple vessel disease(90.9％vs.75.5％,P=0.009),and RCA chronic total occlusion disease(60.6％vs.35.5％,P＜0.001)was higher in the ECMO+IABP group compared to the IABP group.The proportion of patients with previous PCI history was higher in the IABP group(32.9％vs.16.7％,P=0.014).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of in-hospital complications between the two groups(P=0.176),but the incidence of hypotension after PCI was higher in the ECMO+IABP group(19.7％vs.9.2％,P=0.031).The rates of 1-month MACE(4.5％vs.2.6％,P=0.435)and 1-year MACE(7.6％vs.7.9％,P=0.936)were comparable between the two groups.Multivariate analysis showed that in-hospital cardiac arrest(OR 7.17,95％CI 1.27-40.38,P=0.025)and after procedure hypotension(OR 3.60,95％CI 1.10-11.83,P=0.035)were independent risk factors for the occurrence of 1-year MACE.Conclusions Combination use of ECMO+IABP support can provide complex and high-risk coronary heart disease patients with an opportunity to achieve coronary artery revascularization through PCI,and achieve satisfactory long-term prognosis.
