Objective: To describe the prevalence of alcohol consumption and the burden of hemorrhagic stroke and hypertensive heart disease attributed to alcohol consumption in adults aged ≥20 years in 31 provinces in China from 2005 to 2018. Methods: Data from several national representative surveys was used to estimate provincial alcohol exposure level of adults aged ≥20 years from 2005 to 2018 by using kriging interpolation and locally weighted regression methods. Global disease burden research method and data, and China's death cause surveillance data were used to calculate the population attributable fraction (PAF) of hemorrhagic stroke and hypertensive heart disease and the deaths due to alcohol consumption in men and women aged ≥20 years in 31 provinces in China. China census data of 2010 were used to calculate the attributable standardized mortality rate. Results: In 2005 and 2018, the prevalence of alcohol consumption was 58.7% (95%CI: 57.8%-59.5%) and 58.4% (95%CI: 57.6%-59.3%), respectively, in men and 17.0% (95%CI: 16.6%-17.4%) and 18.7% (95%CI:18.1%-19.3%), respectively, in women. The daily alcohol intake was 24.6 (95%CI: 23.8-25.3) g and 27.7 (95%CI: 26.8-28.7) g, respectively, in men and 6.3 (95%CI: 6.0-6.5) g and 5.3 (95%CI: 5.0-5.6) g, respectively, in women. Alcohol exposure level was higher in the provinces in central and eastern China than in western provinces. The lowest exposure level was found in northwestern provinces. From 2005 to 2018, the PAF of hemorrhagic stroke death due to alcohol consumption increased from 5.5% to 6.8%, the attributable deaths increased from 50 200 to 59 100, while the PAF of hypertensive heart disease death due to alcohol consumption increased from 7.0% to 7.7%, the attributable deaths increased from 15 200 to 29 300. The PAF of hypertensive heart disease and hemorrhagic stroke was higher in men than in women, and in central and eastern provinces than in western provinces. In 2018, the standardized mortality rates of hemorrhagic stroke and hypertensive heart disease attributed to alcohol consumption were 4.58/100 000 and 2.11/100 000, respectively. Conclusions: The prevalence of alcohol consumption in men and daily alcohol intake of drinkers were relatively high in China, especially in eastern provinces. Alcohol exposure level was lower in women than in men. Regional measures should be taken to reduce the alcohol intakes in men and current drinkers in order to reduce the health problems caused by alcohol consumption.

Objective: To explore the safety and effectiveness of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for oligometastases from colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods: This is a prospective, single-arm phase Ⅱ trial. Patients who had histologically proven CRC, 1 to 5 detectable liver or lung metastatic lesions with maximum diameter of any metastases ≤5 cm were eligible. SBRT was delivered to all lesions. The primary endpoint was 3-year local control (LC). The secondary endpoints were treatment-related acute toxicities of grade 3 and above, 1-year and 3-year overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PFS). Survival analysis was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method and Log rank test. Results: Petients from 2016 to 2019 who were treated in Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. Forty-eight patients with 60 lesions were enrolled, including 37 liver lesions and 23 lung lesions. Forty-six patients had 1 or 2 lesions, with median diameter of 1.3 cm, the median biologically effective dose (BED(10)) was 100.0 Gy. The median follow-up was 19.5 months for all lesions. Twenty-five lesions developed local failure, the median local progression free survival was 15 months. The 1-year LC, OS and PFS was 70.2% (95% CI, 63.7%~76.7%), 89.0% (95% CI, 84.3%~93.7%) and 40.4% (95%CI, 33.0%~47.8%). The univariate analysis revealed that planning target volume (PTV) and total dose were independent prognostic factors of LC (P<0.05). For liver and lung lesions, the 1-year LC, OS and PFS was 58.7% and 89.4% (P=0.015), 89.3% and 86.5% (P=0.732), 30.5% and 65.6% (P=0.024), respectively. No patients developed acute toxicity of grade 3 and above. Conclusion: SBRT is safe and effective treatment method for oligometastases from CRC under precise respiratory motion management and robust quality assurance.

This article introduces the present development status, medical insurance charges, publicity and influence, legislation and practice of acupuncture-moxibustion in Namibia, and proposes some countermeasures for the current problems in the development of acupuncture-moxibustion in Namibia. Namibia has passed legislation of acupuncture-moxibustion and incorporated acupuncture-moxibustion into the medical insurance system in March 2020. The acupuncture-moxibustion will enter the fast track of development, but the acupuncture-moxibustion education, training and cooperation, talent cultivation mode, reimbursement scope of medical insurance, and standardization construction still need to be steadily improved and strengthened.

OBJECTIVE: To observe the clinical effect of herb-separated moxibustion on segmental conception vessel combined with low-frequency transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) for asthenospermia and oligospermia. METHODS: A total of 105 patients with asthenospermia and oligospermia were randomly divided into a combination group, a TEAS group and a medication group, 35 cases in each one. In the medication group, vitamin E capsules, coenzyme Q10 capsules， RESULTS: Compared before treatment, except for the sperm morphology 2 months into treatment in the medication group, the semen routine indexes 2, 3 months into treatment were improved in the 3 groups ( CONCLUSION Herb-separated moxibustion on segmental conception vessel combined with low-frequency TEAS can improve semen routine, reduce sperm oxidative stress damage for patients with asthenospermia and oligospermia, and the clinical efficacy is better than the medication and TEAS.

The mammalian epididymis not only plays a fundamental role in the maturation of spermatozoa, but also provides protection against various stressors. The foremost among these is the threat posed by oxidative stress, which arises from an imbalance in reactive oxygen species and can elicit damage to cellular lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. In mice, the risk of oxidative damage to spermatozoa is mitigated through the expression and secretion of glutathione peroxidase 5 (GPX5) as a major luminal scavenger in the proximal caput epididymidal segment. Accordingly, the loss of GPX5-mediated protection leads to impaired DNA integrity in the spermatozoa of aged Gpx5

Objective:To investigate the efficacy and anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect of Huoxue ointment on osteoarthritis of the knee caused by knee joint injury in rabbits. Method:A total of 60 big ear white rabbits were selected, with half male and half female. Ten rabbits were randomly selected by weight and set as normal control group. For the remaining rabbits, the injury of articular cartilage and anterior cruciate ligament were caused in the femoral ankle joint surface of the right hind knee joint, so as to establish an animal model of knee osteoarthritis in rabbits. For the normal control group, the skin was cut open and immediately sutured. Two weeks after the operation, rabbits were randomly divided into model control group according to body weight，positive voltaren group (1 cm·kg^-1·d^-1), and high-dose (6 g·kg^-1·d^-1), medium-dose (3 g·kg^-1·d^-1) and low-dose(1.5 g·kg^-1·d^-1) Huoxue ointment groups, with 10 animals in each group. Interleukinin-1β （IL-1β） in rabbit articular cavity fluid and peripheral blood were measured, contents of tumor necrosis factor-α （TNF-α） and free radical nitric oxide（NO）, rabbit articular cartilage was examined by histopathology, in order to study the efficacy of Huoxue ointment on rabbit knee arthritis. The model of increased permeability of capillaries in abdominal cavity of mice induced by acetic acid and the model of foot swelling of rats induced by carrageenan were used to determine the absorbance of mice peritoneal fluid and the rat foot swelling value, and study the anti-inflammatory effect of huoxue ointment. A total of 120 SPF ICR mice and 60 SD rats were selected, with half male and half female. The mice were randomly divided according to body weight into model control groups, positive Voltaren group (3 cm·kg^-1·d^-1), and high-dose (16 g·kg^-1·d^-1), medium-dose (8 g·kg^-1·d^-1), low-dose (4 g·kg^-1·d^-1) Huoxue ointment groups，with 12 animals in each group. The rats were randomly divided into the model control group, positive voltaren group (2 cm·kg^-1·d^-1), and high-dose (8 g·kg^-1·d^-1), medium-dose (4 g·kg^-1·d^-1), low-dose (2 g·kg^-1·d^-1) Huoxue ointment groups，with 10 animals in each group. Result:The tested dose of Huoxue ointment，the levels of IL-1β, TNF-α and NO in rabbit serum and joint fluid were decreased to varying degrees, and the effect was significant in the high-dose group (P<0.05). According to the pathological examination, the tested dose of Huoxue ointment, knee cartilage and synovial tissue lesions were significantly lower than those of the model control group (P<0.05)，the value of peritoneal fluid concentration and the foot swelling in medium and high-dose Huoxue ointment groups were significantly lower than those in the model control group (P<0.05). The analgesic effect of tail shaking in mice, and the pain threshold rate of the high-dose Huoxue ointment group were significantly higher than those of the model control group (P<0.05)， the analgesic effect lasted for 4 hours, the foot tenderness of rats in the large and medium-dose Huoxue ointment groups was significantly higher than that in the model control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Huoxue ointment has obvious joint repair and anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects on osteoarthritis of knee caused by knee joint injury in rabbits.
