Methods:
Sixty-two patients (2014–2019) were divided into the SC (n=32) and PC (n=30) groups. Clinical outcomes were evaluated using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), modified Japanese Orthopedic Association (mJOA) score, and Neck Disability Index (NDI). Radiological parameters, including cervical lordosis (CL), fused segment angle (FSA), and disc height (DH), were assessed. Cage subsidence, adjacent segment degeneration (ASD), and other complications were also documented. The relationship between postoperative radiological changes and symptoms was also analyzed.
Results:
Both groups showed significant improvement in symptoms, with fusion achieved in all surgical segments. The SC group had a shorter operative time and reduced intraoperative blood loss. However, the SC group had a higher subsidence rate (16.7% vs. 5.6%, p=0.017). The PC group maintained better cervical alignment in terms of CL, FSA, and DH (p<0.05), with an increased incidence of dysphagia and ASD (p<0.05). Spearman correlation analyses showed that neither CL nor FSA loss at the 5-year follow-up was significantly associated with improvements in the mJOA, VAS, and NDI scores (p>0.05) in either group. Regression analyses indicated that subsidence or loss of lordosis did not correlate with the degree of postoperative symptoms (p<0.05).
Conclusions
Both SC and PC achieved sustained pain relief, neurological improvement, and solid fusion in three-level ACDF at the 5-year follow-up. SC demonstrated significant advantages in reducing dysphagia and ASD, while PC better maintained cervical alignment and segmental stability. Patient-specific factors should be used to guide implant selection. Further multicenter studies are required to validate these findings.

Objective To investigate the acupoint selection law in acupuncture therapy for post-stroke respiratory dysfunction through data mining techniques with R language; To provide references for acupoint selection of clinical acupuncture practice for this disease. Methods Clinical research literature about acupuncture therapy for post-stroke respiratory dysfunction was retrieved from CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,CBM,PubMed,Cochrane Library,Web of Science and Embase from the establishment of the databases to February 20,2025.An acupuncture prescription database was established using Excel 2021.R 4.4.3 was used to analyze acupoint application frequency, meridian tropism, regional distribution and specific acupoints, and clustering analysis and association rule analysis were performed. Results Totally 123 articles were obtained, including 123 acupuncture prescriptions, involving 110 acupoints with a total application frequency of 723 times.High-frequency acupoints included Feishu(BL13),Hegu(LI4),Zusanli(ST36)and Fengchi(GB20),etc.The most frequently used meridians were the Bladder Meridian,Ren Meridian,Lung Meridian and Stomach Meridian.Acupoints were predominantly distributed in the head, neck and back regions, with crossing acupoints being the most commonly employed specific acupoints.Clustering analysis identified five meaningful acupoint combinations. The acupoint pair"Feishu(BL13)-Pishu(BL20)"demonstrated the strongest association. Conclusion Acupuncture treatment for post-stroke respiratory dysfunction follows the principle of strengthening the spleen to resolve phlegm and ventilating lung qi.The core acupoint combination is Feishu(BL13)-Pishu(BL20),with additional a acupoints adjusted based on syndrome differentiation to optimize therapeutic efficacy.

Objective To evaluate retinal vascular and neural changes in patients with coronary artery disease with depression(CADD)and to investigate their association with depression severity. Methods A total of 40 patients with CADD,56 patients with CAD without depressive disorder(CADND),and 31 healthy controls were included in this study. The vessel density of superficial capillary plexus(SCP)and deep capillary plexus(DCP),and the thickness of the retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)and ganglion cell complex(GCC),were quanti-fied using optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)to analyze the differences between the groups and their correlation with PHQ-9 scores. Results Compared with the healthy control group,SCP and DCP were signifi-cantly decreased in both CADD and CADND groups(P<0.05).Both superior hemi in RNFL thickness and GCC thickness(including mean, superior hemi, and inferior hemi)were significantly increased in patients with CADD compared with patients with CADND(P<0.05).PHQ-9 scores were negatively correlated with the mean and infe-rior RNFL thickness(P<0.05).Conclusion Both retinal vascular neural structures were altered in patients with CADD,and the neural alterations were strongly correlated with the severity of the patient's depression symptom.

Endometriosis is a common estrogen-dependent disease in women of childbearing age, often leading to chronic pelvic pain, infertility, ovarian cancer, and other serious complications, and jeopardizing the health of women. The pathogenesis of endometriosis is complex and involves the alteration of multiple signaling pathways mediated by hormones, immunity, genetics, and the environment, and their interactions.Wnt/β-catenin signaling is involved in the regulation of embryonic development and tissue homeostasis, and it has recently been implicated in the pathogenesis of endometriosis via multiple pathways. This review considers the biological characteristics of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway and summarizes the main mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in the pathogenesis of endometriosis,as well as the curr-ent research status of the regulation of this signaling pathway by traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of endometriosis. We aim to clarify how the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway affects the development of endometriosis, and suggest that future studies should focus on exploring its potential role as an indicator for the clinical prediction and early diagnosis of endometriosis, thus providing theoretical support for the early diagnosis of this condition and the development of targeted drugs.

Body weight abnormalities, including overweight, obesity, and underweight, have become a dual public health challenge in Chinese adults: overweight and obesity lead to a variety of chronic complications, while underweight increases the risks of malnutrition, sarcopenia, and organ dysfunction. To systematically address these issues, multidisciplinary experts in endocrinology, sports science, nutrition, and psychiatry from various regions have held multiple weight management seminars. Based on the latest epidemiological data and clinical evidence, they expanded the guideline to include assessment and intervention strategies for underweight, in addition to the core content of obesity management. This guideline outlines the etiological mechanisms, evaluation methods, and multidimensional management strategies for overweight and obesity, covering key areas such as diagnosis and assessment, medical nutrition therapy, exercise prescription, pharmacological intervention, and psychological support. It is intended to provide a scientific and standardized approach to weight management across the adult population, aiming to curb the rising prevalence of obesity, mitigate complications associated with abnormal body weight, and improve nutritional status and overall quality of life.

The pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease(AD)is complex and unclear.Existing drugs can only alleviate its symp-toms,and there is an urgent need to develop effective therapeutic drugs. As the representative drugs of tonic and enlightening medicine, ginseng and acorus calamus have pharmacological effects to improve memory, improve learning ability and reduce cognitive impairment, which are commonly used in Chinese med-icine for the treatment of dementia. The combination of ginseng and acorus calamus can further promote the active ingredients in-to brain to exert their medicinal effects, and delay the process of AD through anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidative stress, modulation of neuronal-synaptic plasticity and other multiple pathways, with multi-level,multi-system and multi-target action characteristics. This paper attempts to summarize the existing research results and lay the foundation for further exploring the synergistic mech-anism of action of ginseng-acorus calamus combination and the dose-effect relationship of the combination,so as to provide a sci-entific basis for the development of innovative Chinese medicines for the prevention and treatment of AD.
