Objective To explore the characteristics and evolution of disability prevention policies for the elderly by quantitative analysis and text-mining analysis of disability prevention policy texts for the elderly in China from 1988 to 2024,so as to provide a basis for improving disability prevention policies for the elderly in China.Methods CiteSpace 6.3.R1 and Rost CM6 software were used for bibliometric and text-mining analyses of policy texts related to the elderly disability prevention in China,such as policy quantity,issuing agencies,formats,and thematic changes.Results A total of 111 policy texts were analyzed,with only 5.4%(6/111)specifically focusing on elderly disability prevention.Policy development had 3 stages:1988-2005,an initial construction phase for the rehabilitation and prevention system,primarily focused on the establishment of fundamental systems for disability rehabilitation and basic institutional development,such as community security;2006-2015,a goal-oriented phase enhancing disability prevention and social security,particularly targeting fall prevention,chronic disease control,and subsidies for the elderly with disabilities;and 2016-2024,a phase of refined disability prevention strategies and integration with elderly health services,where the focus has increasingly shifted to precise prevention measures and the alignment of disability prevention with elderly health service systems.Conclusion China's disability prevention policy system and the policy system related to aging health have gradually formed,but the 2 have not been effectively integrated.While universal policies offer public awareness benefits,the lack of pertinent policies limits elderly disability prevention outcomes.It is necessary to introduce more pertinent elderly disability prevention policies.

Network analysis serves as a critical methodological approach for enhancing the efficiency of health management in elderly patients with chronic diseases,demonstrating unique advantages in precisely identifying intervention targets.This article comprehensively reviews recent advancements in the application of network analysis for managing chronic conditions in older adults,systematically organizing research findings across 3 analytical dimensions:cross-sectional networks,dynamic networks,and individualized networks.The review aims to provide healthcare professionals with a robust theoretical foundation and methodological support for developing personalized health management strategies.

As an independent first-level discipline,an appropriate classification of nursing science is significant.In China,each nursing degree-granting institution has developed its own secondary-level discipline directions based on its research characteristics and strengths,with varying names and research scopes.Furthermore,there is no unified global classification system.This paper,based on the characteristics of nursing as a discipline and combined with China's discipline classification principles,used literature analysis,comprehensive classification,philosophical reflection,logical reasoning,and expert consultation methods to explore the connotation of nursing,its unique research objects and scope,and to construct a secondary-level discipline classification system for nursing science that is suitable for China's national conditions.The paper also discussed the challenges faced by the nursing discipline and its future development directions,providing theoretical and practical guidance for the development of the nursing discipline.

Stroke is a major public health problem in China and the world. Health management can reduce morbidity, disability rate, recurrence rate, mortality and burden of stroke patients effectively.And it can also improve the quality of life of stroke patients effectively. Although the research on stroke health management in China started later than that in foreign countries, a series of research achievements have been obtained in recent years. Therefore, this article reviews the research status of stroke health management in China, and put forward reflections and suggestions for future research and clinical practice. This literature review can provide reference for stroke health management in China.

China is currently experiencing rapid population aging,leading to a significant expansion of the elderly demographic.This aging process is accompanied by cognitive,motor,and sensory function decline and diseases,resulting in an increasing number of elderly individuals with disabilities.To address this challenge,extended reality technology offers a personalized,motivating,and human-computer interactive training environment that can effectively tackle the obstacles hindering active health and disability prevention in the elderly,such as inadequate infrastructure and motivation.This review summarized the current research status and effectiveness of extended reality technology in preventing disability among the elderly.Additionally,the review discusses the limitations and future prospects of extended reality technology in the context of elderly disability prevention,aiming to provide guidance for preventing disability in the elderly and promoting healthy aging.

Objective:To explore the classifications and home care work situation of community nurses engaged in home care community health service center of Shanghai.Methods:From May to October 2014, we selected three community health service centers in Jing'an District (former Zhabei District) , Yangpu District and Pudong New District by purposive sampling to carry out the field observation. The observation contents were the classifications and home care work situation of community nurses engaged in home care. We implemented the qualitative codes and work analysis for the results.Results:Among three community health service centers, the classifications of community nurses engaged in home care included three kinds, the community health service center site nurses, home care nurses and assistants of general practitioner. Among three community health service centers, the number of community nurses was 17, 53 and 21 respectively; the number of community nurses per thousand population was 0.44‰, 0.44‰ and 0.18‰ respectively. The number of nurses engaged in home care was 5, 10 and 7 respectively; the number of home nurses per thousand population was 0.13‰, 0.08‰ and 0.06‰ respectively. Within 40 work hours per week, the time of home care of community nurses occupied from 2.95% to 76.08% (1.18 to 30.43 h) . The ecological structure of community nurses engaged in home care consisted of the micro-system, medium-system, outer-system and macro-system.Conclusions:In Shanghai, community nurses participated in home care are role confusion, insufficient, with uneven time allocation, and facing more complex work ecological structure, which points out that the development of home nurses human resources brooks no delay and professional role of home nurses should be urgently established.

The education of postgraduate nursing is the highest level in nursing education system.Innovative capability cultivation is the core of postgraduate nursing education,as well as an important measurement index of education quality.How to reform and innovate teaching methods and foster highly specialized clinical talents based on their characteristics has been the focus of attention and exploration.This article aims to explore the methods of innovative talent cultivation of postgraduate nursing from the following several aspects about constructing innovative curriculum system,creating first-class tutor team,promoting scientific research ability,forming innovative postgraduate cultivation pattern and intensifying the scholarly communication.

Objective To explore the evolution of research themes and trends in China's nursing college education during the last decade.Methods A co-word analysis of keywords was performed in the research literatures around nursing college education from two Chinese databases,VIP China Science and Technology Journal Database and CKNI Periodical Full-text Database,between 2003 and 2012.The analysis was based on two different periods (phase Ⅰ from 2003 to 2007 and phase Ⅱ from 2008 to 2012).Results A total of 646 articles were included,with 287 articles published in phase Ⅰ and 359 articles in phase Ⅱ.Sixteen high-frequency keywords were identified during the phase Ⅰ,with seventeen during the phase Ⅱ.Two research themes,nursing student-training model and construction and reform of curriculum,were presented in both phases.However,some differences in research sub-themes exited between phase Ⅰ and phase Ⅱ.Conclusions Hot research topics in nursing college education seemed no change in the past ten years.School-hospital collaboration newly emerged as a hot topic in the field of nurse education research.The research on construction and reform of curriculum change its focus to nursing courses and humanities courses.The academic studies of nursing college education were mostly influenced and pushed by reforming and developing of nursing education.
