1.Observation on the Effect of Huangqi Danggui Compound Decoction Combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy in the Treatment of Postpartum Low Back Pain of Qi-Blood Depletion Type

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Huangqi Danggui Compound Decoction(mainly composed of Astragali Radix,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,etc.)combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy in the treatment of postpartum low back pain due of qi and blood depletion type.Methods A total of 138 patients diagnosed with postpartum low back pain from March 2021 to February 2024 in the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the study subjects.The patients were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table,with 69 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Ibuprofen Sustained-Release Capsules combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy,while the observation group was additionally treated with Astragalus and Angelica Compound Decoction on the basis of the control group's treatment.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.After treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated.The changes in Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores before and after treatment,as well as the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale scores,were observed.The changes in follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and estradiol(E2)levels were compared before and after treatment,and the safety and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated.Results(1)The total effective rate in the observation group was 92.75%(64/69),while it was 79.71%(55/69)in the control group.The efficacy of the observation group was superior to that of the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(2)After treatment,the ODI and VAS scores of both groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in ODI and VAS scores compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(3)After treatment,the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale scores of both groups improved significantly(P<0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in SF-36 scores compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).(4)After treatment,the FSH,LH,and E2 levels in the observation group were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the observation group showed significantly better improvement in FSH,LH,and E2 levels compared to the control group,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).In the control group,the FSH,LH,and E2 levels improved slightly,but there was no statistically significant difference compared to before treatment(P>0.05).(5)There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Huangqi Danggui Compound Decoction combined with Shi's Acupuncture Therapy in the treatment of postpartum low back pain due to qi and blood depletion can significantly alleviate pain symptoms,improve lumbar function,regulate sex hormone levels,and enhance the quality of life of patients,with significant efficacy and good safety.
2.Influences of hot compress of aconite tincture combined with medium frequency electrotherapy in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain

Objective To explore the effects of hot compress by aconite tincture combined with medium-frequency electrotherapy on lumbar spine function, lumbar muscle endurance, and inflammatory factors in patients with chronic non-specific low back pain. Methods A total of 120 patients with chronic non-specific low back pain were randomly divided into two groups, with 60 patients in each group. The control group was treated with medium-frequency electrotherapy, while the research group was treated with aconite tincture hot compress based on the treatment of the control group. The symptom improvement, lumbar spine function, lumbar muscle endurance, and serum inflammatory factor levels after treatment were compared between the two groups. Objective To observe the effect ofTripterygium Wilfordii Hook. F. andTripterygium Hypoglaucum (Lévl.) Hutch on macrophage inflammatory factor, and to provide the oretical basis and experimental basis for the clinical application of these drugs.Methods Two batches ofTripterygium Wilfordii Hook. F. andTripterygium Hypoglaucum (Lévl.) Hutch were collected, and then the samples turned into alcohol extract by extraction and isolation. The IC50values of alcohol extracts were measured by MTT in BMDM cell. BMDM cell induced by the 4 batches of samples with IC50, then IL-6, IL-10, iNOS were detected by Elisa. Results The content of IL-6 (5.08 ± 0.96 pg/ml, 6.24 ± 0.20 pg/mlvs. 7.92 ± 0.84 pg/ml) and iNOS (0.14 ± 0.04 ng/ml, 0.36 ± 0.11 ng/mlvs. 0.86 ± 0.13 ng/ml) in Anhui and Guizhou groups were significantly lower than sulfasalazine (P<0.05), and the content of IL-10 (21.20 ± 4.24 pg/ml, 26.49 ± 4.44 pg/mlvs. 9.06 ± 0.40 pg/ml) in Anhui and Guizhou groups were significantly higher than sulfasalazine (P<0.05). The content of IL-6 (4.22 ± 0.38 pg/ml, 4.55 ± 0.44 pg/mlvs. 7.92 ± 0.84 pg/ml) and iNOS (0.07 ± 0.04 ng/ml, 0.28 ± 0.10 ng/mlvs. 0.86 ± 0.13 ng/ml) in Hunan and Zhejiang groups were significantly lower than sulfasalazine (P<0.05) .Conclusion The anti-inflammatory effect ofTripterygium WilfordiiHook. F. treat rheumatoid arthritis is better than sulfasalazine andTripterygium Hypoglaucum (Lévl.) Hutch.
4.Efficacy of Berberine Hydrochloride Tablet in the Treatment of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease:A Me-ta-analysis

OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the efficacy of Berberine hydrochloride tablet in the treatment of non-alco-holic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),and provide evidence-based reference for the clinical treatment. METHODS:Retrieved from CJFD,Wanfang Database,VIP,CBM and PubMed,observational studies about Berberine hydrochloride tablet in the treatment of NAFLD were collected. After data extraction and quality evaluation,Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.3 statistics software. RESULTS:A total of 6 studies were included,involving 294 patients. Results of Meta-analysis showed Berberine hydro-chloride tablet could significantly reduce the levels of AST[WMD=18.97,95%CI(2.25,35.70),P=0.03],ALT[WMD=31.04, 95%CI(7.17,54.91),P=0.01],TG[WMD=1.07,95%CI(0.39,1.74),P=0.002] and TC[WMD=1.31,95%CI(0.79,1.84),P<0.001] in the serum of patients with NAFLD. There were significant differences. CONCLUSIONS:Berberine hydrochloride tablet can significantly improve the liver function and blood lipid levels of patients with NAFLD,and the clinical efficacy is relatively pre-cise. Due to the limit of methodological quality,it remains to be further verified by large-scale and high quality RCT.
5.The effect of different regions of Tripterygium Hypoglaucum (Lévl.) Hutch on macrophage inflammatory factor

Objective To observe the effect of different regions of tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch on macrophage inflammatory factor, and to providetheoretical basis and experimental basis for the clinical application of tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch. Methods 5 batches of tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch were collected, then the samples turned into alcohol extract by extraction and isolation. The IC50 values of alcohol extracts were measured by MTT in BMDM cell. B MDM cell were induced by the 5 batches of samples with IC50, then IL-6, IL-10, iNOS were detected by Elisa. The efficacy of different regions of tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch on macrophage inflammatory factor was evaluated by comparison with sulfasalazine. Results The content of IL-6 (4.22 ± 0.38 pg/ml, 4.55 ± 0.44 pg/ml vs.7.92 ± 0.84 pg/ml) and iNOS (0.07 ± 0.04 ng/ml, 0.28 ± 0.10 ng/ml vs. 0.86 ± 0.13 ng/ml) in HuNan and ZheJiang groups were significantly lower than sulfasalazine (P<0.05), and the content of IL-10 (19.34 ± 6.06 pg/ml, 24.34 ± 3.03 pg/ml vs. 9.06 ± 0.40 pg/ml) in Guizhou and Fujian groups were higher than sulfasalazine (P<0.05). Conclusion The anti-inflammatory effect of HuNan and ZheJiang's tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch treat rheumatoid arthritis is better than sulfasalazine, so theyaregenuine regional drug in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Additional research will analyze associations between tripterygium hypoglaucum (Lévl.) hutch and rheumatoid arthritis.
6.Experimental study on characteristics of craniocerebral injury caused by handgun bullet impacting on bulletproof helmet

Objective To study the characteristics of craniocerebral injury caused by the handgun bullet impacting on the bulletproof helmet.Methods Fourteen healthy landrace pigs were involved and randomly divided into injury group(n =9)and control group(n =5).The landrace pigs of the injury group were shot vertically on the head under the protection of helmet plate with 9 mm handgun bullet at velocity of 360 m/s.While the landrace pigs of the control group were dealt with the same process as the injury group except for use of unarmed handgun bullet of the same ammunition dose.The changes of vital sign in the early period and the retina injury at two hours after injury were observed.Porcine cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)at pre-injury and at three hours post-injury were obtained for investigating the levels of neuron specific enolase(NSE)andαⅡ-spectrin protein.Then,the landrace pigs were sacrificed and dissected to examine the general morphological changes of the brain.The brain cortex was taken,fixed and stained with hematoxylin-eosin for microscopic observation.Results The landrace pigs in the injury group manifested decrease of the blood pressure and increase of the heart rate and respiratory rate in the early stage after injury.General morphological observation found retinal hemorrhage(3/9),skull fracture(3/9)and brain surface damage including local impact lesion(9/9)and contrecoup lesion(9/9),with severe impact lesion than contrecoup lesion.Optical microscopic observation revealed acute injury of the cerebral cortex neuron both on the impact and contrecoup locations.The concentrations of NSE and αⅡ-spectrinwere significantly increased in CSF three hours after injury(P < 0.05).Conclusions The handgun bullet impacts on the pig head protected by the bulletproof helmet may induce blunt craniocerebral injury in the early period,with severe impact lesion than contrecoup lesion.Therefore,traumatic brain injury of the soldiers armed with the helmets should be stressed and managed early.
7.Determination of Bis-(5-formyl-furfuryl)-ether and 2,4-Dihydroxy-6-methoxy-3-methyl-acetophenone in the Root of Yuexiandaji(Euphorbia ebracteolata) by HPLC

An HPLC method for the quantitative analysis of bis (5-formyl-furfuryl ) -ether an d 2, 4-dihydroxy-6- methoxy-3-methyl- acetophenone in Chinese drug,Langduc (Euphorbia ebracteolata)was developed. The solvent system used was methanol-water-10% acid (45 : 55 : 2 ) (adjusted to pH 5.4 by 10% ammonia ) on ODS columm at 289nm.Tetrahydro palmatine was used as an internal standard. The operation can be completed in 30min.This method is sensitive,simple and accurate with good reproducibility.It can be applied to the quality control of the crude drug of E. ebracteolata.
