Visualization analysis was performed using CiteSpace, VOSviewer and Tableau Desktop. ResultsA total of 437 literatures were included, and the annual number of publications showed an overall increasing trend. The United States ranked first in the number of publications; Graz University of Technology was the institution with the highest number of publication; Gernot R Mueller-Putz was the most productive author, while Jonathan R Wolpaw was the most cited author. Brain-computer interface and artificial intelligence were identified as the high-frequency and bursting keywords in this field. The researches were characterized by the cross-integration of five core disciplines: neuroscience and rehabilitation medicine, biomedical engineering, computer science and artificial intelligence, neurophysiology, and materials science. ConclusionResearches on BCI in SCI treatment are accelerating continuously, and technological integration is becoming the core trend.

Objective To analyze the diagnosis of occupational radiation diseases in Hubei Province, China between 1986 and 2021, and to assess the occupational health risks of radiation workers in Hubei Province. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the diagnosis institutions, diagnosis case characteristics, and typical problems encountered in the diagnosis process of occupational radiation diseases in Hubei Province between 1986 and 2021. The findings were analyzed and discussed in conjunction with current occupational disease diagnosis standards and relevant regulations. Results There are currently 3 authorized occupational radiation disease diagnosis institutions in Hubei Province, with a total of 14 diagnostic physicians. Among them, 9 (64.3%) have senior professional titles and 12 (85.7%) possess postgraduate degrees; however, only one has a professional background in radiological medicine. From 1986 to 2021, a total of 139 cases of occupational radiation diseases were diagnosed. Chronic radiation sickness from external exposure accounted for 40.3%, radiation-induced cataract for 21.6%, and radiation-induced tumors for 18.7%. Among all cases, 81.4% were engaged in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology, 3.1% were engaged in radiotherapy, and 3.1% were engaged in nuclear medicine. Diagnosed cases were primarily concentrated among medical radiation workers, especially those involved in X-ray diagnosis. Issues identified during the diagnosis process included illegal acceptance of subjects, non-standard dosage estimation, and illegal procedures. Conclusion The incidence of occupational radiation diseases in Hubei Province showed a declining trend. The diagnosis of occupational radiation diseases needs to be improved, and the occupational health management of key radiation workers should be further strengthened.

Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of rhubarb Tangluo pill on liver injury in type 2 diabetic rats.Methods ZDF(fa/fa)rats were given high-fat diet to induce type 2 diabetes model,and were randomly divided into model group,positive control group(0.18 g·kg-1 metformin)and experimental-L,-M,-H groups(0.54,1.08 and 2.16 g·kg-1 rhubarb Tangluo pill),with 8 rats in each group.Eight ZDF(fa/+)rats were selected as control group.The control group and model group were given equal volume of pure water once a day for 12 weeks.An oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT)was performed after administration.Fasting blood glucose level,body mass and liver mass of rats were measured and liver index was calculated.The contents of glutamic-pyruvic transaminase(GPT),glutamic oxalacetic transaminase(GOT),triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)in serum were detected.The histomorphologic changes of liver were observed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining and Masson staining.The protein expression of phosphorylated insulin receptor substrate 1(p-IRS1),phosphorylated protein kinase B(p-Akt)and glucose transporter 4(GLUT4)were detected by Western blotting.Results After administration,the fasting blood glucose levels of control group,model group,positive control group and experimental-H group were(4.71±0.45),(29.9±2.97),(15.28±4.52)and(13.84±1.55)mmol·L-1,respectively;the liver index were 2.31±0.46,4.03±0.18,3.37±0.23 and 3.38±0.24;the relative expression level of p-IRS1 protein were 1.00±0.36,4.00±0.11,1.62±0.27 and 1.90±0.17,respectively;the relative expression levels of p-Akt protein were 1.00±0.25,0.21±0.04,0.73±0.15 and 0.54±0.04,respectively;GLUT4 protein relative expression levels were 1.00±0.11,0.40±0.08,0.86±0.04 and 0.70±0.06,respectively.Compared with the model group,the above indexes in the experimental-H group were statistically significant(P＜0.01,P＜0.05).Conclusion Rhubarb Tanglu pill can effectively improve glycolipid metabolism and liver injury in type 2 diabetes mellitus,and its mechanism may be related to the activation of IRS1/Akt signaling pathway.

The pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM)is complex.Autophagy plays a pivotal role in the development of DCM,and whether its level is stable or not is closely related to the development of the course of DCM.Numerous active components found in traditional Chinese medicines and compound formulations have demonstrated the ability to modulate autophagy levels.These interventions occur through various mechanisms,such as hypoglycemic,anti-apoptotic,anti-inflammatory,and anti-oxidative stress pathways.By mitigating autophagy-induced myocardial damage,enhancing cardiac function,and slowing the progression of DCM,these compounds offer promising avenues for DCM management.This paper aims to consolidate and present research findings from the last 5 years.Our goal is to provide valuable insights and references for the research,development,and clinical application of Chinese medicine in the context of combating DCM.

Purpose::Head injury criterion (HIC) companied by a rotation-based metric was widely believed to be helpful for head injury prediction in road traffic accidents. Recently, the Euro-New Car Assessment Program utilized a newly developed metric called diffuse axonal multi-axis general evaluation (DAMAGE) to explain test device for human occupant restraint (THOR) head injury, which demonstrated excellent ability in capturing concussions and diffuse axonal injuries. However, there is still a lack of comprehensive understanding regarding the effectiveness of using DAMAGE for Hybrid III 50th percentile male dummy (H50th) head injury assessment. The objective of this study is to determine whether the DAMAGE could capture the risk of H50th brain injury during small overlap barrier tests.Methods::To achieve this objective, a total of 24 vehicle crash loading curves were collected as input data for the multi-body simulation. Two commercially available mathematical dynamic models, namely H50th and THOR, were utilized to investigate the differences in head injury response. Subsequently, a decision method known as simple additive weighting was employed to establish a comprehensive brain injury metric by incorporating the weighted HIC and either DAMAGE or brain injury criterion. Furthermore, 35 sets of vehicle crash test data were used to analyze these brain injury metrics.Results::The rotational displacement of the THOR head is significantly greater than that of the H50th head. The maximum linear and rotational head accelerations experienced by H50th and THOR models were (544.6 ± 341.7) m/s 2, (2468.2 ± 1309.4) rad/s 2 and (715.2 ± 332.8) m/s 2, (3778.7 ± 1660.6) rad/s 2, respectively. Under the same loading condition during small overlap barrier (SOB) tests, THOR exhibits a higher risk of head injury compared to the H50th model. It was observed that the overall head injury response during the small overlap left test condition is greater than that during the small overlap right test. Additionally, an equation was formulated to establish the necessary relationship between the DAMAGE values of THOR and H50th. Conclusion::If H50th rather than THOR is employed as an evaluation tool in SOB crash tests, newly designed vehicles are more likely to achieve superior performance scores. According to the current injury curve for DAMAGE and brain injury criterion, it is highly recommended that HIC along with DAMAGE was prioritized for brain injury assessment in SOB tests.

Previous studies have found that As2 O3 can interfere with serum thyroid hormone TH levels in rats and cause chronic liver damage,but the mechanism remains unclear.In order to ex-plore the role of TH signaling pathway in As2 O3-induced chronic liver injury,qRT-PCR and West-ern blot techniques were used to detect the expression changes of genes and protein of TRβ1(a key regulator of TH signaling pathway in rat liver)and cyclin D1(the downstream factor of TRβ1 in nuclear pathway).Meanwhile,the changes in the protein of key factors(Bax,Bcl-2)of the TH sig-nal nuclear outside pathway were detected.The results indicated that:after As2 O3 treatment for 110 days,compared with the control group,the expression of TRβ1 protein in the liver of female mice significantly decreased(P＜0.01),the expression of cyclin D1 significantly increased in the 0.1 and 0.2 mg/L groups(P＜0.01).Meanwhile,the expression of TRβ1 protein in male mice sig-nificantly decreased in 0.4 mg/L group(P＜0.01),and the expression of cyclin D1 in each group significantly increased(P＜0.01).The mRNA expression results were basically the same as those of protein expression.After As2 O3 treatment for 194 days,compared with the control group,the expression of TRβ1 protein in each group significantly decreased(P＜0.01),and the expression of cyclin D1 significantly increased(P＜0.01).The mRNA expression results were basically consist-ent with the protein.As2 O3 interfered with the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax proteins in rats and in-duced the increase in the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax protein as the action time increased.Among them,the Bcl-2/Bax ratio of female rats in each group and male rats in the 0.4 mg/L group significantly in-creased(P＜0.01),and male rats in the 0.1 mg/L group significantly increased(P＜0.05).It shows that As2O3 can cause abnormal levels of TRβ1,cyclin D1 and the Bcl-2/Bax ratio in rat liv-er.

Objective:To compare the diagnostic efficacy of 22 G fine needle aspiration (FNA) needles and 22 G end-cutting fine needle biopsy (FNB) needles for solid pancreatic lesion using both cytological and histological examination.Methods:Clinical data of 116 patients who underwent endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration/biopsy (EUS-FNA/FNB) at the Digestive Endoscopy Center of Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from June 2022 to March 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Sixty-three patients sampled with 22 G FNA needles were the FNA group, and 53 sampled with 22 G FNB needles were the FNB group. The diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, and cytological and histological diagnostic yield of FNA needles and FNB needles for solid pancreatic lesions were compared.Results:There were no significant differences in age, gender, lesion location, lesion size, or the number of passes between the FNA group and the FNB group ( P>0.05). There were no significant differences in the diagnostic accuracy [93.7% (59/63) VS 90.6% (48/53), P=0.730], sensitivity [93.0% (53/57) VS 90.2% (46/51), P=0.732], specificity [100.0% (6/6) VS 100.0% (2/2), P=1.000], positive predictive value [100.0% (53/53) VS 100.0% (46/46), P=1.000] and negative predictive value [60.0% (6/10) VS 28.6% (2/7), P=0.335] of combined cytology and histology in distinguishing benign and malignant lesions between the two groups. In the FNA group, the diagnostic accuracy of combined cytology and histology was higher than cytology alone [93.7% (59/63) VS 81.0% (51/63), P=0.008], and was higher than histology alone without statistical significance [93.7% (59/63) VS 87.3% (55/63), P=0.125]. In the FNB group, the diagnostic accuracy of combined cytology and histology was higher than cytology alone [90.6% (48/53) VS 69.8% (37/53), P=0.001], but not than histology alone [90.6% (48/53) VS 90.6% (48/53)， P=1.000]. For solid masses located in pancreatic body/tail, the diagnostic accuracy for malignancy by histology using FNB needles tended to be higher than that of FNA needles [100.0% (17/17) VS 81.3% (26/32), P=0.080]. Conclusion:Both FNA needles and FNB needles exhibit adequate diagnostic yield for solid pancreatic masses when combining cytology and histology. FNB needles may offer a higher histological diagnostic yield.

Objective To analyze the problems and solutions in the diagnosis of a patient with occupational radiogenic neoplasms. Methods The dose conversion method was selected in dose estimation. Personal dose equivalent, skin absorbed dose, and reported detection data were converted into red bone marrow absorbed dose. The upper 95% confidence limit of the probability of causation (PC 95%) was calculated. Results The PC 95% of cancer due to radiation in the worker was 66.38%, which suggested occupational radiogenic neoplasms. Personal dose data were missing in dose estimation. The current dose estimation standard lacked bedside radiography and CT operation type, and the dose conversion formula was not perfect. Conclusion In the judgment of occupational radiogenic neoplasms, the estimated dose showed uncertainty. There is an urgent need to formulate and promulgate dose estimation standards that are operational and in line with the current development of radiological diagnosis and treatment technology and equipment.
