Endoplasmic reticulum(ER)is the predominant membrane structure in eukaryotic cells and is a key or-ganelle for the occurrence of important intracellular physiological processes.Under the action of various internal and ex-ternal factors, the homeostasis of ER is disrupted to block protein processing and transport, and the accumulation of unfol-ded or misfolded proteins in the ER lumen, forms endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)and triggers the unfolded protein re-sponse(UPR).Moderate ERS reduces protein synthesis, promotes protein degradation, and increases molecular chaper-ones that assist protein folding through the UPR signaling pathway, ultimately relieving ER stress. However,if the ERS is too strong or prolonged and exceeds the cell's ability to regulate itself, the UPR can initiate apoptosis and lead to diseases.Numerous studies have shown that ERS is closely associated with the development of several cardiovascular diseases(CVD).This review focuses on the research progress of UPR in several common types of CVD and targets UPR as a po-tential therapeutic approach for CVD.

This study aims to investigate the protective effect of resveratrol against liver injury in hindlimb unloading rats. Thirty 2-month-old male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group (Control), hindlimb unloading model group (Model), and hindlimb unloading+resveratrol administration group (Model+Res). The Model + Res group was injected intraperitoneally with 30 mg/kg of resveratrol, and the Control and Model groups were injected intraperitoneally with an equal volume of 0.9% NaCl. Liver tissues were collected after 28 days and analyzed for oxidative stress, inflammatory factors, energy metabolism indices, Na +-K +-ATPase and Ca 2+-Mg 2+-ATPase activity, and morphological changes were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The protein expression levels of Bax, Bcl-2, p-PI3K, PI3K, p-AKT, and AKT were detected by Western blotting. Compared with the Control group, hepatocytes in the Model group showed swelling, abnormal morphology, nuclear consolidation, and cell membrane disruption. Oxidative stress, inflammatory factor levels, hepatic glycogen accumulation, and energy metabolism were increased in the liver tissues of the Model group, while resveratrol treatment significantly reversed these changes. The results of Western blotting showed that resveratrol significantly reduced the expression of Bax and increased the expression levels of Bcl-2, and the proteins of p-PI3K/PI3K and p-AKT/AKT expression levels. It is suggested that 28 days of hindlimb unloading treatment could lead to liver tissue injury in rats, which is manifested as oxidative stress, inflammatory response, energy metabolism disorder and increased apoptosis level, and resveratrol has a certain mitigating effect on this.

Objective:
To observe the safety and efficiency of face-lift combined with fat grafting in facial rejuvenation.
Methods:
We performed a retrospective study, which included 23 patients. SMAS suspension and multi-site suspension were combined to correct the nasolabial fold, mid-cheek aging and malar mounds. Structural fat grafting was performed to treat the volume loss in mid-face.
Results:
All patients demonstrated a significant improvement in midfacial appearance. No infection or nerve injury were found in this study. Only three patients did not get primary healing in temple region, which led to temporal hair loss from secondary healing.
Conclusions
This study demonstrates that fat grafting and multiple layers face-lift are efficient method for facial rejuvenation. These approaches appear to be very promising for facial anti-aging techniques.

Objective To study the postmortem distribution of Bromadiolone and its metabolite-Benzylideneacetone in dogs and provide an experimental evidence for the sampling of Bromadiolone poisoning cases. Methods The dogs were given 2LD50 and 4LD50 Bromadiolone by intragastric administration. Anatomy was conducted immediately after death and samples of body fluids and viscera (heart blood; peripheral blood, bile, urine, heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, brain, urinary bladder, left leg muscle, stomach, stomach contents, pancreas) were collected and detected after the dogs poisoning death. The Bromadiolon and its metabolite-Benzylideneacetone contents in samples were analyzed by GC/MS. Results Hemorrhagic symptoms came out at 3d after Bromadiolone delivery and deaths occurred at (178.40±20.94)h after intoxication. The postmortem distribution of Bromadiolon and its metabolite-Benzylideneacetone in dogs was as following: 2LD50 Bromadiolon: bile>urine, liver, heart, kidney>heart blood, peripheral blood, spleen, lung and so on. Benzylideneacetone: the content in bile, urine, heart blood, peripheral blood, lung, stomach contents are higher. 4LD50 Bromadiolon: bile, urine>liver, peripheral blood>heart blood, stomach contents and others. Benzylideneacetone:contents in bile, urine and lung are higher. Conclusion The postmortem distribution of Bromadiolon and its metabolite-Benzylideneacetone in dogs is uneven, contents in bile, urine, liver, heart blood and peripheral blood are higher, whichare suggested for forensic toxicological analysis in Bromadiolon poisonig case.
