Professor YIN Kejing's academic thoughts and clinical experience in treating lateral epicondylitis using classical acupuncture techniques are introduced. Professor YIN Kejing believes that the onset of lateral epicondylitis is due to external pathogenic factors and internal overstrain, leading to a pathological mechanism of muscular tension, meridian obstruction, and qi-blood stasis, resulting in disharmony between nutritive qi and defensive qi. Treatment should adhere to the principles of disease pathogenesis, with meticulous diagnosis and emphasis on relaxing tendons, relieving muscular tension, dredging meridians, and regulating nutritive qi and defensive qi. Based on the theories of yin-yang balance, nutritive qi and defensive qi regulation, and the collateral connection of meridians, the treatment involves selecting positive muscular reaction points, the five-shu points of the related meridians, and collateral connection points. Classical acupuncture techniques, including floating needling, guan needling, three-needle needling, cross-needling, and through-needling, are applied to stimulate defensive qi, regulate nutritive qi, facilitate the transmission of meridian qi, and adjust tendon qi. This approach effectively relieves muscular tension, alleviates pain, restores function, and rebalances yin and yang. The treatment is characterized by precise acupoint selection, distinctive features, and remarkable efficacy.

This paper summarized the clinical experience in the treatment of hemiplegia after stroke based on the theory of “sanjiao （三焦）-original yang". It is believed that original yang， distributed throughout the body through sanjiao， warms the zang-fu （脏腑） organs and tissues. The key pathogenesis of hemiplegia after stroke is original yang depletion and disturbance of sanjiao. The treatment principle should be reinforcing and assisting original yang， and regulating qi movement of sanjiao. The main acupoints selected should be Baihui （GV 20）， Shenting （GV 24）， Touwei （ST 8）， Sanyangluo （SJ 8）， Jiuwei （CV 15）， Qichong （ST 30）， Yanglingquan （GB 34）， Xuanzhong （GB 39） and Shenmai （BL 62）. Clinically， according to the clinical manifestations of hemiplegia in the flaccid and spastic stages and the differentiated syndromes and symptoms， acupoints can be modified， and different acupuncture techniques can be used to dredge and unblock the channels and collaterals.

Epilepsy patients are prone to obesity and metabolic syndrome(MetS),which is a higher risk than the general population.Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is a manifestation of a metabolic syndrome,characterized by hepatic steatosis,which can be exacerbated to some extent in patients with epilepsy.Sodium valproate(VPA),a commonly used clinical antiepileptic drug,leads to triglyceride accumulation in liver cells and induces a risk of NAFLD.In adults with epilepsy combined with NAFLD,treatment with VPA can make the liver,which is already affected by steatosis,more sensitive to VPA-induced liver injury and affect VPA drug metabolism.Both VPA and NAFLD induce hepatic steatosis,and can exacerbate each other's induced hepatic steatosis synergistically during epilepsy treatment.In this paper,we reviewed the progress of clinical studies on the use of VPA in adult patients with epilepsy combined with NAFLD to provide references for effective treatment and future studies of VPA.

Objective: To establish a prediction model for infectious disease index（IDI）by autoregressive integrated moving average（ARIMA）,and to provide forcast of infectious diseases to the public. Methods: The data of the percentage of influenza-like illness（ILI）,the incidence rates of hand-foot-mouth disease（HFMD）and other infectious diarrhea（OID）from the 1st week of 2014 to the 14th week of 2018,and Breteau index（BI）from the 1st week of 2016 to the 14th week of 2018 were collected. ARIMA models were built to predict the risk indicators of ILI,HFMD,OID and BI. The weights of the four indicators were evaluated seasonally by the entropy weight method. Then the IDI was calculated and the data of ILI,HFMD, OID and BI from 15th to 19th week in 2018 was used for verification. Results: The forecast was in summer,so IDI=ROUND（0.33×risk index of ILI percentage +0.47×risk index of HFMD incidence +0.10×risk index of OID incidence+0.10×risk index of BI）. The predicted IDI would be 2（less safe）in the whole city and Xiangzhou District,and 1（safe）in Doumen District and Jinwan District. The consistency rates of IDI prediction was 97.50%,95.00%,97.50%,85.00% and 77.50% from 15th to 19th week in 2018,respectively. Conclusion It was feasible to use IDI for short-term risk prediction of infectious diseases.
