Objective:To compare the efficacy of Union Plate combined with robotic placement of infra-acetabular and posterior column screws and common reconstruction plate combined with freehand placement of infra-acetabular and posterior column screws in the treatment of complex acetabular fractures.Methods:The data of 42 patients with complex acetabular fractures treated in Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from June 2020 to June 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 22 patients were treated with Union Plate combined with robotic placement of posterior column screws and infra-acetabular screws (Union Plate robot group). 20 cases were treated with common reconstruction plate combined with posterior column screw and infra-acetabular screw fixation by hand (reconstruction plate freehand group). The Union Plate robot group included 16 males and 6 females, aged 43.7±11.6 years (range, 24-67 years). Letournel-Judet classification: 14 cases of double-column fractures, 5 cases of anterior column with posterior semi-transverse fractures, 3 cases of "T" -shaped fractures. There were 15 males and 5 females in the reconstruction plate freehand group, aged 42.9±12.0 years (range, 22-66 years). Letournel-Judet classification: 15 cases of double-column fractures, 3 cases of anterior column with posterior semi-transverse fractures, 2 cases of "T" -shaped fractures. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, intraoperative fluoroscopy times, frame screw placement time, fracture healing time, perfect frame screw placement rate (grade 0 rate) assessed according to the Lonstein criteria, reduction quality assessed according to the Matta criteria, the modified Merle d'Aubign-Postel score and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results:All 42 patients were followed up for 10 to 30 months, with an average of 13 months. The fracture healing time was 3.4±0.4 months in the Union Plate robot group and 3.6±0.4 months in the reconstruction plate freehand group, with no statistical significance ( t=2.179, P=0.035). The operative time and intraoperative blood loss of the Union Plate robot group were 138.3±30.7 min and 735.7±159.8 ml, respectively, which were lower than 163.9±48.7 min and 843.5±181.1 ml in the reconstruction plate freehand group. The differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). The time and intraoperative fluoroscopy times of the Union Plate robot group were 19.9±3.2 min and 17.1±4.9 times, respectively, which were less than 42.5±6.7 min and 45.4±4.9 times of the reconstruction plate freehand group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). According to the Lonstein evaluation, there were 42 cases of class 0 and 2 cases of class I in the Union Plate robot group, and the perfect frame screw placement rate was 96%(42/44). There were 30 cases of grade 0, 8 cases of grade I and 2 cases of grade II in the reconstruction plate freehand group, and the perfect frame screw placement rate was 75%(30/40). There was significant difference between the two groups (χ 2=7.426, P=0.024). According to the Matta criteria, 15 cases of Union Plate robot group were excellent, 4 cases were good, and 3 cases were poor, with an excellent and good rate of 86%(19/22). In the reconstruction plate free hand group, 13 cases were excellent, 4 cases were good, and 3 cases were poor, with an excellent and good rate of 85%(17/20). There was no significant difference between the two groups (χ 2=0.048, P=0.976). At the last follow-up visit, the modified Merle d'Aubign-Postel score of the Union Plate robot group was 16.9±1.7 points and that of the reconstruction plate freehand group was 16.5±2.2 points, with no statistical significance ( t=0.593, P=0.557). In the Union Plate robot group, wound fat liquefaction and lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury occurred in 1 case, the complication rate was 9%(2/22). There were 4 cases of fat liquefaction, 1 case of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury, and 1 case of traumatic hip arthritis in the reconstruction plate freehand group. The complication rate was 30%(6/20), and the difference in complication rate was not statistically significant (χ 2=1.769, P=0.183). Conclusions:The clinical efficacy of Union Plate combined with robotic placement of posterior column screws and infra-acetabular screws in the treatment of complex acetabular fractures is comparable to that of reconstruction plate combined with freehand placement of posterior column screws and infra-acetabular screws. However, the use of Union Plate combined with robotic placement of frame screws can shorten the operative time and the time of frame screw placement. The amount of intraoperative blood loss and intraoperative fluoroscopy times were reduced, and the accuracy of frame screw placement was higher.

Cerebral palsy in children is a motor developmental disorder caused by non-progressive brain damage occurring prenatally,perinatally,or postnatally,with the spastic type being the most common clinical manifestation.This article systematically introduces Qin Min's academic philosophy in treating spastic cerebral palsy using Lingnan Flying Needle Therapy based on the Inner Canon's theory of"maintaining patency of qi and meridians".It elaborates on the core pathogenesis of"deficiency and stagnation of qi and meridians,leading to malnourishment of tendons and vessels"and the treatment approach of"regulating the conception vessel and governor vessel to unblock qi and meridians".By employing characteristic needling techniques such as Lingnan scalp acupuncture and Lingnan abdominal-back acupuncture,the therapy aims to activate yang qi,regulate and unblock qi and meridians,thereby achieving the goals of nourishing the spirit,softening tendons,and balancing yin and yang,with demonstrated favorable clinical efficacy.

Venous system diseases mainly include varicose veins and venous malformations of lower limbs and the genital system. Most of them are chronic diseases that cause serious clinical symptoms to patients and affect their health and quality of life. Sclerotherapy has become the first-line therapy for venous system diseases. However, there are problems such as incomplete fibrosis and vascular recanalization after sclerotherapy, and improper operation will cause serious adverse consequences. Therefore, exploring a safe and effective sclerotherapy strategy is essential for developing clinically successful sclerotherapy. To solve the above problems, we proposed a new sclerotherapy strategy with a dual mechanism of "vascular damage and plasmin (PLA) system inhibition." We intended to construct a novel cationic surfactant (AEO_x-TA) by reacting tranexamic acid (TA), a parent structure, with fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (AEO_x) by ester bonds. AEO_x-TA could damage vascular endothelium and initiate a coagulation cascade effect to induce thrombus. Furthermore, AEO_x-TA could be degraded by esterase and release the parent drug, TA, which could inhibit the PLA system to inhibit the degradation of thrombus and extracellular matrix and promote the process of vascular fibrosis. In addition, such surfactant-based sclerosants have foam-forming properties, and they can be blended with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to prepare a highly stable foam formulation (AEO_x-TA/P), which can achieve a precise drug delivery and prolonged drug retention time, thereby improving drug efficacy and reducing the risk of ectopic embolism. Overall, the novel cationic surfactant AEO_x-TA provides a new avenue to resolve the bottleneck: surfactant sclerosants' efficiency is relatively low in the current sclerotherapy.

There was significant difference between the two groups (χ 2=7.426, P=0.024). Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of the "frame and buttress" fixation in the treatment of acetabular quadrilateral fractures.Methods:A total of 26 patients with acetabular quadrilateral fractures treated with the "Frame and buttress" fixation strategy (reconstructing frame and providing buttress for quadrilateral surface) from January 2017 to January 2021 were retrospectively analyzed in the Department of Orthopaedics, Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, including 17 males and 9 females, aged 47.7±16.5 years, (range, 25-71 years). There were 13 cases from car accidents, 8 cases from falls, and 5 cases from heavy objects. Quadrilateral fractures were classified according to whether the anterior column (A) and posterior column (P) of the acetabulum were fractured and whether the quadrilateral plate (Q) was partially (1) or completely (2) separated from the two columns. Among these cases, there were 5 cases of type AQ1, 1 case of type AQ2, 1 case of type PQ2, 14 cases of type APQ1 and 5 cases of type APQ2. The "frame and buttress" fixation strategy was used to perform open reduction and internal fixation. The Matta scale was used to assess the quality of resurfacing based on pelvic radiographs, and the Matta modified Merle d'Aubigne and Postel scores were referenced to evaluate hip function.Results:All the 26 patients successfully completed the operation, the operation time was 88.1±57.8 min (range, 90-320 min), the intraoperative bleeding was 753.8±309.5 ml (range, 400-1 400 ml). There were 14 cases of anatomical reduction, 8 cases of satisfactory reduction and 4 cases of unsatisfactory reduction with an excellent rate of 85% (22/26), the excellence rate was 85% (22/26). All patients were followed up for 16.3±4.3 months (range, 12-24 months). The hip function score after operation was higher than that before operation, and the difference was statistically significant ( F=19.80, P<0.001). The hip function score was 13.1±2.2 at 3 months postoperatively, increased to 15.9±2.3 at 6 months postoperatively, and increased to 16.6±1.9 at the last follow-up, with a statistically significant difference ( P<0.001). After operation, 5 patients showed symptoms of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury such as hypoesthesia and numbness in the anterolateral thigh. During the follow-up, there was no ectopic ossification, traumatic arthritis, necrosis of the femoral head and central dislocation of the femoral head. Conclusion:The "frame and buttress" fixation strategy based on quadrilateral fracture typing for acetabular quadrilateral fracture open reduction internal fixation provides strong fixation, satisfactory reduction quality, and facilitates joint function recovery after operation.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 caused by the 2019-nCoV (SARS-CoV-2), with its high pathogenicity and contagiousness, it has posed a serious threat to global public health security. Up to now, the pathogenesis of 2019-nCoV is unclear, and there is no effective treatment. Vaccine as one of the most effective strategies to prevent virus infection has become a hot area. Based on the current understanding of 2019-nCoV, the development of 2019-nCoV vaccines covers all types: inactivated virus vaccine, recombinant protein vaccine, viral vector-based vaccine, mRNA vaccine, and DNA vaccine, etc. In this review, we focus on the candidate targets of the novel coronavirus, and the types, development status and progress of 2019-nCoV vaccines in order to provide information for further research and prevention.

Objective:To explore the occurrence of symptoms in postoperative patients with oral cancer, and to explore the types and number of symptom groups.Methods:The Anderson symptom assessment scale for head and neck cancer was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 345 patients after oral cancer surgery. The results of two exploratory factor analysis methods were compared, and the cluster analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis were combined to determine the symptom group of patients after oral cancer surgery.Results:There were 4 symptom groups in patients with oral cancer, including oral and pharynx symptoms group, dietary and digestive symptoms group, gastrointestinal and emotional symptoms group, and rest activity symptoms group.Conclusions:There are many symptom groups that affect the life of patients with oral cancer in the rehabilitation process after surgery, so the medical staff should carry out targeted intervention mode to achieve better intervention effect.

Objective:To investigate the symptoms of patients with oral cancer during treatment, and explore the types of symptom groups and their correlation with quality of life.Methods:Totally 201 patients with oral cancer after surgery were selected as the subject from a ClassⅢ Grade A hospital using convenient sampling and investigated with the MD Anderson Symptom Inventory for Head and Neck cancer (MDASI-HN) and University of Washington Quality of Life Questionnaire (UW-QOL) , and explore the relationship between them.Results:Totally 189 patients completed the questionnaire. Patients with oral cancer showed many symptoms during the progression and treatment of the disease. Serious symptoms included swallowing, chewing and speaking. Exploratory factor analysis revealed three symptom groups, namely, oral and throat symptom group, drowsiness-digestive tract symptom group, and fatigue-respiratory symptom group. The scores of different dimensions and the total scores of quality of life were negatively correlated with the total scores of the three symptom groups ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:There are multiple symptom groups in patients with oral cancer during postoperative rehabilitation, which seriously affect their quality of life. Medical workers should grasp this characteristic, evaluate symptoms in time, actively manage symptom groups, and improve the quality of life of patients.

Objective: To explore the basic conditions and postoperative quality of life in patients undergoing oral vestibular thyroid surgery. Methods: A total of 128 patients undergoing oral vestibular thyroid surgery were enrolled in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery from March 2015 to April 2018. On the basis of routine thyroid tumor care, we used telephone, WeChat public platform, WeChat group, QQ, and Email. Questionnaires such as information technology and clinic review. Correlation analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0. Results: According to the analysis of SPSS statistical software, the postoperative recovery of the patients is good, and more than 95% of the patients have the feeling of "no" or "a little" for symptoms, and 91.8% (102/111) and 93.6% (104/111) of the patients have the perception of the general health status and life quality of the patients in the past 1 week respectively. Analysis of variance of postoperative life quality of patients, postoperative regression post was significantly correlated with postoperative social cognition, insomnia and economic difficulties of patients. The education level, occupation, marital status and family income of the patients all had significant influences on the postoperative economic status of the patients, and the differences were statistically significant (t=2.66-4.74, P<0.05). In the regression analysis of patients′ life quality, emotional function and physical function were independent risk factors affecting patients′ life quality, with statistical significance (t=-2.072, -5.564, P < 0.05). Conclusion Endoscopic thyroidectomy via oral vestibule has the advantages of good effect, beautiful appearance and high quality of life, which is worth popularizing and applying.

Objective To compare the effects of Huiru Yizeng granules Huiru yizeng original decoctin on hyperplasia of mammary glands with hyperprolactinemia in serum and pathological morphology of mammary glands tissue.Methods Seventy rats were randomly divided into 7 groups:normal control group,model control group,Huiru yizeng granules group,Huiru yizeng original decoctin group,Rubisanjie group,bromocriptine group and accessories group.After sucessfully modeling hyperplasia of mammary glandsin rats with hyperprolactinemia,Huiru yizeng granules group was administrated 17.22 g·kg-1·d-1,Huiru yizeng original decoctin group was administrated 20.08 g·kg-1·d-1,Rubi sanjie group was administrated 0.416 mg·kg-1·d-1,bromocriptine group was administrated 0.393 mg·kg-1·d-1.These groups were intragastric administration 2 mL every day for 30 consecutive days.The morphology of pathological tissue in mammary gland was observed by microscope.The levels of prolactin(PRL),progesterone(P),estradiol(E2) were determined by ELISA kit.Results Compared with the model group,Huiru yizeng granules group[PRL=(22.74±4.74) pg·mL-1,P=(46.91±2.85) ng·mL-1,E2=(99.96±9.61) pg·mL-1],Huiru yizeng original decoction group[PRL=(28.41±6.37) pg·mL-1,P=(43.91±4.17) ng·mL-1,E2=(105.02±3.05) pg·mL-1] and bromocriptine group[PRL=(23.58±4.10) pg·mL-1,P=(45.99±2.95) ng·mL-1,E2=(98.04±9.98) pg·mL-1]showed significant decrease in PRL,E2 levels,obvious increase in P(P<0.01).In Huiru yizeng granules group,Huiru yizeng original decoction group and bromocriptine group,PRL,P,and E2 returned to normal level after 30 days,and hyperplasia of mammary glands tissue had great ease.Huiru yizeng original decoction group was Ⅰ to Ⅱ hyperplasia,and Huiru yizeng granules group was 0 or Ⅰ hyperplasia.Compared with each other,the effect of Huiru yizeng granules on the mammary gland proliferation inhibition was superior to Huiru yizeng original decoction group.Conclusion On the treatment of hyperplasia of mammary glands and hyperprolactinemia,Huiru yizeng granules were better than Huiru yizeng original decoction.
