Objective: To systematically evaluate the association between maternal adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and offspring social behavior, so as to provide a theoretical basis for further research on intergenerational social behavioral development. Methods: Relevant research literature about maternal ACEs and the development of children s maladaptive social behaviors were collected, from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP, Wanfang, SinoMed, PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase and SpringLink databases, covering the period from the inception of each database to May 2025. The Chinese database matched and searched through three groups of keywords: "Pregnant women" "Mothers" and "Women"; "Bad childhood experience" "Bad early experience" and "Bad adolescent experience"; "Children" "Teenagers" "Children s behavior" "Children s development" "Teenagers behavior" "Internalized behavior" and "Externalized behavior". The English database was searched by three groups of keywords: "Female" "Pregnant women" "Mothers"; "Adverse childhood experiences" "Adverse early childhood experiences" "Adverse experiences of adolescent"; "Child behavior" "Child development" "Adolescent behavior" "Internalized behaviors" "Externalized behaviors". The selected literature was evaluated for quality and data extraction, with OR and 95% CI as effect indicators. Stata 16.0 software was used for heterogeneity testing, subgroup analysis, and publication bias analysis. Results: A total of 14 studies involving 64 302 mother-child pairs were included. The Meta analysis results showed a significant correlation between maternal ACEs and both offspring maladaptive internalized behaviors ( OR=1.75, 95%CI=1.42-2.15, P <0.01) and externalized behaviors ( OR=1.82, 95%CI=1.51-2.20, P <0.01). The results of subgroup analyses showed that in different regions[internalized behaviors:domestic, foreign OR (95% CI )=2.03(1.49-2.76), 1.55(1.19-2.03); externalized behaviors: domestic, foreign OR (95% CI )=2.41(1.52-3.82), 1.65(1.36-2.01)], study type[internalized behaviors: cohort study, cross sectional study OR (95% CI )=1.64(1.34-2.00), 1.85(1.30-2.65); externalized behaviors: cohort study, cross sectional study OR (95% CI )=1.76(1.46-2.12), 2.12(1.40-3.20)], sample size [internalized behaviors: ≥4 000, <4 000 pairs OR (95% CI )=1.69(1.13-2.55), 1.77( 1.41 -2.24); externalized behaviors: ≥3 000, <3 000 pairs OR (95% CI )=1.72(1.37-2.17), 2.13(1.44-3.15)], there were significant and positive association between mothers ACEs and children s internalizing and externalizing behaviors (all P <0.05). Conclusion A substantial positive association exists between maternal ACEs and the development of offspring maladaptive internalized and externalized behaviors, but the result needs to be continued to be validated by more research.

Nine compounds were isolated and purified from 90% ethanol extract of Alstonia mairei Lévl by using various chromatographic methods, including silica gel, SephadexLH-20, MCI Gel and ODS column chromatography, combined with semi-preparative liquid phase separation methods. Modern spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D NMR, UV, IR, MS, etc.) were used to identify the structures of the isolated compounds. They were identified as mairoside A (1), 3′,6-di-O-sinaloylsucrose (2), myristic acid (3), methyl myristate (4), ethyl myristate (5), 3,4,5-trimethoxycinnamic acid (6), 3,4,5-trimethoxybenzoic acid (7), vinoline (8), kaempferol-3-O-rutinoside (9), among which compound 1 is a new glycoside, compounds 4 and 5 are new natural products, and the nuclear magnetic data of compound 4 were reported for the first time.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the variability of bone metabolism levels among different populations and its association with knee osteoarthritis (KOA) pain. METHODS: A total of 50 people (control group) who participated in physical examination from January 2023 to June 2023 were selected, including 26 males and 24 females, wtih a mean aged of (52.14±9.04) years old ranging 41 to 65 years old. The other 50 patients with knee osteoarthritis(case group) who attended the outpatient clinic of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Department in the same time period, including 19 males and 31 females, with a mean age of (53.60±7.76) years old ranging 40 to 65 years. The two groups of Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC) and bone metabolism markers, such as 25-hydroxy-cholecalciferol[25(OH)D], β-isomerized typeⅠcollagen C-telopeptide breakdown products (β-CTX), total typeⅠprocollagen N-terminal propeptide (t-PINP), osteocalcin (OC), parathormone (PTH) levels were compared. Pearson correlation analysis was used to compare the correlation between two groups of bone metabolism related markers and WOMAC. RESULTS: The WOMAC score of the case group (39.90±2.34) was higher than that of the control group (3.60±0.57), with significant difference (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups of 25 (OH)D, β-CTX and PTH (P>0.05). The t-PINP and OC of the case group were (62.90±52.40) and (19.88±10.15) ng·ml-1, respectively, and those of the control group were (38.86±10.82) and (14.90±3.62) ng·ml^-1, respectively;the t-PINP and OC of the case group were higher than those of the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that t-PINP was positively correlated with WOMAC pain score in the case group (r²=0.045, P<0.01). CONCLUSION Bone metabolism levels in the serum of patients with knee osteoarthritis are different from those of healthy people, and the difference between OC and t-PINP is the most obvious, and the concentration of t-PINP levels is positively correlated with pain symptoms in patients with KOA. However, the specific mechanism of correlation between the bone metabolism levels of patients with KOA and their pain symptoms needs to be further elucidated by basic experimental research as well as by enlarging the samples.

AIM To investigate the effects of Qifu Yixin Granules on cardiac inflammation in a rat model of heart failure.METHODS The rats were induced into chronic heart failure(CHF)models by 6-week intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin followed by the random assignment of the successful rat models into the model group,the captopril group(22.5 mg/kg),and the low-dose,medium-dose,and high-dose Qifu Yixin Granules groups(2.84,5.67,11.34 g/kg),in contrast to the normal rats of the blank group.The rats had their body weight monitored;their cardiac function assessed by echocardiography;their serum levels of NT-proBNP,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1 and CRP measured by ELISA;their cardiac morphological alterations observed by HE and Masson staining;their cardiac protein expressions of TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB detected by immunohistochemistry and Western blot;and their cardiac mRNA expressions of TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB measured by RT-qPCR.RESULTS Compared to the blank group,the model group exhibited significantly reduced body weight,LVEF and LVFS(P＜0.01),alongside significantly elevated LVEDD,LVESD,and serum concentrations of NT-proBNP,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1 and CRP(P＜0.01).Additionally,the model group displayed greater myocardial inflammatory cell aggregation,increased collagen deposition(P＜0.01);and upregulated myocardial protein and mRNA expressions of TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB(P＜0.01).Compared to the model group,the groups intervened with captopril or medium/high dose Qifu Yixin Granules demonstrated significantly increased body weight,LVEF and LVFS(P＜0.05,P＜0.01);significantly reduced LVEDD,LVESD,and serum levels of the aforementioned indicators(P＜0.05,P＜0.01);mitigated inflammation and collagen deposition(P＜0.05,P＜0.01);and downregulated myocardial protein and mRNA expressions of TLR4,MyD88 and NF-κB(P＜0.05,P＜0.01).CONCLUSION Qifu Yixin Granules attenuate cardiac inflammation and improve cardiac function in doxorubicin-induced CHF rats;this therapeutic effect is mediated by inhibiting the activation of the TLR4/MyD88/NF-κB signaling pathway.

Objective:To evaluate the impact of sutureless approach to the dorsal venous complex(DVC)combined with ro-botic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy on sexual function of patients with prostatic cancer.Methods:This study included 114 prostate cancer patients who underwent robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy at our hospital from January 2021 to January 2024.The patients were randomly divided into a control group(n=57)and an observation group(n=57).The control group re-ceived conventional"figure-of-eight"suture ligation of the dorsal venous complex(DVC),while the observation group underwent di-rect DVC transection using monopolar electrocautery scissors after increasing pneumoperitoneum pressure.Surgical duration,intraopera-tive blood loss,positive surgical margin rates,and positive apical margin rates were recorded.The continence rates and rates of morn-ing erections at 1,3 and 6 months after the operation were compared between groups.Sexual function was assessed pre-operatively and at 6 months post-operation by using the IIEF-5 and PEDT.Results:The operative time in the observation group was significantly lon-ger than that in the control group([115.71±19.42]min vs[103.42±12.78]min,P＜0.05).While no significant differences were observed in intraoperative blood loss,positive surgical margin rate,or positive apical margin rate between the two groups(P＞0.05).At 3 and 6 months after the operation,the observation group exhibited higher urinary continence rates and morning erection re-covery rates compared to the control group(P＜0.05).Furthermore,at 6 months postoperatively,the observation group demonstrated significantly higher IIEF-5 scores and lower PEDT scores than those of control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The use of a suture-less DVC technique in robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy protects the post-operative sexual function in patients.

The chemical constituents from the stems and leaves of Mycetia hainanensis were isolated by silica gel, ODS gel, and Sephadex LH-20 gel column chromatography and preparative HPLC. The chemical structures of all the isolated compounds were identified on the basis of their physicochemical properties, spectroscopic data, as well as the comparison of their physicochemical and spectroscopic data with the reported data in literature. Twelve compounds were isolated from the 85% ethanol extract of the stems and leaves of M. hainanensis, and they were identified as mycehainanic acid(1), 11-methoxyviburtinal(2), isovaltrate acetoxyhydrin(3), jatamanvaltrate K(4), jatamanin C(5), sarmentol F(6), 4,5-dihydroblumenol A(7), petasitolone(8), xylaguaianol D(9), aristolan-9-en-1-one(10), 3α-hydroxycostic acid(11), and ilicic acid(12). Among them, compound 1 was a new nor-sesquiterpene, and compounds 2-12 were isolated from Mycetia for the first time. In addition, the MTS method was employed to assess the anti-rheumatoid arthritis activities of compounds 1-12 based on their anti-proliferative effects on synoviocytes in vitro. The results showed that compounds 1 and 6-12 exhibited notable anti-rheumatoid arthritis activities, showcasing inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MH7A synovial fibroblast cells with the IC_(50) ranging from(5.27±0.07) to(172.68±0.32)μmol·L~(-1), which were comparable to that of the positive control methotrexate \[IC_(50) of(132.39±0.21)μmol·L~(-1)\].

The study aims to investigate and compare the effects of probiotics and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) with the Alzheimer's disease (AD) therapeutic drug donepezil on the learning cognition and brain damage related indexes in AD mice, and to provide experimental basis for its treatment of AD. All animal experiments were approved by the Ethics Committee of the Henan University of Chinese Medicine (ethics number DWLL2018080003). Fifty male C57BL/6J mice were randomly assigned to one of five groups: sham-operated, model, donepezil (10 mg·kg^-1), probiotic (2.7×10⁹ CFU·d^-1), and DHA (0.104 g·kg^-1). Except for the sham-operated group, the AD animal model was established by injecting Aβ_25-35 (200 μmol·L^-1) in the lateral ventricle, followed by gavage administration for 4 weeks. In all mouse groups, learning memory ability, neuronal morphology in the hippocampus, apoptosis of primary hippocampal cells, and immune cell levels were detected. The levels of Aβ_1-42, Aβ_1-40, p-Tau, AchE, Ach, oxidative stress, glial cell activation, and the inflammatory factors IL-1β, IL-10, and TNF-α in the brain tissue of mice were also detected. 16S rDNA sequencing was used to further investigate the effects of donepezil and probiotics on AD. Donepezil, probiotics and DHA improved cognitive deficits and enhanced learning memory in Aβ_25-35-induced mice by increasing locomotion time, locomotion distance, autonomic alternation rate, and shortening the time to reach the plateau; it significantly attenuated Aβ_25-35-induced brain injury and neuroinflammation in mice by decreasing Aβ_1-42, Aβ_1-40, p-Tau, AchE, IL-1β, TNF-α, and MDA and increasing the levels of Ach, IL-10, GSH-Px, and T-SOD in brain tissues, as well as decreasing the activation of glial cells, and had a modulatory effect on immune cells. 16S rDNA sequencing shows that both donepezil and probiotics restore flora homeostasis and that differential bacteria are strongly associated with cognition, AD pathology, and neuroinflammation. Combining all indicators, donepezil and probiotics were more effective than DHA. All in all, donepezil, probiotics and DHA ameliorate Aβ_25-35-induced cognitive dysfunction and brain damage in mice by modulating immune cells, reducing the number of apoptotic cells and glial cell activation in the brain, and decreasing the levels of oxidative stress and inflammatory factor expression, among which the effects of donepezil and probiotics were better than those of DHA, and the therapeutic effects of donepezil and probiotics on AD were closely related to the modulation of gut microbiome.

Objective To investigate the role and underlying mechanism of miR-15b-5p on hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)induced human renal tubular epithelial cell(HK-2)injury by targeting forkhead box O1(FOXO1).Methods HK-2 cells in the log growth phase were set up as follows:(1)control group(normal culture)and H/R group(H/R induced culture).The expressions of miR-15b-5p and FOXO1 mRNA were detected using qRT-PCR,and the protein expression of FOXO1 was detected using Western blotting.(2)Control group(normal culture),H/R group(H/R induced culture),H/R+mimic control group(cells transfected with mimic control then induced by H/R),H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic group(cells transfected with miR-15b-5p mimic then induced by H/R),H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic+OE-NC group(cells co-transfected with miR-15b-5p mimic and OE-NC plasmid,then induced by H/R),and H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic+OE-FOXO1 group(cells co-transfected with miR-15b-5p mimic and FOXO1 overexpression plasmid,then induced by H/R).The expression of miR-15b-5p was detected using qRT-PCR,and the protein expressions of FOXO1,cleaved caspase-3,Bax,and Bcl-2 were detected using Western blotting.CCK-8 assay was used to detect cell viability.Cell apoptosis was measured by the TUNEL method.(3)Control group(normal culture),H/R group(H/R induced culture),H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic group(cells transfected with miR-15b-5p mimic then induced by H/R),and H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic+OE-FOXO1 group(cells co-transfected with miR-15b-5p mimic and FOXO1 overexpression plasmid,then induced by H/R).The protein expressions of LC3,p62 and Beclin1 were detected using Western blotting.LC3 immunofluorescence was used to detect the cell autophagy.The target reaction between miR-15b-5p and FOXO1 was assessed using dual luciferase reporting assay.Results Under an inverted microscope,it was observed that the control group had a higher number of cells,most of which were in a typical cobblestone shape and grew in a cobblestone-like manner;most of the cells in the H/R group contracted and became round,with a significant decrease in the number of adherent cells.In H/R-induced HK-2 cells,miR-15b-5p was significantly down-regulated,while miRNA and protein expression of FOXO1 was up-regulated(P<0.05).Luciferase assay results showed that miR-15b-5p directly targeted the 3'-UTR of FOXO1.Overexpression of miR-15b-5p increased cell viability,reduced cell apoptosis,and decreased autophagy in H/R-induced HK-2 cells(P<0.05).Compared with H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic group,the viability of HK-2 cells was decreased,the apoptosis and autophagy level were increased in H/R+miR-15b-5p mimic+OE-FOXO1 group(P<0.05).Conclusion miR-15b-5p inhibited autophagy and alleviated H/R-induced HK-2 cell injury by targeting FOXO1.

OBJECTIVE: To explore clinical effect of Zero-profile intervertebral fusion with cage-titanium plate in treating multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy. METHODS: From January 2016 to January 2020, 107 patients with multisegmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy treated by surgery were retrospectively analyzed and divided into Hybrid group and control group according to different surgical methods. There were 54 patients in Hybrid group, including 42 males and 12 females, aged from 33 to 77 years old with an average of (57.3±9.5) years old;20 patients with C₃-C₆, 27 patients with C₄-C₇ and 7 patients with C₃-C₇;Zero-profile intervertebral fusion with cage-titanium plate internal fixation was performed. There were 53 patients in control group, including 34 males and 19 females;aged from 36 to 79 years old with an average of (57.8±8.9) years old;17 patients with C₃-C₆, 27 patients with C₄-C₇, and 9 patients with C₃-C₇;titanium plate interbody fusion fixation was performed. Operation time, blood loss and complications between two groups were compared, visual analogue scale (VAS), Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) scores and neck disability index (NDI) were used to assess recovery of clinical symptoms;cervical lordosis (CL), cervical sagittal vertical axis (C-SVA), and T₁ slope (T₁S) were measured and compared to evaluate cervical sagittal plane parameters. RESULTS: All patients were followed up, Hybrid group was followed up for 24 to 64 months with an average of (31.7±18.4) months, and control group was followed up for 24 to 65 months with an average of (32.6±15.8) months. There was no significant difference in follow-up time between two groups (P>0.05). Operation time and blood loss in Hybrid group were less than those in control group (P<0.05). VAS, JOA score and NDI were significantly improved between two groups at the lastest follow-up (P<0.05). There were no significant difference in VAS, JOA and NDI scores between two groups before and after operation (P>0.05). CL in both two groups at 3 months and the latest follow-up after operation were significantly improved than those before operation (P<0.05), there were no significant difference between two groups in T1S and C-SVA before and after operation (P>0.05). Postoperative dysphagia occurred in 2 patients in Hybrid group and 9 patients in control group, and had statistically difference in the incidence of dysphagia between two groups (χ²=5.112, P=0.024). During the follow-up, there were no complications such as loosening, displacement or fracture of internal fixation between two groups. CONCLUSION Compared with titanium plate interbody fusion, Zero-profile intervertebral fusion combined with cage-titanium plate for the treatment of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy could shorten surgical time and blood loss, reduce surgical trauma and postoperative swallowing difficulties, and is conducive to early and rapid recovery.
