To analyze the distribution of serotypes and antimicrobial resistance of clinical Salmonella isolates from multiple centers across China.

Objective To explore the possibility of MR Ti-mapping imaging technology to provide additional indicators for clinical quantitative evaluation of renal function in children with renal insufficiency.Methods A total of 13 children with renal insufficiency diagnosed and underwent renal function MRI examination were selected(renal insufficiency group),and 23 children with normal renal function were included as the control group.The difference of renal cortex T1 value between the control group and the renal insuffi-ciency group was compared,and the correlation between renal cortex T1 value and biochemical indexes such as serum creatinine(SCr)and cystatin C(CysC)in the renal insufficiency group was analyzed.Results There was significant difference in T1 value of renal cortex between the renal insufficiency group and the control group(P＜0.01).The correlation between T1 value of renal cortex and SCr and CysC in renal insufficiency group was higher(r=0.75,P＜0.01;r=0.68,P＜0.01).Conclusion MR T1-mapping technol-ogy can non-invasively monitor the renal function status of children with renal insufficiency,and has a suggestive value for clinical quantitative evaluation of renal function in children.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of health science popularization in child caregivers by using social media of WeChat and Weibo in China in 2020.Methods:A questionnaire was designed based on the knowledge of children health from January to March 2020, and the public were invited to participate in the survey by visiting the official accounts of WeChat and Weibo of China CDC to analyze the awareness of health related knowledge and the change of daily behaviors in the child caregivers.Results:In the 1 325 child caregivers included in this survey, the awareness rate of chronic disease reexamine was lowest (74.94%), and the awareness rate of quality-oriented education was highest (99.55%). In the 7 questions in the questionnaire, the correct answer rate of the question about the reexamine of chronic disease was <75.00% (below the standard), the correct answer rate to other six questions were all ≥75.00% (above the standard). Logistic regression analysis showed that the education levels of senior high school or technical secondary school, junior college, bachelor's degree, master's degree or above, being worker, business/service personnel, teacher and company employee were the influencing factors for the awareness of the chronic disease related knowledge in child caregivers (all P<0.05). The daily behaviors of child caregivers after acquiring health knowledge were significantly improved (all P<0.001). Conclusions:In the season with high incidence of respiratory diseases, the use of new media platforms, such as WeChat and Weibo, to conduct health education had a good performance, resulting in higher rate of knowledge about healthy parenting and a significant improvement in daily behaviors in child caregivers. The results showed that the health education about the reexamine of chronic diseases in children should be focused on child caregivers with low education level, especially workers, business/service personnel.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of discharge preparation service based on theory of goal attainment on patients with cervical spinal cord injury.Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted to analyze the clinic data of 60 patients with cervical spinal cord injury admitted to Zhengzhou Orthopedics Hospital from January 2017 to December 2022, including 49 males and 11 females, aged 23-79 years [(52.2±13.5)years]. Patients were all treated with cervical decompression fusion and internal fixation. Patients admitted from January 2017 to December 2019 were treated with conventional nursing intervention (conventional nursing group, n=30) and patients admitted from January 2020 to December 2022 were treated with discharge preparation service based on theory of goal attainment (discharge preparation service group, n=30). The readiness for hospital discharge of the two groups was compared using the Chinese version of Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) at 4 hours before discharge. The degree of cervical spinal cord dysfunction of the two groups were compared using Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score before intervention, at discharge and at 6 months after discharge. The complication and unplanned readmission rates of the two groups were compared at 6 months after discharge. Results:All the patients were followed up for 6 months. At 4 hours before discharge, the scores of the three parameters of RHDS containing personal status, adaptability and anticipatory support and the total score of the discharge preparation service group were (20.9±3.5)points, (35.9±2.2)points, (30.4±3.0)points and (87.1±7.8)points respectively, higher than those of the conventional nursing group [(16.2±1.7)points, (32.5±2.2)points, (26.3±2.1)points and (75.0±5.6)points respectively] ( P<0.01). There was no statistically significant difference in the JOA score of the two groups before intervention ( P>0.05). The JOA scores of the discharge preparation service group at discharge and at 6 months after discharge were (11.8±1.7)points and (13.8±1.5)points respectively, higher than those of the conventional nursing group [(10.3±1.8)points and (11.6±1.9)points respectively] ( P<0.01). At 6 months after discharge, the complication rate of the discharge preparation service group was 6.7% (2/30), lower than that of the conventional nursing group [36.7% (11/30)] ( P<0.05). The unplanned readmission rate of the discharge preparation service group was 3.3% (1/30), lower than that of the conventional nursing group [23.3% (7/30)] ( P<0.05). Conclusion:For patients with cervical spinal cord injury, discharge preparation service based on theory of goal attainment can improve the discharge readiness, promote spinal functional recovery and reduce the complication and unplanned readmission rates.

Objective To investigate the effect of resveratrol(RES)on ovarian function in mice and elucidate the potential mechanism involving miR-23a.Methods Thirty mice were randomly divided into control,premature ovarian failure(POF)model,and treatment(RES)groups,with n=10 per group.The body weight and ovarian mass of the mice were measured,and the ovarian index was calculated.Hematoxylin and eosin staining was performed to observe pathological changes in mouse ovarian tissue.Real-time quantitative PCR and Western blotting were performed to measure the mRNA and protein levels of miR-23a,X-linked inhibitor of apoptosis protein(XIAP),and caspase-3 in the ovarian tissue.Results Compared with the control group,the POF group exhibited significant decreases in ovarian mass(P＜0.05),ovarian index(P＜0.05),number of primary follicles,and XIAP mRNA expression(P＜0.05),alongside significant increases in miR-23a and caspase-3 mRNA expression(P＜0.05).Compared with the POF group,the RES group exhibited significant increases in the ovarian mass(P＜0.05),ovarian index(P＜0.05),number of primary follicles,and XIAP mRNA expression(P＜0.05),as well as significant decreases in miR-23a and caspase-3 mRNA expression(P＜0.05).XIAP protein expression was significantly lower and caspase-3 protein expression was significantly higher in the POF group than in the control group(P＜0.05).Conversely,XIAP protein expression was significantly higher and caspase-3 protein expression was significantly lower in the RES group than in the POF group(P＜0.05).Conclusion RES exerts a protective effect on weakened ovarian function in mice,potentially mediated through its effect on miR-23a targeting the XIAP-caspase-3 signaling pathway.

Objective To quantitatively analyze the risk indicators of re-introduction of imported malaria in China and their weighting coefficients, so as to investigate the difference in the contribution of risk indicators included in the current risk assessment framework for re-introduction of imported malaria in China to the risk assessment of re-introduction of imported malaria. Methods Publications pertaining to the risk assessment framework for re-introduction of imported malaria in China that reported the risk indicators and their weighting coefficients were retrieved in PubMed, Web of Science, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP with terms of “malaria”, “re-introduction/re-transmission/re-establishment”, “risk assessment/risk evaluation/risk prediction” from the inception of the database through 3 August 2023, and literature search was performed in Google Scholar to ensure the comprehensiveness of the retrieval. Basic characteristics of included studies were extracted using pre-designed information extraction forms by two investigators, and data pertaining to risk indicators of re-introduction of imported malaria were cross-checked by these two investigators. The risk indicators included in the risk assessment framework for re-introduction of imported malaria in China and their weighting coefficients were visualized with the Nightingale’s rose diagrams using the software R 4.2.1, and the importance of risk indictors was evaluated with the frequency of risk indicators included in the risk assessment framework and the ranking of weighting coefficients of risk indicators. In addition, the capability of risk indicators screened by different weighting methods was compared by calculating the ratio of the maximum to the minimum of the weighting coefficients of the risk indicators screened by different weighting methods. Results A total of 2 138 publications were retrieved, and following removal of duplications and screening, a total of 8 publications were included in the final analysis. In these 8 studies, 8 risk assessment frameworks for re-introduction of imported malaria in China and 52 risk indicators of re-introduction of imported malaria were reported, in which number of imported malaria cases (n = 8) and species of malaria vectors were more frequently included in the risk assessment frameworks (n = 8), followed by species of imported malaria parasites (n = 6) and population density of local malaria vectors (n = 6), and species of local malaria vectors (n = 6), number of imported malaria cases (n = 5) and species of imported malaria parasites had the three highest weighting coefficients (n = 4). The weighting methods included expert scoring method, combination of expert scoring method and analytic hierarchy process, and combination of expert scoring method and entropy weight method in these 8 studies, and the ratios of the maximum to the minimum of the weighting coefficients of the risk indicators screened by the expert scoring method were 1.143 to 2.241, while the ratios of the maximum to the minimum of the weighting coefficients of the risk indicators screened by combination of the expert scoring method and analytic hierarchy process were 34.970 to 162.000. Conclusions Number of imported malaria cases, species of imported malaria parasites, species of local malaria vectors and population density of local malaria vectors are core indicators in the current risk assessment framework for re-introduction of imported malaria in China. Combination of the expert scoring method and analytic hierarchy process is superior to the expert scoring method alone for weighting the risk indicators.

Objective: To understand the association between waist circumference with psychological sub health among middle school students in Xinjiang, and to provide evidence for the management of waist circumference and effective prevention of mental health problems. Methods: By using the stratified cluster sampling, 6 191 middle school students aged 13-15 in Urumqi, Karamay, Yining, and Kashgar of Xinjiang were surveyed on demographic information, lifestyle, waist circumference, and psychological sub health symptoms. Chi square test, one way ANOVA, and Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the association between waist circumference and mental sub health. Results: The detection rate of psychological subhealth among secondary school students in Xinjiang was 21.4%. The detection rates of emotional problems, behavioral problems, and social adjustment difficulties were 28.4 %, 28.1%, and 17.7%, respectively. Significant differences in the detection rate of emotional problems, social adjustment difficulties, and psychological sub health scores were observed among students with different waist circumference levels ( F= 4.03 , 10.90 , 5.81, P <0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that secondary school students with high waist circumference had a higher risk of social adjustment difficulties ( OR=1.45, 95%CI =1.20-1.75) and psychological sub health problems ( OR=1.46, 95%CI =1.22-1.74) compared to those with normal waist circumference ( P <0.01). Conclusion Psychological sub health problems of middle school students in Xinjiang are prominent, and the waist circumference is positively related to the psychological sub health problems. Schools should pay attention to the mental health education of middle school students, ensure reasonable diet, sleep and living habits, and promote their physical and mental health development.

Objective:To investigate the application value of mixed reality (MR) technology in reconstruction of soft tissue defect of extremities with free anterolateral thigh flap(ALTF).Methods:From December 2019 to November 2021, a retrospective analysis was performed on 10 patients who had undergone ALTF reconstruction of soft tissue defects in extremities in Department of Orthopaedics, the First People's Hospital of Yunnan Province. Four patients had the defects in hand and 6 patients in foot and ankle. For the 6 patients in emergency surgery, the time from injury to admission was 4.0-15.0 hours, with an average of 7.3 hours. Four patients with soft tissue defects caused by chronic infection and ulcers were given debridement, and the soft tissue defects were reconstructed by flap transfer at the second stage. The defect area were from 8.0 cm×5.0 cm to 22.0 cm×8.0 cm. Preoperatively, 3D bone-vessel-flap model was established based on the lower extremity CTA scans. Intraoperatively, MR technology was used to project the 3D model on the flap donor site to observe the virtual profile of vessel shape in real time, to locate the perforator and the course of the perforator, and observe the consistency between the virtual image and the actual anatomy of the perforator. The appearance, texture and colour of the flap were recorded at the last follow-up. Hand function was evaluated by the total activity movement (TAM), and foot and ankle function was evaluated by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS).Results:The position location and course of perforator vessels were reconstructed successfully in all patients before surgery. The MR technology was used to locate the perforator, and the course of the virtual perforator was consistent with the actual anatomy, and the matching reached 100%. The length of vascular pedicle measured before surgery was at 11.02 cm±1.37 cm. And that measured during surgery was at 11.21 cm±1.23 cm ( P=0.748, t=-0.326). The difference was not statistically significant ( P>0.05). The flap area was at 9.0 cm×6.0 cm to 23.0 cm×9.0 cm. The donor site was sutured directly in one stage. All patients were entered postoperative followed-up for 1 to 24 months, with an average of 13.5 months. All the flaps survived after surgery. The flap with good appearance, colour and texture, and only one linear scar was left in the donor site. According to the TAM of the hand function, 3 cases were excellent and 1 was fair. Foot and ankle function were evaluated according to the AOFAS, 5 cases were in excellent and 1 was good. Conclusion:MR technology applied to the surgery of ALTF can locate the course of the flap vessels in real time, guide the operation, improve the operation efficiency and reduce the risk in surgery.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between cognitive function and living ability of older adult patients living in a mining community.Methods:A total of 180 older adult patients living in a mining community who received treatment during July-October 2019 were included in this study. They were randomly divided into the low-age group (< 68 years old, n = 94) and the high-age group (≥ 68 years old, n = 86). Cognitive function and living ability were evaluated using the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and the Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL). The relationship between cognitive function and living ability was investigated using hierarchical analysis and Pearson correlation analysis. Results:The proportions of older adult patients with abnormal cognitive function identified by the MMSE and MoCA were 39.4% and 66.0%, respectively in the low-age group, and they were 32.6% and 61.6%, respectively in the high-age group. The MoCA had a greater performance in identifying abnormal cognitive function in each group than the MMSE ( χ2 = 26.69, 10.18, both P < 0.001). There were no significant differences in proportions of older adult patients with abnormal cognitive function identified by the MMSE and MoCA between low-age and high-age groups ( χ2 = 0.90, 0.36, both P > 0.05). The proportion of older adult patients with abnormal living ability was not significantly different between low-age and high-age groups (4.3% vs. 10.5%, χ2 = 2.58, P > 0.05). Compared with patients negative for MMSE items, living ability and instrumental activity of daily living increased by 7.0% and 9.4% in low-age patients positive for MMSE items (both P < 0.05). Compared with patients negative for MoCA items, living ability increased by 3.5% in low-age patients positive for MoCA items ( P < 0.05). Correlation analysis revealed that total scores of MMSE and MoCA were significantly negatively correlated with ADL score ( r = -0.26, -0.27, both P < 0.001) and instrumental activity of daily living score ( r = -0.27, -0.27, P < 0.001). Conclusion:Cognitive function and living ability are correlated in older adult patients living in a mining community. We should pay attention to the screening results of cognitive disorder in older adult patients and improve their living ability by improving their cognitive function.

Objective:To investigate the characteristic of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in the adults aged 48 years and over in a coal mine community, and to analyze its associated risk factors.Methods:From July to October 2019, a questionnaire survey for basic information was conducted among 180 middle-aged and elderly adults who met the inclusion criteria in the Datong coal mine community. The cognitive function was evaluated by Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). The effects of gender, age, years of education, sleep, living alone, physical exercise, social activities, smoking and drinking status, body mass index and chronic diseases on cognitive level were analyzed by single factor stratification and multiple linear regression.Results:There was no significant difference in the positive rate of MCI screened by MMSE and MoCA in the age groups of 48-<64, 64-<72 and 72-90 (original and corrected P>0.05); The positive rate of MCI in MoCA screening (64.4%, 66.7%, 60.9%) was significantly higher than that in MMSE (35.6%, 45.6%, 28.1%) (all P<0.05); MMSE was positively correlated with MoCA score ( r=0.762, P<0.001). With the increase of age, the scores of memory, execution and visual space detected by MoCA decreased significantly (all P<0.05), while the scores of attention, language and orientation did not change significantly (all P>0.05). Univariate stratification showed that the significant influencing factors of MMSE or MoCA scores were gender, age, years of education and sleep status (all P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender ( βMMSE=-0.192; βMoCA=-0.140), years of education ( βMMSE=0.209; βMoCA=0.328) and sleep status( βMMSE=-0.162; βMoCA=-0.136) were risk factors affecting MMSE and MoCA scores ( P<0.05). Conclusions:More middle-aged and elderly adults with MCI might be observed in a coal mine community, and the main characteristics of MCI are impaired memory, executive function and visual space. To prevent and reduce the occurrence of dementia, early interventions of MCI should be carried out among the adults with female, old age, low years of education and poor sleep quality.
