Allergic conjunctivitis is a common ocular inflammatory disease, with intense itching being the most typical and distressing symptom for patients. In recent years, with the in-depth study of the interaction between the nervous and immune systems, significant progress has been made in understanding the mechanism of itching in allergic conjunctivitis. This review elaborates on the neurobiological basis of itching in allergic conjunctivitis, with a focus on the complex dialogue between immune cells and sensory neurons, particularly the core role of the IL-33-ST2-CGRP signaling axis in mediating itching. Additionally, this article introduces new findings in genetic susceptibility research, including the identification of susceptibility genes for allergic conjunctivitis through transcriptome-wide association studies. The sensory nervous system not only transmits itch signals but also actively participates in the formation of antigen channels related to conjunctival goblet cells, thereby regulating the local uptake of allergens and the initiation of the immune response. Moreover, targeted novel therapeutic strategies offer hope for patients with refractory allergic conjunctivitis. Exploring the molecular and cellular mechanisms of itching in allergic conjunctivitis will provide a theoretical basis for the development of more effective treatment methods.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2022;38(11):801-806
Objective:To investigate the self-perceived aging status of the elderly in Changsha and analyze its influencing factors. Methods:From July to August in 2020, the convenient sampling method was used to select 402 elderly people in Changsha as the research object, the general data questionnaire, the elderly self-perceived aging questionnaire, the family care questionnaire and the positive psychological capital questionnaire were used to investigate them. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of self-perceived aging after logarithmic transformation. Results:The total score of self-perceived aging of the elderly was 109.00(102.00, 112.00), the total score of family care was 5.00(3.00, 8.00) and the total score of psychological capital was 80.00(66.00, 87.25). Regression analysis showed that the gender, educational level, age, the forms of health care, quarrels in family relationships, children visit frequency and the degree of family care were the important factors affecting the self-perceived aging of the elderly( P<0.05). Conclusions:The self-perceived aging level of the elderly is at a medium level, it is suggested that relevant departments take comprehensive measures to create positive self-aging environment.

Objective:
To investigate the effects of definitive repair surgery on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients with bile duct injury after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC).
Methods:
The retrospective case-control study was conducted. The clinicopathological data of 181 patients with bile duct injury caused by LC for benign gallbladder diseases who underwent definitive repair surgery and 50 patients without complications after LC for benign gallbladder diseases in the Mianyang Central Hospital from January 2000 to December 2017 were collected. There were 82 males and 99 females of 181 patients with bile duct injury, aged from 31 to 68 years, with an average age of 47 years. Definitive repair surgery was performed according to different types of bile duct injury, and questionnaire of HRQOL was conducted preoperatively and one year after operation. There were 18 males and 32 females of 50 patients without complications after LC, aged from 35 to 69 years, with an average age of 41 years. Questionnaire of HRQOL was conducted on LC patients without complications one year after operation. Observation indicators: (1) classification of bile duct injury; (2) intraoperative situations of definitive repair surgery; (3) postoperative situations of definitive repair surgery; (4) follow-up; (5) results of the SF-36 scale assessment. Follow-up was conducted by outpatient examination and telephone interview up to December 2018. Patients were reexamined liver function and color Doppler ultrasonography once every 6-12 months, and further magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) or computed tomography examination to detect recurrence of anastomotic biliary stricture and cholangitis. Measurement data with normal distribution were expressed as

Objective:
To study hemihepatectomy combined with a circular-stretching suturing technique in bile duct anastomosis in treatment of high level bile duct injuries (BDI).
Methods:
From January 2000 to January 2018, eleven patients with high level BDI caused by laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) were treated in Mianyang Central Hospital with hemihepatectomy combined with a circular-stretching suturing technique in the bile duct anastomosis. The hilar confluence was involved in all these patients. A total of six patients had combined right hepatic artery injury with 1 having associated right portal vein injury. A total of five patients had developed right liver atrophy. The median time interval from LC to hepatectomy was 17.0(2.0~61.0) months. The number of previously attempted biliary repairs was 1~4 times (median 2 times). The bile duct anastomosis was performed by the circular-stretching suturing technique.
Results:
There was no perioperative death. One patient underwent left hemihepatectomy and 10 patients right hemihepatectomy. Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy was carried out in 9 patients, and bile duct end-to-end anastomosis in 2 patients. The operation time was (245.9±87.4) min, intraoperative blood loss (655.7±413.6) ml, and the median postoperative hospital stay 12.0(7.0~29.0) days. Five patients developed complications. The median follow-up was 47.0(15.0~89.0) months. One patient developed anastomotic stenosis and 1 patient had cholangitis. The remaining 9 patients were well.
Conclusion
After adequate preoperative preparation, patients who were treated with hemihepatectomy combined with the circular-stretching suturing technique for bile duct anastomosis to treat high level BDI achieved good results.

Objective To explore the current status of the life quality of submariners and its influential factors. Methods One hundred and twenty-two submariners were evaluated by using life quality investigation form-36 (SF-36),perceived stress scale (PSS-10),Eysenck's personality questionnaire (EPQ),life event scale (LES) and trait coping style questionnaire. At the same time, venous blood samples were collected for the detection of several biochemical, endocrinic and immuno indicators. Results The scores of Physical Component Summary(PCS),Mental component Summary (MCS) and SF-36 were all negatively correlated with those of PSS,neuroticism (N),lie (L),negative coping style (NC),negative life events, total life event (LE) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN).Total scores of MCS and SF-36 were significantly correlated with those of TC,IL-2,IL-4,NE and COR (P <0.01 or P <0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that PCS was affected considerably by age and neuroticism. The factors affecting MCS were in sequence:profession, neuroticism,TC and BUN and the factor affecting the total score of SF-36 was NC.Conclusions The life quality of submariners could be affected considerably by age, length of military service, profession,PSS,coping style and life events, and psychological intervention was imperative in the activities of health management.

Objective To investigate the anti - stress activity of thymopentin ethyl ester. Methods Anti - stress activity was evaluated by heat stress model and chronic uncontrolled stress model. Heat stress model;of 60 KM mice were divided into six groups. Except the controlled group, the other mice were maintained in 42℃ for 1h. Chronic uncontrolled stress model:of 60 KM mice were divided into six groups. Except the controlled group, the other mice were given three different stimulations once a day for continuous 21 d. The controlled group and model group were injected saline 0.2ml, and the three test groups were respectively injected thympentin ethyl ester at 2mg/kg,0.2mg/kg, 0.02mg/kg subcutaneously. The positive controlled mice were given thymopentin 0.2mg/kg subcutaneously. At the end of the experiment, plasma corticosteroid, IL -2 and SOD were determined according to the kit instructions. Results The activities of thymopentin ethyl ester in suppressed corticosteroid up - regulation and the elevated plasma IL - 2 and SOD level were more significant than those of thymopentin(P
