Objective To investigate the anti-inflammatory properties of bergaptenand its inhibition of bone resorption in the treatment of periodontitis,as well as its potential underlying mechanisms.Methods A total of 35 male Wistar rats were randomly di-vided into five groups(control group,model group,and low-,medium-,and high-dose bergapten groups,with 7 rats in each group).Except for the control group,periodontitis was induced in all other groups by orthodontic ligation of the bilateral maxillary first molars(M1)and feeding a high-sugar diet.After successful modeling,the control and model groups received gavage of isotonic saline,while the bergapten groups received gavage of 50,100,and 200 mg/kg bergapten,respectively,once daily for 4 consecutive weeks.Perio-dontal symptoms were observed,and GI,SBI grades,and PLI scores were recorded.Rats were sacrificed within 24 hours after the last administration,and their maxillae were immediately subjected to Micro-CT scanning to assess alveolar bone resorption.Histopathological changes in the periodontal tissues were observed using HE staining,and serum levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines(IL-6 and IL-1β)were measured by ELISA.Results Compared with the control group,the model group exhibited significantly higher levels of IL-6,IL-1β,GI,SBI grades,PLI scores,and CEJ-ABC distance,while bone volume to total volume ratio(BV/TV),trabec-ular number(Tb.N),and trabecular thickness(Tb.Th)were significantly reduced(P＜0.001).In comparison to the model group,the bergapten groups(with the exception of the low-dose group for IL-6)demonstrated reductions in IL-6,IL-1β levels,GI,SBI grades,PLI scores,and CEJ-ABC distance,with the medium-dose group showing the most pronounced effect(except for IL-6).Conclusion Bergapten can effectively prevent and treat periodontitis by inhibiting the secretion of IL-6 and IL-1β cytokines,achieving anti-inflam-matory effects and inhibiting bone resorption.

Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of digital design combined with three-dimensional (3D) printing model minimally invasive extraction of complex impacted mandibular third molars.Methods:Eight patients who visited the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from April 2023 to March 2024 were included, including 3 males and 5 females, aged from 27 to 57 years old. The impacted mandibular third molars of all patients were closely related to the mandibular canal, and part of the dental tissue entered the mandibular canal. Preoperative digital design was used to simulate the intraoperative tooth segmentation and bone removal operation of the power system and the segmented tooth dislocation path, and analyze the tooth extraction resistance. The mandibular teeth, mandibular canal and mandibular model were three-dimensionally printed using light-curing resin inkjet. During the operation, an endoscope was used combined with the 3D printed model to minimally invasively extract the impacted mandibular third molar. Quantitative sensory testing of the patient′s lower lip skin on the operated side was performed before surgery, 2 days after surgery, and 7 days after surgery. Clinical data such as operation time were collected. A paired sample t test was performed on the 2 and 7 days postoperative data and the preoperative data to compare the data differences.Results:All 8 patients successfully completed preoperative design, model printing and minimally invasive surgery. The number of teeth segmented in the preoperative design was (4.4±1.3), and the number of teeth segmented in the actual operation was (4.0±1.1). The operation time was (33.3±13.0) min. None of the patients had postoperative numbness of the lower lip or other postoperative complication. It was observed endoscopically that the inferior alveolar neurovascular bundle was exposed in the extraction socket during the operation. The patient′s pressure pain threshold 2 days after surgery (0.601±1.170) was significantly lower than before surgery (1.251±1.109) ( t=2.83, P=0.025). Conclusions:For complicated impacted mandibular third molars, digital design combined with 3D printing model can be used to perform minimally invasive extraction with the assistance of an endoscope.

Objective:To compare the effects of glenosphere offset positions on the impingement-free range of motion (ROM) in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RTSA).Methods:Shoulder joint models were reconstructed using shoulder CT scans of 6 patients with primary osteoarthritis. RTSA was performed virtually according to standard surgical procedures, and shoulder movements were simulated. Reverse shoulder models were constructed with 2 lateral offsets (0 and 4 mm) and 6 positional offsets (center, inferior, posterior, anterior, anterior-inferior, and posterior-inferior). The impingement-free ROM and impingement sites for abduction-adduction, flexion-extension, total rotation (sum of internal and external rotation), and total ROM (sum of ROM in all movement modes) were evaluated.Results:All the 12 combinations of different glenosphere offsets achieved 50% of the original shoulder ROM in all movements. In the abduction-adduction motion with 0 and 4 mm lateral offsets, the anterior-inferior offset provided the largest ROM (94.4°±8.7° and 105.3°±6.9°, respectively), but there was no significant difference between the positions ( P>0.05). In the flexion-extension motion with 0 and 4 mm lateral offsets, the posterior-inferior offset showed the largest ROM (194.1°±6.9° and 196.9°±9.7°, respectively), but there was no significant difference between the positions ( P>0.05). In the total rotation motion with 0 and 4 mm lateral offsets, the anterior-inferior offset had the largest ROM (141.5°±5.9° and 160.6°±8.5°, respectively), showing significant advantages over the center, anterior, and posterior offsets ( P<0.05), but insignificant advantages over the inferior and posterior-inferior offsets ( P>0.05). In total ROM, the anterior-inferior offset provided the largest ROM. When the lateral offset was 0 mm, the anterior-inferior offset provided a ROM of 421.8°±16.4°, showing significant advantages over the center and posterior offsets ( P<0.05). Compared with the lateral glenosphere offset of 0 mm, the lateral glenosphere offset of 4 mm significantly improved total shoulder ROM (122.8°±10.6° versus 145.8°±4.8°) and total ROM (390.9°±11.6° versus 428.4°±19.8°) ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The anterior-inferior, inferior, and posterior-inferior glenosphere offsets can improve ROM in all movement patterns. The position and lateral offset of the glenosphere significantly affect the total rotation and total ROM of the shoulder joint. Specifically, the anterior-inferior and inferior offsets show significant advantages over the center position in total rotation and total ROM of the shoulder joint.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of Cuscutae Semen on the learning and memory ability， N6-methyladenosine （m⁶A）-related modification enzymes and total m⁶A level in hippocampus of the offspring of fear-damaged pregnant rats. MethodForty-five pregnant rats were randomly divided into blank group， model group and Cuscutae Semen group. From the 1^st day to the 19^th day of pregnancy， rats in the model group and the Cuscutae Semen group were induced by observing electric shock of other rats. The Cuscutae Semen group was treated with 5 g·kg^-1·d^-1 Cuscutae Semen decoction （ig）， while the other two groups were treated with the same amount of purified water. The offspring were assigned following the grouping method of their maternal generation. The behavioral changes of the offspring were tested by Morris water maze on 21^st day after birth， and the development of hippocampal neurons was observed by transmission electron microscopy. The mRNA and protein expression levels of methyltransferase-like 3 （METTL3）， METTL14， Wilms tumor 1 associated protein （WTAP）， fat mass and obesity-associated protein （FTO） and Alk B homologue 5 （ALKBH5） were detected by Real-time polymerase chain reaction （Real-time PCR）， Western blot and immunohistochemistry （IHC）. The total content of m⁶A in hippocampus was determined by high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry （LC-MS/MS）. ResultCompared with the conditions in the blank group， the average latency duration in the model group was prolonged， and the number of entries in the target quadrant， the target quadrant duration and the number of crossing the platform were decreased （P<0.01）. Additionally， the model group had seriously damaged structure of hippocampal CA1 and CA3 neurons， swollen mitochondria， expanded endoplasmic reticulum， and small number of synapses with some having blurred structure， and the expression levels of METTL3， METTL14， FTO， ALKBH5 as well as the total m⁶A level were lower than those in the blank group （P<0.05，P<0.01）. Compared with the model group， the Cuscutae Semen group had shortened average latency duration， increased number of entries in the target quadrant， target quadrant duration and number of crossing the platform （P<0.01）， alleviated damage of hippocampal CA1 and CA3 neurons， fine structure of mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum， and clear， intact and dense synapses. And the expression levels of METTL3， METTL14， FTO as well as the total level of m⁶A were up regulated， while the expression level of ALKBH5 was down regulated in the Cuscutae Semen group （P<0.05，P<0.01）. ConclusionCuscutae Semen improved the learning and memory ability of the offspring of the rats affected by fear damaging kidney during pregnancy， protected hippocampal neurons， and up-regulated the expression levels of METTL3， METTL14， FTO and the total m⁶A level in hippocampus.

ObjectiveTo study the anxiety and depression status of the third-year junior high school students in Nanning city， and to discuss their relationships with test anxiety， so as to provide references for targeted psychological intervention for students. MethodsFrom May to June， 2021， a simple random sampling method was adopted to randomly enroll three classes of third-grade students from one junior high school in each district and county of Nanning city. The selected students were assessed using Test Anxiety Scale （TAS）， Self-rating Anxiety Scale （SAS） and Self-rating Depression Scale （SDS）. Thereafter， Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to explore the correlation among each scale score. ResultsA total of 2 080 students participated in the survey， and 1 826 （87.79%） valid questionnaires were collected. Among them， 999 students （54.71%） felt uncomfortable due to the test. Anxiety and depression were detected in 577 （31.60%） and 830 （45.45%） students， respectively. TAS score of female students was higher than that of male students ［（16.75±6.78） vs. （15.08±6.97）， t=-5.136， P<0.01］， SAS score of female students was higher than that of male students ［（46.05±10.43） vs. （44.16±10.87）， t=-3.769， P<0.01］， and SDS score of female students was higher than that of male students ［（52.34±12.44） vs. （49.98±12.17）， t=-4.039， P<0.01］. Correlation analysis showed that SAS and SDS scores were positively correlated with TAS score （r=0.574， 0.531， P<0.01）， and the correlation still existed after further controlling for age and gender （r=0.570， 0.526， P<0.01）. ConclusionThe third-year junior high school students in Nanning city suffer a high prevalence rate of anxiety and depression， and the two psychological states have positive relations with TAS. Furthermore， both anxiety and depression are more severe in female students than in male students.

Objective:To explore the current status of the artificial intelligence (AI) developments in medical imaging in China, and to provide data for the development of AI.Methods:In May 2022, the Radiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the China Medical Imaging AI Industry-University-Research Innovation Alliance jointly launched a nationwide survey on the application status and development needs of medical imaging AI in China in the form of a questionnaire. This survey was carried out for different groups of people, focusing on the clinical applications of medical imaging AI, enterprise development, and educational needs in colleges and universities, with the descriptive statistical analysis performed.Results:China′s medical imaging AI has made great progress in clinical applications, in enterprise developments, as well as in the education and teaching areas. In terms of clinical application, 90.8% (5 765/6 347) of the survey respondents had a preliminary understanding of AI. There were 62.1% (3 798/6 119) doctors confirmed the applications medical imaging AI products in their departments. AI products were applied in the whole process of medical imaging examination, especially in assistance of the diagnosis. The application of pulmonary nodules screening accounted for 89.5% (3 401/3 798) of all medical imaging AIs. The main factors restricting the rapid development of medical imaging AI included lack of experts [47.3% (3 002/6 347)], poor data quality [45.7% (2 898/6 347)] and imperfect function of the products [40.4% (2 566/6 347)]; in terms of enterprises, there were 65.4% enterprises with a scale of less than 100 employees (17/26), and 34.6% with a scale of more than 100 employees (9/26). The main group of the customers were the hospitals above the second level, accounting for about 92.3% (24/26); in terms of education, the number and quality of AI courses, practical operations and lectures currently carried out by schools vary between different levels. The AI courses for graduated students accounted for about 22.5% (86/381), which were the largest in number; while the proportion of AI courses for junior college students, undergraduates and regular trainees were less than 15%. More than 60% of the students thought it necessary for schools to establish AI courses. Among all the students, the master′s and doctoral candidates had the greatest demand for additional AI courses [84.8% (323/381)].Conclusions:The development and popularization of medical imaging AI in China continues to prosper, with opportunities and challenges coexisting. It is necessary to adhere to the orientation of clinical needs, and to realize the coordinated development of clinical application, enterprise development, as well as education and teaching.

Objective:To explore the occupational stress status and influencing factors of workers in a textile factory in Zhejiang Provice.Methods:In October 2018, 505 workers from a textile factory in Zhejiang Province were selected as research objects by convenient sampling method. A total of 505 questionnaires were distributed, 495 of which were effective and the effective recovery rate was 98.0%. Job Content Questionnaire (JCQ) and Effort Reward Imbalance Questionnaire (REI) were used to investigate textile workers' occupational stress and analyze its influencing factors. The differences of the composition ratio of different groups were tested by χ 2 test. The influencing factors such as age, gender and occupation on occupational stress were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. Results:ERI analysis results showed that the high and low occupational stress accounted for 30.1% and 69.9%, respectively. The differences of occupational stress among workers of different job types and working ages were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The detection rates of high occupational stress of paper workers and spinners were 47.8% (11/23) and 44.8% (30/67) , respectively, higher than other jobs. The detection rate of high occupational stress for workers with more than 5 years of service was 46.4% (13/28) . The results of JCQ analysis showed that there was no statistical significance in the differences of daily working hours and length of service between different gender, education levels, types of work patterns, and occupational stress ( P>0.05) . Job types had significant effects on the occupational stress defined by ERI ( P<0.05) , the risk of occupational stress was 2.151 times than that of the coiler. Conclusion:There are significant differences in occupational stress risk among workers of different types of work in textile industry, so different measures should be taken to prevent and control occupational stress in different jobs.

Objective To investigate the impact of low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) with different intensities on the migration of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) in vitro.Methods BMSCs were divided into control group,30 mW/cm2 group,60 mW/cm2 group and 90 mW/cm2 group.Control group was treated by sham LIPUS exposure,and the other three groups were treated by LIPUS with corresponding intensities.The impact of LIPUS on scratch healing was tested with scratch assay,and the interference of proliferation was eliminated with MTT assay.The migration of BMSCs were evaluated with transwell migration assay.The expression of F-actin was analyzed with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) fluorescent coloration.Results 24 h and 48 h after LIPUS exposure,there were statistical differences of scratch area among groups (F=26.559,106.110,both P＜0.001),and the scratch area of control group was the largest ([0.93 ± 0.26)mm2 of 24 h after LIPUS exposure and [0.70 ± 0.11]mm2 of 48 h after LIPUS exposure),while that of 30 mW/cm2 group was the smallest ([0.47 ±0.21]mm2 of 24 h after LIPUS exposure and [0.19±0.10]mm2 of 48 h after LIPUS exposure).There was no statistical difference of scratch area among the four groups immediately after LIPUS exposure (F=2.921,P=0.063).MTT assay results showed there was no statistical difference of absorbance among the four groups immediately,nor 24 h,48 h after LIPUS exposure (F=1.616,0.720,1.408;P=0.196,0.544,0.378).Significant difference was found in the number of cells migrated through the transwell chamber among the four groups (F=43.145,P＜0.001),and the cell number of 30 mW/cm2 group was the largest (212.53±35.32),while that of the control group was the least (89.53±19.27).F-actin fluorescence staining results showed the morphology of F-actin was changed after LIPUS exposure.The cytoskeleton became narrow and elongated.Statistical difference of relative fluorescence intensity was found among the four groups (F 64.350,P＜0.001).The relative fluorescence intensity of 30 mW/cm2 group was the largest (125.43 ± 17.43),while that of control group was the least (51.94± 12.76).Conclusion LIPUS can promote the migration ability of BMSCs in vitro with the best intensity was 30 mW/cm2.
