With the aging of the population in China, the incidence of lung cancer combined with coronary heart disease has been increasing year by year, seriously threatening the life and health of patients. The treatment of lung cancer combined with coronary heart disease is rather difficult. Radical lung cancer surgery combined with coronary artery bypass grafting is an effective treatment method. Compared with staged surgery, simultaneous surgery can avoid the delay of lung cancer treatment, the need for a second anesthesia, and the fear of patients undergoing a second operation, but it may also increase the surgical risk and postoperative complications. By summarizing previous literature, we describe the progress in the diagnosis and treatment of radical lung cancer surgery combined with coronary artery bypass grafting to provide evidence-based medical evidence for the clinical application of this surgical approach.

Objective:To investigate abnormal blood lipids of military flying personnel and related contributors in order to provide data for health support to military flying personnel. Methods:The physical examination data of 358 military flying personnel between November 2022 and April 2023 was retrospectively analyzed. The flying personnel were divided into 3 groups by age (20-≤29 years, 30-≤39 years and ≥40 years), 3 groups by aircraft types (helicopters, fighters and trainers), 2 groups by flying hours (≤2 000 h and >2 000 h) and 2 groups by body mass index (<24.0 kg/m 2 and ≥24.0 kg/m 2). The blood lipid abnormalities of these military flying personnel were compared across groups. Results:There was a significant difference in levels of total cholesterol ( F=3.77, P=0.024), triglyceride ( H=12.10, P=0.002) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( F=5.61, P=0.004) across age groups, but there was no significant difference in levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( P>0.05). There was no significant difference in levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol between military flying personnel working for different types of aircraft (all P>0.05). Levels of total cholesterol ( F=8.69, P=0.003), triglyceride ( Z=2.57, P=0.010) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( F=10.61, P=0.001) in the >2 000 h group were significantly higher than those in the ≤2 000 h group. There was no significant difference in levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol between groups of different flying hours ( P>0.05). The levels of total cholesterol ( F=10.39, P=0.002), triglyceride ( Z=4.05, P<0.001) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol ( F=12.73, P<0.001) in the body mass index ≥24 kg/m 2 group were significantly higher than those in the body mass index <24 kg/m 2 group. There was no significant difference in levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol between different body mass index groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:There were differences in the blood lipid abnormality among military flying personnel with different ages, flying hours and body mass index. It is critical to better manage the blood lipid indicators of flying personnel, provide early intervention and treatment, improve the rate of normal blood lipids, and ensure the health of flying personnel.

Objective:To dry fresh Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma using different drying conditions; To investigate the effects of different drying conditions on the drying characteristics and medicinal quality of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma. Methods:With moisture, powder color, extract, total polysaccharide and ginsenoside contents of Rg 1, Re, Rf, Rb 1, Rc, Rb 2 and Rd as indexes, the drying characteristics of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma were studied based on Weibull function model, and the quality of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma after drying was evaluated by entropy weight-TOPSIS model. Results:The drying method for Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma from its origin can be achieved by controlling the relative humidity of the drying medium to 50%, drying at 70 ℃ for 24 h, and then reducing the drying temperature to 60 ℃ until the moisture content was below 12.0%. This method could achieve high drying efficiency and produce high-quality Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma. Conclusions:The drying process of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma is a falling rate process controlled by internal moisture diffusion. The drying rate of fresh Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma is affected by temperature and humidity. There is a certain correlation between the color of powder and the content of moisture, alcohol-soluble extractives and ginsenosides.

Enzyme-driven micro/nanomotors consuming in situ chemical fuels have attracted lots of attention for biomedical applications. However, motor systems composed by organism-derived organics that maximize the therapeutic efficacy of enzymatic products remain challenging. Herein, swimming proteomotors based on biocompatible urease and human serum albumin are constructed for enhanced antitumor therapy via active motion and ammonia amplification. By decomposing urea into carbon dioxide and ammonia, the designed proteomotors are endowed with self-propulsive capability, which leads to improved internalization and enhanced penetration in vitro. As a glutamine synthetase inhibitor, the loaded l-methionine sulfoximine further prevents the conversion of toxic ammonia into non-toxic glutamine in both tumor and stromal cells, resulting in local ammonia amplification. After intravesical instillation, the proteomotors achieve longer bladder retention and thus significantly inhibit the growth of orthotopic bladder tumor in vivo without adverse effects. We envision that the as-developed swimming proteomotors with amplification of the product toxicity may be a potential platform for active cancer treatment.

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of microneedle radiofrequency in the treatment of moderate acne vulgaris. Methods:From August 2018 to August 2020, 393 patients (192 males and 201 females, aged 15-38 years) with moderate acne were enrolled in the Department of Dermatology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College and Shantou Chaonan Minsheng Hospital, including 201 patients in experimental group and 192 patients in control group. In the experimental group, microneedle radiofrequency therapy was used once every 2 weeks for 3 times in total. The control group adopted the fire needle, once every 2 weeks, a total of 3 times. The efficacy of both groups was evaluated at week 8.Results:A total of 378 patients were actually completed: 196 patients in the experimental group, and 182 patients in the control group. At the eighth week of follow-up, the total effective rate was 81.12% in the experimental group and 70.43% in the control group. The efficacy of the two groups was statistically different (χ 2=4.42, P<0.05). Conclusions:The efficacy of microneedle radiofrequency therapy in the treatment of moderate acne vulgaris is better than that of fire needle, with good tolerance, short recovery period, few adverse reactions and high compliance, which has clinical promotion value.
