Objective To develop a novel drainage catheter based on the anatomical structure of the mammary duct and establish a non-invasive treatment protocol for patients with acute high-tension breast milk cyst during lactation. Methods Ten primiparous patients with acute high-tension breast milk cyst during lactation, admitted to the postpartum clinics of three hospitals, were enrolled as study subjects.A novel drainage catheter was prepared using an epidural anesthesia catheter, and intubation was performed to unblock the obstructed mammary ducts. For cases with intubation failure, puncture as-piration was employed.Local cold compresses were applied to the breasts after treatment. Results Out of 10 patients,6 were successfully unblocked(successful group),and 4 failed(failure group). The duration of illness in the successful group was(6.00±0.82)days,which was shorter than that in the failure group[(9.50±1.80)days](P<0.05).The insertion depth of the catheter in the successful group was(6.42±0.67)cm,which was greater than that in the failure group[(4.00±0.71)cm](P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in cyst diameter between the two groups(P>0.05).For patients in whom unblocking failed, puncture aspiration was performed, and 3 of them experienced recurrence after the initial puncture.Ultrasound-guided re-puncture aspiration and weaning were performed. One patient with evident inflammatory symptoms was administered systemic antibiotic therapy. After treatment,7 patients resumed lactation, and follow-up results indicated that all 10 patients were cured. Conclusion Acute high-tension breast milk cyst during lactation is rela-tively rare in clinical practice. The novel drainage catheter can achieve non-invasive unblocking of distally obstructed mammary ducts in the lactiferous sinus. The comprehensive treatment protocol can improve the overall cure rate and result in a high rate of resumed lactation post-treatment.

Background and Objectives:
Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) often occurs suddenly and leads to fatal consequences. Ferroptosis is closely related to the progression of AMI.However, the specific mechanism of ferroptosis in AMI remains unclear.
Methods:
We constructed a cell model of AMI using AC16 cells under oxygen and glucose deprivation (OGD) conditions and a mice model of AMI using the left anterior descending (LAD) ligation. The 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2, 5 diphenyltetrazolium bromide was employed to determine cell viability. The levels of lactate dehydrogenase, creatine kinase, reactive oxygen species (ROS), glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), and iron were measured using corresponding kits. Dual luciferase reporter gene assay, RNAbinding protein immunoprecipitation, and RNA pull-down were performed to validate the correlations among AC005332.7, miR-331-3p, and cyclin D2 (CCND2). Hematoxylin and eosin staining was employed to evaluate myocardial damage.
Results:
AC005332.7 and CCND2 were lowly expressed, while miR-331-3p was highly expressed in vivo and in vitro models of AMI. AC005332.7 sufficiency reduced ROS, MDA, iron, and ACSL4 while boosting the GSH and GPX4, indicating that AC005332.7 sufficiency impeded ferroptosis to improve cardiomyocyte injury in AMI. Mechanistically, AC005332.7 interacted with miR-331-3p, and miR-331-3p targeted CCND2. Additionally, miR-331-3p overexpression or CCND2 depletion abolished the suppressive impact of AC005332.7 on ferroptosis in OGD-induced AC16 cells. Moreover, AC005332.7 overexpression suppressed ferroptosis in mice models of AMI.
Conclusions
AC005332.7 suppressed ferroptosis in OGD-induced AC16 cells and LAD ligation-operated mice through modulating miR-331-3p/CCND2 axis, thereby mitigating the cardiomyocyte injury in AMI, which proposed novel targets for AMI treatment.

Objective To analyze the effect of endoscopic middle turbinate angioplasty on postoperative nasal function and olfaction in patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyp. Methods Clinical materials of 80 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps were analyzed retrospectively, and they were divided into control group and research group,40 cases in each group.Control group was treated with endoscopic partial middle turbinate resection, while research group was treated with endoscopic middle turbinate angioplasty.Clinical efficacy, nasal function, olfactory function,SNOT-20CV score, and Lund-Kennedy scoring and complications were compared between two groups. Results Total effective rate of the research group was significantly higher than the control group (P <0.05).Before operation, nasal airway resistance and minimal nasal cross-section to anterior nostril distance (DCAN),nasal minimum cross-sectional area (NMCA),nasal volume (NCV),SNOT-20 CV,nasal endoscopic Lund-Kennedy scores showed no significant differences between two groups (P > 0.05).After operation, nasal airway resistance and DCAN and SNOT-20 CV,nasal endoscopic Lund-Kennedy scores decreased significantly in both groups, and these indexes in research group were significantly lower than the control group (P < O.05).The NMCA and NCV increased significantly in both groups, and these indexes in research group were significantly higher than control group (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in incidence rate of postoperative complications between the two groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic middle turbinate angioplasty is effective in treating chronic sinusitis patients with nasal polyp, which can effectively relieve nasal obstruction and promote nasal function and the sense of smell.
