ObjectiveTo systematically evaluate the application of narrative education in undergraduate nursing teaching, to understand the current application status of narrative education, and to provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent establishment of a sound narrative education system. MethodsA systematic search was conducted for studies published in Chinese and English databases on applying narrative education to undergraduate nursing teaching, with the search period ranging from database inception to February 23, 2025. Literature was screened, and relevant information was extracted. A rigorous quality evaluation was conducted on the included studies, and a descriptive analysis was performed on their content. ResultsA total of 20 papers were included, involving 3,180 research subjects, all of whom were undergraduate nursing students. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the teaching model of narrative education primarily encompassed reading narrative works, watching films and videos, performing narrative scenarios, and writing reflective journals. The course setting and content covered pre-teaching preparation and in-teaching implementation. The evaluation of teaching effectiveness included the evaluation of teachers’ teaching methods (student evaluation/self-evaluation) and the evaluation of students’ learning effectiveness (course grade evaluation/humanistic care scale/empathy scale assessment, and others). ConclusionNarrative education combines abstract concepts with concrete clinical situations, which not only enriches students’ learning experiences but also enhances their humanistic literacy. Meanwhile, it provides teachers with opportunities to develop their narrative teaching skills, which requires them to possess profound professional knowledge and employ narrative techniques to guide students in reflection and critical thinking, thereby improving teaching quality and learning outcomes. Future efforts should consistently deepen the connotation research of narrative education and build a systematic nursing education system.

INTRODUCTION:
Lecanemab has shown promise in treating early Alzheimer's disease (AD), but its safety and efficacy in Chinese populations remain unexplored. This study aimed to evaluate the safety and 6-month clinical outcomes of lecanemab in Chinese patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or mild AD.
METHODS:
In this single-arm, real-world study, participants with MCI due to AD or mild AD received biweekly intravenous lecanemab (10 mg/kg). The study was conducted at Hainan Branch, Ruijin Hospital Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Patient enrollment and baseline assessments commenced in November 2023. Safety assessments included monitoring for amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA) and other adverse events. Clinical and biomarker changes from baseline to 6 months were evaluated using cognitive scales (mini-mental state examination [MMSE], montreal cognitive assessment [MoCA], clinical dementia rating-sum of boxes [CDR-SB]), plasma biomarker analysis, and advanced neuroimaging.
RESULTS:
A total of 64 patients were enrolled in this ongoing real-world study. Safety analysis revealed predominantly mild adverse events, with infusion-related reactions (20.3%, 13/64) being the most common. Of these, 69.2% (9/13) occurred during the initial infusion and 84.6% (11/13) did not recur. ARIA-H (microhemorrhages/superficial siderosis) and ARIA-E (edema/effusion) were observed in 9.4% (6/64) and 3.1% (2/64) of participants, respectively, with only two symptomatic cases (one ARIA-E presenting with headache and one ARIA-H with visual disturbances). After 6 months of treatment, cognitive scores remained stable compared to baseline (MMSE: 22.33 ± 5.58 vs . 21.27 ± 4.30, P = 0.733; MoCA: 16.38 ± 6.67 vs . 15.90 ± 4.78, P = 0.785; CDR-SB: 2.30 ± 1.65 vs . 3.16 ± 1.72, P = 0.357), while significantly increasing plasma amyloid-β 42 (Aβ42) (+21.42%) and Aβ40 (+23.53%) levels compared to baseline.
CONCLUSIONS:
Lecanemab demonstrated a favorable safety profile in Chinese patients with early AD. Cognitive stability and biomarker changes over 6 months suggest potential efficacy, though high dropout rates and absence of a control group warrant cautious interpretation. These findings provide preliminary real-world evidence for lecanemab's use in China, supporting further investigation in larger controlled studies.

Chinese Journal of Radiological Health 2025;34(6):800-804
Objective To analyze the differences and connections between the current grading and classification methods for nuclear medicine workplaces, and to provide technical guidance for environmental impact assessments and technical reviews. Methods By comparing the objects, purposes, and computational approaches between the two methods, this article illustrates the usage of both methods through specific examples and analyzes the relationship between them. Results The two methods differed in objects, purposes, and computational approaches. The A, B, and C grading scheme was primarily used to establish the level of administrative supervision for an entire nuclear medicine workplace. In contrast, the I, II, and III classification system specifies the hardware facilities and engineering protection requirements of internal places or rooms. Conclusion These two methods are complementary and collectively provide a complete framework for the assessment of nuclear medicine workplaces.

Acta Anatomica Sinica 2025;56(5):557-565
Objective To investigate the spatio-temporal expression of nuclear receptor subfamily 0 group B member 1(NR0B1)in synovial tissues of rheumatoid arthritis(RA),and to uncover the potential upstream signalling pathway that may regulate NR0B1 expression in human fibroblast-like synovial cells, thereby clarifying the possible factors that induce the disorder of NR0B1 expression in RA.Methods Patients with 25 RA and 18 osteoarthritis(OA)who did not receive any immunotherapy were recruited to obtain the synovial tissues of knee joint,as well as their related clinical test information, and the expression characteristics of NR0B1 in synovial tissue were investigated using Real-time PCR,Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and double immunofluorescent staining.Meanwhile,Pearson Chi-square test was used to evaluate the correlation between NR0B1 mRNA expression level and clinical parameters in RA patients.Furthermore, the MH7ANR0B1-/-cells that were stably knocked down of endogenous NR0B1 were generated, and the effects of NR0B1 deficiency on the phenotype of rheumatoid synovial cells enhanced by vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)were then evaluated by means of cell viability and apoptosis assays, colony formation assay, wound healing assay, and cell invasion assay.Last,we studied the molecular mechanism underlying interleuikin 6(IL-6)-mediated regulation of NR0B1 expression at the transcriptional level by using the STAT3-specific inhibitor intervention,siRNA,and dual luciferase reporter gene detection. Results The expression level of NR0B1 mRNA in the RA synovial tissues was significantly higher than that in synovial tissues from OA patients(P<0.05).This trend of the increased NR0B1 mRNA expression correlated to clinical parameters, including C-reactive protein(CRP),rheumatoid factor(RF)and erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),in RA patients.NR0B1 protein was predominantly immunolocalized in fibroblast-like synoviocytes of RA synovial tissues.Functionally, knockdown of NR0B1 expression markedly neutralize the VEGF-mediated enhancement of cell viability, resistance to apoptosis, clonogenicity,as well as migration and invasion in the MH7A cells.Additionally,IL-6 could specifically regulate NR0B1 expression in the MH7A synovial cells.IL-6 upregulated the transcriptional expression of NR0B1 mainly through induction of the phosphorylation of its downstream STAT3 at the Tyr-705 site. Conclusion The upregulated NR0B1 expression in fibroblast-like synoviocytes is positively correlated with the progression of RA.The proinflammatory cytokine IL-6 potentiates the transactivation of NR0B1 by inducing the phosphorylation of Tyr-705 site of its downstream effector STAT3.NR0B1 may be a significant breakthrough point for understanding the interaction between IL-6 and VEGF signaling pathways and the progression of RA.

Aim To explore the mechanism of the syn-ergistic effect of the ferroptosis inducer erastin com-bined with shikonin in promoting ferroptosis in human hypertrophic scar fibroblasts(HSFBs).Methods Hypertrophic scar tissues provided by the General Hos-pital of Ningxia Medical University were collected, and HSFBs were extracted.HSFBs were identified by HE staining and immunofluorescence. The inhibitory rates of Era and SHK on HSFBs at different concentrations were detected by CCK-8 assay, and the IC50 value was calculated.CompuSyn software was used to calculate the co-use index(CI).Control group,Erastin(Era)group, shikonin(SHK)group and Era+SHK group were set up,and the number and morphological chan-ges of cells were observed after 24 hours of interven-tion.The ability of cell migration and invasion was de-tected by scratch test and Transwell test. The changes of malondialdehyde(MDA),total iron ion and reactive oxygen species(ROS)were detected by corresponding biochemical kits. The expressions of collagen I,α-SMA and GOT1,SLC7A11,GPX4 and FTH1 were detected by Western blot. Results The IC50 value of Era and SHK of primary HSFBs was 2.22 μmol·L-1 and 3.94μmol·L-1 respectively, which was used as the single drug concentration for subsequent experiments. The CompuSyn software was employed to calculate the CI value when the two drugs were used in combination, and the concentrations corresponding to CI=0.39597(Era:1.2 μmol·L-1+SHK:1.5 μmol·L-1)were selected as subsequent combination concentrations(Because when CI was equal to 0.395 97,the concen-tration of each drug was lower than the concentration of single drug, and the inhibition rate of combined drug was greater than 50%).Compared with the monother-apy group, the number of HSFBs in the SHK+Era group was significantly reduced, cell membrane showed breakage and vesiculation, cell wrinkling became smal-ler,and cytoplasm was concentrated. The migration and invasion ability of HSFBs in the SHK+Era group were obviously weakened(P<0.05),and the expres-sion of fibrosis-related proteins collagen Ⅰ and α-SMA was reduced(P<0.05);the contents of MDA,total i-ron ions, and ROS in HSFBs of the SHK+Era group increased(P<0.05),and the protein expression lev-els of SLC7A11,GOT1,GPX4,and FTH1 further de-creased(P<0.05).Conclusions Erastin in combi-nation with shikonin can synergistically inhibit the pro-liferation,migration and fibrosis levels of HSFBs.The mechanism may be that erastin enhances the inhibition of shikotin on GOT1,increases the levels of cellular i-ron ions,ROS,and lipid peroxides, thereby promoting ferroptosis in HSFBs.
