3.Absorption of irrigation fluid occurs during 1470 nm diode laser vaporization of the prostate

Objective To investigate and evaluate the effects and safety of the operationabsorption of irrigation fluid occurs during 1470 nm diode laser vaporization of the prostate by ethano. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data about 32 cases of BPH treated by 1470 nm diode laser vaporization from May 2016 to December 2016 intraoperative use of isotonic saline contains 1.0% ethanol as perfusion fluid, monitor the patients' breath ethanol concentration, calculation of perfusion fluid absorption. Results All the operations were successfully completed, the average operation time was (57.6 ± 32.9) min, the average perfusion fluid volume was (21.5 ± 9.9) L, only 5 cases detected perfusion fluid absorption, the average absorptive amount was (156.8 ± 111.7) ml. During operation, all the patients with stable breathing, circulation, no alcohol poisoning symptoms, no bleeding, capsular perforation, cardiorespiratory failure occurred. All the 32 cases patients were followed up for 3 months, which revealed a significant improvement in dysuresia, no severe complications such as urethrostenosis, urinary incontinence, secondary hemorrhage were noted. Conclusion Fluid absorption little occurs during 1470 nm diode laser vaporization, it is safe and effective in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

The repellent activity of α-pinene, β-pinene, and twenty four terpenoids derived from α-pinene or β-pinene against Germen cockroaches, Blattella germanica, were tested with dipped filter paper.Twenty of the tested compounds showed positive repellent activity at the concentration of 20 mg/mL.Menthol held the most powerful activity with the repellent rate of 68.9%, demonstrating its promising prospect in cockroach control.Three-dimensional structure of twenty-six terpenoid compounds were built and optimized by GAUSSIAN software.Descriptors for those structures were calculated from AMPAC and CODESSA software.Descriptors screening and the quantitative structure-activity relationship ( QSAR) building were carried out by applying heuristic approach in CODESSA software.The optimal model with correlation coefficient R2 of 0.7923 was obtained.The model, i.e.Repellent rate (%) Y=269.13+15.36X1 -77.16X2 +0.83X3+1.38X4 +0.83X5 +2.58X6, shows that six principal activity-affecting parameters X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6 were Max atomic state energy for a H atom, FPSA-3 Fractional PPSA (PPSA-3/TMSA), Tot hybridization comp.of the molecular dipole, Max atomic state energy for a C atom, ESP-FNSA-2 Fractional PNSA ( PNSA-2/TMSA) and Image of the Onsager-Kirkwood solvation energy respectively.
5.GENOMIC STRUCTURE AND EFFICACY PRESUMPTION OF THE PARTIAL PROPHENOLOXIDASE GENE(PPO1 AND PPO2) ON THE MALARIA VECTOR ANOPHELES SINENSIS

Prophenoloxidase, a melanin-synthesizing enzyme, is considered to be an important arthropod immune protein. In order to clone the prophenoloxidase gene of Anopheles sinensis, degenerative primers were designed according to the conserved protein fragments of prophenoloxidase gene from sibling species deposited on GenBank. RNA sequence of adult An. sinensis was reverse-transcripted into cDNA strand which was amplified by PCR to get the 600 bp target fragment, the partial prophenoloxidase cDNA sequence. The target fragment was cloned into PMD18-T vector and sequenced. The partial cDNA sequences of prophenoloxidase of An. sinensis was identified and named ASPPO1, ASPPO2 respectively. The homology blasted with An. gambiae ranged from 57.58% to 100%. The two sequences were submitted to NCBI with the accessing number: JX295575, JX295576. The rooted phylogenetic tree showed the homology with PPO2 of An. gambiae. The putative amino acid fragments were submitted to Swiss-model blasting with An. gambiae to simulate the 3D spatial structure. The QMEAN score of the model showed a further study was needed to ensure whether the two PPO genes were from the midgut and hemolymph against plasmodium or not.
