Objective To investigate the expression of alcohol dehydrogenase 5(ADH5)mRNA and FUN14 domain containing 1(FUNDC1)mRNA in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)tissues and their relationship with clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis.Methods Collected clinical data of 332 patients who received treatment and non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)diagnosed through postoperative puthology at Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital from July 2019 to July 2021.Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was used to measure the expression of ADH5 mRNA and FUNDC1 mRNA in NSCLC tissues and corresponding adjacent tissues(>5cm from the edge of the cancer tissue),and the expression differences and their correlation with the clinical and pathological characteristics of NSCLC patients were analyzed by t-test.Pearson rank correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between ADH5 mRNA and FUNDC1 mRNA.Kaplan-Meier method was used to analyze the relationship between the expression of ADH5 mRNA and FUNDC1 mRNA and the prognosis of NSCLC patients.Results The results of qRT-PCR showed that the expression level of ADH5 mRNA(0.56±0.30)in NSCLC tissues was significantly lower than that in paracancer normal tissues(1.03±0.50),and the expression level of FUNDC1 mRNA(2.91±1.02)was significantly higher than that in paracancer normal tissues(1.20±0.83),and the differences were statistically significant(t=14.687,23.694,all P<0.05).Correlation test by Pearson method showed that the expression of ADH5 mRNA and FUNDC1 mRNA in NSCLC tissues was significantly negatively correlated(r=-0.869,P=0.006).The expression of ADH5 mRNA in NSCLC tissues with age<55 years,TNM stage III,low differentiation and concurrent lymph node metastasis was lower than that in NSCLC tissues with age≥55 years,TNM stage I/II,high/moderate differentiation and no lymph node metastasis(t=1.866～6.087),the expression of FUNDC1 mRNA in NSCLC tissues with low differentiation and concurrent lymph node metastasis was higher than that in NSCLC tissues with high/moderate differentiation and no lymph node metastasis(t=4.652,2.787),and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that the cumulative overall survival rate of the high ADH5 mRNA expression group(66.99%)was significantly higher than that of the low ADH5 mRNA expression group(54.15%).The cumulative overall survival rate of low FUNDC1 mRNA expression group(69.47%)was significantly higher than that of high FUNDC1 mRNA expression group(53.59%)and the differences were statistically significant(Log Rankχ2=5.760,5.165,P=0.016,0.023).Conclusion Low expression of ADH5 mRNA and high expression of FUNDC1mRNA in tumor tissues of patients with NSCLC may be involved in the occurrence and metastasis of NSCLC,which is expected to become a reference index for diagnosis,treatment and prognosis prediction.

Objective:To explore the factors influencing adherence to voice therapy among patients with voice disorders in China. Methods:Patients with voice disorders who visited the Voice Therapy Center at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, from February to May 2022 were enrolled in the study. Adherence was assessed using the URICA-Voice scale, while influencing factors were assessed through the Voice Handicap Index（VHI） scale and a general information questionnaire. Correlation analysis was conducted using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results:A total of 247 patients were included in the study, comprising 57 males（23.08%） and 190 females（76.92%）. The results revealed that: ①Female patients demonstrated higher likelihood of being in the contemplation stage（OR=0.22） compared to males. ②Patients with a monthly family income per capita>6 000 yuan were more likely to be in the contemplation stage than those with<3 000 yuan with an OR = 13.94. ③High vocal-demand occupations increased contemplation stage probability（OR=7.70） compared to moderate-demand occupations. ④Residence within 30-minute commute predicted action/maintenance stages（OR=7.14） versus≥60-minute commute. ⑤Patients whose occupations had high voice demands were more likely to be in the action and maintenance stages than those with average voice demands, with an OR of 16.20. Conclusion:Gender, monthly family income per capita, occupational voice demands, and distance to the hospital significantly impact the URICA-Voice compliance stages of patients. Patients who are female, have higher family income, have occupations with high voice demands, and live closer to the hospital exhibit higher compliance with voice training.

Objective:To analyze the etiology, diagnosis, treatment of cholesteatoma of temporal bone complicated with brain abscess. Methods:A total of 27 patients with cholesteatoma complicated with brain abscess admitted to the Peoples Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from January 2008 to January 2024 were collected, and their clinical characteristics and treatment methods were summarized. Results:Tow patients underwent modify radical mastoidectomy and eliminate abscess by pricking. The other patients underwent ear surgery after neurosurgical treatment of brain abscess. Among them, 19 cases underwent open craniotomy for brain abscess and 5 cases with small abscess were transferred to otorhinolaryngology for radical mastoidectomy after transcranial drainage. Only one patient died, the other patients had a good prognosis without recurrence. Conclusion:OBA is the most serious complication of temporal cholesteatoma with a high mortality rate, and MRI can assist in early diagnosis. Early treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration can improve the cure rate of the disease.

Objective To analyze the current status and influencing factors of occupational stress, job burnout and sleep quality among workers in the secondary industry in Jinshan District, Shanghai City. Methods A total of 1 418 workers from six key industries in Jinshan District, Shanghai City were selected as the study subjects by the stratified cluster sampling method. The Occupational Stress Core Scale, Maslash Burnout Inventory General Survey and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index were used to investigate occupational stress, job burnout and sleep quality of the workers. Results The detection rates of occupational stress, job burnout and sleep disturbance among the study subjects were 33.6%, 65.4% and 23.3%, respectively. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the workers with a monthly income <5 000 yuan had a higher risk of occupational stress than those with a monthly income ≥5 000 yuan (P<0.01). The workers with ≥5.0 years of service had a higher risk than those with <1.0 year (P<0.05). Lack of physical exercise, employment in medium- and large-sized enterprises, and shift work were risk factors of occupational stress in the workers (all P<0.01). The workers aged 18-<30 years had a higher risk of job burnout than those aged 45-<60 years (P<0.05). The workers monthly income <5 000 yuan was associated with a higher risk of job burnout than those with ≥9 000 yuan (P<0.05). The workers with 1.0-<10.0 years or ≥15.0 years of service had higher job burnout risks than those with <1.0 year (all P<0.05). Being unmarried, lack of physical exercise, and employment in medium- and large-sized enterprises were risk factor of job burnout in the workers (all P<0.05). The workers with an educational level of high school or above had a higher risk of sleep disturbance than those with junior school or below (P<0.05). The workers who work >56 hours per week had a higher risk than those working ≤40 hours per week (P<0.01). Conclusion There is a high detection rate of occupational stress, job burnout, and sleep disturbance in the secondary industry workers in Jinshan District, Shanghai City. Special attention should be given to workers with low income, lack of physical exercise, employment in medium- and large-sized enterprises, shift work, long service duration, and long weekly working hours to protect their physical and mental health.

[摘 要] 目的：构建负载二氧化锰（MnO2）纳米颗粒的可得然（Cur）复合水凝胶MnO2@Cur（简称MGel），研究其对黑色素瘤B16-F10细胞的杀伤效果。方法：采用热诱导法制备Cur水凝胶（Gel），物理负载MnO2构建MGel，表征其宏观和微观形貌，检测其机械性能、降解性能以及光热转换性能等理化性能，并研究其联合PTT对小鼠皮肤黑色素瘤B16-F10细胞的光热杀伤效果。结果：MGel具有优异的机械和可降解性能，抗拉伸强度达（127.97±3.60）kPa、抗压缩强度达（151.44±5.23）kPa，28 d降解率约58.17%。MGel负载MnO2纳米片（粒径约180 nm）获得优异的光热转换性能，负载1.0 mg/mL MnO2的MGel在1.0 W/cm2的808 nm NIR光照4 min后到达最高温度50 ℃。细胞毒性实验和Calcein-AM/PI荧光双染色实验表明，MGel联合PTT有效杀伤B16-F10黑色素瘤细胞，NIR光照使得MGel组细胞存活率降低至（4.68±0.66）%（P<0.000 1）。结论：MGel复合水凝胶具备优异的机械性能、可降解性能以及光热转换性能，其联合PTT能有效杀伤肿瘤细胞，可能成为一种有效治疗黑色素瘤的新手段。

Autapses selectively form in specific cell types in many brain regions. Previous studies have also found putative autapses in principal spiny projection neurons (SPNs) in the striatum. However, it remains unclear whether these neurons indeed form physiologically functional autapses. We applied whole-cell recording in striatal slices and identified autaptic cells by the occurrence of prolonged asynchronous release (AR) of neurotransmitters after bursts of high-frequency action potentials (APs). Surprisingly, we found no autaptic AR in SPNs, even in the presence of Sr²⁺. However, robust autaptic AR was recorded in parvalbumin (PV)-expressing neurons. The autaptic responses were mediated by GABA_A receptors and their strength was dependent on AP frequency and number. Further computer simulations suggest that autapses regulate spiking activity in PV cells by providing self-inhibition and thus shape network oscillations. Together, our results indicate that PV neurons, but not SPNs, form functional autapses, which may play important roles in striatal functions.

Objective:To translate the University of Rhode Island Change Assessment of voice scale（URICA-Voice） into Chinese and test its reliability and validity. Methods:The URICA-Voice scale was converted into Chinese by literal translation, cultural adjustment, expert consultation, pre-investigation, and back translation. Convenience sampling was used to recruit patients at four speech therapy centers from February to May 2022. Then the Chinese version of the scale was distributed to them, and the reliability and validity of the scale were tested after data collection. Cronbach ɑ was used to evaluate the reliability. The critical ratio method and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for item analysis. Item-level content validity, scale-level content validity, and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the validity of the scale. Results:A total of 247 valid questionnaires were collected. ①Item analysis: the critical ratios between a high-score and low-score groups of 32 items were all statistically significant（P<0.01） and all the critical ratios were above 3.00. The Pearson correlation between 32 items and the total score was significant（P<0.01）. ②Validity analysis: I-CVI=1.00, S-CVI/Ave=1.00, χ²/df=2.30, RMSEA=0.07. Except for item 9 and 23, the standardized factor loading coefficients of other items were all above 0.50. AVE of the four dimensions of the scale was all above 0.50, and the combined reliability of the four dimensions was all above 0.70. The correlation coefficients between dimensions were less than the square root of the AVE of the dimension itself. ③Reliability analysis: the Cronbach ɑ of the whole scale was 0.94, and the Cronbach ɑ of the four dimensions were 0.88, 0.92, 0.94, and 0.88 respectively. Conclusion:The Chinese version of URICA-Voice has good reliability and validity, and can be used as a specific measurement tool for evaluating the compliance of voice training in China.

Objective:To study the relationship between red blood cell distribution width(RDW)and short-term mortality in elderly patients with hip fragility fractures.Methods:The clinical data and blood routine test at admission of 205 elderly patients with brittle hip fractures who were admitted to our hospital from 2020 to 2021 and were followed up for one year were retrospectively analyzed.The comorbid conditions, RDW and cumulative mortality at 6 months and 1 year after fractures were counted, and the relationship between RDW and short-term mortality were analyzed.Results:The 6-month(6.7% and 20.8%, χ2=8.591, P=0.003)and 1-year(6.7% and 26.7%, χ2=14.818, P<0.001)mortality of patients with ≤1 comorbidity were significantly lower than those of patients with ≥2 comorbidities.Moreover, the 6-month and 1-year mortality in patients with RDW>13.5% were significantly higher than those of patients with RDW ≤ 13.5%.The proportion of RDW>13.5 % in patients with at least two comorbidities was significantly higher than that in patients with ≤1 comorbidity.Taking RDW=13.6% as the cut-off value of 6-month and 1-year mortality, the sensitivity and specificity for predicting 6-month mortality were 71.4 % and 59.9 %, respectively, and the sensitivity and specificity for predicting 1-year mortality were 64.7 % and 59.6 %, respectively. Conclusions:Red cell distribution width is associated with short-term mortality, and higher RDW is associated with a higher risk of mortality among elderly patients with brittle hip fractures.

Dravet syndrome is a epileptic syndrome characterized by drug-resistant epilepsy occuring at childhood. It is often accompanied by status epilepticus and cognitive and language impairment appearing gradually as the disease progresses. The effect of antiepileptic drugs and resection epilepsy surgery on Dravet syndrome is poor although neuromodulation surgery, especially vagus nerve stimulation, is an effective and feasible treatment for Dravet syndrome. In this article we reported a case of Dravet syndrome treated with vagus nerve stimulation, relevant literature was reviewed and summarized at the same time. A total of 141 cases of Dravet treated by vagus nerve stimulation were collected, and the overall effective rate was 53.9%.
