Objective To construct and validate a risk prediction model for in-hospital death af-ter successful resuscitation in patients with cardiac arrest.Methods A retrospective study was con-ducted on 295 patients with cardiac arrest who successfully restored spontaneous circulation after car-diopulmonary resuscitation and were further treated in hospital.The patients were divided into training and validation sets using K-fold cross-validation and then grouped and compared based on whether in-hospital death occurred.A binary Logistic regression analysis was used to screen risk prediction fac-tors,and a nomogram prediction model was constructed.The model performance was evaluated and validated in the training and validation sets,respectively.Results The results of the multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that hospitalization duration(OR=1.180;95％CI,1.080 to 1.280;P＜0.001),norepinephrine dose(OR=0.980;95％CI,0.970 to 0.990;P=0.002),ini-tial respiratory rate after resuscitation(OR=1.090;95％CI,1.030 to 1.150;P=0.004),and sinus rhythm recovery after resuscitation(OR=4.280;95％CI,1.670 to 10.980;P=0.003)were inde-pendent influencing factors for in-hospital death.A nomogram model was constructed based on these in-dependent influencing factors,and it was verified that the model had good discrimination,calibration,applicability,and rationality.Conclusion The influencing factors for in-hospital death after successful resuscitation in patients with cardiac arrest include hospitalization duration,norepinephrine dose,initial respiratory rate after resuscitation,and sinus rhythm recovery after resuscitation.The nomo-gram model constructed based on these factors can provide a reference for clinical decision-making.

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effectiveness of ozone combined with low-temperature plasma coagulation therapy on patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and its influence on inflammatory responses.Methods Ozone in combination with low-temperature plasma radio-frequency coagulation was applied to 75 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in Pain Medicine Department of Capital Medical University Affiliated Beijing Anzhen Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023.Pain scores were assessed using Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and Neck Disability Index(NDI)before and two weeks after treatment.Enzyme-linked immunosor-bent assay(ELISA)was used to analyze the level of tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6)and interferon-gamma(IFN-γ)before and two weeks after treatment.Results After treatment with ozone plus low-temperature plasma radiofrequency,VAS and NDI scores showed a significant decrease[VAS:5.36(4,7)vs.1.32(1,2),P＜0.000 1;NDI:32.72(24,70)vs.7.62(3.55,8.9),P＜0.000 1].Two weeks after surgical intervention,there was an effective reduction in the level of IL-6,TNF-αand IFN-γ alleviating the inflammatory re-sponse[IL-6:4.33(2.51,5.04)vs.3.49(2.08,4.43),P＜0.05;TNF-α:1.95(1.41,2.21)vs.1.61(1.02,2.03),P＜0.05;IFN-γ:1.84(1.18,2.47)vs.1.55(0.76,2.09),P＜0.05].Conclusions This Ozone combined with low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation is an effective technology for treatment of cer-vical spondylotic radiculopathy.

Objective To establish a HS-GC test method for the determination of enflurane,isoflurane,diflurane,sevoflurane and its metabolite hexafluoroisopropanol(HFIP)in blood,and to establish a LC-MS/MS method for the determination of trifluoroacetic acid(TFA),the co-metabolite of enflurane,isoflurane,and deflurane in blood.Methods Place 0.5 mL blood sample in a 10 mL headspace bottle,add 1.0 mL ultrapure water to mix,then add 0.5 mL n-butanol internal standard solution,sealed and heated at 70℃for 20 min,take the upper layer of gas for HS-GC analysis,qualitatived by dual-column retention time and quantified by the internal standard curve;Blood sample was acetonitrile precipitated protein,separated by liquid chromatography,scanned with electrospray ionization(ESI),negative ion mode,and examined in multiple reaction monitoring mode(MRM),qualitatived by retention time and characteristic ions,quantified by standard curve.Results The detection limits(LOD)of enflurane,isoflurane,desflurane,heptaflurane,HFIP and TFA are 0.05,0.2,0.5,0.05,0.5 μg/mL and 0.5 ng/mL,and linear range as 1～100 μg/mL(TFA:1～100 ng/mL),with correlation coefficients greater than 0.999.The extraction recovery rate is between 30%and 80%,and the intra-day and inter-day precision are less than 5%.The accuracy is between 85%and 115%.Conclusion This method is quick and simple,and can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of enflurane,isoflurane,desflurane,sevoflurane and their metabolites in blood.

OBJECTIVES: Patients with classical type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) require lifelong dependence on exogenous insulin therapy due to pancreatic beta-cell destruction and absolute insulin deficiency. T1DM accounts for about 90% of children with diabetes in China, with a rapid increase in incidence and a younger-age trend. Epidemiological studies have shown that the overall glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) and compliance rate are low in Chinese children with T1DM. Optimal glucose control is the key for diabetes treatment, and maintaining blood glucose within the target range can prevent or delay chronic vascular complications in patients with T1DM. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the glycemic control of children with T1DM from Hunan and Henan Province with flash glucose monitoring system (FGMS), and to explore factors associated with glycemic variability. METHODS: A total of 215 children with T1DM under 14 years old were enrolled continuously in 16 hospitals from August 2017 to August 2020. All subjects wore a FGMS device to collect glucose data. Correlation of HbA1c, duration of diabetes, or glucose scan rates with glycemic variability was analyzed. Glucose variability was compared according to the duration of diabetes, HbA1c, glucose scan rates and insulin schema. RESULTS: HbA1c and duration of diabetes were positively correlated with mean blood glucose, standard deviation of glucose, mean amplitude of glucose excursions (MAGE), and coefficient of variation (CV) of glucose (all P<0.01). The glucose scan rates during FGMS wearing was significantly positively correlated with time in range (TIR) (P=0.001) and negatively correlated with MAGE and mean duration of hypoglycemia (all P<0.01). Children with duration ≤1 year had lower time below range (TBR) and MAGE when compared with those with duration >1 year (all P<0.05). TIR and TBR in patients with HbA1c ≤7.5% were higher (TIR: 65% vs 45%, TBR: 5% vs 4%, P<0.05), MAGE was lower (7.0 mmol/L vs 9.4 mmol/L, P<0.001) than those in HbA1c >7.5% group. Compared to the multiple daily insulin injections group, TIR was higher (60% vs 52%, P=0.006), MAGE was lower (P=0.006) in the continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion group. HbA1c was lower in the high scan rates (≥14 times/d) group (7.4% vs 8.0%, P=0.046), TIR was significantly higher (58% vs 47%, P<0.001), and MAGE was lower (P<0.001) than those in the low scan rate (<14 times/d) group. CONCLUSIONS The overall glycemic control of T1DM patients under 14 years old in Hunan and Henan Province is under a high risk of hypoglycemia and great glycemic variability. Shorter duration of diabetes, targeted HbA1c, higher glucose scan rates, and CSII are associated with less glycemic variability.

OBJECTIVE： To investigate the effects of Kangfuxin liquid on repairing cartilage defect model of knee osteoarthritis （KOA） in rabbits and its mechanism. METHODS： Totally 72 male New Zealand rabbits were selected and randomly divided into model control group and Kangfuxin low-dose， medium-dose， high-dose groups， with 18 rabbits in each group. A cartilage defect model of the medial femoral condyle of the right knee joint in rabbits was established by drilling after anesthesia surgery. Then the rabbits in each group were given medicine via articular cavity immediately. Kangfuxin low-dose， middle-dose and high-dose groups were given 20％， 40％， 80％ Kangfuxin liquid； model control group was given constant volume of normal saline consecutively， 0.2 mL/kg， once every 3 days. At 4th， 8th， 12th week after medication， the wound repair of cartilage defect in rabbits was observed. Immediately after medication and at 4th， 8th， 12th week after medication， repaired tissue of cartilage defect in rabbits was scored histologically with Wakitani scoring standard under light microscope. At 12th week after medication， pathological changes of repaired tissue of cartilage defect in rabbits were observed by Masson staining. The levels of NO， SOD and LPO in joint fluid and PYD in urine of rabbits were detected by ELISA. RESULTS： At 4th， 8th， 12th week after medication， compared with model control group， cartilage defects in rabbits were repaired well in Kangfuxin low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups. At 4th， 8th， 12th week after medication， compared with immediately after medication and model control group at same time point， histomorphological score of repairing cartilage defect of knee joint in rabbits decreased significantly in Kangfuxin low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups （P＜0.05）. At 12th week after medication， compared with model control group， the histopathology degree of cartilage defect of knee joint in rabbits was significantly alleviated in Kangfuxin low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups. At 4th， 8th， 12th week after medication， compared with model control group， the levels of NO and LPO in joint fluid and PYD level in urine were decreased to different extent in Kangfuxin low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups， while SOD level was increased to different extent； at 12th week after medication， the difference of each index has statistical significance （P＜0.05 or P＜0.01）. CONCLUSIONS： Kangangxin liquid can significantly repair cartilage defect of KOA cartilage defect model rabbits， the mechanism of which may be associated with increasing the expression of SOD and mediating NO-inhibited chondrocyte apoptosis.

Hemagglutinin (HA) contains a head domain with a high degree of variability and a relatively conserved stem region. HA is the major viral antigen on the surface of the influenza virus. To define the biologic activities of chimeric HA bearing different head domains and stem regions or their potential use, a HA chimeric gene containing the head domain of the H7 subtype virus and stem region of the H3 subtype virus was modified and expressed using a baculovirus expression vector. Then, the secreted protein was purified and its biologic activities characterized. Approximately 1.4 mg/mL cH7/3 HA could be obtained, and its molecular weight was ≈ 70 kD. The trimer form of cH7/3 protein had hemagglutination activity and could be recognized by specific antibodies. The method described here can be used for further studies on the screening of HA stem-reactive antibodies or the development of vaccines with conserved epitopes.
