Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors, with rapid progression and a poor prognosis. More and more studies have shown that there are small open reading frames (sORFs) on the molecular sequences of a large number of non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), which can encode conserved peptides that play an important role in controlling the occurrence and development of HCC. This article introduces the discovery, prediction, and validation methods of ncRNA-encoding polypeptides and reviews its research progress, with the aim of providing new targets and ideas for early-stage diagnosis, targeted therapy, and prognosis assessment of HCC.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common liver malignant tumor with complex pathogenesis and a poor prognosis. Metabolic reprogramming has been recognized as one of the important cancer markers, and the liver, as an important organ for lipid metabolism in the human body, plays an important role in the process of the occurrence and development of HCC. More and more evidence shows that long-chain non-coding RNA (lncRNA) can influence the lipid metabolism process by regulating key enzymes and transcription factors, as well as being involved in the occurrence and development of HCC. Therefore, explicating the mechanism of lncRNA in lipid metabolism reprogramming is conducive to providing new targets and strategies for the diagnosis and treatment and improving the prognosis of HCC patients. This article summarizes the latest research progress on the involvement of lncRNA in the reprogramming process of HCC lipid metabolism.

For Perihilar cholangiocarcinoma (pCCA), surgical resection is the only effective way to cure this disease. However, it has high postoperative mortality and high recurrence rate. Domestic and foreign scholars have constructed statistics-based evaluation methods to predict patients′ postoperative survival and complications, such as nomogram, scoring system and other prognostic models. Based on these methods, clinicians can better select patients who can benefit from surgery and choose the optimal? treatment for more severe patients. Through the adoption of other treatments or some ways to ameliorate some preoperative condition, to improve the patient′s mortality and survival. This article reviews the prognostic risk factors and prognostic models of pCCA in order to provide a reference for clinicians to predict the prognosis about the surgery.

Abstract: Objective　To understand the situation of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) screening in schools of various levels and types in Guizhou Province, and to provide a scientific basis for strengthening the proactive detection and effective prevention and control measures for TB in key age groups in schools. Methods　In 2021, proactive screening and entrance physical examination were conducted for new students and faculty members in Guizhou Province. "Tuberculosis Screening Questionnaire for Schools in Guizhou Province" was filled out, and the physical examination information was uploaded through the "Healthy Guizhou Smart Disease Control Cloud Platform". According to the Prevention and Control Guidelines of China's Learning Schedule (2020 edition), different screening methods were adopted for different physical examination subjects. The main screening methods included three types, namely tuberculin skin test, chest X-ray examination (X-ray chest X-ray), and investigation of suspicious symptoms of pulmonary tuberculosis. Results　A total of 1 789 108 students from 18 192 schools were screened, including 1 739 680 new students who underwent physical examinations, 16 922 students who underwent middle and high school entrance examinations, and 32 506 teachers and staff who underwent physical examinations. In 2021, the reported TB incidence rate in Guizhou Province was 85.40 per 100 000, with the highest rates reported in Bijie City, Qiannan Prefecture, and Zunyi City. Symptom screening was conducted for 58 380 individuals across nine cities and prefectures, of which 3 440 individuals (5.89%) presented with suspicious symptoms; PPD tests were conducted for 1 180 442 individuals, with 22 175 cases (1.88%) testing strongly positive; chest X-ray screening involved 366 170 individuals, with 2 837 individuals (0.77%) showing abnormal chest radiographs. The proportion of individuals with suspicious symptoms in public schools (8.11%) was higher than in private schools (1.63%); non-boarding schools had a higher proportion of individuals with suspicious symptoms (6.06%) compared to boarding schools (5.46%). Among the different school types, vocational schools had the highest proportion of individuals with suspicious symptoms (9.09%), while vocational high schools had the lowest (0.32%); these differences were statistically significant (χ2=994.19, 7.69, and 1 257.5, all P<0.01). The proportion of strong positive students in boarding schools (2.15%) was higher than that in non-boarding schools (1.32%), with a statistically significant difference (χ2=981.40, P<0.01); among school types, universities had the highest rate of strong positivity (6.61%), while kindergartens had the lowest (0.59%), with statistically significant differences (χ2=10 707.60, P<0.01). Among different school types, nine-year schools (elementary and junior high) had the highest proportion of abnormal chest radiographs (4.09%), while ordinary secondary vocational schools had the lowest (0.08%), with statistically significant differences (χ2=1 418.191, P<0.01). Conclusions　Carrying out physical examination and screening for admission is one of the important measures to reduce the tuberculosis epidemic in schools. The proactive screening work in Guizhou Province needs to be further implemented to achieve full coverage. It is necessary to strengthen the proactive detection of schools in high epidemic areas, especially the screening efforts and health education for key populations such as universities and high schools, to curb the occurrence of TB epidemic in schools.

Background Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are one of the major occupational health problems in the world. Pharmaceutical industry is an important part of China's national economy. At present, there are few related studies reported at home and abroad. Objective To investigate the status and influencing factors of WMSDs in chemical pharmaceutical industry. Methods A cross-sectional epidemiological survey was conducted among all workers from three chemical pharmaceutical enterprises in Guangzhou. The Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire was used to collect information on demographic characteristics, symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders, types of work, work organization, and and work postures. Multiple logistic regression method was used to analyze the risk factors of WMSDs in chemical pharmaceutical workers. Results In this study, 563 workers were selected as subjects. The total prevalence rate of WMSDs symptoms in the chemical pharmaceutical workers was 43.9% (247/563), and the leading body part-specific prevalence rate from high to low was 34.3% in the lower back, 24.3% in the upper back, 24.0% in the shoulders, and 23.8% in the neck. The prevalence rate of WMSDs symptoms in multiple body parts (30.0%) was 2.16 times higher than that in single body part (13.9%), and the prevalence rate of WMSDs symptoms in four body parts was the highest (11.4%). The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥50 years (reference age <30 years) (OR=2.140, 95%CI: 1.054-4.345), often or very often (reference never/rarely) long-time head rotating (OR=2.695, 95%CI: 1.753-4.142) and long-time keeping arms above shoulders (OR=1.902, 95%CI: 1.108-3.265) increased the risk of reporting WMSDs symptoms (P<0.05). Regarding education level, workers with high school and technical secondary school (OR=0.333, 95%CI: 0.175-0.636) or college and above (OR=0.413, 95%CI: 0.216-0.790) education had a lower risk of reporting WMSDs symptoms than those with middle school or below (P<0.05). Conclusion The prevalence rate of reporting WMSDs symptoms in chemical pharmaceutical industry is high, the involving body parts are lower back, upper back, shoulders, and neck, and reporting simultaneous occurrence of WMSDs symptoms in multiple body parts is common. The chemical pharmaceutical manufacturers can reduce the risk of WMSDs by strengthening the training on workers' ergonomics knowledge, paying attention to the less educated personnel, protecting the elderly workers, and avoiding awkward work postures, like rotating head for a long time and raising arms over shoulders.

Cholangiocarcinoma is a group of highly invasive and heterogeneous biliary malignancies originating from any part of the biliary tree. At present, the most ideal treatment is still radical surgery.Gemcitabine combined with cisplatin (gem-cis) has been recognized as the standard first-line chemotherapy regimen for patients with unresectable, advanced or metastatic disease.In recent years, with the proposal of precision medicine and the development of next-generation sequencing technologies, A large number of important cholangiocarcinoma targets have been discovered, such as FGFR, IDH, VEGFR, BRAF, MET, etc., and the research on corresponding target drugs is booming.By referring to relevant literature and data, combined with domestic and foreign clinical trials, this paper reviews the important targets of cholangiocarcinoma and the latest progress of targeted drug therapy.

{L-End}Objective To analyze the prevalence of multi-site work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) and their influencing factors among workers in the chemical pharmaceutical industry. {L-End}Methods A total of 563 workers from three chemical pharmaceutical factories in Guangzhou City were selected as the research subjects using the judgment sampling method. The prevalence of multi-site WMSDs in the past 12 months was investigated using the electronic questionnaire of Chinese Version of Musculoskeletal Disorders Questionnaire. {L-End}Results The prevalence of multi-site WMSDs in the research subjects was 30.0% (169/563). The results of multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that workers who smoked regularly/frequently and those who had their hands above shoulder level for long periods of time had a lower risk of multi-site WMSDs than those who never/occasionally smoked (all P≤0.05). Workers with a high school, secondary specialty, college degree, or above had a lower risk of multi-site WMSDs than those with a middle school education or below (all P<0.05). The longer the daily working hours, the higher the risk of multiple WMSDs (all P<0.05). Workers with regular/frequently work shifts had a lower risk of multi-site WMSDs than those with none/occasional work shifts (P<0.05). {L-End}Conclusion The prevalence of multi-site WMSDs among workers in the chemical pharmaceutical industry is relatively high. The influencing factors are individual factors, unreasonable work organization and poor ergonomics factors.

Objective: To explore the activity of auranofin against ovarian cancer cells and its possible molecular mechanism． Methods : The dose-response survival curve and IC50 of auranofin on ovarian cancer cell lines ，SKOV3，Caov3 and SW626 cells and immortalized normal human embryonic kidney HEK-293T cells were determined by CCK-8 method．Cell cycle was determined by flow cytometry．The levels of total glutathione ( GSH) ，reduced GSH and glutathione disulfide ( GSSG) ，thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) and reactive oxygen species (ROS) in cells were determined by microplate reader，and the reduced GSH / GSSG ratio was calculated．Western blot was used to determine the expression of cyclin dependent kinases( CDK) 4，CDK6，Cyclin D1，P53，p-P53 and MDM2 in SKOV3 and Caov3 ovarian cancer cells. Results : Compared with HEK-293T cells，the dose-response survival curves and IC50 values of SKOV3，Caov3 and SW626 cells showed that ovarian cancer cells were more sensitive to auranofin (P＜0. 05) ．After SKOV3 and Caov3 cells were treated with the dose of respective IC50 concentrations of auranofin，compared with the untreated cells group，the Auranofin IC50 group cells' intracellular levels of GSH，the ratio of reduced GSH / GSSG and the activity of TrxR decreased (t = 25. 11 /31. 18，14. 72 /19. 92，43. 30 /10. 74， all P＜0. 05) ，and the levels of ROS increased (t = 23. 82 /27. 71，P＜0. 05) ; cells number at G0 / G1 phases increased，with cells number at S and G2 phases decreased (P＜0. 05) ; and the expression levels of cell cycle-related proteins CDK4，CDK6，Cyclin D1 and the P53-specific E3 ubiquitin ligase MDM2 were down-regulated (t = 7. 51 /15. 59，17. 32 /11. 26，20. 78 /20. 78，24. 25 /17. 32，all P＜0. 05) ，while the expression levels of P53 and p-P53 were up-regulated (t = 17. 32 /24. 25，12. 12 /10. 39，all P ＜0. 05) ． Conclusion Auranofin causes oxidative stress in ovarian cancer cells by inhibiting TrxR activity，and by partially degrading MDM2 to stabilize and acti- vate P53，so as to block the cancer cells in G0 / G1 phase，and exert anti-ovarian cancer activities.

Objective: To study the value of unmethylated cytosine guanine dinucleotide oligodeoxynucleotide (DSP30) and IL-2 in the conventional cytogenetic (CA) detection of the chromosomal aberrations in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) . Methods: Bone marrow or peripheral blood cells of CLL patients were cultured with DSP30 plus IL-2 for 72 h, following which R-banding analysis was conducted. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) was performed in 85 patients. CA results were compared with data obtained by FISH. Results: Among 89 CLL patients, the success rate of chromosome analysis was 94.38% (84/89) . Clonal aberrations were detected in 51 patients (51/84, 60.71%) . Of them, 27 (27/51, 52.94%) were complex karyotype. Among 85 CLL patients tested by FISH, chromosomal abnormalities were detected in 74 (74/85, 87.06%) patients, of which 2 (2/74) patients were complex karyotypes, accounting for 2.70%. Of the 85 CLL patients examined by FISH, 50 had abnormal karyotype analysis, 30 had normal karyotype, 5 failed to have chromosome analysis. Among them, 25 cases showed clonal aberrations by FISH assay but normal by CA, and 4 cases were normal by FISH but displayed aberrations in chromosome analysis, and totally 78 (91.76%) cases with abnormality detected by the combination of the two methods. The frequency of 13q- abnormality detected by FISH was significantly higher than that by CA analysis (69.41%vs 16.67%, P<0.001) , while the frequency of 11q-,+12 and 17p- detected by two methods showed no significant difference (P>0.05) . The detection rate of complex abnormalities in conventional karyotype analysis was higher than that in FISH (50.98%vs 2.70%) . In addition, 11 low-risk and 9 intermediate-risk patients according to FISH results showed complex karyotype by cytogenetics, and were classified into high-risk cytogenetic subgroup. Conclusion DSP30 and IL-2 are effective in improving the detection rate of CA in CLL patients (60.71%) and CA is more effective to detect complex karyotype. However, FISH had a higher overall abnormality detection rate (87.06%) than CA, especially for 13q-. The combination of CA and FISH not only enhanced the detection rate of clonal aberrations to 91.76%, but also provided more precise prognosis stratification for CLL patients, thus to provide more information for clinical implication.

Objective To optimize the extraction process of main iridoid glycosides in Damnacanthus officinarum Huang and evaluate the antioxidant activity of Damnacanthus officinarum Huang in vitro. Methods The classical heating-reflux extraction method was selected. The volume fraction of ethanol, the volume of solvent and extraction time were taken as the evaluation factors. The comprehensive score of extraction yield and the monotropein content were used as the evaluation indexes. An orthogonal test was designed to select the best extraction conditions. The total reducing capacity, DPPH clearance rate and hydroxyl radical scavenging rate were measured to determine its antioxidant activity in vitro. Results The optimal extraction process was the reflux with 6 times volume of 60% ethanol for 2 hours. Damnacanthus officinarum Huang has certain antioxidant capacity, and the activity of ethyl acetate part had the best effect. Conclusion The optimized extraction process is stable and feasible, which can be used for extraction of the iridoid glycosides from Damnacanthus officinarum Huang. This study has proved that Damnacanthus officinarum Huang has certain antioxidant activity.
