Objective: To explore the latent profile characteristics of regulatory emotional self-efficacy and its relationship with non-suicidal self-injurious (NSSI) behavior among junior and senior high school students, so as to provide a basis for effectively reducing NSSI behaviors. Methods: From April to October 2023, a total of 1 217 junior and senior high school students were selected from Tongren City, Zunyi City and Qiannan Prefecture of Guizhou Province by stratified cluster random sampling method. The Scale of Regulatory Emotional Self-efficacy and the Adolescent Self-injury Scale were administered. Latent profile analysis (LPA) was employed to explore distinct profiles of regulatory emotional self-efficacy, and the Lanza, Tan, and Bray s method (LTB) was used to analyze the relationship between these profiles and NSSI behavior. Results: The prevalence rate of NSSI behavior among junior and senior high school students was 28.6%. Among males, regulatory emotional self-efficacy was categorized into two types: moderate positive expression-low negative management group (59.1%, n =353) and high efficacy group (40.9%, n =244); among females, regulatory emotional self-efficacy was classified into three categories: low efficacy group (18.4%, n =114), high positive expression-low negative management group (56.3%, n =349), and high efficacy group (25.3%, n =157). There were statistically significant differences in total NSSI scores across different potential categories of regulatory emotional self-efficacy within both males and females ( Z/H = -5.75 , 57.58, both P <0.01). The differences in NSSI prevalence rates across the potential categories of regulatory emotional self-efficacy were statistically significant for both males and females ( χ 2=38.00, 69.14, both P <0.01), and among females, the differences in NSSI prevalence rates between the high efficacy group and the low efficacy group ( χ 2=60.01) and between the high efficacy group and the high positive expression-low negative management group ( χ 2=31.34) were also statistically significant (both P < 0.016 7 ). Binary Logistic regression analysis revealed that, compared with the high efficacy group within each gender, the moderate positive expression-low negative management group among males ( OR =2.36), and both the low efficacy group and the high positive expression-low negative management group among females ( OR =6.19, 2.97), were at an increased risk of engaging in NSSI (all P <0.01). Conclusion Different latent profiles of regulatory emotional self efficacy among junior and senior high school students are associated with NSSI behavior.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the comorbidity of dyslipidemia, hypertension and diabetes and lifestyle of adult residents in Hebei Province in 2018, and to provide reference for the development of chronic diseases prevention measures. Methods Using data from the surveillance of chronic diseases and their risk factors among adults in Hebei in 2018, 7 711 permanent residents aged ≥18 years were selected as the research subjects. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the comorbidity of dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes and lifestyle in adult residents. Results A total of 7 711 subjects aged ≥18 years were included in 2018. The comorbidity rates of hypertension and dyslipidemia, diabetes and dyslipidemia, and hypertension and diabetes were 16.88%, 7.91%, and 8.13%, respectively. The comorbidity rate of hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia was 22.65%. These comorbidity rates increased with age and BMI. Multivariate logistic regression results showed that male, age, overweight/obesity, physical inactivity, daily sedentary behavior time ≥5 hours, and sleep problems were risk factors for the comorbidity of the "three highs". Conclusion The prevalence of the "three highs" comorbidities is relatively high in Hebei Province, and there are multiple common risk factors. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and implementing comprehensive prevention and control measures are the key to improving the health level of residents.

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)are nanoscale membrane vesicles released by cells that carry bioactive molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids. They play a key role in intercellular communication. In recent years, they have shown significant potential in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal and ocular surface diseases. As diagnostic biomarkers, EVs derived from tears or other sources can reflect disease-specific characteristics, providing a basis for the early disease detection. In terms of therapy, mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)-derived EVs deliver miRNAs to modulate inflammatory pathways, promote corneal epithelial repair, and inhibit fibrosis. Furthermore, as natural drug vehicles, EVs enable precise delivery of therapeutic agents and promote corneal wound healing. This review systematically summarizes the recent research advances in the application of EVs in the field.

AIM: To compare objective visual quality and vision-related quality of life after implantation of different presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses(PC-IOLs).METHODS:A prospective, non-randomized controlled study. Cataract patients who underwent phacoemulsification combined with PC-IOL implantation at Jinan Mingshui Eye Hospital from September 2023 and December 2025 were included. These patients were divided into three groups according to the type of IOL: the Trifocal IOL group,the Vivity group, and the Synergy group. Follow-ups were conducted at 1 wk,1 and 3 mo postoperatively. Uncorrected distance visual acuity(UDVA), uncorrected intermediate visual acuity(UIVA), and uncorrected near visual acuity(UNVA), objective scatter index(OSI), modulation transfer function cut off(MTF-cut off), and Strehl ratio(SR), as well as contrast visual acuity(CVA)at 100%, 20%, and 9% contrast were assessed. Postoperative defocus curves were plotted. Vision-related quality of life and spectacle independence were evaluated using questionnaires.RESULTS: This study included 101 cataract patients(101 eyes),aged 30-70(53.8±9.7)y,with 59 males and 42 females.The Trifocal group consisted of 33 patients(33 eyes), aged 30-71(51.7±11.3)y, with 21 males and 12 females; the Vivity group consisted of 37 patients(37 eyes), aged 36-71(54.2±9.0)y, with 18 males and 19 females; and the Synergy group consisted of 31 patients(31 eyes), aged 30-73(55.9±8.5)y, with 20 males and 11 females.No significant differences were observed among the three groups in UDVA or UIVA(all P>0.05). Significant differences were found in UNVA among groups(P<0.05). UDVA differed significantly across different time points(P<0.05), while there were no significant differences in UIVA and UNVA(all P>0.05). At 3 mo postoperatively, significant differences were found among the three groups in OSI, MTF -cut off, SR, and CVA at all contrast levels(all P<0.05). The defocus curve at postoperative 1 mo showed that the Trifocal group had a smooth and continuous profile from +1.0 D to -3.0 D, providing good distance, intermediate, and near vision. All groups demonstrated smooth transitions in the intermediate range(-1.0 D to -1.5 D), with LogMAR visual acuity better than 0.2. In the near range(-2.5 D to -3.5 D), the Trifocal and Synergy groups performed significantly better than the Vivity group. No significant differences were observed in VF-14 questionnaire scores among groups(P>0.05). For night driving(motorized or non-motorized), the Vivity group performed better than the Trifocal and Synergy groups. Spectacle independence rates were 92.3% in the Trifocal group, 54.1% in the Vivity group, and 80.0% in the Synergy group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION: All types of PC-IOLs can effectively improve postoperative full-range visual acuity in cataract patients. There are discrepancies in the objective visual quality between Trifocal IOLs and extended depth of focus(EDOF)IOLs. Some patients suffer from postoperative optical disturbances, which result in certain difficulties with night driving, although patients generally report favorable subjective visual perceptions.

Objective To analyze the prevalence of hyperuricemia (HUA) among adults in Hebei Province and its influencing factors related to comorbidities with ^“three highs^”, and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of HUA and multi-disease co-management. Methods Data were derived from the 2018 China Chronic Disease and Risk Factors Surveillance program conducted in Hebei Province. A multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select permanent residents aged ≥18 years. All statistical analyses were adjusted for complex weighting. Design-based logistic regression was employed to analyze factors influencing HUA prevalence, and ordinal logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of HUA patients and their comorbidity with ^“three highs^”. Results The prevalence of HUA among adults in Hebei Province was 10.42%, with males showing higher rates than females (P<0.05). The highest prevalence of HUA was observed in the 18-39 age group, followed by a declining trend, and a resurgence in those aged ≥70 (P<0.05). Among HUA patients with comorbidities, isolated HUA, 1 comorbidity, 2 comorbidities, and 3 comorbidities accounted for 13.94%, 33.33%, 39.17%, and 13.56%, respectively. HUA combined with hypertension and dyslipidemia represented the highest proportion (31.07%). Analysis of the influencing factors of HUA revealed that higher education levels, obesity, central obesity, and dyslipidemia increased the risk of HUA (P<0.05). Ordinal logistic regression analysis of HUA combined with three highs showed that HUA patients aged ≥50 years, overweight individuals, and those with chronic kidney disease had a higher number of patients with three highs (P<0.05). Conclusion HUA exhibits insidious onset, and it is recommended to include uric acid testing in routine physical examinations. Targeted prevention measures, such as early uric acid testing and health education, should be implemented by Hebei authorities for populations with higher education levels, obesity, central obesity, and dyslipidemia to reduce HUA incidence. Additionally, health education and regular medical check-ups are recommended for overweight HUA patients and those with chronic kidney disease to prevent comorbidities and alleviate disease burden.

Objective: To identify the latent profile characteristics and associated factors of family intergenerational transmission of proactive health behaviors in overweight and obesity junior high school students, so as to provide a reference for promoting active health in adolescents. Methods: From October to December 2024, a stratified cluster random sampling method was employed to select 4 932 junior high school students with overweight and obesity from 18 junior high schools of three cities representing the eastern (Yantai), central (Zibo), and western (Zaozhuang) regions of Shandong Province. Latent profile analysis was used to explore the heterogeneity of family intergenerational transmission among those students. Univariate analysis and multiple Logistic regression analysis were conducted to identify factors associated with different profiles and to examine the influence of profile membership on junior high school students proactive health levels. Results: The intergenerational transmission of health behaviors in junior high school students could be classified into 3 latent profiles:the moderate modeling dysfunctional group (5.88%, n =290), the low modeling advantage deficient group (41.79%, n =2 061), and the high modeling functional harmonious group ( 52.33 % n =2 581). Univariate analysis showed that gender, urban/rural area, region location, paternal/maternal education level, family economic status, and only child status were significantly associated with the classification of latent profiles of intergenerational transmission in families of overweight and obesity junior high school students ( χ 2=7.63-165.22, all P <0.05). Multiple Logistic regression analysis revealed that, using the moderate modeling dysfunctional group as the reference, male students ( OR =0.71) and those residing in coastal cities ( OR =0.74) were less likely to belong to the low modeling advantage deficient group (both P <0.05); students with moderate family economic status were more likely to belong to the low modeling advantage deficient group ( OR =1.72， P <0.05). Conversely, students living in urban areas ( OR =1.43), those with fathers ( OR =2.53) or mothers ( OR =2.48) having a college degree or above, and those with moderate ( OR =3.89) or good ( OR =2.42) family economic status were more likely to be classified into the high modeling functional harmonious group (all P < 0.05 ). Using the low modeling advantage deficient group as the reference, residing in coastal cities ( OR =1.26), living in urban residence ( OR =1.14), having parents (father or mother) with a college education or above ( OR =1.91, 2.33), moderate or good family economic status ( OR = 2.27 , 3.17), and being an only child ( OR =1.19) were associated with a higher probability of belonging to the high modeling functional harmonious group (all P < 0.05 ). There was a statistically significant difference in active health behaviors among students across different latent profiles of family intergenerational transmission ( F =494.79, P <0.01). Conclusions The heterogeneity of family intergenerational transmission is associated the level of proactive health behaviors among junior high school students. Therefore, precision interventions should be implemented based on different categories of family intergenerational transmission, so as to strengthen the efficacy of intergenerational transmission of health behaviors and promote proactive health among junior high school students.

Coronary heart disease （CHD） has a distinct circadian rhythmicity in its onset， which is closely related to the waxing and waning of qi and blood in the channel passages of the human body. Grounded in the circadian rhythm theory of "correspondence between heaven and humankind"， this paper explores the pathogenic evolution rules of qi-blood disharmony， channel obstruction， interacting as cause and effect with circadian rhythm disorders in CHD. Clinically， CHD can be observed to attack in the early morning， at night， in the afternoon， and at fixed or unfixed circadian intervals. The pathogenesis rhythms at different time nodes can correspondingly reflect the susceptibility tendencies and pathological stress responses of the human body to core pathogeneses such as yang deficiency with cold congelation， yin deficiency with yang floating， qi and yin deficiency， and liver constraint with qi stagnation under specific temporal states. Treatment should be adapted to the season and time， regulating yin and yang in accordance with biological rhythms. It is recommended to regulate qi during the daytime by promoting ascending and dispersing to unblock the channel passages， and select the appropriate timing for administration to harness natural timing. At the Mao （卯） hour， yang ascends while yin descends， and taking medication at this time conforms to the ascending of yang qi. At the Wu （午） hour， the heart meridian is active， and taking medication at this time warms the channel passages and assists heart yang， which can be treated with modified Buzhong Yiqi Decoction （补中益气汤） or Shengyang Yiwei Decoction （升阳益胃汤）. At night， blood should be harmonized， when the channel passages are unblocked through nourishing， restraining， and searching， with Lianmei Decoction （连梅汤） combined with Dahuang Zhechong Pill （大黄䗪虫丸）. Following the temporal rhythm， the focus is put on the transitional time of day and night and the four seasons to treat disease before it arises， resonating and corresponding with the natural rhythm.

ObjectiveBy exploring the influencing factors of readmission in patients with stable angina of coronary heart disease （CHD） based on real-world clinical data， to establish a risk prediction model of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine， in order to provide a basis for early identification of high-risk populations and reducing readmission rates. MethodsA prospective clinical study was conducted involving patients with stable angina pectoris of CHD， who were divided into a training set and a validation set at a 7∶3 ratio. General information， traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）-related data， and laboratory test results were uniformly collected. After a one-year follow-up， patients were classified into a readmission group and a non-readmission group based on whether they were readmitted. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify independent risk factors for readmission. A risk prediction model of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine was constructed and visualized using a nomogram. The model was validated and evaluated in terms of discrimination， calibration， and clinical decision curve analysis. ResultsA total of 682 patients were included， with 477 in the training set and 205 in the validation set， among whom 89 patients were readmitted. Multivariate logistic regression analysis identified heart failure history ［OR = 6.93， 95% CI （1.58， 30.45）］， wiry pulse ［OR = 2.58， 95% CI （1.42， 4.72）］， weak pulse ［OR = 3.97， 95% CI （2.06， 7.67）］， teeth-marked tongue ［OR = 4.38， 95% CI （2.32， 8.27）］， blood stasis constitution ［OR = 2.17， 95% CI （1.06， 4.44）］， phlegm-stasis mutual syndrome ［OR = 3.64， 95% CI （1.87， 7.09）］， and elevated non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ［OR = 1.30， 95% CI （1.01， 1.69）］ as influencing factors of readmission. These factors were used as predictors to construct a nomogram-based risk prediction model for readmission in patients with stable angina. The model demonstrated moderate predictive capability， with an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve （AUC） of 0.818 ［95% CI （0.781， 0.852）］ in the training set and 0.816 ［95% CI （0.779， 0.850）］ in the validation set. The Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed good calibration （χ² = 4.55， P = 0.80）， and the model's predictive ability was stable. When the threshold probability exceeded 5%， the clinical net benefit of using the model to predict readmission risk was significantly higher than intervening in all patients. ConclusionHistory of heart failure， teeth-marked tongue， weak pulse， wiry pulse， phlegm-stasis mutual syndrome， blood stasis constitution， and non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol are influencing factors for readmission in patients with stable angina of CHD. A clinical prediction model was developed based on these factors， which showed good discrimination， calibration， and clinical utility， providing a scientific basis for predicting readmission events in patients with stable angina.

Depression is a common psychiatric disorder characterized by persistent low mood or mental disorders. Current treatments primarily focus on regulating neurotransmitter levels， but their effectiveness is limited. The mechanisms underlying its onset are complex， and there is no unified consensus. Abnormal signaling pathway transmission plays a crucial role in the development of depression， involving multiple pathways， including Toll-like receptor 4/nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3 （TLR4/NLRP3）， nuclear factor-κB （NF-κB）， Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription （JAK/STAT）， mitogen-activated protein kinase/extracellular signal-regulated kinase （MAPK/ERK）， brain-derived neurotrophic factor/tyrosine kinase receptor B （BDNF/TrkB）， cyclic AMP/protein kinase A/cAMP response element-binding protein （cAMP/PKA/CREB）， and others. Traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） is based on a holistic approach and the principle of treatment based on the differentiation of syndromes， regulating the balance of multiple systems and organ functions from a macroscopic perspective. This approach has shown unique advantages in the treatment of depression. TCM attributes the onset of depression to dysfunction of the organ systems， involving liver Qi stagnation， heart spirit deficiency， kidney essence depletion， and spleen dysfunction. TCM compound treatments focus on soothing the liver， strengthening the spleen， calming the heart， and replenishing essence， with formulas such as Xiaoyaosan， Zishui Qinggan Yin， and Chahu Jia Guizhi Longgu Muli Tang. The active components of Chinese herbs mainly aim to tonify and regulate Qi， such as salidroside， ginsenoside Rb₁， astragaloside， and muscone. External TCM treatments， primarily acupuncture， aim to open the orifices and invigorate the spirit. Acupoints such as Baihui， Shenting， and Yintang are commonly used. Additionally， massage and moxibustion therapy can intervene in depression by regulating signaling pathways. This article reviews the core role of signaling pathways in the development of depression and the mechanism of TCM regulation of signaling pathways to intervene in depression， aiming to discover new therapeutic approaches that can improve the symptoms of depressed patients.

Constipation is a common functional gastrointestinal disorder with a global prevalence of approximately 10％to 20％.Its causes include functional disorders,organic diseases,and drug factors,with the majority being functional constipation.In recent years,driven by advancements in biomedicine,artificial intelligence(AI),and microbiome research,significant progress has been made in the diagnosis and treatment of constipation.This review systematically explores the latest developments in constipation treatment,including the role of the gut microbiota in constipation,the metabolic regulatory effects of short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs),the impact of mental factors on intestinal motility.Additionally,it discusses future development directions such as AI-assisted diagnosis,AI-based consultation systems,personalized microbiota transplantation,and minimally invasive neuromodulation,providing new insights for precision medicine in constipation.
