ObjectiveThis paper aims to analyze the variety characteristics and prescription patterns of marketed traditional Chinese patent medicines for treating abortion and provide references for new medicine development and clinical application. MethodsRelevant information of traditional Chinese patent medicines for treating abortion was systematically retrieved and collected. Microsoft Excel 2021 software was used to sort and statistically analyze the medicine syndrome types， quantity， market situation， and status of package inserts. Based on the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform （V2.3.9）， the medicine properties， flavors， meridian tropism， and medication characteristics of standardized prescriptions were analyzed. ResultsA total of 39 marketed traditional Chinese patent medicines for treating abortion in China were included. According to disease type， these medicines were categorized as therapeutic medicines for threatened abortion and recurrent spontaneous abortion. According to clinical function， they were categorized into three groups： fetus stabilization， blood nourishment， and adjunctive conditioning. They were also categorized into pre-pregnancy conditioning and post-pregnancy fetal maintenance by clinical intervention stage. Post-marketing research showed that only three products had undergone safety evaluations and one involved pharmacoeconomic research， indicating a general lack of standardized evidence-based data. Dosage forms were mainly pills and granules. Package insert analysis revealed that 15 products listed "contraindications"， while 28 included "precautions". Based on prescription inclusion and exclusion criteria， 25 products were selected for further analysis. Their therapeutic effects were mainly concentrated on "tonifying the kidney and spleen， replenishing Qi， and nourishing blood"， with core medicines including Paeoniae Radix Alba， Angelicae Sinensis Radix， and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma. Most medicines were warm or neutral in nature， predominantly sweet and pungent in flavor， and mainly entered the spleen， liver， and kidney meridians. ConclusionTraditional Chinese patent medicines for treating abortion demonstrate clear clinical value. However， shortcomings remain， including insufficient post-marketing research， prescription homogeneity， and incomplete package inserts. Future efforts should establish a clinically value-oriented modern development pathway， strengthen safety surveillance and evidence evaluation， improve package inserts， and promote precision use to further enhance clinical value.

ObjectiveTo investigate the protective effects and mechanisms of Bushen Zhuyun prescription （BSZY） on abortion rats with kidney deficiency-corpus luteum inhibition syndrome. MethodsAn abortion rat model with kidney deficiency-corpus luteum inhibition syndrome was constructed. Pregnant mice aged 8-10 weeks were randomly divided into a control group （Control）， a model group （Model）， low-dose BSZY （BSZY-L）， medium-dose BSZY （BSZY-M）， and high-dose BSZY （BSZY-H） groups （2.57， 5.14， 10.28 g·kg^-¹）， and a Zishen Yutai Pill （ZSYT） group （1.575 g·kg^-¹）. Hematoxylin-eosin （HE） staining was used to evaluate histopathological changes in ovarian and decidual tissue of rats in each group. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA） was employed to measure levels of estrogen （E₂）， progesterone （P）， luteinizing hormone （LH）， prolactin （PRL）， and follicle-stimulating hormone （FSH） in serum. The candidate targets of BSZY were obtained from the Traditional Chinese Medicine System Pharmacology Platform （TCMSP） and Integrative Pharmacology-based Research Platform of Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCMIP） v2.0 databases， while disease targets for recurrent spontaneous abortion （RSA） were retrieved from GeneCards， DrugBank， Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man （OMIM）， and Therapeutic Target Database （TTD）. The intersection targets were identified by the Venny 2.1.0 platform. Pathway enrichment analysis was conducted based on the Metascape database to predict the potential mechanisms of BSZY. Additionally. Western blot was used to verify the effects of BSZY on the expression of estrogen receptor （ERα）， phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase （PI3K）， and protein kinase B （Akt） and explore its protective mechanism on RSA rats. ResultsCompared with the control group， the model group exhibited significantly decreased uterine， ovarian， and embryonic wet weights （P<0.05， P<0.01）， with an abortion rate of 57.18%. The ovarian tissue showed varying degrees of reduction in primordial follicles， primary follicles， mature follicles， and corpora lutea， along with a large number of atretic follicles. The endometrium was thinner， and decidual tissue exhibited cellular edema and disorganized arrangement. In contrast， compared with the model group， the BSZY groups at all doses and the ZSYT group demonstrated increased uterine， ovarian， and embryonic wet weights， along with a reduced abortion rate. The number of primordial follicles， primary follicles， mature follicles， and corpora lutea increased， while atretic follicles decreased. The endometrium thickened， and decidual tissue displayed normal cellular structure with tight arrangement. Additionally， the model group showed significantly decreased levels of E₂， P， PRL， and FSH in serum （P<0.05， P<0.01）， along with a decreasing trend in LH level. In contrast， the BSZY groups at all doses exhibited significantly elevated levels of E₂， P， LH， PRL， and FSH in serum （P<0.05， P<0.01）. Network pharmacology predictions suggested that BSZY may exert protective effects against abortion in rats by activating the ERα/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Western blot results confirmed that BSZY significantly upregulated the expression of ERα， PI3K， and p-Akt proteins （P<0.05， P<0.01）. ConclusionBSZY has a protective effect on the abortion rats with kidney deficiency-corpus luteum inhibition syndrome， possibly by activating the ERα/PI3K/Akt signaling pathway to reduce ovarian apoptosis and regulate endocrine function， thereby lowering the abortion rate.

“Deficiency cause， cold accumulation， and qi stagnation” originates from Essentials from the Golden Cabinet （《金匮要略》）， which is a guiding principle for the pathogenesis of women's diseases， pioneering the differentiation and treatment of women's diseases based on patterns， and having a profound influence on future generations. Following the classical principles and simplifying the complexities， this paper explored the pathogenesis and mechanism of polycystic ovary syndrome （PCOS） from the perspective of “deficiency cause， cold accumulation， and qi stagnation”， and believed that depletion of essence and blood， long-term accumulation of internal cold， and qi constraint and blood stasis are the causes of PCOS， with depletion of essence and blood， and lack of nourishment of zang-fu （脏腑） organs as the root， and cold pathogen invasion， qi constraint and blood stasis as the branch. The main treatment principle is “treating deficiency with supplementation”， and dispelling pathogen while reinforcing healthy qi， along with “treatment of cold by warming” and “treatment of stagnation by dispersing”. This is of great significance for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome. Clinically， these methods can be used flexibly to guide treatment and formula selection for PCOS， with the goal of harmonizing qi and blood and regulating menstruation.

Objective To summarize and evaluate the characteristics of current recurrent spontaneous abortion(RSA)animal models at home and abroad,and to provide reference and guidance for the standardized preparation of RSA models.Methods"Recurrent spontaneous abortion"and"animal model"were used as co-keywords in CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,PubMed and Web of Science databases to search the RSA animal experimental literature,covering the period up to January 20,2024,and a total of 1 411 articles were collected.The analysis focused on construction methods and essential elements of RSA animal models,the modeling process and result evaluation,as well as the application of these models in pharmacological and pharmacodynamic research.An Excel table was established for systematic analysis and discussion.Results A total of 138 experimental studies were obtained after screening.In constructing RSA animal models,immunological models were the most widely used in Western medicine(96.92％),with the Clark model being the main one(92.31％).In traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)models,70.00％were kidney deficiency-luteal inhibition-syndrome combination models,20.00％were kidney deficiency and blood stasis models,and 10.00％were deficiency-heat syndrome models.Most animals were selected at 6-8 weeks(33.86％)and 8 weeks(32.28％)of age.The majority of animals were paired for mating at 18:00 on the day of cage pairing.In 81.03％of literatures,vaginal plugs were checked once the following morning,with 8:00 being the most common time(17.02％).The most commonly used drug administration cycle was 14 days of continuous gavage after pregnancy.Among the tested drugs,Western drugs were mainly protein-based(29.17％),while TCM drugs were mainly TCM decoction(81.11％).The most frequently used methods for detecting indicators included visual observation of embryos(22.54％),western blot(15.96％),PCR(13.58％),ELISA(12.91％),HE staining(10.80％)and immunohistochemistry(9.39％).Conclusion The etiology of RSA is complex,and corresponding animal models should be established based on different etiologies.Clark model is commonly used in the construction of Western medicine model,while the kidney deficiency-luteal inhibition-syndrome combination model is predominant in TCM.RSA animal model is widely used in related research,but systematic evaluation needs to be strengthened.

Objective:To explore the impact of early and late antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) on treatment options and allograft outcomes after kidney transplantation (KT).Methods:From January 2013 to December 2022, the study retrospectively enrolled 141 KT allograft recipients receiving allograft biopsy and diagnosed as AMR according to the Banff 2019 criteria. Recipients with a diagnosis of AMR within 30 days post-KT were classified into early AMR group (n=19) while the remainders assigned as late AMR group (n=122). The outcome endpoints included recipient survival rate, death-censored graft survival rate, follow-up estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and immunodominant donor-specific antibody (DSA) intensity. Wilcoxon's test was utilized for assessing the differences in eGFR and DSA intensity while Kaplan-Meier curve and Log-rank test were employed for evaluating graft survival impact. Treatment regimens for AMR were collected and categorized.Results:The median follow-up duration was 2.6(1.2, 5.2) year. No graft failure was noted in early AMR group while 44 recipients in late AMR group experienced graft failure, with 34 cases (77.2%) due to AMR progression. The 5-year death-censored graft survival rate was significantly better in early AMR group than that in late AMR group [100% vs 60.1%(50.5%, 71.6%), P=0.002]. The one-year change in eGFR for early AMR group was significantly superior to that of late AMR group [19.3(-2.6, 38.1) vs -3.3(-14.0, 5.4), P=0.001]. One-year mean fluorescent intensity (MFI) of early AMR group was 1 158(401.5, 3 126.5). It was significantly lower than that when diagnosed with early AMR [3 120.5(2 392.8, 9 340.0)] and one-year MFI of late AMR group [8 094(2 251.5, 13 560.5)] ( P=0.005, P<0.001). Early AMR group primarily received standard treatment (3/19, 15.8%) and regimens centered on rituximab and/or bortezomib (7/19, 43.8%). Late AMR group mainly received standard (16/122, 13.1%) or intensified regimens (9/122, 7.4%) and regimens focused upon rituximab and/or bortezomib (32/122, 26.2%) and MP monotherapy (21/122, 17.2%). Conclusion:The outcome for early AMR is significantly better than that for late AMR. For early AMR, early and robust immunosuppression is recommended. For late AMR, early detection and timely treatment are crucial and individualized strategies should be implemented.

bstract: Objective To elucidate the distribution characteristics of mosquito species and the population genetic diversity of important mosquito species in the Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve, with the aim of providing a scientific basis for the prevention and control of mosquito-borne diseases in the region. Methods Within Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve 2022- 2023, 16 sampling sites were selected, where larvae were collected using the pipette method and adult mosquitoes were collected using the mosquito trap lamp method. Mosquito species identification was accomplished by integrating morphological characteristics and molecular identification techniques based on CO Ⅰ and CO Ⅱ gene sequences. Software tools such as ClustalX, DnaSP v5.0, and Network v4.6.1.0 were utilized to analyze the genetic differentiation (Fst), gene flow (Nm) among populations of Aedes japonicus, Aedes albopictus and Armigeres subalbatus. Results The mosquito specimens collected from the Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve were identified as 30 species belonging to 8 genera within the Culicidae family. Among them, there were 10 species of Aedes, 13 species of Culex, 1 species each of Armigeres, Orthopodomyia, Uranotaenia, Tripyeroides, and Anopheles, and 2 species of Toxorhynchites. Analysis of the genetic structure of important mosquito populations showed that the haplotype diversity index (Hd) of Ae. japonicus was 0.994 7, with a generally moderate degree of differentiation between populations and a higher degree of genetic differentiation between populations 6 and 12; Aedeslbopictus had a haplotype diversity index of 0.634 0, with significant genetic differentiation between populations 1 and 2 compared to other groups; Armigeres subalbatus had a haplotype diversity index of 0.703 3, with substantial genetic differentiation and limited gene flow between population 2 and populations 3, 4, 6, and 7. Conclusions The mosquito species are rich in Wuyi Mountain Nature Reserve. A comprehensive survey of the composition and distribution of mosquito populations was carried out, and the characteristics of the population genetic structure of the important species of Ae. japonicus, Ae. Albopictus, and Ar. subalbatus populations were analyzed, providing valuable scientific data reference for local mosquito-borne ecological research and disease prevention and control.

【Objective】 To investigate the effect of transfusion-transmitted Zika virus (ZIKV) on the expression of non-coding circular RNA (hsa_circ_0001613) and the role of hsa_circ_0001613 in Zika virus replication. 【Methods】 Human adenocarcinomic alveolar basal epithelial cells (A549) were seeded on a 12-well plate at 1.8×10⁵/ well and infected with ZIKV at 0.05 MOI. The Total RNAs were isolated every day for 5 days after infection, and the relative expression level of hsa_circ_0001613 was detected by qRT-PCR. In addition, 10nM siRNA-hsa_circ_0001613 was transfected into 2×10⁵/ well A549 cells to specifically knock down the expression level of hsa_circ_0001613. 24h later, the cells were infected with ZIKV (MOI=0.05). Total RNAs were isolated at day 1-5 post-infection, proteins were extracted 96h post-infection. ZIKV replication, relative host antiviral gene expression, and interferon stimulated response element (ISRE) activity were tested using qRT-PCR, western blot and dual luciferase assay, respectively. 【Results】 The relative expression of hsa_circ_0001613 decreased significantly after 1-5 days of ZIKV infection. Knockdown of hsa_circ_0001613 inhibited ZIKV replication. Meanwhile, hsa_circ_0001613 knockdown significantly upregulated IFN-α/β and its downstream interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) expression, also increased ISRE activity. 【Conclusion】 ZIKV infection significantly suppressed hsa_circ_0001613 expression in A4549 cells. Preliminary study indicated that hsa_circ_0001613 knockdown inhibited ZIKV replication possibly through activating type-Ⅰ IFN signaling pathway as showed by increased ISGs expression and ISRE activity.

5-fluorouracil (5-Fu) has been the basic drug in the first-line chemotherapy for colorectal cancer so far. A large number of studies have focused on the discovery of gene polymorphism sites for predicting the efficacy or adverse reactions of 5-Fu. Multiple polymorphic sites of genes such as TYMS, DPYD, and MTHFR may play a role in it. However, no consistent conclusion has been reached over the effect of same polymorphic site on the therapeutic outcome. The application of whole genome sequencing and multi-gene joint analysis may carry out more comprehensive and in-depth researches in the future. This paper reviews the progress of related gene polymorphism of 5-Fu-based chemotherapy efficacy and adverse reactions in colorectal cancer.

OBJECTIVE： To investigate the effects of different doses of total alkaloids from Aconitum racemulosum （ARTA） on serum inflammation factors and FOS protein expression in synovial tissue of joint in collagen-induced arthritis （CIA） model rats， and to investigate its potential mechanism of anti-rheumatoid arthritis （RA）. METHODS： Male SD rats were randomly divided into blank group， model group， positive group （Compound dexamethasone acetate ointment， 0.2 g/kg）， ARTA low-dose， medium-dose and high-dose groups （56.26， 112.50， 225.00 mg/kg， by the weight of ARTA in the extract）， with 10 rats in each group. Except for blank group， other groups were given subcutaneous injection of Bovine collagen Ⅱ emulsified with incomplete Freund’s adjuvant into the left foot to establish CIA model； the left foot were smeared with relevant medicine from the day of modeling. Blank group and model group were smeared with constant volume of 65％ ethanol， 3 times a day， for consecutive 28 days. On the 7th， 14th， 21st and 28th day of administration， the thickness of left hind toe was measured with vernier caliper， and the degree of foot swelling was calculated. The serum contents of IL-1β， IL-6 and TNF-α in rats were measured by ELISA after last administration. The expression of FOS protein in synovial tissue was determined by immunohistochemical method [expressed by HIS]. The comprehensive score was conculated by entropy weight method. Effects of each dosage on above indexes of CIA model rats were evaluated with the comprehensive score. RESULTS： Compared with blank group， the degree of foot swelling， serum content of inflammatory factors and HIS value were increased significantly in model group （P＜0.05）. Compared with model group， the degree of foot swelling in each administration group， serum contents of IL-1β， IL-6 and TNF-α， HIS in positive group and ARTA high-dose group， serum contents of IL-6 and TNF-α in ARTA medium-dose group as well as serum content of TNF-α in ARTA low-dose group were decreased significantly（P＜0.05）. Comprehensive score of above indicators were 0.37（positive group）， 0.31（ARTA high-dose group）， 0.23（ARTA medium-dose group） and 0.09（ARTA low-dose group）. CONCLUSIONS： ARTA can improve CIA model rats， and the effect tends to increase with the increase of dose. Above effect may be associated with reducing serum content of inflammatory factors and inhibiting the expression of FOS protein in synovial tissue.
