1.Research progress of miRNA in age-related macular degeneration

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a multifactorial disease affected by environmental factors and genetic variation, which is a major cause of irreversible vision loss in the elderly. miRNA is a kind of endogenous non-coding RNA, which plays an important role in the pathogenesis of AMD, such as oxidative stress, pathological neovascularization and inflammation, by inhibiting or silencing the expression of transcription genes. miRNA has unique advantages in terms of ease synthesis, targeting and additive effect, a large number of experiments have proved the therapeutic potential of miRNA in AMD, which is expected to become a new method for the treatment of AMD in the future. Since the pathogenesis of AMD has not been fully elucidated, it is still necessary to continue to study the pathogenesis of AMD, the biological effects and mechanisms of various miRNA in the occurrence and development of AMD, and observe its therapeutic effects in AMD, so as to provide more effective options for the precise prevention and treatment of AMD.

The Doha Declaration has entrusted to the members of WHO the right to use the compulsory licensing for drug patents in the face of global public health crises.Although the basic compulsory licensing system for drug patents has been established in China, the efficiency of its implementation is low, the responsibility of its executive departments is unclear, the related rules are not fully understood by pharmaceutical enterprises, it is thus necessary to improve and perfect the relevant legal provisions and systems in order to effectively improve the accessibility of drugs.
3.Comparison of the efficacies of different ventilatory pattern during one-lung ventilation

Objective To evaluate the efficacies of different ventilatory pattern during one lung ventilation (OLV). Methods During OLV, all patients underwent two different ventilatory pattern, total volume (10ml/kg) without PEEP and half tidal volume (5ml/kg) with PEEP of 7cmH 2O. The arterial blood samples were collected for blood gases analysis immediately before one lung ventilation, 30min following two different OLV pattern and 30 min after resuming two lung ventilation. 4.A STUDY ON CHANGES OF PLASMA AND LIVER SELENIUM AND THE EFFECT OF SELENIUM SUPPLEMENTATION ON VITAMIN E IN BURNED RATS

The selenium levels in plasma and liver of rats suffered from 3rd degree burn of 20% BSA on dorsum were significantly decreased, plasma VE dropped too, while the VE contents of RBC and liver were as high as those in control group. After giving 2.3?g selenium/100g bw as selenite to the burned rats, the VE contents of RBC and liver as well as plasma were then decreased as compared with control. The content of plasma total sulfhydryl group decreased more in selenium-supplemented group than in burned control.These results indicated that the requirement of VE probably increased after supplementation of selenium in burned rats.
