BackgroundClinical supervision is a critical component in the training and professional development of psychological counselors. Scientifically evaluating the effectiveness of clinical supervision is essential, yet reliable and effective tools for such assessments are lacing in China. ObjectiveTo translate Supervision Evaluation and Supervision Competence (SE-SC) Scale into Chinese version and evaluate its reliability and validity in clinical supervision in China, so as to provide a tool for the evaluation of supervisory effectiveness. MethodsThe SE-SC scale was translated, back-translated and culturally adapted, followed by a pilot survey to develop the Chinese version of SE-SC scale. A total of 42 counselors engaged in clinical counseling and receiving supervision at a counseling center in Shanghai from July 2021 to February 2022 were selected as the study participants. Item analysis was conducted to assess item discrimination, with critical ratio method applied to determine which items retention. Hierarchical cluster analysis was performed to compare the structure of Chinese version with the original scale. Criterion-related validity and convergent validity were used to evaluate the validity of the scale, while Cronbach's α coefficient was used to assess its reliability. ResultsChinese version of SE-SC scale consisted of a total of 28 item, including six clusters. Registered supervisors scored significantly higher than internship supervisors on the total score and on clusters three, four, five and six (t=2.536, 2.747, 5.881, 3.718, 6.090, P<0.05). The total and cluster scores of the Chinese version of the SE-SC scale were positively correlated with self-rated supervision helpfulness and overall satisfaction (r=0.492~0.758, 0.412~0.815, P<0.01). The Cronbach's α coefficient for the overall scale was 0.975,with values for the six clusters were 0.938, 0.821, 0.962, 0.871, 0.884 and 0.823, respectively. ConclusionChinese version of SE-SC scale demonstrates good reliability and validity, and it can be considered as a promising assessment tool for evaluating the effectiveness of clinical supervision.

This article provides a review of domestic and international research on nursing-sensitive quality indicators (NSQIs) and evaluation systems for acute poisoning patients. It organizes the indicators into three dimensions based on the "structure-process-outcome" framework. The need for establishing a unified, comprehensive, and nationally suitable system of NSQIs in China is emphasized to standardize nursing practices and improve the monitoring of care quality. Although existing indicators possess some scientific validity, they often overlap with emergency nursing quality evaluation systems or are limited to specific types of poisoning. In addition, large-scale clinical trials to test their practical application and accessibility have yet to be conducted. This review aims to consolidate and analyze NSQIs for acute poisoning patients and provide a foundation and reference for improving the quality of nursing care for these patients.

Objective:To gain a deep understanding of the supportive care needs of families of children with retinoblastoma (RB) through qualitative research. Methods:From March to May 2022, a semi-structured interview was conducted using purposive sampling to select the family members of 15 RB children in the Department of Eye Tumor of Beijing Tongren Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University. Colaizzi 7-step analysis method was used to refine, extract, and analyze interview data. Results:The supportive care needs of the families of RB children were summarized into three themes and six sub-themes, namely, psychological needs (emotional listening and psychological support), knowledge needs (disease knowledge needs, children's post discharge guidance, internet resource needs), and economic needs (social resource integration) .Conclusions:RB, as a malignant eye tumor, often brings a heavy burden to families. Family members of children generally experience negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, as well as a lack of knowledge. The economic burden on families is heavy, and there is a high demand for supportive care. The supportive care program for families of RB children is not yet perfect, and nurses should provide emotional support and professional assistance to the families, providing help and guidance in psychological counseling, knowledge needs, economic assistance, and other aspects.

We investigated the prevalence and spatial distribution characteristics of T.gondii infection in cats in China,to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and con-trol of T.gondii.We searched PubMed,CNKI,Wanfang Da-tabase,and Baidu Academic Database to retrieve studies on the seroprevalence of T.gondii in domestic cats published by December 31,2023,in China,to investigate the spatial loca-tion and expression of T.gondii infection in China by using Geographical Information Systems(GIS).SPSS 26.0 software was used for statistical analysis.A total of 86 eligible studies published between 1984 and 2023 were included in this study, covering 28 provincial administrative regions and involving 20 722 cats. The ArcGIS classification results indicated that the overall positivity rate of T.gondii in domestic cats was 14.78%(3 080/20 836,95%CI:14.07%-15.03%).No epidemiological study of T.gondii infection in cats has been reported in Tibet,Tianjin,Hainan,Hong Kong,Ma-cao,or Taiwan. The prevalence of T.gondii infection in cats was highest in Shanxi Province(60%,54/90,95%CI:49.82%-70.18%),followed by Hebei Province(57.33%,43/75,95%CI:46.07%-68.59%),Henan Province(45.53%,173/380,95%CI:46.07%-68.59%),and Yunnan Province(43.64%,24/55,95%CI:30.49%-56.79%).The lowest seroprevalence of T.gondii antibody was found in Jiangxi Province(2.47%,2/81,95%CI:-0.90%-5.90%).Furthermore,the seropreva-lence of T.gondii in cats in northern China was 14.12%(2 044/14 491 95%CI:12.34%-15.90%),whereas that in southern China was 16.30%(1 036/6 355 95%CI:15.40%-17.20%).Significant differences were observed between them(x2=16.60,P<0.05).The temporal distribution results indicated a decrease in the overall seroprevalence of T.gondii in cats in China from 1984 to 2023.Our findings suggested that T.gondii in cats is widespread in China, with a stable epidemic cycle, and the rates of Toxoplasma positivity vary greatly among regions. The increasing prevalence of pet cats in China, and the close rela-tionship between these cats and humans, may pose substantial exposure risks to a large susceptible population. Therefore, the association between cat ownership and T.gondii infection in humans, and how to decrease human environmental contamination through cat exposure to T.gondii and T.gondii oocysts, requires further investigation.
