Objective To investigate the effects of cornuside on intestinal injury in rats with septic shock,and clarify its possible mechanism.Methods SD rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group,low-,medium-,and high-dose comecarpine glycosides groups,and TREM1 inhibitor(LR12)group.HE staining was used to observe the pathological injury of small intestinal mucosa.The levels of D-lactic acid(D-LA)and diamine oxidase(DAO)in serum and secretory immunoglobulin(sIg A)in small intestine were detected by ELISA.Intestinal mucosal permeability was detected by fluorescein isothiocyanate-dextran(FITC-D)tracer method.ELISA was used to detect the levels of interferon(IFN)-γ,tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,interleukin(IL)-1β,IL-10 and arginase(Arg)-1 in serum.The polarization of macrophages in small intestinal tissue was detected by flow cytometry.Western blot was used to detect the protein expression levels of triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1(TREM1),CD86 and CD206 in small intestine.Results Compared with the normal control group,the model group had serious pathological injury of the small intestinal mucosa,and the serum levels of D-LA,DAO,FITC-D,IFN-γ,TNF-α,and IL-1β significantly increased(P<0.05),while the levels of sIg A,IL-10,and Arg-1 significantly decreased(P<0.05).The M1/M2 ratio of macrophages and the expression levels of TREM1 and CD86 proteins in the small intestine tissue significantly increased(P<0.05),while the expression level of CD206 protein significantly decreased(P<0.05).Compared with the model group,the small intestinal mucosal injury of the rats in each dose cornuside group and LR12 group significantly improved,and the serum levels of D-LA,DAO,FITC-D,IFN-γ,TNF-α,and IL-1β significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the levels of sIg A,IL-10,and Arg-1 significantly increased(P<0.05).The M1/M2 ratio of macrophages and the expression levels of TREM1 and CD86 proteins in the small intestine tissue significantly decreased(P<0.05),while the expression level of CD206 protein significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion Cornuside can reduce intestinal injury in rats with septic shock,and the mechanism may be related to inhibiting TREM1-mediated M1 polarization of macrophages.

Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety profile of antaitasvir phosphate combined with yiqibuvir in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) of various genotypes, without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis.Methods:394 cases with CHC from 22 centers were collected from October 2021 to April 2023. They were randomly assigned to receive either the experimental drugs (antaitasvir phosphate 100 mg+yiqibuvir 600 mg) or placebo treatment in a 3∶1 ratio. The patients were administered drugs once a day for 12 consecutive weeks, and then followed up for 24 weeks after treatment cessation. All subjects were unblinded at the four-week follow-up following drug discontinuation, with the experimental drug group continuing to complete subsequent post-discontinuation follow-up. The placebo group was switched to receive the experimental drugs for a repeated 12-week treatment period and followed up for another 24 weeks after discontinuation of the drug (placebo delayed treatment phase).The sustained virologic response rate (SVR12) was observed for subjects in the double-blind phase and the placebo delayed-treatment phase at 12 weeks after treatment cessation.Virological resistance analysis was performed on subjects who failed treatment. Objective This article aims to investigate the association between hypertension and the risk of GSD by conducting a national multicenter study,a systematic review,and a meta-analysis.Methods The study was conducted in three stages.In the first stage,subjects were recruited for health examination in four hospitals in Chengdu,Tianjin,Beijing,and Chongqing,China,from 2015 to 2020,and the multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the association between hypertension and the risk of GSD in each center.In the second stage,Embase,PubMed,Wanfang Data,VIP,and CNKI databases were searched for related studies published up to May 2021,and a meta-analysis was conducted to further verify such association.In the third stage,the random effects model was used for pooled analysis of the results of the multicenter cross-sectional study and the findings of previous literature.Results A total of 633 948 participants were enrolled in the cross-sectional study,and the prevalence rate of GSD was 7.844%.The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension was positively associated with the risk of GSD(P＜0.05).Subgroup analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the association between hypertension and GSD between individuals with different sexes,ages,and subtypes of GSD.A total of 80 articles were included in the systematic review and the meta-analysis,and the results showed that the risk of GSD was increased by 1.022 times for every 10 mmHg increase in diastolic pressure and 1.014 times for every 10 mmHg increase in systolic pressure.Conclusion Hypertension significantly increases the risk of GSD,and the findings of this study will provide a basis for the etiology of GSD and the identification of high-risk groups.

With the continuous development of science and technology,environmental pollution has become increasingly severe,which makes environmental monitoring crucial.In recent years,electrochemical sensing strategy has attracted wide attention due to its advantages such as low cost,easy operation and fast detection speed.However,the detection performance still faces many challenges such as low sensitivity,high limit of detection and poor selectivity.Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)is a kind of ordered network porous crystal formed by the coordination bond of organic ligands and metal ions/ion clusters,which can be used to prepare high-performance electrode materials for construction of electrochemical sensors because of their characteristics of large specific surface area,adjustable pore size and diverse structure.However,the poor conductivity and stability of MOFs result in poor electrochemical detection performance,which seriously limits their extensive applications in the field of electrochemistry.Combining MOFs with other functional materials can not only overcome the inherent defects of MOFs but also have the superior properties of both MOFs and functional materials,and the synergistic effect between MOFs and functional materials is conducive to improving the detection performance.Therefore,MOFs composites have been widely used in the electrochemical detection of environmental pollutants.This paper reviewed the applications progress of electrochemical sensors based on MOFs composites(MOFs combine with carbon materials,conductive polymers,metal nanoparticles or MOFs)in detection of environmental pollutants(Pesticides,heavy metal ions,phenolic compounds and nitrites)in the past five years.The prospects and challenges of electrochemical sensors based on MOFs composites for detection of environmental pollutants were also discussed.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) is a chronic lung disease due to impaired pulmonary development and is one of the main causes of respiratory failure in preterm infants. Preterm infants with BPD have significantly higher complication and mortality rates than those without BPD. At present, comprehensive management is the main intervention method for BPD, including reasonable respiratory and circulatory support, appropriate enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition, application of caffeine/glucocorticoids/surfactants, and out-of-hospital management after discharge. The continuous advances in stem cell medicine in recent years provide new ideas for the treatment of BPD. Various pre-clinical trials have confirmed that stem cell therapy can effectively prevent lung injury and promote lung growth and damage repair. This article performs a comprehensive analysis of the mechanism of mesenchymal stem cells in the treatment of BPD, so as to provide a basis for clinical applications.

AIM: To explore the efficacy of Danshen injection iontophoresis in the treatment of retinal vein occlusion(RVO).METHODS: The clinical data of 90 patients(90 eyes)with RVO treated in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2021 were analyzed retrospectively, and they were divided into control group and observation group according to treatment methods. A total of 38 patients(38 eyes)in the control group were treated with intravenous Xueshuantong+oral compound Xueshuantong capsule+enteric-coated aspirin, and 52 patients(52 eyes)in the observation group were treated with Danshen injection iontophoresis on this basis. The treatment time of the two groups was 3mo. The clinical efficacy, best corrected visual acuity, retinal condition and hemorheological indexes(whole blood low shear viscosity, fibrinogen)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.RESULTS: The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(87% vs 58%,P<0.05)at 3mo after treatment. The best corrected visual acuity in both groups was better than that before treatment, and the observation group was better than the control group(all P<0.05).The circulation time of retinal vein, the relative diameter of retinal vein and the relative area of retinal hemorrhage in the observation group were lower than those before treatment,and the observation group was lower than the control group(all P<0.05). The whole blood low shear viscosity and fibrinogen levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group was lower than those in the control group(all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Danshen injection iontophoresis is effective in the treatment of patients with RVO, which can effectively improve the visual acuity, treat fundus lesions and improve the abnormal blood flow.
