Objective:To evaluate the disinfection effect of high-energy pulse ultraviolet disinfection equipment in medical institution settings.Methods:The disinfection effect was evaluated through field tests and laboratory tests. Among them, 135 high-frequency contact points were selected from nine departments in the field test. Samples were collected before and after disinfection, and the disinfection effects of 75% alcohol wipes wiping disinfection, high-energy pulse ultraviolet disinfection robot disinfection and high-energy pulse ultraviolet handheld disinfection instrument were compared. In the laboratory test, 30 infected areas of the simulated test table were exposed to vertical ultraviolet irradiation and the bacterial-killing rate before and after disinfection was calculated.Results:In the field test, the bacteria-killing rates of 75% alcohol wipes, high-energy pulse ultraviolet disinfection robot and high-energy pulse ultraviolet handheld disinfection instrument were 94.99%, 91.53% and 95.94%, respectively, and the difference was statistically significant. The disinfection effect of the high-energy pulse ultraviolet handheld disinfection instrument was better than that of the high-energy pulse ultraviolet disinfection robot ( P values <0.05). In the laboratory test, the killing log value of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli on the carrier were both greater than 3.00. In the simulated field test, the killing log value of Staphylococcus aureus on the surface samples were 4.99. Conclusion:Both the high-energy pulse ultraviolet handheld disinfection instrument and the high-energy pulse ultraviolet disinfection robot have good disinfection effects, which are similar to the disinfection effects of conventional 75% alcohol wipes.

Objective:To develop an evaluation index system for dynamic adjustment effect of medical service prices in public hospitals, as a set of quantitative evaluation tools for management departments to keep track of the trend in time, implement dynamic monitoring and guide decision-making.Methods:Based on the evaluation system of price adjustment effect, through the importance assessment of expert consultation and multiple index percentile method, the scoring criteria were formulated and the empirical analysis was carried out.Results:The total scores of hospital A and hospital B were 71.31 and 77.94 respectively, classified as " average" . The evaluation could basically reflect the effect of dynamic adjustment of medical service price in public hospitals.Conclusions:The evaluation has the functions of displaying differences, witnessing achievements and tracing causes. It can be used to evaluate the effect of dynamic adjustment of regional prices, to assist the regulators to keep track of trends, monitor dynamically and guide decision-making in time, and be used by hospitals in self-evaluation to find problems, improve their own operation and promote the healthy development of hospitals.

To satisfy the daily demand of skin condition maintenance, make non-invasive real-time detection, and get proper quantitative evaluation of skin viscoelasticity parameters at the same time, a portable non-invasive detection system to acquire real-time skin tissue viscoelasticity is developed. The system relies mainly on a single-degree-of-freedom forced vibration model, with spring-damp-mass, and on dynamic micro indentation method. The experiment is conducted on two kinds of springs, and on pigskin tissues as well, the system's suitability, accuracy and stability are confirmed. The skin viscoelasticity detection in vivo is also carried out on 20 subjects with different ages, the differences of skin viscoelasticity in various parts of the body are investigated, and the correlations between age and skin viscoelasticity are clarified.

Objective: To understand literacy development of school-aged children of grade 2-5 and its influencing factors in Guangzhou,and to provide a reference for the reform of the teaching of Chinese subject. Methods: By using cluster sampling method, 1 661 school-age children from grade 2 to grade 5 from 5 primary schools in Guangzhou were selected. The self-designed questionnaire was used to obtain demographic data of the participants. The Primary School Literacy Assessment Scale and the Pupil Rating Scale Revised Screening for Learning Disabilities was used to evaluate the literacy and the cognitive characteristics of participants. Results: The average literacy of children of grade 2 to grade 5 in Guangzhou was as follows: grade 2 was (1 159±295), grade 3 was (1 919±394), grade 4 was (2 599±365), grade 5 was (2 947±303), higher than the norm(P<0.01). The average literacy of grade 2 students was lower than the national curriculum requirements while students of grade 3 to grade 5 met the requirements. Univariate analysis found differences in literacy among school-age children based on gender, reading experience before age 6, and parental education background (P<0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that grade (β=607.04), preschool reading experience (β=109.89), father’s education (β=27.14), language factor (β=27.21), social behavior (β=16.03) was positively correlated with literacy in boys (P<0.05). Grade (β=603.53), auditory comprehension and memory (β=29.39), language factor (β=16.74) was positively correlated with the literacy of girls (P<0.05), while time and orientation judgments were negatively correlated with the literacy of both boys (β=-18.95) and girls (β=-21.93) (P<0.05). Conclusion The literacy level of school-age children in grade 2 to 5 in Guangzhou has reached the national literacy requirements with students in grade 2 being relatively lower. Literacy is related to grade, preschool reading experience, father’s education, and child’s cognitive characteristics. Factors affecting literacy in boys and girls are different. Literacy education should vary according to gender.

Objective: Ischemia-reperfusion (IR) injury is a leading cause of flap compromise and organ dysfunction during free-tissue transfer, and remains a great challenge for plastic surgeons. Thioredoxin-1 (Trx-1) was proved to protect the IR flap by mitigating the oxidative stress, and inhibiting the activation of apoptosis signal-regulating kinase-1 (ASK-1) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway. The aim of this study is to investigate the distinction of Trx-1 expression, apoptosis indices in different layers of IR flaps, and the feasibility of tissue-layer-specific administration of Trx-1. Methods: Ten patients′ specimens of IR flaps for DIEP breast reconstruction were collected and assessed for apoptosis and Trx-1 expression. Twenty mice were used to establish the IR flap model. The mice were sacrificed twenty-four hours after reperfusion. The flap tissues were harvested and tested by immunohistochemistry staining and TUNEL assay. The tissue-layer-specific dermoprotective effect of Trx-1 and the molecular mechanisms were assessed by an in vitro epithelial skin cell hypoxia-reoxygenation model. The statistics were conducted by t test and ANOVA using SPSS 20.0. Results: Trx-1 expression and apoptotic cells were observed mainly located in the basal layer of epidermis and the papillary layer of dermis in human IR flaps and mice models. Trx-1 depletion was 24.19 %± 2.23% in the basal layer of epidermis and the papillary layer of dermis of patient IR flaps, decreasing significantly compared with 70.71% ± 6.38% in control group (t = 27.54, P< 0.001). Similar tissue-layer-specific down regulation of Trx-1 also displayed in mice IR flap models (19.83% ± 2.34% vs. 76.59% ± 4.88%; t = 34.71, P<0.001). The apoptotic index in human samples significantly increased from 1.32% ± 1.52% in control group to 43.71 %± 3.17% in IR group (t =38.23, P<0.001); while it was proved to be dramatically raised in mice models from 0.86% ± 1.15% in control group to 41.14 %± 4.21% in IR group (t= 36.96, P < 0.001). Western Blot analysis revealed Trx-1 down regulation and a significant increase in ASK-1, p-p38, and c-PARP abundance in the hypoxia-reoxygenation-treated HaCaT cells (P < 0.01). Supplementation of recombinant human Trx-1 significantly reduced the apoptosis-related protein expression. Conclusions The basal layer of epidermis and the papillary layer of dermis are the main damaged tissue layers in the early stage of skin flap ischemia-reperfusion injury. The IR flap can be protected by precisely replenishing the vulnerable layers with Trx-1.

Objective: To construct an index system for evaluating the effectiveness of dynamic pricing adjustment of medical services, for the purpose of providing a set of evaluation tools for price regulatory authorities to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing adjustment of medical services, to keep track of pricing trends, to implement dynamic monitoring and to guide decision-making. Methods: Oriented to public hospitals in Guangdong province, literature analysis and Delphi method were used to construct the index system for evaluating the effectiveness of dynamic adjustment of medical service price. Descriptive analysis, consistency test and index importance evaluation were applied to statistical analysis. Results: Thirty-two experts evaluated the importance of 41 alternative indicators. The index system for evaluating the effectiveness of dynamic adjustment of medical service price was finally constructed, including six structural indicators, six process indicators and six result indicators. Conclusions Experts are representative, authoritative and well-coordinated. The consultation results are reliable. The evaluation index system has high reliability and validity, and can be used to objectively evaluate the dynamic adjustment effect of medical service price.

Objective To search for a treatment approach for scalp avulsion injury based on the clinical experiences and review of literature.Methods Twenty-six consecutive scalp avulsion cases were involved in the study:15 cases were complete scalp avulsion (5 including forehead skin) and 11 cases were partial scalp avulsion.Cranial bones exposure occurred in 16 cases,11 of which had a size over 4 × 4 cm2.The treatment methods were various:11 cases with microsurgical replantation,9 cases with skin grafting,4 cases with secondary skin grafting followed by multiple drilling of the calvarium,1 case with local flap,and 1 case with free flap.According to the clinical cases and literature reviews,authors tried to search for an optimal protocol.Results Patients with microsurgical replantation achieved the best recovery including hair growth.In case of not qualified or fail to microsurgical replantation,skin graft could be considered as an alterative step,whereas the result of it was no hair growth and usually scar healing.In summary,14 different clinical conditions followed with 10 surgical techniques were concluded in a route chart.Conclusions To achieve the optimal outcomes of scalp avulsion injury,proper techniques should be chosen according to the treatment protocols.

Aim To investigate the NIH3T3/STAT3CA cell proliferation ability and the STAT3 transcriptional activity affected by PTPMeg2 . Methods MTT assay and xenograft nude mice model were used to investigate the NIH3 T3/STAT3 CA cell proliferation inhibited by PTPMeg2 in vitro and in vivo. Co-immunoprecipitation assay was used to measure the interaction between PT-PMeg2 and STAT3CA. STAT3 transcriptional activity was measured by dual-luciferase assay. Results The NIH3 T3/STAT3 CA cell proliferation ability was signifi-cantly inhibited by PTPMeg2 in vitro and in vivo com-pared with the control group ( P <0.05 ) . The tran-scriptional activity was increased by PTPMeg2 , but not the PTPMeg2 mutant (PTPMeg2C515S) and the ShPT-PMeg2 . Conclusion PTPMeg2 plays a role in inhibi-ting the proliferation ability of NIH3 T3/STAT3 CA cells through inhibiting the STAT3 transcriptional activity.

Objective To investigate the changes in cerebral hemodynamics in different body positions in healthy volunteers.Methods Sixty right-handed healthy male volunteers,aged 22-26,height 167-178 cm,weighing 51-67 kg,were randomly divided into 4 groups ( n =15 each): 15 degrees head-down tilt group (group Ⅰ ),30 degrees head-down tilt group (group Ⅱ ),15 degrees head-up tilt group (group Ⅲ) and 30 degrees head-up tilt group (group Ⅳ ).Blood flow signals of right middle cerebral artery (MCA) and extracranial internal carotid artery (EICA) were detected by transcranial Doppler and systolic blood flow velocity (Vs),diastolic blood flow velocity (Vd ),mean blood flow velocity (Vm),pulsatility index (PI) and resistance index (RI) were recorded at supine position (baseline),immediately,10 and 30 min after body position change(T1-3 ).Lindegaard index was calculated.Results Compared with the baseline,in group [Ⅱ Lindegaard index was increased at T2,while Vs and Vm of MCA were decreased at T2,3,in group Ⅳ Vs of MCA and PI of EICA at T2,Vd and Vm of MCA at T2,3 were decreased ( P ＜ 0.05),while there was no significant difference in the variables mentioned above in the other two groups ( P ＞ 0.05 ).Conclusion In healthy adults,cerebral blood flow velocity decreases in 30 degrees headdown and head-up tilt positions,however there is no change in cerebral blood flow velocity in 15 degrees headdown and head-up tilt positions.
