Objective:To explore the effect of hyperbaric oxygen combined with papaverine in the treatment of non-gangrenous ischemic colitis. Methods:A total of 94 cases of non-gangrenous ischemic colitis admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of Zhoushan Women and Children Hospital from January 2018 to June 2019 were randomly divided into hyperbaric oxygen treatment group and control group with 47 cases in each group. The control group received conventional symptomatic supportive treatment and papaverine treatment, and the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group received conventional symptomatic supportive treatment and hyperbaric oxygen combined with papaverine treatment. Both two groups received continuous treatment for 2 weeks. The clinical indicators, hemorheological indicators, serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, adverse reactions, and clinical efficacies of the two groups were compared. Results:The clinical indicators such as the time to abdominal pain relief, the time to tenderness relief, the time to the disappearance of fecal occult blood, the time to intestinal function recovery, and the length of hospital stay, in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group were significantly shorter than those in the control group ( P<0.01). After 2 weeks of treatment, the blood viscosity and the level of blood fibrinogen in the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P<0.01), while the serum level of SOD was significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0.01). During the treatment, there was no significant difference in gastrointestinal reactions, allergies, or other adverse reactions between the two groups ( P>0.05). The total effective rate of the hyperbaric oxygen treatment group was higher than that of the control group [95.74% (45/47) vs. 80.85% (38/47)]( P<0.05). Conclusion:Hyperbaric oxygen combined with papaverine in the treatment of non-gangrenous ischemic colitis can improve the clinical indicators and hemorheological indicators, and achieve obvious clinical efficacy with a satisfactory safety.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2015;22(9):1297-1299
Objective To study the clinical efficacy of compound herba Houttuyniae granules used in mycoplasma pneumonia in the elderly and analyze the change of IL-6,serum myocardial enzymes and vascular endothelial growth factor before and after the treatment. Methods According to treatment methods,80 elderly patients with mycoplasma pneumonia, were divided into the control group and treatment group,40 cases in each group, the control group were given Ribavirin granules, the treatment group was given on the basis of the control group and compound herba Houttuyniae granules. The therapeutic effects and the incidence of adverse drug reactions were observed, and the change of IL-6,serum myocardial enzymes and vascular endothelial growth factor of the two groups before and after the treatment were compared. Results After 7-days'treatment,the efficiency of the treatment group(97.5%) was significantly higher than that of the control group(72.5%) (x2 =9.804,P <0.05).After the drug treatment, the rate of adverse drug reactions was 5.0% in the treatment group, which was significantly lower than the 32.5% in the control group(x2 =9.928,P < 0.05).Before treatment, the IL-6,serum myocardial enzymes and vascular endothelial growth factor were not significantly different between the two groups (all P > 0.05).After treatment, the IL-6,serum myocardial enzymes and vascular endothelial growth factor of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group (all P < 0.05).Conclusion The treatment of compound herba Houttuyniae granules used in elderly mycoplasma pneumonia is efficient and the incidence of adverse reactions was low.It can improve the clinically relevant outcome measures and is worthy of clinical application.
