Patients with severe trauma require an extremely timely treatment and transfusion plays an irreplaceable role in the emergency treatment of such patients. An increasing number of evidence-based medicinal evidences and clinical practices suggest that patients with severe traumatic bleeding benefit from early transfusion of low-titer group O whole blood or hemostatic resuscitation with red blood cells, plasma and platelet of a balanced ratio. However, the current domestic mode of blood supply cannot fully meet the requirements of timely and effective blood transfusion for emergency treatment of patients with severe trauma in clinical practice. In order to solve the key problems in blood supply and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma, Branch of Clinical Transfusion Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, Group for Trauma Emergency Care and Multiple Injuries of Trauma Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Young Scholar Group of Disaster Medicine Branch of Chinese Medical Association organized domestic experts of blood transfusion medicine and trauma treatment to jointly formulate Chinese expert consensus on blood support mode and blood transfusion strategies for emergency treatment of severe trauma patients ( version 2024). Based on the evidence-based medical evidence and Delphi method of expert consultation and voting, 10 recommendations were put forward from two aspects of blood support mode and transfusion strategies, aiming to provide a reference for transfusion resuscitation in the emergency treatment of severe trauma and further improve the success rate of treatment of patients with severe trauma.

3.Effect of added halide ions and pH on the solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride and the evaluation of selected, discriminating dissolution media

The solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride was determined in acidic aqueous media in the absence and presence of different concentration of NaCl, NaBr, or NaI at 37 ℃ in order to facilitate proper selection of dissolution media that have adequate discriminating power for enhancing the likelihood of a generic drug product to successfully pass in-vivo bioequivalence test. In the range of pH 5.0 to pH 1.0, the solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride decreased with the decrease in the pH of aqueous solution, and the solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride further decreased with the increase in the concentration of added sodium chloride. The solubility decrease of a few weakly basic drug molecules in acidic media and in higher concentration of added chloride was published previously by other researchers, and the observed decrease in the solubility in the presence of higher chloride concentration was interpreted in terms of common-ion effect. However, the results in this paper showed that the solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride also decreased when sodium chloride was replaced with sodium bromide or iodide. The approach described in this paper (i.e. substituting sodium chloride with sodium bromide or iodide) provides an effective method to verify whether common-ion effect is the true (or at least the sole) driving force behind the observed decrease in the solubility of nebivolol hydrochloride in the presence of sodium chloride. The solubility decrease reported in this paper can be interpreted in terms of salting-out effect of sodium chloride, bromide, and iodide. For hydrochloride salt of a weakly basic drug molecule like nebivolol hydrochloride, its solubility in an acidic dissolution medium can be purposely decreased to the lower end of sink condition by adding sodium chloride to make the resulting medium more discriminating. As shown in this paper, a medium at pH 1.2 with added sodium chloride is discriminating and this medium is shown to be bio-relevant to the in-vivo data collected under fasting condition (

Objective To investigate whether elevated baseline levels of high sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hsCRP) and neutrophil (NE) are associated with an increased risk of breast cancer in Kailuan female cohort. Methods Females from Kailuan cohort (2006-2007) were included in this study. Information on check-up, hsCRP and NE were collected at baseline for all subjects. Multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models were used to calculate hazard ratios (HR) and 95% confidence intervals (95%CI) of association between baseline hsCRP and NE values and breast cancer risk. Results By December 31, 2015, a total of 18 866 participants were enrolled in this study. During the follow-up, 183 new cases of breast cancer were observed. All participants were divided into three groups according to the level of hsCRP (<1 mg/L, 1-3 mg/L and >3 mg/L). The cumulative incidence of breast cancer were 829/105, 1 211/105 and 1 495/105 in these 3 groups, respectively ( 2=12.08, P=0.002). Compared with participants with lower hsCRP levels (<1 mg/L), individuals with the highest hsCRP (>3 mg/L) levels had significantly increased risk of breast cancer (HR=1.71,95%CI: 1.18-2.47, P=0.005), howerver, we didn’t find the statistically significant association between NE level (<3.70×109/Lvs. ≥3.70×109/L) and the risk of brease cancer (P>0.05). Conclusions Elevated levels of hsCRP at baseline might increase the risk of breast cancer in females.
5. Safety Evaluation of Over-ground Parts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis

Objective: To evaluate the toxicological safety of over-ground parts of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, in order to provide basis for the rational utilization of over-ground parts of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma recourses.Method: Mice acute oral toxicity test, micronucleus test of mice bone marrow, mice sperm shape abnormality test and toxicological test based on chronic nonbacterial prostatitis model were carried out.Result: Maximal tolerable dose(MTD) of over-ground parts of G.uralensis water extract (WE) and alcohol extract (AE) were 96,128 g·kg-1, respectively. Macro-porous resin enriched product of AE was harmful to mice, with gender differences. Micronucleus rates of each dose(8,16,32 g·kg-1) group and control group for female mouse were 0.28%, 0.34%, 0.26% and 0.22%, respectively. Micronucleus rates of each dose(8,16,32 g·kg-1) group and control group for male mouse were 0.32%, 0.30%, 0.36% and 0.28%, respectively. Sperm shape abnormality rates of each dose group and control group were 3.16%, 3.01%, 2.67% and 3.23%, respectively. Micronucleus rate and sperm shape abnormality rate had no significant increase compared with the negative control. The 30-day repeated intragastric WE and AE had no effect on the general conditions of the model rats. Compared with normal group, AE group showed a significant decrease in heart weight, and significant increases in liver weight, liver index and kidney index (P<0.05). Both of AE and WE group showed significant increases in globulin (GLB) and creatinine (CRE) levels (P<0.05). The transaminases of individual rats were abnormal. Four liver pathological changes were found in necropsy, histopathological examination revealed that liver cells degeneration, necrosis and liver tissue inflammation occurred in the individual rats with abnormalities in biochemical index and organ index.Conclusion: The results indicated that both of WE and AE have potential toxicity. WE does not show any genetic toxicity to mice. Therefore, further studies shall be made for toxicological safety of over-ground parts of G. uralensis.
6.Investigation and analysis of influence of geographical environment factors on spatial distribution of flavonoid of Epimedium koreanum.

The study is aimed to clarify the spatial distribution of Epimedium koreanum( Ek) high-quality production areas. Through visiting and field investigation,collecting the distribution information of Ek samples,and based on the four kinds of flavonoids in Ek,the high-quality production areas and distribution of Ek distribution of the main environmental factors were drawn using GIS technology,the maximum entropy model( MaxEnt),geographical detector statistical analysis method,and the statistical significance of regression equation were obtained. Considering the content of 4 main flavonoids in Ek,the results of this study showed that the main environmental factors,such as precipitation,annual precipitation variation coefficient,annual average temperature and clay content exhibited the greatest influence on the growth suitability of Ek. Ek materials quality concentrated distribution in southeastern Jilin province Changbai mountain hinterland and northeastern Liaoning province. Ek with high content of epimedine A and epimedine C are mainly distributed in the southeastern Jilin province and northeastern Liaoning province,Ek with high epimedine B is distributed in eastern Liaoning province; high icariin Ek was found in most area of northeastern Liaoning province,a small amount distributed in the southeast of Jilin province. This study predicted the climate suitability distribution of Ek,and provided reference for the rational planning and establishment of the standardized cultivation base of Ek.

7.Non-catalytic roles for TET1 protein negatively regulating neuronal differentiation through srGAP3 in neuroblastoma cells.

The methylcytosine dioxygenases TET proteins (TET1, TET2, and TET3) play important regulatory roles in neural function. In this study, we investigated the role of TET proteins in neuronal differentiation using Neuro2a cells as a model. We observed that knockdown of TET1, TET2 or TET3 promoted neuronal differentiation of Neuro2a cells, and their overexpression inhibited VPA (valproic acid)-induced neuronal differentiation, suggesting all three TET proteins negatively regulate neuronal differentiation of Neuro2a cells. Interestingly, the inducing activity of TET protein is independent of its enzymatic activity. Our previous studies have demonstrated that srGAP3 can negatively regulate neuronal differentiation of Neuro2a cells. Furthermore, we revealed that TET1 could positively regulate srGAP3 expression independent of its catalytic activity, and srGAP3 is required for TET-mediated neuronal differentiation of Neuro2a cells. The results presented here may facilitate better understanding of the role of TET proteins in neuronal differentiation, and provide a possible therapy target for neuroblastoma.

8.Chronic Disease Control among Rural Residents in Beijing Pinggu District.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the composition and control status of chronic diseases among rural residents in a Beijing suburb district.
METHODSRural residents aged 35 years or older were investigated by stratified random sampling in Pinggu District, Beijing. Each participant received questionnaire-based survey,physical examination,and laboratory tests including routine blood test,urine albumin creatinine ratio (ACR), liver and renal function,serum lipid, fasting blood glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin.
RESULTSA total of 10 385 residents completed all items. Cerebrovascular disease was leading cause of hospitalization (accounting for 14.4%) and its incidence in the population was 9.6%. The incidences of hypertension,hyperlipidemia,diabetes mellitus,and gout/hyperuricemia,which were the main compositions related with metabolic diseases,were up to 64.4%,42.5%,24.4%, and 9.0%, respectively. The disease onset was significantly related with the age. The incidence of hypertension was gradually elevated with the increasing of age,while the peak age was 55-64 years for diabetes and 35-44 years for gout/hyperuricemia. The awareness rate of hypertension,diabetes,and chronic kidney disease was 60.2%, 55.1%,and 6.0%,respectively. The control rate of chronic disease was 19.2% and 28.8% in hypertensive and diabetic patients, respectively.
CONCLUSIONSCerebrovascular diseases and metabolic-associated diseases are the main chronic diseases affecting rural residents in Pinggu district, Beijing. The awareness rate and control rate of chronic diseases needs to be further enhanced by strengthening health education and improving the community medical service.

9.Immunohistochemical evaluation of mutant p53 protein over-expression in non-mucinous adenocarcinoma in-situ and invasive adenocarcinoma, NOS of lung.

OBJECTIVETo study the over-expression of mutant p53 protein in non-mucinous adenocarcinoma in-situ (NMAIS) and invasive adenocarcinoma, NOS of lung.
METHODSImmunohistochemical study for p53 protein was performed on 17 cases of NMAIS and 70 cases of invasive adenocarcinoma, NOS of lung. The difference in p53 over-expression between the two tumor subtypes was analyzed.
RESULTSThe over-expression of mutant p53 protein was observed in 0 case (0%) of NMAIS and 37 cases (52.9%) of invasive adenocarcinoma, NOS of lung. The difference was of statistical significance (P = 0.000).
CONCLUSIONMutant p53 protein over-expression may play a role in the progression of NMAIS to invasive adenocarcinoma, NOS.

10.Two new conjugated ketonic fatty acids from the stem bark of Juglans mandshurica.

The present study was designed to isolate and characterize novel chemical constituents of the stem bark of Juglans mandshurica Maxim. (Juglandaceae). The chemical constituents were isolated and purified by various chromatographic techniques. The structures of the compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectral data (1D and 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS, CD, UV, and IR) and by the comparisons of spectroscopic data with the reported values in the literatures. Two long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (1 and 2) were obtained and identified as (S)-(8E,10E)-12-hydroxy-7-oxo-8,10-octadecadienoic acid (1) and (S)-(8E, 10E)-12-hydroxy-7-oxo-8,10-octadecadienoic acid methyl ester (2). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on the isolation and structural elucidation of the two new conjugated ketonic fatty acids from this genus.
