The biological clock(also known as the circadian rhythm)is the fundamental reliance for all organisms on Earth to adapt and survive in the Earth's rotation environment.Circadian rhythm is the most basic regulatory mechanism of life activities, and plays a key role in maintaining normal physiological and biochemical homeostasis, disease occurrence and treatment.Recent studies have shown that the biologi-cal clock plays an important role in the development of oral tissues and in the occurrence and treatment of oral diseases.Since there is cur-rently no guiding literature on the research methods of biological clock in stomatology, researchers mainly conduct research based on pub-lished references, which has led to controversy about the research methods of biological clock in stomatology, and there are many confusions about how to rationally apply the research methods of circadia rhythms. In view of this, this expert consensus summarizes the characteristics of the biological clock and analyzes the shortcomings of the current biological clock research in stomatology, and organizes relevant experts to summarize and recommend 10 principles as a reference for the rational implementation of the biological clock in stomatology research.

To clarify the genetic diversity and structure of the nucleus population of F1-generation Litopenaeus vannamei, this study utilized 15 pairs of highly polymorphic microsatellite primers to analyze the simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers and genetic diversity in 15 full-sib families of L. vannamei. A total of 112 alleles (Na) and 60.453 effective alleles (Ne) were identified among the selected 15 SSR loci, with the average polymorphic information content (PIC) of 0.648. The average Ne, observed heterozygosity (Ho), and expected heterozygosity (He) in the 15 F1 families varied from 1.925 to 2.626, 0.425 to 0.783, and 0.403 to 0.572, respectively. The 15 full-sib families were primarily clustered into three categories in the phylogenetic analysis, with the genetic distance between families ranging from 0.252 to 0.574. Additionally, the genetic differentiation coefficient (Fst) among the families varied from 0.112 to 0.278, indicating substantial genetic differentiation. Overall, this study suggested that the genetic diversity of the 15 full-sib families was moderate, providing valuable genetic insights for the subsequent breeding initiatives aimed at enhancing the tolerance of L. vannamei to high levels of soybean meal.

Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2022;31(12):1021-1027
Objective:To investigate the effect and relationship of coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) on cardiac mechanical indices in patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease(NOCAD) in the resting state. Methods:This study was a single-center retrospective study. Seventy-nine NOCAD patients who hospitalized in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from July 2017 to March 2022 were recruited. All patients underwent conventional echocardiography examination and the examination of coronary flow velocity reserved by transthoracic Doppler echocardiography (TTDE-CFVR). Based on the results of TTDE-CFVR, patients were divided into CMD group (CFVR<2.5, 32 cases) and a control group (CFVR≥2.5, 47 cases). Clinical data, routine echocardiographic parameters, regional mechanical indices including regional myocardial work index(RWI) and regional longitudinal strain(RLS), global mechanical indices including left ventricular global longitudinal strain(GLS), global longitudinal strain in the endocardial layer(GLS-endo), global longitudinal strain in the epicardial layer(GLS-epi), left ventricular global work index(GWI), global contractive work(GCW), global waste work(GWW), global work efficiency(GWE) were compared between two groups. Binary logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of CMD. ROC curve was used to construct a prediction model for CMD.Results:There was no significant difference in sex ratio, BMI, smoking history, diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia between CMD group and control group. Age was significantly higher in the CMD group than in the control group. RWI, GWI, GCW, GWE and the absolute values of RLS, GLS, GLS-endo and GLS-epi were significantly lower in the CMD group than in the control group. Logistic regression analysis showed that the decrease of absolute value of GLS was an independent risk factor for the CMD( OR=1.335, 95% CI=1.041-1.713, P=0.023). ROC curve showed that myocardial strain-related indexes had a good decrease value for the CMD. Conclusions:For patients with NOCAD, the presence of CMD is associated with the decrease of left ventricular regional and global systolic function.

Objective:To investigate the transcriptional changes of host factors in human rhabdomyosarcoma cells (RD) infected with echovirus 11 (E11), and to preliminarily understand the effect of polo like kinase 1(PLK1)on E11 replication and possible molecular mechanism. Methods:Transcriptome sequencing (RNA SEQ) was used to analyze the differentially expressed genes between E11 infected RD cells group and RD cell control group. Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) was used to enrich and analyze significantly differentially expressed genes. The expression situation of the representative differentially expressed genes were validated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), and the effect of PLK1 inhibition on E11 replication was preliminarily explored. Results:A total of 3 726 differentially expressed genes were identified in RD cells infected with E11, and 484 differentially expressed genes were found in the infected group (0 h, 12 h, 24 h and 48 h after infection). These differentially expressed genes were mainly enriched in the immune response, intracellular signal transduction, transcription factor activity, sequence-specific DNA binding, protein kinase activity, nuclear and membrane components, and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. qPCR was used to verify the expression of six target genes (CXCL14, IFITM1, OAS1, SAMD9, MX1 and PLK1), which were consistent with result of RNA-Seq. The expression of CXCL14, IFITM1, OAS1, SAMD9, and MX1 were up-regulated by 1.2-104.97 times, and the expression of PLK1 was down regulated by 1-5.79 times. Inhibition of PLK1 increased E11 replication. Conclusions:Inflammatory response, PI3K-Akt, MAPK and other pathways may play an important role in the antiviral immune process of E11 infection. In addition, host factor PLK1 may play a key role in E11 infection by regulating the cell cycle.

Objective To explore the anti-tumor effect of 17XL strains of Plasmodium yoelii(P.y)infection on melanoma in mice. Methods B16F10 tumor cells were axillarilly injected into the right flank of 20 C57BL/6 mice to establish tumor-bearing mouse models. The next day,the mice were randomly divided into a P.y infection group and control group,10 mice each group. Each mouse of the P.y infection group was intraperitoneally injected with 1×106 red blood cells including 20% P.y infection red blood cells, and each one of the control group were intraperitoneally injected with 1×106 normal red blood cells of C57BL/6 mice. The time of tumor formation of the mice in the two groups was observed and the tumor volumes were measured. Results The time of tumor formation in the P.y infection group[(11.30 ± 0.21)d]was significantly later than that in the control group [(10.40 ± 0.22)d](P < 0.05). From the tumors could be accurately measured to the study end point, both the tumors of mice in the two groups were growing, and the tumor volumes of mice in the P.y infection group were significantly less than those in the control group at each time point(all P < 0.05). The growth rate of tumors in the P.y infection group[(71.10 ± 6.29)mm3/d]was significantly slower than that in the control group[(302.80 ± 49.94)mm3/d](P < 0.05),and the growth rates of tumors every day in the P.y infection group were significantly slower than those in the control group(all P < 0.05). Conclusion The P.y in-fection can delay the occurrence of tumor and inhibit the growth of melanoma.
