Objective To investigate the therapeutic effects of vitamin D combined with leuprorelin in girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty(ICPP).Methods A total of 102 girls with ICPP treated at The Fifth People's Hospital of Wuxi from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected and assigned to control group or observation group according to different treatment methods, with 51 girls in each group. The control group received subcutaneous injections of leuprorelin, while the observation group received vitamin D supplementation in addition to the leuprorelin injections. Both groups were treated for 12 months. The total effective rate, sex hormone levels(estradiol[E2],follicle-stimulating hormone[FSH],luteinizing hormone[LH]),primary sex characteristics(ovarian volume and uterine volume),growth metrics(height, body mass index[BMI],bone age, predicted adult height[PAH]),adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The observation group had higher total effective rate than the control group. After treatment, sex hormone levels, ovarian volume, uterine volume,BMI,and bone age in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, while height and PAH in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Vitamin D combined with leuprorelin can contribute to lowering sex hormone levels, slowing skeletal maturation, and improving PAH in ICPP girls.

Objective:
To identify core acupoint patterns and elucidate the molecular mechanisms of acupuncture for primary depressive disorder (PDD) through data mining and network analysis.
Methods:
A comprehensive literature search was conducted across PubMed, Embase, Ovid Technologies (OVID), Web of Science, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (VIP), Wanfang Data, and SinoMed Database from database foundation to January 31, 2025, for clinical studies on acupuncture treatment of PDD. Descriptive statistics, high-frequency acupoint analysis, degree and betweenness centrality evaluation, and core acupoint prescription mining identified predominant therapeutic combinations for PDD. Network acupuncture was used to predict therapeutic target for the core acupoint prescription. Subsequent protein-protein interaction (PPI) network and molecular complex detection (MCODE) analyses were conducted to identify the key targets and functional modules. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analyses explored the underlying biological mechanisms of the core acupoint prescription in treating PDD.
Results:
A total of 57 acupoint prescriptions underwent systematic analysis. The core therapeutic combinations comprised Baihui (GV20), Yintang (GV29), Neiguan (PC6), Hegu (LI4), and Shenmen (HT7). Network acupuncture analysis identified 88 potential therapeutic targets (79 overlapping with PDD), while PPI network analysis revealed central regulatory nodes, including interleukin (IL)-6, IL-1β, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), IL-10, brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1, C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10), mitogen-activated protein kinase 3 (MAPK3), and nitric oxide synthase 1 (NOS1). MCODE-based modular analysis further elucidated three functionally coherent clusters: inflammation-homeostasis (score = 6.571), plasticity-neurotransmission (score = 3.143), and oxidative stress (score = 3.000). GO and KEGG analyses demonstrated significant enrichment of the MAPK, phosphoinositide 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/Akt), and hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1 signaling pathways. These mechanistic insights suggested that the antidepressant effects mediated through mechanisms of neuroinflammatory regulation, neuroplasticity restoration, and immune-oxidative stress homeostasis.
Conclusion
This study reveals that acupuncture alleviates depression through a multi-level mechanism, primarily involving the neuroinflammation suppression, neuroplasticity enhancement, and oxidative stress regulation. These findings systematically clarify the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture’s antidepressant effects and identify novel therapeutic targets for further mechanistic research.

The development of private health insurance is crucial for the construction of a multi-tiered healthcare security.Since entering the innovative development stage, the types and protection contents of private health insurance products have been continuously enriched, but there are still some problems.Taking Shanghai as the research object,it describes the development status of private health insurance in Shanghai by analyzing relevant policies, premium income, and product types. It locates many problems such as product supply and industrial synergy, such as uneven product distribution, insufficient product differentiation, insufficient information disclosure, and the need to improve the risk management and control capabilities of insurance institutions. It also puts forward suggestions such as enriching product types, optimizing insurance content, strengthening multi-party collaboration, and establishing a long-term mechanism to promote the high-quality development of commercial health insurance.

Constructing a multi-tiered healthcare security system can meet the diverse and individualized healthcare service demand of the general public.Public hospitals,as the main providers of healthcare services in China, effectively integrate with commercial health insurance, which can accelerate the implementation of high-quality healthcare services, promote innovative development, and optimize product coverage and operational efficiency for commercial health insurance, achieving a win-win situation.Taking Shanghai as the research object,it analyzes the supply and demand status of multi-tiered healthcare security in Shanghai based on population characteristics, economic level, healthcare resources, and policy environment. It identifies the difficulties in the current collaboration between public hospitals and commercial insurance. Finally,it proposes exploring the expansion of independent development space for specialized services, improving the level of coordination between commercial insurance institutions and public hospitals in health management services, promoting the management and sharing of data, strengthening the protection of innovative medicines and devices by commercial insurance,in order to promote the coordinated development of commercial insurance and public hospitals.

Based on on-site research in Shanghai,it takes a supply-side perspective to examine the current status of cooperation between Private Health Insurance(PHI)and the pharmaceutical industry. It discusses the issues existing in the cooperation and proposes policy recommendations for their coordinated development. It identifies three main cooperation models and products, which are the public-private integrated product"Hui Min Bao",the special drug insurance led by insurance companies, and the disease insurance for patients led by pharmaceutical enterprises. However, these models commonly face challenges such as the limited policy support,a lack of standardized cooperation between the two sectors, insufficient information and data exchange, immature innovative payment models, and difficulties in the application of innovative drugs. It argues that the key to coordinated development lies in leveraging the strategic purchasing power of PHI,devising rational payment strategies and standards to achieve a win-win situation for insurers, enterprises, healthcare providers and patients. Therefore, policy recommendations are proposed from the perspectives of establishing mechanisms, breaking barriers, strategic procurement, and supporting measures.
