Objective:To explore the diagnostic value of blood flow parameters of carotid ultrasound combined with serum Sortilin and paraoxonase-1 (PON-1) for stability of carotid atherosclerotic plaque (CAP). Methods:A total of 100 CAP patients who admitted to Rugao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected, and they were divided into a stable plaque group (n=54) and a unstable plaque group (n=46). Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was adopted to determine the expression levels of serum Sortilin and PON-1 of patients in two groups. Multi factor logistic regression was implemented to analyze the influencing factors on CAP stability. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were drawn to analyze the diagnostic efficiency of blood flow parameters of carotid ultrasound combined with Sortilin and PON-1 on CAP stability. Results:Compared with the end diastolic blood flow velocity (EDV) and intima-media thickness (IMT) of stable plaque group, unstable plaque group showed increased EDV and IMT,and decreased PSV,and the differences were significant (t=7.536,4.680,5.487,P<0.05),respectively. Compared with stable plaque group, the serum Sortilin level in unstable plaque group significantly increased, while the PON-1 level significantly decreased, and the differences of them were significant (t=8.362,5.581,P<0.05),respectively. Multivariate logistic analysis found that Sortilin was a risk factor that affected CAP stability (OR=3.165,P<0.05),while PON-1 was a protective factor that affected CAP stability (OR=0.765,P<0.05). ROC curve analysis indicated that the area under curve (AUC) values of single Sortilin,PON-1,EDV,IMT,PSV,and the combination of them were respectively 0.788 (95%CI:0.695-0.864),0.814 (95%CI:0.724-0.885),0.847 (95% CI:0.761-0.911),0.767 (95% CI:0.672-0.846),0.707 (95% CI:0.607-0.793) and 0.963 (95% CI:0.839-0.907). The AUC value of the combination of above 5 indicators was highest, which was better than that of each single indicator, and its sensitivity and specificity were respectively 95.65% and 83.33%. Conclusion:The EDV,IMT and PSV of blood flow parameters of ultrasound can provide CAP information of morphology and hemodynamics, and serum Sortilin level and PON-1 level can reflect the biological processes of formation and development of CAP. The combined detection of the five indicators can better diagnose CAP stability.

In this paper, we propose a multi-scale mel domain feature map extraction algorithm to solve the problem that the speech recognition rate of dysarthria is difficult to improve. We used the empirical mode decomposition method to decompose speech signals and extracted Fbank features and their first-order differences for each of the three effective components to construct a new feature map, which could capture details in the frequency domain. Secondly, due to the problems of effective feature loss and high computational complexity in the training process of single channel neural network, we proposed a speech recognition network model in this paper. Finally, training and decoding were performed on the public UA-Speech dataset. The experimental results showed that the accuracy of the speech recognition model of this method reached 92.77%. Therefore, the algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively improve the speech recognition rate of dysarthria.

Lung cancer is currently the malignant tumor with the highest morbidity and mortality in the world, and the main type is non-small cell lung cancer. Immune checkpoint inhibitor is a landmark discovery in the history of cancer treatment, which rewrites the history of cancer treatment, and improves the medical treatment of advanced tumors by a big step forward. The article summarizes the research progress of therapeutic drugs against anti-programmed cell death protein and programmed cell death protein ligand antibodies in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. The principle of drug action, the differences in the diagnosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer in different clinical stages, and future research directions are discussed to provide the usage guidelines of immune checkpoint inhibitors for clinical oncologists.

ObjectiveTo evaluate CT and MRI findings of the intrathoracic ganglioneuroma and to improve its diagnosis and differential diagnosis ability.MethodsClinical,CT( n = 14),MRI (n = 6) and pathology manifestations of 20 patients with the intrathoracic ganglioneuroma were retrospectively analyzed. All 20 cases had chest CT and MRI plain scanning and multiphase enhance scanning before operation.ResultsSeventeen of 20 lesions were located in posterior mediastinum,2 in pleura side and 1 in right thorax cavity. The CT value of the plain scans ranged from 20 to 40 HU ( mean 30.5 HU),Tubercle calcification were detected in four masses, one case with fat density was showed on CT scanning. After injecting contrast media,CT value ranged from 0 to 12 HU (mean 6.2 HU) in artery phase, ranging from 10 to 20 HU ( mean 14.3 HU) in delay phase.Five of 6 cases of MRI signals were homogeneously low intensity on T1 WI,1 case with fat signal was imhomogeneously low intensity on T1WI.Six cases were imhomogeneously high intensity on T2WI.A whorled appearance was visualized in one tumor on T2WI.The post-contrast enhancement MR images was slight enhancement imhomogeneously in artery phase and gradual increasing enhancement in delay phase.ConclusionOn CT and MR imaging,no enhancement or slight enhancement in artery phase and gradual increasing enhancement in delay phase are characteristic manifestations of ganglioneuroma in the thorax.

Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Medical Sciences) 2005;25(1):59-61
The nano-magnetic ferrofluid was prepared by chemical coprecipitation and its acute toxicology was investigated. The effective diameter (Eff. Diam. ) of the magnetic particles was about 19.9 nm, and the concentration of the ferrofluid was 17.54 mg/ml. The acute toxic reaction and the main viscera pathological morphology of mice were evaluated after oral, intravenous and intraperitoneal administration of the nano-magnetic ferrofluid of different doses respectively. Half lethal dose ( LD50 ) > 2104.8 mg/kg, maximum non-effect dose (ED0) = 320. 10mg/kg with oral; LD50 >438.50 mg/kg, ED0 = 160.05 mg/kg with intravenous route; and LD50>1578.6 mg/kg, ED0 =320.10 mg/kg with intraperitoneal administration. Degeneration and necrosis of viscera were not found. So the nano-magnetic ferrofluid, ofwhich toxicity is very low, may be used as a drug carri-er.
