Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(9):1315-1318
Objective:
To provide data support for AIDS prevention and control by investigating HIV testing among technician school students in Guangzhou.
Methods:
A total of 1 112 students were investigated with a questionnaire about AIDS knowledge, attitude, sexual behavior and HIV testing through a stratified cluster random sampling method in October 2018. A Logistic regression analysis was conducted for influencing factors of students’ HIV testing.
Results:
The HIV testing rate of technician school student was 10.3%. The HIV testing rate (12.1%-24.3%) of male, under 18 years of age, with monthly living expenses over 3 000 yuan and with poor family atmosphere was higher than that of the corresponding group (6.6%-8.4%), the difference were statistically significant (χ2=12.07,7.25,10.73,9.77, P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that <18 years of age, willingness to participate in relevant AIDS prevention activities, homosexuality, “support for multiple sexual partners” and having sexual behavior were associated with more HIV testing(P<0.05).
Conclusion
The incidence of sexual behavior of students in technician school is high while the rate of HIV testing is low, especially for male and male homosexuals. The health and education departments should strengthen students’ AIDS counseling and testing services and raise students’ awareness of AIDS risk in order to improve the coverage of students’ HIV testing.

The purpose of our study is to evaluate the diagnostic performance of radiomics in multi-class discrimination of lymphadenopathy based on elastography and B-mode dual-modal ultrasound images. We retrospectively analyzed a total of 251 lymph nodes (89 benign lymph nodes, 70 lymphoma and 92 metastatic lymph nodes) from 248 patients, which were examined by both elastography and B-mode sonography. Firstly, radiomic features were extracted from multimodal ultrasound images, including shape features, intensity statistics features and gray-level co-occurrence matrix texture features. Secondly, three feature selection methods based on information theory were used on the radiomic features to select different subsets of radiomic features, consisting of conditional infomax feature extraction, conditional mutual information maximization, and double input symmetric relevance. Thirdly, the support vector machine classifier was performed for diagnosis of lymphadenopathy on each radiomic subsets. Finally, we fused the results from different modalities and different radiomic feature subsets with Adaboost to improve the performance of lymph node classification. The results showed that the accuracy and overall 1 score with five-fold cross-validation were 76.09%±1.41% and 75.88%±4.32%, respectively. Moreover, when considering on benign lymph nodes, lymphoma or metastatic lymph nodes respectively, the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of multi-class classification were 0.77, 0.93 and 0.84, respectively. This study indicates that radiomic features derived from multimodal ultrasound images are benefit for diagnosis of lymphadenopathy. It is expected to be useful in clinical differentiation of lymph node diseases.

Harpagoside (HAR) is believed to be a main compound in Scrophularia ningpoensis which possess a broad of biological activities.Human serum albumin (HSA) has important physiological roles in transportation, distribution and metabolism of many endogenous and exogenous substances in body.It is great significance in pharmacology to investigate the interaction mechanism of HAR and HSA.In this work, the interaction between HAR and HSA was investigated by fluorescence and ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy at different pH (pH=4.0, 7.4, and 9.0) and temperatures (297, 310 and 323 K).The experimental results showed that the HAR could cause the fluorescence quenching of HSA through a static quenching procedure, showing that the HAR regularly quenched the intrinsic fluorescence of HSA, and a decrease in the quenching constant was observed with an increase in temperature.Under different conditions, all the magnitude of binding constants (KA) was larger than 105 L/mol and the number of binding sites (n) in the binary system were approximate to 1.Base on the magnitude of enthalpy and entropy changes, the negative values of ΔG, ΔH and ΔS revealed that the binding of HAR with HSA was spontaneous and exothermic process, and the main interaction forces of the HAR with HAR were van der Waals forces and/or hydrogen bonding interaction. The binding distance (r) between the HAR and HSA was calculated to be about 4.2 nm based on the theory of F(o)rster′s nonradiation energy transfer, which indicated that the energy transfer from HSA to HAR occurred with high possibility. What was more, the synchronous florescence spectroscopy confirmed the conformational changes of HSA during the binding reaction.

Objective To evaluate the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic left hepatectomy in patients with primary hepatic carcinoma. Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted in clinical data of left hepatectomy from 2007 to 2014,including 47 cases of laparoscopic hepatectomy and 46 cases of open hepatectomy. The intraoperative and postoperative data of the two surgical methods were compared to evalu-ate whether laparoscopic left hepatectomy is safe and feasible. Results The tumor size were bigger in the open hepatectomy [(56. 57 ± 24. 56) mm vs. (64. 11 ± 33. 39) mm,P=0. 218]. The laparoscopic left hepatectomy resulted in shorter operation time [(217. 53 ± 60. 22) min vs.(306.80±119.91)min],andtherewasasignificantlydifference(P<0.05).Theintraoperativebloodlosswerelesserinthelaparo-scopic left hepatectomy [(350. 21 ± 197. 98) mL vs. (556. 74 ± 471. 41) mL],and there was a significantly difference (P<0. 05). The lap-aroscopic left hepatectomy had a smaller intraoperative blood transfusion rate (12. 8% vs. 32. 6%,P<0. 05). The length of ICU stay, time for gastroentestinal function recovery, postopetative hospital stay were shorter than those of open left hepatectomy (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference of postoperative complication rate between them (14. 9% vs. 23. 9%,P=0. 271). The survival rates of 1-and 3-year after operation in patients with laparoscopic left hepatectomy were 91. 5% and 83. 0% respectively, while 84. 8% and 76. 1% in patients un-derwent open hepatectomy. The tumor-free survival rates 1-and 3-year after operation were 74. 5% and 59. 6% in patients with laparoscopic left hepatectomy respectively, while 65. 2% and 54. 3% in patients underwent open hepatectomy. Conclusion Laparoscopic left hepatectomy for primary hepatic carcinoma is safe and feasible. Laparoscopic left hepatectomy could be a consideration as the standard surgical methods for hepatic carcinoma.
