OBJECTIVE: To review the research progress on the lower limb biomechanical characteristics of patients with discoid lateral meniscus (DLM) injury after surgery. METHODS: By searching relevant domestic and international research literature on DLM, the postoperative characteristics of knee joint movement biomechanics, tibiofemoral joint stress distribution, lower extremity force line, and patellofemoral joint changes in patients with DLM injury were summarized. RESULTS: Surgical treatment can lead to varying degrees of changes in the lower limb biomechanical characteristics of patients with DLM injury. Specifically, the kinematic biomechanics of the knee joint can significantly improve, but there are still problems such as extension deficits in the affected knee joint. The peak stress of the tibiofemoral joint decreases with the increase of the residual meniscus volume, and the degree of change is closely related to the residual meniscus volume. Preserving a larger volume of the meniscus, especially the anterior horn volume, helps to reduce stress concentration. The lower extremity force line will deviate outward after surgery, and the more meniscus is removed during surgery, the greater the change in the lower extremity force line after surgery. There are conditions such as cartilage degeneration, position and angle changes in the patellofemoral joint after surgery. CONCLUSION The changes in the lower limb biomechanical characteristics after DLM injury are closely related to the choice of surgical methods and rehabilitation programs. However, the mechanisms of biomechanical changes in multiple lower limb joints and individual differences still need to be further studied and clarified.

During long-duration space missions,astronauts face health challenges such as bone density loss,muscle atrophy,cardiovascular dysfunction,immune function suppression caused by microgravity,as well as mental health issues in a confined environment.There is an urgent need for real-time,continuous,and multi-dimensional health monitoring technologies to safeguard the health and safety of astronauts.This paper systematically reviews the technical requirements and current development status of astronaut on-orbit health monitoring,with a focus on analyzing breakthroughs in technologies such as dynamic electrocardiography,non-invasive blood pressure assessment,flexible electronic skin,and molecular probe spectroscopy.It also elaborates on how the integration of artificial intelligence and bionics technologies is propelling the monitoring system towards intelligence and autonomy,providing a reference for the medical support of astronauts during long-duration spaceflight missions.

Objective To study the relationship between sleep quality and coping styles of officers and soldiers during long voyage,so as to provide reference for follow-up psychological service support.Methods A total of 196 people during the mission of escort fleet were selected by random cluster sampling.The sleep quality was assessed by the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI).The Simple Coping Style Scale(SCSQ)was used to analyze the coping styles.The correlations between sleep quality,time to fall asleep,and coping styles were investigated.Results After 16 weeks of escort mission,the detection rate of sleep disorders was 50.57%,and the total score of PSQI was 8.51±2.34,which was significantly different from that before the mission(6.65±3.21)(P<0.05).The total score of PSQI,sleep time,sleep efficiency and daytime dysfunction were significantly negatively correlated with positive coping style,while time to fall asleep and sleep disorders were significantly positively correlated with negative coping style.Conclusion The sleep quality of subjects decreases significantly during the escort mission,and relevant interventions are needed.Positive coping styles are negatively correlated with sleep problems.Psychological intervention should be strengthened to guide officers and soldiers to select appropriate positive coping styles.

Objective To investigate the risk factors of cerebral microbleeds (CMBs) in patients with acute isch?emic stroke of large-artery atherosclerosis. Methods One hundred twelve patients with acute ischemic stroke of large-ar?tery atherosclerosis admitted from July 2013 to January 2014 in Nanjing First Hospital affiliated to Nanjing Medical Uni?versity were enrolled. According to the results of MRI magnetic sensitive weighted imaging, the patients were divided into CMBs group or non-CMBs group. The history, general clinical data, serum biochemical results and MRI in both groups were enrolled. All the data were analyzed by the univariate and multivariate analysis. Results The results of univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age (61.620±11.479 vs. 70.620±11.185), serum uric acid (UA) level (278.920±69.512 vs. 353.460±111.206), serum creatinine (Cr) level (71.360±19.797 vs. 90.450±44.989), serum ho?mocysteine (Hcy) level (12.587±2.664 vs. 21.715±10.437) between the two groups (P<0.05). There were significant differ?ences in constituent ratio of Fazekas' s grade of periventricular hyperintensities and deep white matter hyperintensities between the two groups (P<0.05). The results of multivariate analysis showed that age (OR=0.963, 95%CI:0.905~1.025, P<0.05) and serum Hcy level (OR=1.487, 95%CI:1.219~1.813, P<0.05) were the independent risk factors for CMBs in patients with acute ischemic stroke of large-artery atherosclerosis. Conclusions Age and serum Hcy level are the inde?pendent risk factors for CMBs in patients with acute ischemic stroke of large-artery atherosclerosis.

Objective To make a comparative assessment on both the therapeutic effects and side effects between percutaenous lauromacrogol injection therapy(PLIT) and percutaenous ethanol injection therapy(PEIT) for simple hepatic or renal cyst.Methods In group A,55 patients with simple hepatic or renal cysts underwent ultrasound-guided aspiration and successive PLIT.The intra-operative side effects were investigated and the therapeutic effects assessment by using ultrasonography was conducted 3 months after the treatment.In group B,60 patients with simple hepatic or renal cysts had received ultrasound-guided aspiration and PEIT sometime before.The intra-operative side effects and therapeutic effects on the thirdmonth ultrasonography were independently reviewed according to their case records.Results In group A,3 patients(5.5 ％) expressed slight discomfort but not pain while receiving lauromacrogol injection.Follow-up ultrasound examination at the end of third month demonstrated the cysts in 43 patients completely regressed,while cysts in rest 12 patients shrank over 50 ％ in size,showing the overall response rate(ORR) and completely cure rate(CCR) were 100％ (55/55) and 78.2％ (43/55) for PLIT respectively.In group B,12 patients(20％) suffered from slight to moderate irritating pain or drunk performance.The third-month ultrasound examination disclosed that cysts in 47 patients completely vanished,and cysts in the other 13patients shrank more than a half,indicating the ORR and CCR were 100％ (60/60) and 78.3 ％ (47/60) for PEIT respectively.Conclusions Although their therapeutic efficacy are perfectly similar,PLIT is much more superior to PEIT in term of less and minor side effects.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of bladder-preserving local resection combined with intra-artery chemotherapy for patients with T1G3 bladder cancer.Methods Thirty five cases with T1G3 bladder cancer were analyzed retrospectively. Patients were all treated by bladder-preserving local resection combined with intra-artery chemotherapy. Results Thirty five cases were followed up. The time of follow-up ranged from 7 to 116 months,and mean time was(66.0±18.3)months.The 5 year recurrence and bladder-preserving rate were 48.6 ％(17/35)and 68.6 ％(24/35),respectively.The overall and tumor specific survival at 5 years was 77.1％ (27/35)and 82.9 ％ (29/35).The effect of bladder-preserving local resection plus intra-artery chemotherapy was satisfactory. Moreover, intra-artery chemotherapy had no obvious side effects.Conclusion Bladder-preserving local resection combined with intra-artery chemotherapy not only can retain normal bladder function, decrease in the recurrence, but also does not reduce the survival rate. It is an effective treatment for some patients with T1G3 bladder cancer instead of cystectomy over-treatment.

Objective To investigate the value of low-pressure laparoscopic technique for appendicitis surgery during early and mid-term pregnancy.Methods The clinical data of 13 pregnant women underwent low-pressure laparoscopic appendectomy from July 2007 to December 2010 were analyzed retrospectively.Results All the 13 cases were performed laparoscopic appendectomy successfully without laparotomy and cured completely before discharged from hospital No intestinal fistula,wound infection,abortion and other complications occurred.During follow-up,9 cases of full-term pregnancy patients gave birth to healthy babies,and there was no abortion and premature delivery on 4 patients still in their pregnancy.Conclusion For women at early or mid-term pregnancy with acute appendicitis,low-pressure laparoscopic appendectomy could reduce the stimulus of surgical operation on uterus and decrease the risk of abortion.

Objective To explore the relationship between schizotypal personality proneness and intelligence .Methods 1905 subjects were tested by Chinese Soldier Personality Questionnaire(CSPQ).According to the results of CSPQ,the subjects were divided into high-risk subjects and normal ones.The Words Reasoning Test, the Arithmetic Reasoning Test and the Assembling Test were used to evaluate the intelligence,and the scores of these tests were compared between the two groups.Correlation coefficient between schizotypal personality proneness and intelligence was calculated.Results The scores of the Words Reasoning Test,the Arithmetic Reasoning Test and the Assembling Test in high-risk subjects were significantly lower than those in normal ones((87.83±18.42)VS(101.37±13.48),P<0.01;(91.74±14.26)vs(101.65±14.62),P<0.01;(87.70±18.82)VS (101.73±14.26),P<0.01).Schizotypal personality proneness was significantly correlated with the scores of intelligence(r=-0.39,P<0.01).Conclusion Lower intelligence level is found in the group with schizotypal personality proneness.Intelligence is correlated with schizotypal personality proneness.
