Objective:To investigate the predictive value of preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging for postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients with stage Ⅰ solid and subsolid non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods:This retrospective analysis included 139 patients (71 males, 68 females; age (62.1±9.0) years) with ⅠA1-ⅠB stage solid and subsolid NSCLC who underwent surgery and preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging at the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from December 2020 to December 2022. Patients were randomly divided into a training group and a validation group in a ratio of 7∶3, and SUV max, metabolic tumor volume (MTV), total lesion glycolysis (TLG), clinical data, and disease-free survival (DFS) were collected. ROC curves were generated for the training group to determine the optimal cut-off values of SUV max, MTV, and TLG for predicting recurrence and metastasis. The Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to identify factors predicting DFS and to establish a prediction model, which was then validated in the validation group. The prognostic efficacy of the model was evaluated by using the concordance index (C-index). Results:Of 139 patients, 97 were in the training group and 42 were in the validation group, with 23 experienced recurrences during the follow-up period, including 18 in the training group and 5 in the validation group. The optimal cut-off values of SUV max, MTV and TLG for predicting tumor recurrence and metastasis in the training group were 5.85, 5.55cm 3, and 12.55g, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that SUV max (hazard ratio ( HR)=4.83, 95% CI: 1.81-12.89, P=0.002), MTV ( HR=6.90, 95% CI: 2.27-20.98, P<0.001), and TLG ( HR=5.77, 95% CI: 1.90-17.57, P=0.002) were predictive factors for postoperative recurrence and metastasis, while multivariate analysis identified MTV ( HR=4.67, 95% CI: 1.42-15.36, P=0.011) as an independent predictive factor. The prognostic C-index (95% CI) of models in training group and validation group were 0.814(0.745-0.882) and 0.810(0.624-0.995). Conclusions:Preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT imaging has significant predictive value for postoperative recurrence and metastasis risk in patients with stage Ⅰ solid and subsolid NSCLC. MTV can be considered as an independent prognostic factor for preoperative recurrence and metastasis.

OBJECTIVE:
To explore the feasibility and early effectiveness of computer-simulated osteotomy based on the health-side combined with guide plate technique in the treatment of cubitus varus deformity in adolescents.
METHODS:
The clinical data of 23 patients with cubitus varus deformity who met the selection criteria between June 2019 and February 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. There were 17 males and 6 females, ranging in age from 4 to 16 years with an average of 8.5 years. The time from injury to operation was 1-4 years. The angle of distal humerus rotation was defined by humeral head posterior inclination angle using low radiation dose CT to scan the patient's upper extremity data at one time, and the preoperative rotation of the distal humerus on the affected side was (33.82±4.39)°. The CT plain scan data were imported into 9yuan3D digital orthopaedic system (V3.34 software) to reconstruct three-dimensional images of both upper extremities. The simulated operation was performed with the healthy upper extremity as the reference, the best osteotomy scheme was planned, overlapped and compared, and the osteotomy guide plate was prepared. The patients were followed up regularly after operation, and the formation of callus in the osteotomy area was observed by X-ray examination. Before and after operation, the carrying angle of both upper extremities (the angle of cubitus valgus was positive, and the angle of cubitus varus was negative) and anteversion angle were measured on X-ray and CT images. At the same time, the flexion and extension range of motion of elbow joint and the external rotation range of motion of upper extremity were measured, and Mayo score was used to evaluate the function of elbow joint.
RESULTS:
The operation time ranged from 34 to 46 minutes, with an average of 39 minutes. All patients were followed up 5-26 months, with a mean of 14.9 months. All the incisions healed by first intention after the operation; 2 patients had nail path irritation symptoms after Kirschner wire fixation, which improved after dressing change; no complication such as breakage and loosening of internal fixators occurred after regular X-ray review. Continuous callus formed at the osteotomy end at 4 weeks after operation, and the osteotomy end healed at 8-12 weeks after operation. At last follow-up, the carrying angle, anteversion angle, external rotation range of motion, and extension and flexion range of motion of the elbow joint of the affected side significantly improved when compared with preoperative ones ( P<0.05). Except for the extension range of motion of the healthy elbow joint ( P<0.05), there was no significant difference in other indicators between the two sides ( P>0.05). At last follow-up, the Mayo elbow score was 85-100, with an average of 99.3; 22 cases were excellent, 1 case was good, and the excellent and good rate was 100%.
CONCLUSION
Computer-simulated osteotomy based on health-side combined with guide plate technique for treating cubitus varus deformity in adolescents can achieve precise osteotomy, which has the advantages of short operation time and easy operation, and the short-term effectiveness is satisfactory.

Journal of Gastric Cancer 2022;22(3):220-234
Purpose:
The incidence of adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG) has increased in recent years, and the optimal surgical strategy for AEG remains highly controversial. We aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of proximal gastrectomy with double-tract reconstruction (PG-DT) for the treatment of patients with AEG.
Materials and Methods:
We retrospectively analyzed patients with Siewert type II/III AEG between January 2013 and July 2018. Clinicopathological characteristics, survival, surgical outcomes, quality of life (QOL), and nutritional status were compared between the PG-DT and total gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y anastomosis (TG-RY) groups.
Results:
After propensity score matching, 33 patients in each group were analyzed. There were no statistical differences between the 2 groups in terms of disease-free survival and overall survival. The surgical option was not an independent prognostic factor based on the multivariate analysis. In addition, no differences were found in terms of surgical complications. There were no significant differences in QOL assessed by the Visick grade, Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale, or endoscopic findings. Furthermore, the long-term nutritional advantage of the PG-DT group was significantly greater than that of the TG-RY group.
Conclusions
PG-DT is a safe and effective procedure for patients with local Siewert type II/III AEG, regardless of the TNM stage.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2022;43(3):452-454
Objective:
To investigate the current situation and related factors of facial trauma in school age children in urban areas of Fuyang, and to provide basis for child facial trauma prevention.
Methods:
By cluster stratified random sampling method, a questionnaire survey was conducted among parents of school age children aged 3-6 in four kindergartens in Fuyang City. A total of 1 062 valid questionnaires were included.
Results:
A total of 146 (13.7%) children with facial trauma were included. The ratio of boys to girls was 1.84∶1.In primary and secondary classes in kindergarten, the reporting rate of boys (24.5%,16.4%) was higher than that of girls (13.4%, 9.0%), and the difference was statistically significant ( χ 2=6.66, 4.25, P <0.05).The incidence of facial trauma was highest (19.4%) in junior kindergarten class children, which decreased with age. Falls injury(61.6%) was the leading cause of facial trauma. Most of facial trauma occurred in family (55.5%) and kindergarten (26.0%). Forehead (26.0%) and mandible (21.2%) were the main injured body sites. Skin laceration (81.5%) was the main type of injury. Facial trauma mostly occurred at 11:00-13:00(19.9%) and 17:00-19:00(27.4%), during June to August (39.7%). The results of univariate analysis showed that the facial trauma of preschool children was associated with gender, class, parentrated child temperament, parental education and family type( χ 2=14.51,18.84,39.66,6.56,12.31, P <0.05).
Conclusion
Facial trauma in preschool children in Fuyang is common, which varies in gender, class, temperament and family type.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2022;35(6):633-636
【Objective】 To analyze the comprehensive factors causing adverse reactions to apheresis platelet donation(ARAPD), so as to provide references for effective prevention of ARAPD. 【Methods】 The 272 cases of ARAPD from 2012 to 2019 in Lanzhou were statistically analyzed, and factors that induced ARAPD were studied. Statistical analysis were performed according to the gender, nationality, occupation, age, weight, donation units, and number of donations. 【Results】 As to the factors inducing ARAPD, anticoagulant reactions accounted for the first(32.4%, 88/272). Women and students were prone to develop ARAPD. Among all age groups, 18~25 years old were most likely to develop ARAPD(53.68%, 10 572/35 265). The incidence of ARAPD were significantly different by ages and weights(P<0.05), and donors with lighter weight were more prone to develop ARAPD(P<0.05). The incidence of ARAPD were also significantly different between first-time and repeated donors(P<0.05), but not among the donation units. 【Conclusion】 The anticoagulant reactions are the leading reason for ARAPD. For female, student, young, light-weight, and first-time blood donors, special attention should be paid and corresponding interventions taken to them.

Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2022;35(3):300-303
【Objective】 To study the current situation of apheresis platelets collection in various regions of Gansu province by comparing and analyzing relevant data from blood stations in 14 prefecture-level cities of Gansu province. 【Methods】 The units of collected platelets and rate of double-dose collection in 13 regional blood stations and 1 provincial blood center from 2016 to 2020, as well as the clinical supply and demand was statistically analyzed. 【Results】 From 2016 to 2020, the total units of platelets collected by 13 blood stations and 1 blood center in Gansu increased from 11 255 U to 15 270 U, with the increase rate at 35.7% in 5 years, and mainly were collected by the provincial blood center (74.57%, 50 253/ 67 392). Although the rate of double-dose collection in the province showed a steady upward trend, only 3 blood stations realized annual double-dose collection more than 20%. There was still a gap of about 10% between supply and clinical needs. 【Conclusion】 Although the number of platelet collections and units in each blood station in Gansu is on the rise in general, the units collected varies in each blood station. Therefore, further measures need to be taken from the aspects of publicity, recruitment, optimizing the collection process, improving the rate of double-dose collection, retention of regular blood donors and regional coordination to increase the collection units, narrow down the regional gap and ensure the balance between supply and demand.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2021;20(7):760-766
Objective:To compare the efficacy between acupuncture and acupuncture with infrared thermography-guided Chinese massage (Tuina) in treatment of children with Bell′s palsy (BP).Methods:Seventy two children with BP admitted to the Rehabilitation Department of Beijing Children′s Hospital from October 2019 to April 2020 were randomly assigned into two groups: 35 cases were treated with acupuncture alone (acupuncture group) and 37 cases received acupuncture combined with Tuina for treatment (combination group). In combination group, the temperature of forehead, cheek and mandible areas was examined by infrared thermography before each course. Compared healthy side if the temperature on the affected side was lower, higher or the same, rubbing method, tapping method and one-finger meditation push method of Tuina was applied, afterwards the acupuncture treatment was given as in the acupuncture group. Patients in both groups were treated once a day with 5 days for a course and a total of 3 courses. The patients were assessed with House-Brackmann (H-B) facial nerve function evaluation scale and Portmann simple score scale before and after each course of treatment. Results:The H-B classification of the two groups of children at the end of the third course of treatment was significantly better than that before treatment (χ2=31.01, 56.41; P<0.01). There was no significant difference in H-B grading between the two groups before treatment, after the first and second course (χ2=0.58, 8.49, 6.79; P>0.05). After the third course of treatment, the H-B grading assessment of the combination group was significant better than that of the acupuncture group (χ2=10.03, P<0.05). The Portmann scores of the two groups were improved after each course of treatment ( F=9.68, 22.54; P<0.01); however, the facial nerve function of combination group was improved more significantly than that of acupuncture group [(13.97±4.58) vs.(10.97±5.40), t=2.55, P=0.01]. The total effective rate of combination group was higher than that of acupuncture group [51.35% (19/37) vs. 20.00% (7/35), χ2=6.79, P<0.05]. There was a significant difference in the application frequency of three Tuina methods among the forehead, cheek and mandibular areas in the first course and the third course (χ2=21.23, 13.33; P<0.05). In the same area (forehead, cheek and mandible) there was a significant difference in the application frequency of three massage techniques among the three courses of treatment (χ2=31.26, 21.35, P<0.01). Conclusion:With the guidance of infrared thermal imaging, individualized Chinese massage (Tuina) combined with acupuncture treatment is more effective in treatment of children with Bell′s palsy than using acupuncture alone.
