Chest trauma is one of the most common injuries. Venous thromboembolism (VTE) as a common complication of chest trauma seriously affects the quality of patients′ life and even leads to death. Although there are some consensus and guidelines on the prevention and treatment of VTE at home and abroad, the current literatures lack specificity considering the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of VTE in patients with chest trauma have their own characteristics, especially for those with blunt trauma. Accordingly, China Chest Injury Research Society and editorial board of Chinese Journal of Traumatology organized relevant domestic experts to jointly formulate the Chinese expert consensus on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of chest trauma venous thromboembolism associated with chest trauma (2022 version). This consensus provides expert recommendations of different levels as academic guidance in terms of the characteristics, clinical manifestations, risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of chest trauma-related VTE, so as to offer a reference for clinical application.

Objective To explore the correlation of thyroid hormone level, blood glucose level, blood lipid level and blood uric acid in patients with hyperthyroidism. Methods Totally 87patients with hyperthyroidism who were treated in our hospital from June 2015to December 2017were selected as the observation group, the other 69healthy people in the same period were selected as the control group. The fasting blood glucose (FBG), total cholesterol (TC), three glycerol (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), free three triiodothyronine (FT3), free thyroxine (FT4), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and blood uric acid level were compared, and the correlation among the above indicators were analyzed. Results The levels of FBG, FT3, FT4and blood uric acid before treatment in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the levels of TSH, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of FBG, FT3, FT4and blood uric acid were significantly decreased in the observation group, while the levels of TSH, TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C increased significantly, the differences were statistically significant between before and after treatment (P<0.05).The levels of FT3and FT4were positively correlated with blood uric acid and FBG level in hyperthyroidism patients, and negatively correlated with the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C.The level of TSH was positively correlated with the levels of TC, TG, HDL-C and LDL-C, and had a negative correlation with the levels of FBG and blood uric acid. Conclusion The thyroid hormone level is closely related to lipid and glucose metabolism and blood uric acid level in hyperthyroidism patients. When the thyroid hormone is corrected, the blood glucose and blood lipid indexes turn to normal. It suggests that the clinical treatment of hyperthyroidism should be taken as the main means to correct the abnormal thyroid hormone.

P-glycoprotein(P-gp)is an important efflux protein of ATP-binding cassette transporter superfamily. Cells could be protected from detrimental xenobiotics by the up-regulation of efflux pumps. In this review, an extensive literature search for P-gp induction research was conducted, and a focus was brought onto the P-gp induction models, experiment methods and its applications in drug discovery. We mainly introduced the in vitro cell-based models and in vivo rodent animal models for induction research, methods that investigate induction potency by detecting the protein, gene expression and efflux function,as well as co-regulation between P-gp and other transporters or drug metabolism enzymes.P-gp induction can serve as a clinical therapeutic strategy by reducing the intracellular concentration of deleterious xenobiotics significantly, and the in silico P-gp induction pharmacophore model was also discussed. This review could be of great importance for pre-clinical drug design, the screening of new synthesized compounds and the prediction of potential clinical drug-drug interactions.

Objective Comparison of therapeutic effects among acupuncture and Western Medicine for functional constipation. Methods A total of 90 patients with functional constipation were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. The treatment group were treated with acupuncture. The control group were treated with the Lactulose. The treatment last three weeks. The Bristol stool form scale (BSFS) and symptom scoring system for constipation (KESS) were assessed before and after the treatment. The clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the BSFS (2.7 ± 0.7 vs.2.2 ± 0.8,t=3.684) in the acupuncture group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05).The scores of KESS (15.5 ± 3.6 vs.18.5 ± 4.6,t=-3.509) in the acupuncture group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7% (39/45),which was better than 66.7% (30/45) in the control group (x2=5.031,P<0.05).Conclusions Acupuncture of source connecting points of Lung meridian and Baliao-points can significantly improve constipation symptoms. The therapeutic effects are better than the western medication.

Objective To investigate the antitumor effect of specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes induced by renal cell carcinoma multiple antigen peptide dendritic cell (DC) vaccine in vitro. Methods Dendritic cells were induced by hGM-CSF,hIL-4 from blood.Peptide of renal cell carcinoma cell line (RCC786-0)was got by citrate-phosphate buffer elution.Peripheral blood mononuclear cell was cultured.Multiple antigen peptide DC cell vaccine was obtained by acid-eluted peptide pulsed DC.The tumor antigen specific CTL was generated from activated T cell by vaccine.Killing activity of the tumor antigen specific CTL was activated by vaccine. Results Antigen peptide DC cell vaccine could show a strong cytotoxic activity of CTLs(31.93±5.05%),which was much higher than control groups(5.88±2.26%,8.03±6.70%,9.70±2.09%,9.35±3.58%). Conclusion Renal cell carcinoma antigen peptide DC vaccine could show a high antitumor effect in vitro.

Objective To investigate the effects of ovariectomy and cholesterol rich diet on the change of estrogen receptor content of vascular endothelial cells and hearts of female rats. Methods The receptor binding assay (RBA) was adopted to measure the content of estrogen receptors, and the serum levels of estradiol and lipids were measured. Results The content of ER was much lower in hearts and VEC of ovariectomy〔(0.51?0.09) fmol/mg pro,(6.73 ? 0.52) fmol/106 cell〕and cholesterol rich rats〔(0.97?0.12) fmol/mg pro,(9.15 ?0.53) fmol/106 cell〕than pseudo-operation rats 〔(2.08?0.15) fmol/mg pro ,(17.66?1.26) fmol/106 cell , P
