Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumours with the highest morbidity and mortality rates worldwide today, posing a major threat to human health. Accurate diagnosis and standardised treatment play a crucial role in improving the survival rate of lung cancer patients. In recent years, the rapid rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought about significant changes in the medical field, providing a new diagnostic and treatment model for lung cancer, and making a series of breakthroughs in lung cancer diagnostic imaging, pathological diagnosis, surgical oncology, radiotherapy, and drug development and treatment. This article introduces the current status of AI application in the field of lung cancer diagnosis and treatment, and extensively discusses the current challenges and future prospects, hoping to provide references and suggestions for future clinical practice.

Objective:To explore the classification of bilobar anterolateral thigh perforator flaps assisted by color Doppler ultrasonography and its impact on their donor sites.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted of the data of 67 patients with large soft tissue defects who had been repaired with anterolateral thigh perforator flaps at Department of Orthopaedics, The Hospital Affiliated to The Second Medical University of Shandong, Department of Orthopaedics, The 80th Group Army Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and Department of Orthopaedics, Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to their flaps used: a unilobar group and a bilobar group. In the unilobar group, 36 cases [25 males and 11 females with an age of (40.3±8.3) years] were repaired with a unilobar anterolateral thigh perforator flap from March 2015 to April 2019. In the bilobar group, 31 cases [22 males and 9 females with an age of (38.9±7.4) years] were repaired with a bilobar anterolateral thigh perforator flap from May 2019 to August 2023. Color Doppler ultrasonography was used to classify the bilobar flaps into 4 types according to the different distributions of perforating vessels: common trunk type, separate trunks type, fascia dependent type, and composite mixed type. The number of perforating vessels and type of perforator flap found by preoperative color Doppler ultrasound were compared with the intraoperative findings in the bilobar group. One year after operation, recovery rate of donor muscle strength, rate of skin paresthesia, scar length at the donor site, the widest scar width and motor function were compared between the 2 groups.Results:The number of perforating vessels and type of perforator flap found by preoperative color Doppler ultrasound were consistent with the intraoperative findings ( P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the preoperative general data between the 2 groups, indicating comparability ( P>0.05). One year after operation in the bilobar group, the recovery rate of donor muscle strength was 96.8% (30/31), significantly higher than that in the unilobar group [77.8% (28/36)], the rate of skin paresthesia 6.5% (2/31), significantly lower than that in the unilobar group [27.8% (10/36)], the scar length at the donor site (22.18±5.02) cm, significantly longer than that in unilobar group [(17.35±3.11) cm], the widest scar width (7.26±1.58) mm, significantly narrower than that in the unilobar group [(43.72±9.81) mm], and the scores of Vancouver Scar Assessment Scale and Fugl-Meyer lower limb motor function scale were (1.95±0.57) points and (8.39±2.17) points, respectively, significantly lower than those in the unilobar group [(6.38±1.72) points and (14.02±3.54) points] ( P<0.05). Conclusions:Preoperative classification of bilobar anterolateral thigh perforator flaps assisted by color Doppler ultrasonography may provide guidance for flap harvesting and lobe layout of the flap. Compared to traditional unilobar flaps, bilobar ones may minimize tissue damage at a donor site.

Objective To investigate the effect and potential mechanisms of α-cyperone(CYP)on Crohn's disease(CD)-like colitis induced by 2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS)in mice.Methods The mice were randomly and evenly divided into wild type(WT),TNBS,CYP and 5-aminosalicylic acid(5-ASA)groups,with 10 mice in each group.The symptoms of enteritis,the function and structure of the intestinal barrier,and the expression levels of inflammatory factors,including interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-1β(IL-1β),and gamma-interferon(IFN-γ),in the colon were assessed.The lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced inflammation model of Caco2 cells was constructed and the cells were divided into Control,LPS and LPS+CYP groups.The expression levels of tight junction protein and inflammatory factors in each group were assessed.Gene Ontology(GO)functional enrichment analysis was conducted to predict the possible pathways of action and potential molecular mechanisms of CYP,and to verify them in vivo and in vitro.Results In the in vivo study,compared with those of the TNBS group,the body mass and colon length of mice in the CYP group and the 5-ASA group were significantly increased,while the disease activity scores and histological inflammation scores were significantly decreased(P＜0.05).The level of lucifcein-glucan isothiocyanate and the bacterial translocation rate(in the liver,the spleen,and mesenteric lymph nodes)were significantly decreased,while the transepithelial electric resistance(TEER)value and the expression levels of zonula occluden protein-1(ZO-1),and claudin-1 were significantly increased(P＜0.05).The expression of inflammatory factors was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).In the in vitro study,compared with those of the LPS group,the TEER value and the expression of ZO-1 and claudin-1 in the Caco2 cells in the LPS+CYP group were significantly increased(P＜0.05).The expression of inflammatory factors was significantly decreased(P＜0.05).Enrichment analysis showed that CYP was correlated with inflammatory response(P＜0.001).Western blot results showed that CYP could significantly reduce the expression of key proteins in toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)/nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)signaling pathway in vivo and in vitro(P＜0.05).Conclusion CYP may protect the intestinal barrier by antagonizing the inflammatory response of the intestinal mucosa through regulating the expression of the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway,thereby alleviating TNBS-induced CD-like colitis in mice.

Objective:To evaluate the value of synthetic MRI combined with three dimensional-arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) imaging in the grading of diffuse glioma and its correlation with tumor cell proliferative activity (Ki-67).Methods:This study was prospective. The clinical and imaging manifestations of 66 patients with diffuse glioma who underwent synthetic MRI combined with 3D-ASL imaging from August 2020 to June 2021 in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were analyzed. Among 66 patients, there were 36 males and 30 females, aged 4-76 years, and divided into low grade glioma (LGG) group ( n=25) (WHO Ⅱ) and high grade glioma (HGG) group ( n=41) (WHO Ⅲ and vⅣ). T 1, T 2, proton density (PD) and cerebral blood flow (CBF) of tumor parenchyma were measured by GE ADW4.7 postprocessing software. The Ki-67 label index (Ki-67 LI) in postoperative pathological sections was detected by immunohistochemistry. Independent sample t test or Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the differences of quantitative parameters between HGG group and LGG group. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficacy of T 1, PD, CBF and the combination. Spearman test was used to analyze the correlation between the parameters and Ki-67 label index (LI). Results:T 1[(1 573±173)ms], PD[(86.2±2.4)pu] and CBF[(129±48)ml·100 g -1·min -1] in HGG group were significantly higher than those in LGG group [(1 376±134)ms, (83.0±2.5)pu and (77±49)ml·100g -1·min -1 respectively], and difference had statistical significance ( t=-4.86, -5.08, -4.24, P<0.01). ROC confirmed that the area under curve (AUC) of T 1, PD and CBF in differentiating HGG from LGG were 0.847, 0.843 and 0.777, respectively. In multi-parameter analysis, the combination of three parameters had the best diagnostic efficiency (AUC=0.973) and the sensitivity and specificity were 87.8% and 100%, respectively. In LGG and HGG groups, there was no correlation between T 1, T 2, PD, CBF and Ki-67 LI. In the overall cohort, T 1, PD and CBF had slight positive correlation with Ki-67 LI ( r=0.394, 0.411 and 0.406, respectively, all P<0.01). There was no correlation between T 2 and Ki-67 LI ( r=-0.100, P=0.423). Conclusion:Synthetic MRI and 3D-ASL can noninvasively evaluate the pathological grade of glioma and predict the expression of Ki-67, among which T 1 and PD are novel imaging marks.

Objective: To explore the effect of nursing intervention on the biofeedback effect of functional constipation in children. Methods: A total of 112 children (4-16 years old) who were diagnosed with functional constipation in the Department of Pediatric Surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were randomly divided into the experimental group (54 cases) and the control group (53 cases). Children in the experimental group were treated with biofeedback training and personalized nursing intervention for functional constipation in children. The control group used biofeedback combined with traditional nursing intervention to treat functional constipation in children. The WHO-5 (World Health Organization′s five physical and mental health) scales were used to compare the effects of the two groups and were followed up for 3-6 months. Results: A total of 107 children completed the study, 54 in the experimental group and 53 in the control group. There were no significant differences in the scores of the WHO-5 scale and clinical symptoms between the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, the total score of WHO-5 in the experimental group was (21.69± 2.28), the total score of clinical symptoms was (6.56±1.16), the total score of WHO-5 in the control group was (17.85±3.189), and the total score of clinical symptoms was (9.04±2.121). The difference was significant (t=-7.146, t=7.491, P<0.01). Conclusion Personalized nursing intervention can enhance the effect of biofeedback training on children and adolescents with functional constipation and improve their quality of life.

Objective To investigate the changes of gene expression profile in Beagle dogs' peripheral blood lymphocytes after acute irradiation.Methods Totally 20 male adult Beagle dogs were randomly divided into four groups including non-treatment blank control group and three radiation groups exposed to 0.5,2.0,and 5.0 Gy of γ-rays,respectively.Six hours after radiation,the peripheral blood were collected for lymphocytes isolation.Total RNA was extracted from the lymphocytes and analyzed by microarray hybridization.The differential gene profiles of radiation groups were analyzed by gene ontology (GO) analysis and kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathways analysis,and the alerted genes were further confirmed by the real time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) assay.Results Compared to the blank control group,the expressions of 308 genes in the radiation groups were perturbed over 2-fold of control,including 61 genes up-regulated and 247 genes down-regulated,which were mainly associated with immune response and cancer occurrence.The GO analysis indicated that the differential expressed genes were associated with cell connection,signal transduction,oxidation-reduction reaction and metabolism.The KEGG pathway analysis showed that some physiological and biochemical processes were involved,such as phagocytosis,tumor pathway,p53 signaling pathway,JAK-STAT signal pathway,cell differentiation,and proliferation,oxidative phosphorylation,glycogen dysplasia and other pathways.The microarray data of the alterations of apoptosis enhancing nuclease (AEN) and mitogenactivated protein kinase 13 (MAP3K13) gene expressions were further confirmed by qRT-PCR.Conclusions Exposure to different doses of acute γ-ray irradiation had significant impact on the gene expressions in Beagle dogs' peripheral blood lymphocytes and those differential expressed genes were related to a series of biological processes and pathways including immune response,metabolism and carcinogenesis.

Objective To explore the effect of health education on behavior,blood pressure control and psy-chological factors in patients with hypertension.Methods 800 patients with hypertension in Yanling County Hospital were selected and randomly divided into management group(n =600)and control group(n =200)according to ran-dom numerical table method.The patients of the two groups were carried out regular hypertension health education and follow -up,and the health records were established.The management group was carried out individually and one to one health education and management.6 months after intervention,changes in behavioral habits compliance,blood pressure control,depression and anxiety self -rating scale of the two groups were assessed.Results Before the intervention,there were no statistical differences between the two groups(all P >0.05).After 6 months intervention, the compliance ratios of low salt diet,smoking cessation and limit alcohol,appropriate exercise,rational use of drugs, monitoring blood pressure,regular review in management group were 92.6%,85.3%,90.3%,93.3%,89.6%, 95.6%,and those of the control group were 56.0%,53.0%,63.0%,52.5%,49.0%,67.0%,the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =146.37,89.23,116.52,178.29,152.21,159.38,all P <0.01 ).The awareness rate, treatment rate and compliance rate of hypertension in the management group were 94.0%,95.3%,89.6%,which of the control group were 63.0%,51.5%,42.5%,the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =121.54,218.60, 193.67,all P <0.01).The self -rating depression scale and self -rating anxiety scale in management group were (40.12 ±10.34)points,(39.20 ±7.78)points,respectively,and those in the control group were (46.60 ±9.56)points, (44.54 ±8.96)points,the differences were statistically significant (t =7.84,20.64,all P <0.01 ).Conclusion Individualized health education around drug therapy can improve patients'behavioral habits and psychological factors, increase the rate of blood pressure,and thus improve the prognosis of patients with hypertension.
