Objective To investigated the effects of occupational exposure to N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) on sterol regulatory element-binding protein (SREBP) and iron metabolism among workers. Methods A total of 20 workers occupationally exposed to DMF were selected as the exposure group, and 15 healthy workers without DMF exposure from the same factory were selected as the control group using the purposive sampling method. DMF exposure levels were assessed in individual samples of the workers. The urinary N-methylformamide (NMF) levels were measured by gas chromatography. The mRNA expression of SREBP-1a, SREBP-1c, and SREBP-2 in peripheral blood was measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect serum transferrin, soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR), and ferritin levels. Results The DMF exposure levels among the workers in the control group were below the detection limit, and urinary NMF was undetectable. The median DMF exposure level was 13.30 mg/m3, and the mean urinary NMF level was (9.72±1.78) mg/g Cr among the workers in the exposure group. Compared with the control group, the relative mRNA expression of SREBP-1a, SREBP-1c, and SREBP-2 in peripheral blood of workers in the exposure group increased (all P<0.05), while the levels of transferrin and sTfR decreased (both P<0.01). However, there was no statistically significant difference in serum ferritin levels between the two groups (P>0.05). In the exposure group, urinary NMF level of workers was negatively correlated with the relative mRNA expression level of SREBP-1c in blood [correlation coefficient (r)=-0.50, P=0.03], and positively correlated with the levels of serum transferrin, sTfR, and ferritin (r = 0.63, 0.58, and 0.52, respectively; all P<0.05). Conclusion Occupational exposure to DMF can upregulate the expression of the SREBP family and disrupt iron metabolism, with a potential association between these effects.

Patients with lung cancer experience a heavy symptom burden during the perioperative period, which seriously affects their recovery and quality of life. Traditional symptom management models rely mainly on scheduled ward rounds during hospitalization and outpatient follow-up after discharge. However, they have limitations such as delayed symptom recognition, lack of post-discharge monitoring, and non-quantitative symptom assessment, which often lead to delayed interventions and low patient satisfaction. In recent years, the symptom management model based on electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) has been increasingly valued in clinical practice. Existing high-level evidence from both domestic and international studies indicates that, through proactive monitoring, real-time alerts, and remote interventions, this model enables dynamic and continuous symptom management and helps improve patient recovery and healthcare experience. As a supplement to routine medical care, the ePRO-based symptom management model aims to enhance the quality of care rather than replace existing medical processes. To promote the standardized application of this model in perioperative lung cancer care, this consensus integrates domestic and international evidence. After multiple rounds of voting by more than 50 experts, it formulates 12 consensus statements covering the three core components, symptom monitoring, alerting, and intervention, to provide scientific and practical recommendations for clinical practice.

Objective:To systematically evaluate the current status and methodological quality of guideline and consensus in ovarian stimulation for in vitro fertilization (IVF), and to provide reference for the development of future guidelines and research. Methods:A systematic search was conducted in databases including PubMed, Embase, CNKI, Wanfang, Sinomed and relevant guideline websites from inceptions to October 2024. Data were extracted from the literature that met the inclusion criteria, and methodological quality was assessed using the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation Ⅱ (AGREE Ⅱ) tool. Descriptive analysis was performed with results presented in visual data charts. Results:A total of 23 studies were included, with 8 guidelines and 15 consensus. Totally 21 (91.3%) studies focused on the selection of ovarian stimulation protocols, with the majority concentrating on protocols for patients undergoing IVF treatment for the first cycle, and 12 (52.2%) studies focused on the selection of gonadotropin starting dosage. In terms of methodology, the average standardized scores in the 6 assessment domains of the AGREE Ⅱ tool were as follows: scope and purpose (85.1%), stakeholder involvement (66.6%), rigour of development (36.5%), clarity of presentation (70.1%), applicability (36.4%), and editorial independence (46.2%).Conclusion:Current recommendations in ovarian stimulation for IVF exhibit inconsistencies, and the methodological quality varies, which partially hinders the translation of evidence into clinical practice. Future research should further focus on the selection of ovarian stimulation protocols and gonadotropin starting dosage, promoting the update and refinement of guidelines and consensus to guide the precise treatment of ovarian stimulation.
