Objective To explore method for improving the colonization efficiency of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)in the mouse stomach and to determine if the proton pump inhibitor(PPI)pantoprazole can act as a colonization adjuvant to enhance Hp colonization, with the aim of providing an effective tool for establishing an Hp infection mouse model. Methods The Hp Sydney strain 1(SS1)was introduced and solid plate and liquid culture systems were established. The effects of different doses of pantoprazole on gastric acid secretion in mice were compared. The impact of Hp inoculation, alone or combined with pantoprazole pretreatment,on Hp colonization efficiency was analyzed using rapid urease tests, bacterial plate cultures, and TaqMan quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Results PPI pretreatment inhibited gastric acid secretion and promoted Hp colonization in the mouse stomach,to some extent. Conclusions PPI can serve as colonization adjuvants to enhanc e the efficiency of constructing Hp infection mouse models.

3.Research progress of circadian clock genes regulating stem cell differentiation
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2024;40(2):270-276
Circadian clock exists widely in all kinds of organisms and regulates various physiological activities of organisms, which mainly depends on the rhythmic expression of circadian clock genes.Circadian clock genes play an important role in many physiologi-cal processes, which has been shown to be closely related to tissue regeneration.Stem cells are the focus of regenerative medicine, and the regulation of stem cells directed differentiation can achieve tissue repair and regeneration.Studies have shown that circadian clock genes are the key factors regulating stem cell differentiation,so targeting circadian clock genes shows certain therapeutic prospects. In this review, the research progress of the regulation of circadian clock genes in the differentiation of stem cells and their related mecha-nisms is introduced and analyzed to provide possible ideas for the future application of regenerative medicine.

Objective:
To analyze the trends in incidence and mortality of Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Zhejiang Province from 2003 to 2017, so as to provide the evidence for the development of AD prevention and control strategies.
Methods:
The data pertaining to the incidence and mortality of AD in China from 2003 to 2017 were collected from the Global Burden Disease Study, and standardized to the data of the Sixth National Population Census in China in 2010. The trends in incidence and mortality of AD were analyzed using annual percent change (APC) and average annual percent change ( AAPC ) in Zhejiang Province from 2003 to 2017.
Results:
The incidence of AD increased from 96.05/105 in 2003 to 140.96/105 in 2017 in Zhejiang Province, with AAPC of 2.776% ( P<0.05 ), and the greatest APC ( 3.419% ) was found during the period between 2003 and 2005 ( P<0.05 ). The standardized incidence of AD increased 102.06/105 in 2003 to 106.09/105 in 2017 in Zhejiang Province, with AAPC of 0.274% ( P<0.05 ), and the greatest APC ( 1.177% ) was measured during the period between 2003 and 2005 ( P<0.05). The mortality of AD increased from 24.60/105 in 2003 to 41.44/105 in 2017 in Zhejiang Province, with AAPC of 3.862% ( P<0.05 ), and the greatest APC (4.667%) was found during the period between 2005 and 2011 ( P<0.05 ). The standardized mortality of AD increased 26.83/105 in 2003 to 27.16/105 in 2017 in Zhejiang Province, with AAPC of 0.142% ( P>0.05 ), and the greatest APC ( 1.048% ) was measured during the period between 2005 and 2012 ( P<0.05 ).
Conclusion
Both the incidence and mortality of AD appeared a tendency towards a rise in Zhejiang Province from 2003 to 2017.

Objective:To compare the effects of casein, whey and soy protein diet on treating colitis. Methods:Fifty C57BL/6 mice were randomly and equally divided into control group, general diet group, casein group, whey group and soy group with 10 mice in each group. Mice were fed with corresponding diets for 14 days. Acute colitis mice modelof general diet group, casein group, whey group and soy group were induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) on the 7th day. The disease activity index (DAI) score was evaluated and recorded. The serum and colon tissues of each group on the 14th day were collected todetect the serum levels of IL-6, TNF-α and IL-10 by ELISA, and to calculate the pathological score of colon. Results:The DAI score of the whey group was significantly lower than that of the casein group and soy protein group (all P<0.05) , and higher than that of the control group ( P<0.05) . The pathological score of colon tissue of the control group was significantly lower as compared to other 4 groups (all P<0.05) , while above scoreof whey group was significantly lower than that of the casein group and soy protein group (all P<0.05) , but there was no significant difference between the whey group and general diet group. The levels of serum IL-6 and TNF-α in were significantly lower than those in the casein group and soy group (all P<0.05) , and serum IL-10 level in the whey group was significantly higher than that in general diet, casein and soy groups (all P<0.05) . The level of colon IL-10 in the whey group was significantly higher than that in the casein group and soy group (all P<0.05) . Conclusion:The efficacy of whey protein diet on treating acute colitis mice is better compared to general diet, casein and soy protein diet.

Enteral nutrition (EN) is an important way in the treatment of Crohn′s disease (CD) . Although the exact pathogenesis of CD is still unknown, CD patients have some significant pathological features compared with healthy population, including intestinal flora dysbiosis, excessive intestinal mucosal inflammation, intestinal mucosal damage, mesenteric fat abnormality, etc. This review explores the mechanism of EN in the treatment of CD in order to better understand the role of EN in modifying CD disease progression and to promote the clinical management of CD.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(22):3091-3094
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the application of rational drug use software system in drug dispensing in outpatient depart-ment of our hospital. METHODS:The application of rational drug use software system (included clinical decision support soft-ware,drug dispensing software and drug management software) in prescribing (warning in advance),dispensing (intervention in the event)and the prescription review(the post review)in outpatient department of our hospital were all introduced. Outpatient pre-scription checking and intervention were collected from our hospital after the application of rational drug use software system to evaluate the effect of the software system. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Rational drug use software system is adopted to realize scientific, convenient and express monitoring and management of prescription drug use in advance,in the course and afterwards. A total of 721 507 outpatient prescriptions were checked in our hospital from Jan. to May in 2015;0.17‰prescriptions were intercept-ed by system warning;system pointed out and pharmacists had checked 23.25% prescriptions;the rate of qualified prescription was more than 99.96%. After pharmacists intervention, various types of irrational prescriptions decreased significantly (P<0.01). It is suggested that pharmacists should make full use of information system,at the same time, optimize and improve the system through active exploration so as to improve rational drug use.
