Objective: To explore the effects of a classroom based transdiagnostic preventive intervention program for emotional disorders on depressive and anxiety symptoms, and resilience among junior high school students, so as to provide reference for promoting adolescent mental health. Methods: From October to December 2023, 72 students from a junior high school in Beijing were recruited as research subjects and divided into an intervention group ( n =36) and a control group ( n =36). The intervention group participated in 8 sessions (40 mins per session) of transdiagnostic prevention intervention course for emotional disorders; the control group students participated in research based learning lessons or class meetings. Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), and Resilience Scale-8 (RS-8) were used to evaluate junior high school students. The Wilcoxon signed rank test was used to compare the differences in depressive and anxiety symptoms, and resilience scores between the intervention group and the control group before and after the intervention. PROCESS macro was used to test the mediating effect. Results: There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of depressive and anxiety symptoms, and resilience before and after intervention in the intervention group ( Z =-1.07, 0.07, 1.43, all P >0.05). In the control group, the depressive symptoms score was higher after the intervention than before, and the resilience score was lower than before the intervention ( Z = 2.23 , -2.53, both P <0.05). After intervention, the depressive symptoms score in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, and the resilience score in the intervention group was higher than that in the control group ( Z =-2.09, 3.33, both P < 0.05). The increase in the scores of resilience played a complete mediating role between the intervention and depressive symptoms, with the mediating effect value being -0.98 (95% CI =-2.47 to -0.11), accounting for 30.98% of the total effect. Conclusion Transdiagnostic preventive intervention program for emotional disorders based on classroom could prevent the deterioration of depressive symptom in junior high school students, and maintaining the level of resilience is an important factor for the intervention effect.

OBJECTIVES: To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics and prognostic factors of pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of children with newly diagnosed HL from January 2011 to December 2023 at four hospitals: Fujian Medical University Union Hospital, Fujian Medical University Zhangzhou Hospital, First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, and Fujian Children's Hospital. Patients were categorized into low-risk (R1), intermediate-risk (R2), and high-risk (R3) groups based on HL staging and pre-treatment risk factors. The patients received ABVD regimen or Chinese Pediatric HL-2013 regimen chemotherapy. Early treatment response and long-term efficacy were assessed, and prognostic factors were analyzed using the Cox proportional hazards regression model. RESULTS: The overall complete response (CR) rates after 2 and 4 cycles of chemotherapy were 42% and 68%, respectively. Compared with the ABVD regimen group, patients treated with the HL-2013 regimen in the R1 group showed significantly higher CR rates after both 2 and 4 cycles (P<0.05). However, no statistically significant differences in CR rates were observed between the two regimens in the R2 and R3 groups (P>0.05). The 5-year event-free survival (EFS) rate, overall survival rate, and freedom from treatment failure rate were 83%±4%, 97%±2%, and 88%±4%, respectively. Cox analysis indicated that the presence of a large tumor mass at diagnosis and failure to achieve CR after 4 cycles of chemotherapy were independent risk factors for lower EFS rates (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Pediatric HL generally has a favorable prognosis. The presence of a large tumor mass at diagnosis and failure to achieve CR after 4 cycles of chemotherapy indicate poor prognosis.

This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of combining albumin-bound paclitaxel (abpaclitaxel) and anlotinib for ovarian cancer. In this study, 44 patients diagnosed with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer were enrolled. Patients received ab-paclitaxel along with anlotinib until disease progression or intolerable toxicity. Efficacy was assessed according to RECIST 1.1 criteria or Rustin's criteria. The primary endpoint was the investigator-evaluated objective response rate (ORR). 44 patients were enrolled between January 2021 and March 2023 with a median age of 49 years. Twenty-nine had measurable lesions and 15 had non-measurable lesions. Overall, the investigator-evaluated ORR was 56.8% (25/44; 95% CI 0.411-0.713) in intention-to-treat population and 58.1% (25/43; 95% CI 0.422-0.726) in per-protocol population. The median progression-free survival was 9.8 months, and the median duration of response was 7.4 months. For safety, grade 3/4 adverse events (AEs) included leukopenia, gum pain, hypertension, and hand-foot syndrome. The response rates were 55.0% (11/20) in patients with previous use of antiangiogenic reagents and who had previous use of PARP inhibitors. The combination of ab-paclitaxel and anlotinib showed promising anti-tumor activity and a manageable safety profile in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. Patients with previous use of antiangiogenic drugs or PARP inhibitors still benefited from this protocol.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of hypomethylating agents (HMA) in patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) .Methods:A total of 409 MDS patients from 45 hospitals in Zhejiang province who received at least four consecutive cycles of HMA monotherapy as initial therapy were enrolled to evaluate the efficacy and safety of HMA. Mann-Whitney U or Chi-square tests were used to compare the differences in the clinical data. Logistic regression and Cox regression were used to analyze the factors affecting efficacy and survival. Kaplan-Meier was used for survival analysis. Results:Patients received HMA treatment for a median of 6 cycles (range, 4-25 cycles) . The complete remission (CR) rate was 33.98% and the overall response rate (ORR) was 77.02%. Multivariate analysis revealed that complex karyotype ( P=0.02, OR=0.39, 95% CI 0.18-0.84) was an independent favorable factor for CR rate. TP53 mutation ( P=0.02, OR=0.22, 95% CI 0.06-0.77) was a predictive factor for a higher ORR. The median OS for the HMA-treated patients was 25.67 (95% CI 21.14-30.19) months. HMA response ( P=0.036, HR=0.47, 95% CI 0.23-0.95) was an independent favorable prognostic factor, whereas complex karyotype ( P=0.024, HR=2.14, 95% CI 1.10-4.15) , leukemia transformation ( P<0.001, HR=2.839, 95% CI 1.64-4.92) , and TP53 mutation ( P=0.012, HR=2.19, 95% CI 1.19-4.07) were independent adverse prognostic factors. There was no significant difference in efficacy and survival between the reduced and standard doses of HMA. The CR rate and ORR of MDS patients treated with decitabine and azacitidine were not significantly different. The median OS of patients treated with decitabine was longer compared with that of patients treated with azacitidine (29.53 months vs 20.17 months, P=0.007) . The incidence of bone marrow suppression and pneumonia in the decitabine group was higher compared with that in the azacitidine group. Conclusion:Continuous and regular use of appropriate doses of hypomethylating agents may benefit MDS patients to the greatest extent if it is tolerated.

The purpose of this study was to identify the tick species native to Xindi Township,Yumin County,Xinjiang,China.Preliminary morphological identification of parasitic ticks collected from animals in the area was conducted with an ultra-depth of field three-dimensional VHX 600 digital stereo microscope.Total DNA of the ticks was extracted,amplified by PCR based on the COI and ITS2 gene loci,and the posi-tive PCR products were sequenced.The sequence were a-ligned with reference sequences from the NCBI database were aligned with the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool.A genet-ic phylogenetic tree was generated with the neighbor-joining method of MEGA 7.0 software to determine the evolutionary biological characteristics of ticks.Morphological identification showed that the ticks collected from Xindi Township of Yu-min County were consistent with the characteristics of Hya-lomma asiaticum.An evolutionary tree based on the COI and ITS2 gene sequences showed that the ticks collected in this study were clustered with known H.asiaticum sequences.The PCR products of COI and ITS2 were sequenced and compared,which confirmed that the collected tick species were H.asiaticum,in agreement with the morphological and molecular biological results.These findings help to clarify the distribution of ticks in Xindi Township of Xinjiang,and provide basic data for the analysis of tick genetic and evolutionary characteristics,as reference for surveillance and control of ticks in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Objective:To investigate the correlation between bone marrow microvascular density,angiogenesis factors and bortezomib resistance in multiple myeloma(MM).Methods:The data of 200 patients with MM treated in our hospital from January 2020 to August 2023 were retrospectively analyzed,and the patients with MM were divided into drug-resistant group(n=68)and non-drug-resistant group(n=132)according to their drug resistance during bortezomib treatment.The univariate and multivariate logistic analysis were used to screen the independent influencing factors of bortezomib resistance in MM patients during treatment.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and clinical decision curve(DCA)were used to evaluate the predictive performance and clinical application value of the risk prediction model,the consistency between the actual incidence rate and the predicted incidence rate was judged by validating the calibration chart,and the goodness-of-fit of the model was judged by H-L test.Results:68 of the 200 MM patients developed resistance and poor clinical efficacy during bortezomib treatment,and the clinical resistance rate of bortezomib was 34.0％.The results of multivariate analysis showed that high bone marrow microvessel density(MVD)and high bone marrow supernatant VEGF,HGF,and bFGF expression levels were independent risk factors for bortezomib resistance in MM patients(P＜0.05).The area under the ROC curve(AUC)of the model jointly constructed by bone marrow MVD,serum VEGF,HGF,bFGF and TNF-α levels was 0.924,and its sensitivity and specificity were 92.6％and 78.8％,which were higher than those of the bone marrow MVD model(AUC=0.743)and the vasogenesis factor model(AUC=0.878).The calibration curve of the joint prediction model was close to the standard curve,indicating that the model is more consistent.The results of H-L goodness-of-fit test showed x2=14.748,P=0.164,the joint prediction model had a good fit.The DCA curve showed that the clinical net benefit of intervention in the range of 0.0～1.0 was greater than that of full intervention and no intervention.Conclusion:The prediction model based on bone marrow MVD and vasogenesis factors(VEGF,HGF,bFGF)in MM patients has higher clinical evaluation performance and predictive value.

Objective To investigate the effects of oral use combined with percutaneous iontophoresis of Osteoking(mainly composed of Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium,Carthami Flos,Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma,Eucommiae Cortex,Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma,Daturae Flos,Astragali Radix,Radixet Caulis Schizophragma Integrifolia,and Trionycis Carapax)on the pain,lumbar function and serological indicators of the patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods Ninety-two patients with LDH were randomly divided into control group(31 cases),oral use group(31 cases)and combination group(30 cases).The control group was given oral administration of Celecoxib,the oral use group was given oral administration of Osteoking,and the combination group was given oral administration combined with percutaneous iontophoresis of Osteoking.The course of treatment for the 3 groups covered 6 weeks.The changes of pain visual analogue scale(VAS)score,lumbar function Japanese Orthopedic Association(JOA)score,serum tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)and matrix metalloproteinase 3(MMP-3)levels in the three groups were observed before and after treatment.Results(1)During the trial,there were 2 patients from both control group and oral use group lost to follow-up,but none of the combination group was lost to follow-up.Eventually,29 patients in the control group,29 patients in the oral group and 30 patients in the combination group were included in the statistical analysis.(2)After treatment,the pain VAS score and lumbar function JOA score in the three groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the decrease of pain VAS score and lumbar function JOA score in the combination group was significantly superior to that in the control group and the oral use group(P＜0.05),while there was no significant difference between the control group and the oral use group(P＞0.05).(3)After treatment,the serum TNF-α level in the three groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),while no significant difference of TNF-α level was presented among the three groups after treatment(P＞0.05).(4)After treatment,the serum MMP-3 level in the oral use group and combination group was significantly lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),but no obvious change of MMP-3 level was shown in the control group(P＞0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the decrease of serum MMP-3 level in the oral use group and combination group was significantly superior to that in the control group(P＜0.05),while no significant difference of TNF-αlevel was presented between the oral use group and combination group(P＞0.05).Conclusion Osteoking is effective on relieving the pain symptoms of LDH patients,improving the lumbar activity function,and decreasing the levels of serum TNF-α and MMP-3.The efficacy of Osteoking by oral use combined with percutaneous iontophoresis is stronger than that of Osteoking orally alone or Celecoxib.

Objective:To investigate the ego-depletion level of adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) and to explore its association with glycemic control and quality of life.Methods:This was a cross-sectional survey study. A total of 195 adolescents with T1DM were recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from March to September 2022 by convenient sampling method. The Self-Regulatory Fatigue Scale (SRF-S) and Short Form of the Chinese version Diabetes Quality of Life for Youth Scale (C-DQOLY-SF) and the general information questionnaire were collected and the glycated hemoglobin (HbA 1c) value was detected. Results:The total score of self-regulatory fatigue for 195 adolescents with T1DM was (42.23 ± 9.94) points, with a scoring rate of 52.79%, which was at a medium level. Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total score of self-regulatory fatigue was positively correlated with HbA1c ( r = 0.25, P<0.01), and negatively correlated with quality of life ( r = -0.61, P<0.01). The hierarchical linear regression results showed that after controlling for demographic sociolagy and disease variables, ego-depletion had a positive predictive effect on HbA1c ( t = 3.69, P<0.01), while ego-depletion had a negative predictive effect on Quality of life ( t = -8.48, P<0.01). Conclusions:Ego-depletion of adolescents with T1DM may affect their blood glucose control and quality of life, which should be noticed by medical workers.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of idarubicin combined with high-dose cytarabine as a post-remission therapy for elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). METHODS: From November 2017 to June 2021, 24 AML patients aged ≥60 years who were in complete remission for the first time were enrolled in consolidation chemotherapy with idarubicin (10 mg/m² intravenously once for day 1) combined with high-dose cytarabine (1.5 g/m² intravenously over 3 hours every 12 hours for day 1-3), and the efficacy and safety were observed. RESULTS: Among the 24 patients, there were 12 males and 12 females, the median age was 65 (60-78) years old, and the median follow-up time was 23.3 (2-42.7) months. By the end of the follow-up, 15 patients relapsed and 11 patients died. The median disease-free survival (DFS) was 9 months and there were 3 cases of 2-year DFS. The median overall survival (OS) was 16.2 months, and there were 4 cases of 2-year OS. In terms of safety, 6 patients had grade 1-2 non-hematological adverse reactions, 12 patients had grade 3-4 hematological adverse reactions, and a total of 6 patients developed infection after consolidation chemotherapy. Multivariate analysis showed that two induction cycles and high-risk cytogenetic abnormalities were the adverse factors of DFS and OS in elderly patients with AML in this study. CONCLUSION For AML patients ≥60 years old in first complete remission, idarubicin combined with high-dose cytarabine as post-remission therapy has a better safety, but compared with other regimens does not improve the prognosis of elderly patients, which needs further exploration.
