Objective:To summarize the clinical symptoms of cyclic vomiting syndrome（CVS）in children and investigate its association with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth（SIBO）.Methods:A total of 89 children who were diagnosed as CVS and improved lactulose hydrogen breath test (LHBT) in the Pediatric Department of Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were selected as CVS group.Simultaneously，50 healthy children with physical examination in our hospital were selected as the control group. According to the results of LHBT,the children with CVS were divided into SIBO group (LHBT positive) and non-SIBO group (LHBT negative). The clinical data of children in each group were compared.Results:Among the 89 CVS patients，there were 42 males and 47 females，with a mean age of（7.50±3.54）years.Common accompanying symptoms included excessive sleepiness（76 cases，85.39%），anorexia(62 cases，69.66%），constipation（55 cases，61.80%），abdominal pain（34 cases,38.20%）and so on. There were no significant differences in age and gender between children in CVS group and control group ( P>0.05). The body mass index of CVS group was lower than that of control group.The positive rate of LHBT was higher than that of the control group (56.18% vs. 8.00%),the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05),and the concentrations of hydrogen and methane in CVS group were higher than those of the control group at different time points( P<0.05).Among 89 children with CVS,there were 50 cases in SIBO group and 39 cases in non-SIBO group. There were no significant differences in gender,age and body mass index between the two groups ( P>0.05). The constipation rate and moderate/severe disease rate in SIBO group were higher than those in non-SIBO group (88.00% vs. 28.21%,94.00% vs. 43.59%),and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusion:The incidence of SIBO in children with CVS is higher,and SIBO may play a key role in CVS. CVS children with SIBO have higher disease severity.

Objective To explore the efficacy of 3D modeling-assisted minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of type B and type C Pilon fractures.Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data of 82 patients with Pilon fractures admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to May 2023.According to different surgical methods,they were divided into the control group and the observation group,with 41 cases in each group.For the patients in the control group,the surgical plan was routinely planned by referring to X-ray and CT images.While patients in the observation group adopted 3D modeling to assist in planning the surgical plan.The operation time,intraopera-tive blood loss,excellent and good rate of fracture reduction,fracture healing time,ankle joint function score and incidence of complications of the two groups were compared.Results Both groups of patients were followed up for 6 to 12 months.The operation time,intraoperative blood loss,and fracture healing time of patients in the observation group were all shorter/less than those in the control group(P<0.05);the excellent and good rate of fracture reduction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society(AOFAS)score and the excellent and good rate of ankle joint function 6 to 12 months after surgery in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion With the assistance of 3D modeling,minimally invasive surgery for type B and type C Pilon fractures can reduce the intraoperative blood loss,shorten the operation time and fracture healing time,improve the excellent and good rate of fracture reduction,promote the recovery of ankle joint function,and reduce the incidence of complications.

Oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OPSCC)is a malignant tumor originating from the squamous epithelium of the oro-pharyngeal mucosa,accounting for more than 90％of oropharyngeal malignancies.In recent years,human papillomavirus(HPV)infec-tion has become one of the primary etiological factors of oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma.The incidence of HPV-associated oropharyn-geal squamous carcinoma has been rising annually,with a noticeable trend toward younger populations,posing a significant threat to hu-man health.Due to the distinct biological behavior and clinical characteristics of HPV-associated oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma com-pared to its non-HPV-related counterpart,the diagnostic and treatment strategies for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma have undergone substantial changes.Prevention and screening for oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma are of critical importance.The diagnostic and treat-ment process involves multi-disciplinary collaboration,including oral and maxillofacial surgery,otolaryngology,head and neck surgery,oncology,radiology and pathology.Based on evidence from clinical practice,a comprehensive,integrated diagnostic and therapeutic ap-proach has been established,centered around the concept of"prevention,screening,diagnosis,treatment,and rehabilitation",covering the entire patient lifecycle and providing a valuable reference for clinical practice.

Objective To investigate the impacts of miR-141-3p on the proliferation,migration and epithelial-mesen-chymal transformation of glioma cells by regulating lysophosphatidic acid receptor 3(LPAR3).Methods RT-qPCR was used to detect the level of miR-141-3p and LPAR3 in glioma tissues and cells.Dual luciferase was used to de-tect the targeting relationship between miR-141-3p and LPAR3.The cells were divided into control group,miR-NC group,miR-141-3p mimics group,miR-141-3p mimics+pcDNA3.1 group,and miR-141-3p mimics+pcDNA-LPAR3 group,and then transfected with corresponding plasmids.RT-qPCR was used to detect the level of miR-141-3p and LPAR3 in cells.EdU method was used to detect cell proliferation.The scratch healing experiment was used to detect cell migration.Western blot was used to detect the expression of proteins related to cell proliferation,migration,and epithelial-mesenchymal transformation.Xenograft tumor model in nude mice was used to observe tumor formation.RT-qPCR was used to detect the level of miR-141-3p in tumor tissue.In addition,Western blot was performed to detect the expression of LPAR3,PCNA,and MMP-2.Results miR-141-3p was downregulated,whereas LPAR3 mRNA was upregulated in glioma tissues and U251,T98G,and CHG-5 cell lines(P＜0.05).There was a targeted binding site between miR-141-3p and LPAR3.miR-141-3p mimics significantly increased the ex-pression of miR-141-3p and E-cadherin,but decreased LPAR3 mRNA level,EdU-positive rate,scratch wound healing rate,and the expression of PCNA,cyclin D1,MMP-2,MMP-9,N-cadherin,and vimentin(P＜0.05).pcDNA-LPAR3 reversed effect on expression of these factors(P＜0.05).Tumor transplantation experiments in nude mice showed that miR-141-3p mimics reduced tumor volume,tumor weight,LPAR3,PCNA,and MMP-2 expres-sion,and increased the level of miR-141-3p(P＜0.05).Conclusions miR-141-3p can inhibit proliferation,mi-gration,and epithelial-mesenchymal transformation of glioma cells by down-regulating LPAR3.

In recent decades,the incidence of human papillomavirus(HPV)-associated oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OPSCC)has shown a marked increase.Significant changes have also occurred in the OPSCC diagnosis and treatment paradigm.Deter-mining HPV status prior to treatment is now essential,and radiotherapy/chemotherapy,immunotherapy,and minimally invasive surgical techniques have progressively emerged as key modalities for managing OPSCC.However,alongside these paradigm shifts,a comprehen-sive technical consensus guiding the entire diagnostic and therapeutic process for OPSCC patients is currently lacking.Given China's large population base and the rising incidence of OPSCC,an expert panel convened to develop a clinical technical consensus on OPSCC diagno-sis and management tailored to China's specific context.This consensus aims to further enhance and standardize understanding of OPSCC management techniques among relevant healthcare professionals.

ObjectiveTo investigate the current status of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) among the elderly population in rural areas of Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, and to provide an evidence for the development of LTBI prevention and control measures. MethodsBetween January and May 2024, elderly individuals participating in urban and rural residents’ health checkups were screened for Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection using a domestically produced interferon-γ release assay (IGRA) kit. Individuals tested positive by IGRA but without active tuberculosis were classified as LTBI cases. The prevalence of LTBI among the participants was subsequently analyzed. ResultsAmong the 6 765 subjects, 637 tested positive by IGRA, including one identified active tuberculosis patient, resulting in a LTBI prevalence rate of 9.40%. There was a statistically significant difference in positivity rates across different IGRA methodologies (χ²=35.530, P<0.001). Higher LTBI rate was observed in males, individuals with a history of diabetes mellitus, and those with a history of pulmonary tuberculosis, exhibiting statistically significant differences (χ²=32.401, P<0.001; χ²=5.789, P=0.020; χ²=39.248, P<0.001, respectively.) No statistically significant difference in LTBI rate was found across different age groups (χ²=0.238, P=0.971). ConclusionThe prevalence of LTBI among the elderly rural residents in Changxing County is relatively low. Male, individuals with a history of diabetes mellitus, and those with a history of pulmonary tuberculosis have an increased risk of LTBI, warranting targeted risk monitoring and timely interventions.
