Bladder-preserving treatment has become a research focus due to its potential to balance therapeutic efficacy and quality of life.In recent years, the rapid development of immunotherapy has brought new opportunities for bladder-sparing strategies. In high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer(HR-NMIBC),emerging regimens such as bacillus calmette-guérin-based immunoenhancement,immuno-chemotherapy combinations, targeted therapy, and gene therapy have demonstrated encouraging efficacy and safety in trials like GU-123 and TRUCE-02,with complete remission rate ranging from 42%-100%.In muscle-invasive bladder cancer(MIBC),immunotherapy is being integrated with trimodal therapy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and antibody-drug conjugates,as evidenced by studies such as ReBirth and BTCRC-GU15-023,which reported significant improvements in bladder-intact event-free survival,progression-free survival, and complete remission rate. This review summarizes the latest advances in immunotherapy-based bladder-preserving strategies for both HR-NMIBC and MIBC,aiming to provide insights for future individualized treatment approaches.

Objective To evaluate the quality of propranolol hydrochloride tablets based on national drug sampling,to analyze existing quality issues and improve their quality standards,to provide references and suggestions for the production, quality control, and supervision of this product. Methods A comprehensive evaluation of 178 batches of sampled products was conducted using legal standards combined with exploratory research, including key quality indicators such as related substances, dissolution, content uniformity, content determination,in vitro dissolution profiles, and genotoxic impurity N-nitrosoproranolol.The quality of domestic propranolol hydrochloride tablets and the controllability of the current quality standards for product quality were assessed. Results According to the legal standard methods, the qualification rate of 178 batches of sampled products was 100%.Exploratory research revealed that the impurity levels of samples from six manufacturing enterprises were far below the limit requirements;however, differences existed in genotoxic impurity N-nitrosoproranolol and other aspects. Conclusions The overall quality of propranolol hydrochloride tablets is good, but the current standards need further improvement. It is recommended to add/revise the detection methods for related substances, content, and content uniformity, strictly control N-nitrosoproranolol,and urge enterprises to pay attention to the quality of excipients and the control of the preparation production process.

Osteoarthritis is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by non inflammatory degeneration of articular cartilage and the formation of osteophytes at the edge of the joint, caused by complex causes. Its pathology is complex, and its pathogenesis is not yet clear, ultimately leading to joint stiffness and functional activity disorders. At present, the treatment for osteoarthritis is limited to alleviating symptoms and improving function, with varying degrees of side effects. Ferroptosis is a new type of programmed cell death discovered in recent years, which is related to the pathological and physiological processes of osteoarthritis and plays an important regulatory role in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis. Its main characteristics include iron metabolism imbalance and accumulation of reactive oxygen species. Therefore, ferroptosis inhibitors targeting ferroptosis have shown great application prospects in the treatment of osteoarthritis. In this review, the author summarizes the relevant mechanisms of ferroptosis in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis, outlines a large number of specific therapeutic drugs and their corresponding targets, with the aim of delaying and reversing the progression of osteoarthritis by regulating chondrocyte ferroptosis, which has certain clinical guiding significance.

Objective To compare and analyze the epidemiological features of adult patients with scapular fracture between eastern and western areas in China from 2010 to 2011. Methods The data of adult patients with scapular fracture who had been treated from January 2010 to December 2011 in 63 hospitals in the eastern and western areas in China were collected through the PACS system and case reports checking system. The data from the eastern 35 hospitals were classified as group A and those from the 28 western hospitals as group B. The analytic items included gender, age and AO classification. Results A total of 2, 063 cases were collected. The median age was 44 years ( interquartile range, from 33 to 56 years ) and gender ratio 3. 50:1 in Group A of 1, 376 cases; the median age was 41 years ( interquartile range, from 31 to 51 years ) and gender ratio 3. 09:1 in Group B of 687 cases. There was a significant difference between the 2 groups in median age ( Z= -3. 798, P=0. 000 ) . There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in gender ratio or constituent ratio of fracture peak age ( P > 0. 05 ) . The proportions of patients from 16 to 20 and from 31 to 40 years old in group A were significantly lower than in group B ( P <0. 05 ) . The proportion of middle-aged patients was significantly higher and that of young patients significantly lower in group A than in group B. The proportion of AO type 14-A fractures in group A ( 66. 49%) was significantly higher than in group B ( 55. 60%) while the proportion of AO type 14-C fractures was significantly lower ( 21. 37%) in group A than in group B ( 29. 55%) . Conclusions Most scapular fractures occurred in male patients. The proportion of young patients in the eastern area was lower than in the western area, but the proportion of middle-aged patients was higher in the eastern area than in the western area. The proportion of AO type 14-A fractures in the eastern area was significantly higher than in the western area while the proportion of AO type 14-C fractures in the eastern area significantly lower than in the western area.
