Abstract To promote the mental health of college students and build campus based psychological support system, the study explains that current applications of digital health interventions (DHIs) include independent forms based on a single technology or platform, as well as integrated forms that combine multiple digital technologies with traditional mental health services. These interventions have positive effects on alleviating negative emotions among college students, enhancing psychological resilience, improving quality of life, and ameliorating academic performance. However, differences still exist in the stability of intervention effects. Future development requires continuous improvement in institutional construction, ethical governance and capacity building.

BACKGROUND: It is inaccurate to reflect the level of dust exposure through working years. Furthermore, identifying a predictive indicator for lung function decline is significant for coal miners. The study aimed to explored whether club cell secretory protein (CC16) levels can reflect early lung function changes. METHODS: The cumulative respiratory dust exposure (CDE) levels of 1,461 coal miners were retrospectively assessed by constructed a job-exposure matrix to replace working years. Important factors affecting lung function and CC16 were selected by establishing random forest models. Subsequently, the potential of CC16 to reflect lung injury was explored from multiple perspectives. First, restricted cubic spline (RCS) models were used to compare the trends of changes in lung function indicators and plasma CC16 levels after dust exposure. Then mediating analysis was performed to investigate the role of CC16 in the association between dust exposure and lung function decline. Finally, the association between baseline CC16 levels and follow-up lung function was explored. RESULTS: The median CDE were 35.13 mg/m³-years. RCS models revealed a rapid decline in forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV₁), and their percentages of predicted values when CDE exceeded 25 mg/m³-years. The dust exposure level (<5 mg/m³-years) causing significant changes in CC16 was much lower than the level (25 mg/m³-years) that caused changes in lung function indicators. CC16 mediated 11.1% to 26.0% of dust-related lung function decline. Additionally, workers with low baseline CC16 levels experienced greater reductions in lung function in the future. CONCLUSIONS CC16 levels are more sensitive than lung indicators in reflecting early lung function injury and plays mediating role in lung function decline induced by dust exposure. Low baseline CC16 levels predict poor future lung function.

Bacterial biofilms can make traditional antibiotics impenetrable and even promote the development of antibiotic-resistant strains. Therefore, non-antibiotic strategies to effectively penetrate and eradicate the formed biofilms are urgently needed. Here, we demonstrate the development of self-propelled biohybrid microrobots that can enhance the degradation and penetration effects for Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms in minimally invasive strategy. The biohybrid microrobots (CR@Alg) are constructed by surface modification of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (CR) microalgae with alginate lyase (Alg) via biological orthogonal reaction. By degrading the biofilm components, the number of CR@Alg microrobots with fast-moving capability penetrating the biofilm increases by around 2.4-fold compared to that of microalgae. Massive reactive oxygen species are subsequently generated under laser irradiation due to the presence of chlorophyll, inherent photosensitizers of microalgae, thus triggering photodynamic therapy (PDT) to combat bacteria. Our algae-based microrobots with superior biocompatibility eliminate biofilm-infections efficiently and tend to suppress the inflammatory response in vivo, showing huge promise for the active treatment of biofilm-associated infections.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of smart wearable device in the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with glioma and its influence on postoperative recovery.Methods:Eighty patients with glioma who underwent surgical treatment at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University between January 2022 and September 2024 were selected,and they were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table,with 40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine follow-up and rehabilitation management after surgery.Patients in the observation group received smart wearable devices to monitor their postoperative recovery on the basis of the management for control group.The study evaluated the scores of the Cancer-Related Fatigue Scale(CFS),exercise amount(steps and activity time),sleep quality(total sleep time and sleep efficiency),and vital signs(heart rate and blood oxygen saturation)at the 1st week,1st month,and 3rd month after surgery for both groups.Results:At the 1st week after surgery,the differences of CFS scores,daily steps and activity time between two groups were not significant(P>0.05).At the 1st month and 3rd month after surgery,the CFS score of observation group was lower than that of control group,and the differences were significant(t=8.914,11.268,P<0.05).Additionally,the daily average steps of observation group were higher than that of control group,and the differences were significant(t=15.259,20.024,P<0.05).Furthermore,the activity time of observation group was significantly longer than that of control group,and the difference was significant(t=8.994,10.667,P<0.05).In the observation group,the heart rate and amplitude of blood oxygen fluctuation at the 1st month and 3rd month after surgery were less than them at the 1st week after surgery,and the recovery after surgery in patients was more stability,while the difference was not significant among them(P>0.05).Conclusion:Smart wearable device can effectively monitor the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with glioma,and help patients to improve fatigue,and increase physical activity,and enhance sleep quality,and stabilize vital signs by real-time feedback.

With the rapid development of competitive sports, the incidence of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury is on the rise. Such injuries may shorten athletes′ career and lead to other long-term adverse consequences. Although athletes generally recover well after ACL reconstruction, many still struggle to return to their pre-injury performance levels. Advances in the understanding of ACL anatomy and injury mechanisms, along with the evolution of surgical techniques and rehabilitation methods, have provided more individualized and tailored options for athletes following ACL injuries. However, there is currently no consensus in China regarding surgical and rehabilitation strategies for competitive athletes aiming to return to sports after ACL injuries. To this end, the Sports Medicine Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association and the Editorial Board of the Chinese Journal of Trauma jointly formulated the Expert consensus on surgical treatment and rehabilitation for competitive sports athletes returning to sports after anterior cruciate ligament injury ( version 2025), and presented 14 recommendations covering surgical indications, preoperative rehabilitation, surgical timing, surgical strategies and postoperative rehabilitation strategies, aiming to improve the surgical treatment and rehabilitation system for ACL injuries in competitive athletes and facilitate their return to high-level sports performance after injury.

Abstract Adolescent health literacy constitutes a fundamental, economical and effective strategy for addressing their health issues and fostering healthy behaviors, while assessing health literacy plays a pivotal role in evaluating adolescents health literacy. The study systematically reviews existing adolescent health literacy assessment tools at both domestically and internationally, and analyzes them through three dimensions:structural components, applicability and scientific validity. It further examines emerging trends in the development of such tools, aiming to offer theoretical underpinnings and practical recommendations for their refinement, thereby more effectively addressing the evolving health needs of adolescents.

Abstract To promote the development of sexuality education for Chinese adolescents, the study analyses Ireland s relationships and sexuality education (RSE) curriculum and concludes that it centers on student development in terms of curriculum philosophy and objectives, emphasizing its educational value. At the content level, it employs a staged teaching approach to achieve comprehensive coverage based on students physical and mental development characteristics. In terms of implementation, it adopts a spiral organization to ensure the scientific integrity of the curriculum. In addition, it utilizes diverse evaluation methods to strengthen the systematic nature of the curriculum. Based on these insights, China could collaborate with multiple stakeholders to advance the development of RSE, establish a scientific and systematic framework for RSE, and constructing a comprehensive implementation and teacher support system, thereby promoting the refinement and innovation of RSE programs.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of long non-coding RNA(Ln-cRNA)-prostate androgen regulated transcript 1(PART1),LncRNA-nucleolar ribonucleic acid host gene 14(SNHG14)and disease stage,cognitive impairment and motor function in patients with Parkinson's disease(PD).Methods A total of 100 PD patients(PD group)who admitted to the Department of Neurology in the hospital from January 2021 to December 2023 and 100 healthy subjects(control group)who underwent the physical examination during the same period of time were selected.According to Hoehn-Yahr staging,PD pa-tients were divided into early stage group(grade 1.0-2.5,20 cases),middle stage group(grade 3.0,48 ca-ses)and late stage group(grade 4.0-5.0,32 cases).According to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment(Mo-CA)score,the patients were divided into normal cognitive group(MoCA score≥26 points,33 cases),PD-mild cognitive impairment group(MoCA score 21-＜26 points,46 cases)and PD dementia group(MoCA score＜21 points,21 cases).According to the Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale(UPDRS)-Ⅲ score,the pa-tients were divided into mild dyskinesia group(0-15 points,29 cases),moderate dyskinesia group(＞15-40 points,46 cases)and severe dyskinesia group(＞40-56 points,25 cases).Real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR was used to detect serum LncRNA-PART1 and LncRNA-SNHG14 levels.Spearman method was used to analyze the correlation between serum LncRNA-PART1,LncRNA-SNHG14 levels and Hoehn-Yahr staging,MoCA score and UPDRS-Ⅲ score in PD patients.Results The level of serum LncRNA-PART1 in PD group was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05),and the level of LncRNA-SNHG14 was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).The serum levels of LncRNA-PART1 in the middle stage group and late stage groups were lower than those in the early stage group(P＜0.05),and the levels of LncRNA-SNHG14 were higher than those in the early stage group(P＜0.05).In addition,the serum level of LncRNA-PART1 in the late stage group was lower than that in the middle stage group(P＜0.05),and the level of LncRNA-SNHG14 was higher than that in the middle stage group(P＜0.05).The serum LncRNA-PART1 levels in the PD-mild cognitive impairment group and PD dementia group were lower than those in the normal cognitive group(P＜0.05),while the LncRNA-SNHG14 levels were higher than those in the normal cognitive group(P＜0.05).Additionally,the serum LncRNA-PART1 level in the PD dementia group was lower than that in the PD-mild cognitive impairment(P＜0.05),while the LncRNA-SNHG14 level was higher than that in the PD-mild cog-nitive impairment group(P＜0.05).The serum levels of LncRNA-PART1 in the moderate dyskinesia group and severe dyskinesia group were lower than those in the mild dyskinesia group(P＜0.05),and the levels ofLncRNA-SNHG14 were higher than that in the mild dyskinesia group(P＜0.05).In addition,the serum level of LncRNA-PART1 in the severe dyskinesia group was lower than that in the moderate dyskinesia group(P＜0.05),and the level of LncRNA-SNHG14 was higher than that in the moderate dyskinesia group(P＜0.05).Spearman method results showed that serum LncRNA-PART1 level was negatively correlated with Hoehn-Yahr staging and UPDRS-Ⅲ score in PD patients,and positively correlated with MoCA score(P＜0.05).The level of serum LncRNA-SNHG14 was positively correlated with Hoehn-Yahr staging and UPDRS-Ⅲ score in PD patients,and negatively correlated with MoCA score(P＜0.05).Conclusion The level of ser-um LncRNA-PART1 in PD patients is decreased,and the level of LncRNA-SNHG14 is increased,both of them are related to the disease stage,cognitive impairment and motor function of PD patients,which may be-come evaluation indicators for PD progression.

Background Exposure to polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) is associated with the development of metabolic syndrome (MS). However, the role of amino acids in PAH-induced MS remains unclear. Objective To explore the impact of PAHs exposure on the incidence of MS among coking workers, and to determine potential modifying effect of amino acid on this relationship. Methods Unmatched nested case-control design was adopted and the baseline surveys of coking workers were conducted in two plants in Taiyuan in 2017 and 2019, followed by a 4-year follow-up. The cohort comprised 667 coking workers. A total of 362 participants were included in the study, with 84 newly diagnosed cases of MS identified as the case group and 278 as the control group. Urinary levels of 11 PAH metabolites and plasma levels of 17 amino acids were measured by ultrasensitive performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS). Logistic regression was used to estimate the association between individual PAH metabolites and MS. Stratified by the median concentration of amino acids, Bayesian kernel machine regression (BKMR) model was employed to assess the mixed effects of PAHs on MS. Due to the skewed data distribution, all PAH metabolites and amino acids in the analysis were converted by natural logarithm ln (expressed as lnv). Results The median age of the 362 participants was 37 years, and 83.2% were male. Compared to the control group, the case group exhibited higher concentrations of urinary 2-hydroxyphenanthrene (2-OHPhe), 9-hydroxyphenanthrene (9-OHPhe), and hydroxyphenanthrene (OHPhe) (P=0.005, P=0.049, and P=0.004, respectively), as well as elevated levels of plasma branched chain amino acid (BCAA) and aromatic amino acid (AAA) (P<0.05). After being adjusted for confounding factors, for every unit increase in lnv_2-OHPhe in urine, the OR (95%CI) of MS was 1.57 (1.11, 2.26), and for every unit increase in lnv_OHPhe, the OR (95%CI) of MS was 1.82 (1.16, 2.90). Tyrosine, leucine, and AAA all presented a significant nonlinear correlation with MS. At low levels, tyrosine, leucine, and AAA did not significantly increase the risk of MS, but at high levels, they increased the risk of MS. In the low amino acid concentration group, as well as in the low BCAA and low AAA concentration groups, it was found that compared to the PAH metabolite levels at the 50th percentile (P₅₀), the log-odds of MS when the PAH metabolite levels was at the 75th percentile (P₇₅) were 0.158 (95%CI: 0.150, 0.166), 0.218 (95%CI: 0.209, 0.227), and 0.262 (95% CI: 0.241, 0.282), respectively, However, no correlation between PAHs and MS was found in the high amino acid concentration group. Conclusion Amino acids modify the effect of PAHs exposure on the incidence of MS. In individuals with low plasma amino acid levels, the risk of developing MS increases with higher concentrations of mixed PAH exposure. This effect is partly due to the low concentrations of BCAA and AAA.

Objective:To explore the predictive value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) combined with platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) in early stage of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) in children.Methods:A total of 136 children with SIRS (SIRS group) and 120 healthy children (control group) diagnosed and treated in the Eighth People′s Hospital of Hefei from January 2021 to February 2023 were retrospectively selected as the study objects. Inflammatory response indicators and peripheral blood NLR and PLR levels were compared between the two groups. Pearson test was used to analyze the correlation between NLR and PLR and other inflammatory response indicators in children with SIRS. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was used to analyze the predictive value of NLR and PLR alone and combined detection for SIRS.Results:The levels of serum procalcitonin (PCT), C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) in the SIRS group were higher than those in the control group: (1.56 ± 0.41) μg/L vs. (0.57 ± 0.15) μg/L, (56.04 ± 17.71) mg/L vs. (4.50 ± 1.38) mg/L, (8.54 ± 1.95) ng/L vs. (0.95 ± 0.21) ng/L, there were statistical differences ( P<0.05). The levels of NLR and PLR of peripheral blood in the SIRS group were higher than those in the control group: 4.08 ± 1.32 vs. 2.01 ± 0.58, 269.15 ± 80.09 vs. 194.01 ± 62.41, there were statistical differences ( P<0.05). The results of Pearson test showed that the levels of NLR and PLR of peripheral blood were positively correlated with the levels of serum PCT, CRP and IL-6 ( r = 0.245, 0.540, 0.492, 0.282, 0.365, 0.721, P<0.05). The ROC curve analysis results showed that the area under the curve of the combined NLR and PLR detection to predict SIRS was 0.747(95% CI 0.650 -0.828), which was higher than the single index. Conclusions:The levels of NLR and PLR of peripheral blood are related to the incidence of SIRS in children. The combined prediction of the two index can further improve the accuracy of early prediction.
