Objective To investigate the impact of phase Ⅱ cardiac rehabilitation on the rehabilitation needs and physical activity status of patients after coronary heart disease intervention. Methods A total of 90 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in the Coronary Heart Disease Center of the hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were subjected to a 12-week standardized phase Ⅱ cardiac rehabilitation training.General data survey forms, cardiac rehabilitation scales, and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire were used for scale surveys to understand the patients' needs before and after rehabilitation and their weekly physical activity en-ergy expenditure. The cardiopulmonary exercise test gold standard, which reflects exercise capacity through three indicators-maximum oxygen uptake(VO2 max),anaerobic threshold(AT),and metabolic equivalents(MET),were used to compare the physical activity status before and after cardiac rehabilitation. Results Compared with before the implementation, after the implementation of cardiac rehabilitation, the autonomy score in-creased(21.36±1.85 vs.16.73±3.28),the process anxiety(12.60±3.87 vs.14.27±2.12)and outcome anxiety scores(2.31±1.76 vs.4.56±3.56)decreased,the level of low-intensity physical activity decreased[(2 711.62±1 487.09)min/week vs.(3 845.97±2 083.71)min/week],the levels of moderate-intensity[(1 314.67±783.54)min/week vs.(686.22±126.79)min/week],high-intensity[(1 861.33±798.27)min/week vs.(112.00±40.77)min/week],and total physical activity increased[(5 887.62±2 843.54)min/week vs.(4 644.19±2 287.16)min/week].The levels of VO2 max[(28.11±14.28)mL·min-1·kg-1 vs.(23.82±12.34)mL·min-1·kg-1],AT[(16.06±5.41)mL·min-1·kg-1 vs.(13.53±4.56)mL·min-1·kg-1],and MET[(6.89±1.59)mL·min-1·kg-1 vs.(5.78±1.21)mL·min-1·kg-1]all in-creased,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Phase Ⅱ rehabilitation after PCI can effectively improve patients' physical activity levels.

Objective:To investigate the assoication of amino acid metabolism levels with severity of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 118 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were admitted to Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to April 2021. Patients were divided into groups according to the Toronto Clinical Scoring System(TCSS), and amino acid profiling was performed. General demographics and biochemical indicators of each group were collected to analyze the relationship between DPN severity and amino acid metabolism. Results:As TCSS scores increased, patients were older and had a longer duration of diabetes. Statistically significant differences in leucine, isoleucine, tryptophan, and phenylalanine levels were observed among the four groups. After adjusting for confounding variables using covariance analysis, when the TCSS score was≥13, the serum phenylalanine level was significantly elevated, and the difference was statistically significant( P<0.05). Multivariate linear regression analysis indicated that TCSS score was an influencing factor for phenylalanine levels( P=0.010). Multivariate logistic regression analysis demonstrated that higher serum phenylalanine levels correlated with higher TCSS scores( OR=1.047, 95% CI 1.011-1.083, P=0.010). Receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis revealed that serum phenylalanine and the difference between phenylalanine and tryptophan had diagnostic value for severe DPN patients, with areas under the ROC curve of 0.673(95% CI 0.553-0.793, P=0.006) and 0.746(95% CI 0.641-0.852, P<0.001) respectively. Conclusions:The levels of phenylalanine and tryptophan in the serum of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus are correlated with the severity of DPN. These findings suggest that serum phenylalanine, tryptophan, or their metabolic products may be involved in the pathogenesis and progression of DPN.

Currently,a wide range of oral antibacterial materials are clinically used, including metal element antibacterial materials(such as silver, zinc, copper, titanium),and non-metal element antibacterial materials(such as fluorine). In recent years, cerium ox-ide nanoparticles have attracted great interest in the field of oral medicine due to their unique antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,antioxi-dant,redox capabilities. At the same time, they also have the characteristics of promoting tissue regeneration, inhibiting biofilm forma-tion and good biocompatibility. To enhance the performance of oral materials, nanoparticles have been integrated into products such as composite resins, adhesives, and denture systems.Additionally, they have shown potential for modifying oral ceramic materials and an-ti-tumor effects. This review focuses on the latest research progress in various fields of oral medicine, including endodontics,periodon-tology,implantology,prosthodontics,and orthodontics, based on the biological characteristics of nano-cerium oxide. Our goal is to re-veal the potential of cerium oxide in the diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases and to provide ideas and references for the expansion of clinical applications in oral medicine.

Objective To investigate the effect of postoperative reduction quality in femoral neck fracture internal fixation on mechanical properties of the femoral head from the perspective of trabecular bone biomechanics. Methods From patients who underwent hip replacement surgery for femoral neck fractures,a total of 26 femoral head slice specimens were obtained. The central axis of the primary compressive trabeculae was defined as the 0° group, with the intersection point of the primary compressive trabeculae and the femoral calcar serving as the center.By rotating the specimens to simulate different reduction angles, the cut femoral head slice specimens were randomly divided into five groups:-10°,-5°,0°,5°,and 10°,representing femoral heads with varying reduction qualities. The specimens were subjected to single compression load tests and fatigue load tests. The load was set from 70 N to 1 400 N,at a frequency of 1 Hz,with 10 000 cycles.Axial stiffness, displacement, and the number of collapse cycles were measured,to compare the biomechanical properties of femoral head specimens under different reduction qualities. Results There were differences in the axial stiffness, displacement, and number of collapse cycles among the femoral head specimens in different groups.Under 800 N load, the axial stiffness of 0° group was significantly greater than that of±10° groups(P<0.05).The axial stiffness of 0° group was also greater than that of the±5° groups, but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The axial stiffness of±5° groups was greater than that of±10° groups(P<0.05).0° group had a lower displacement than±5° groups and±10° groups. However, the differences in displacement between 0° group and±5° groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),while the differences between the 0° group and±10° groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences in displacement between±5° groups and±10° groups were also statistically significant(P<0.05).0° group had a significantly higher number of collapse cycles than±10° groups(P<0.05).The number of collapse cycles in 0° group was also higher than that in±5° groups, but the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The number of collapse cycles in±5° groups was significantly higher than that±10° groups(P<0.05).Conclusions The quality of reduction after internal fixation of femoral neck fractures significantly affects the biomechanical properties of the femoral head. This study provides a scientific basis for optimizing treatment and postoperative management, aiming to improve clinical outcomes and patients' quality of life.
