Objective:To explore the gaze characteristics towards emotional portraits in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD),in order to reveal their potential unique patterns of emotional cognition. Methods:A case-control design was employed, including 81 children diagnosed with the DSM-5 ADHD and 57 normal control(NC)children.Emotional images from the Chinese Children's Emotional Image Library were used as stimuli. The Tobii Pro X3-120 eye-tracking device was utilized to record fixation count(FC)and fixation duration percentage(FDP)under a free-viewing paradigm.Mixed-effects ANOVA was applied to explore the effects of group, gaze region(eyes and mouth),and emotional attributes on gaze characteristics, controlling for gen-der and age. Results:The FC and FDP of ADHD children were lower than those of NC children, particularly in the eye region of non-negative emotional images(P<0.05).However,no significant differences were observed be-tween the two groups when viewing negative emotional images(sadness and anger)(P>0.05).NC children ex-hibited a significant emotional bias effect in their gaze behavior towards emotional portraits(P<0.05),whereas ADHD group showed only slight differences between non-negative emotional images(adjusted P<0.05),indica-ting a weaker overall emotional attention bias. Conclusion:Children with ADHD display reduced attention to non-negative emotional expressions and a diminished emotional attention bias, suggesting potential deficits in emotional processing during face perception.

Objective:To systematically synthesize qualitative studies on healthcare professionals' experiences and needs regarding telemedicine services for diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), and to provide scientific evidence for further improvement of DFU telemedicine service systems. Methods:PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, CINAHL, Scopus, Embase, ProQuest, PsycINFO, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Data, VIP, and China Biology Medicine disc were searched for qualitative studies on healthcare professionals' experiences and needs in the process of constructing and using DFU telemedicine service platforms. The time limit was from the inception of the databases to December 2024. The included literature was appraised according to the 2016 Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) critical appraisal checklist for qualitative research, and the results were integrated and summarized using meta-aggregation.Results:A total of 10 studies were included, from which 30 findings were extracted, forming 11 categories, and were synthesized into four integrated findings: healthcare professionals held divergent attitudes toward DFU telemedicine services, perceived multiple benefits, faced many challenges, and had multidimensional needs. Conclusions:Telemedicine services have provided healthcare professionals with great convenience in managing DFU patients, but challenges still exist. In the future, relevant platforms and systems should be continuously improved by integrating the needs of healthcare professionals and patients, while service processes and management mechanisms should be enhanced to improve the quality of telemedicine services.

Food-derived bioactive peptides (FBPs), particularly those with ten or fewer amino acid residues and a molecular weight below 1300 Da, have gained increasing attention for their safe, diverse structures and specific biological activities. The development of FBP-based functional foods and potential medications depends on understanding their structure‒activity relationships (SARs), stability, and bioavailability properties. In this review, we provide an in-depth overview of the roles of FBPs in treating various diseases, including Alzheimer's disease, hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, liver diseases, and inflammatory bowel diseases, based on the literature from July 2017 to Mar. 2023. Subsequently, attention is directed toward elucidating the associations between the bioactivities and structural characteristics (e.g., molecular weight and the presence of specific amino acids within sequences and compositions) of FBPs. We also discuss in silico approaches for FBP screening and their limitations. Finally, we summarize recent advancements in formulation techniques to improve the bioavailability of FBPs in the food industry, thereby contributing to healthcare applications.

Objective To investigate the application effect of comprehensive nursing care for severe hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) complicated with encephalitis. Methods A total of 70 children cases with severe HFMD complicated with encephalitis induced by enterovirus 71 infection admitted in our hospital from May 2012 to August 2013 were di-vided into observation group 35 cases and control group 35 cases. The control group was given symptomatic care, the observation group was given comprehensive nursing intervention. The fever and herpes subsided time, fatigue and limb shaking disappearance time, the average length of stay in hospital and the rate of complications were compared between two groups. Results The fever and herpes subsided time, fatigue and limb shaking disappearance time, the average hos-pitalization time in the observation group were shorter than the control group statistically (P<0.05 or P<0.01), hospital-ization time of the observation group was significantly shorter than the control group(P<0.01). The occurrence of compli-cations in the observation group were reduced in the observation group compared to the control group (P<0.01). Conclu-sion Comprehensive nursing intervention in children cases with severe type of HFMD complicated with encephalitis, combined with regular treatment, can reduce the incidence of complications and promote disease recovery.
