Objective:
To investigate the situation and influencing factors of school bullying experienced by primary and middle school students, so as to provide the basis for formulating school bullying intervention measures and promoting students' physical and mental health development.
Methods:
All the counties (cities, districts) in Zhejiang Province were stratified to urban and suburban areas, primary, junior high and senior high school students were selected using a stratified cluster sampling method. Basic information, lifestyle and school bullying were collected through questionnaire surveys. Factors affecting school bullying experienced by primary and middle school students were analyzed using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
Totally 137 846 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 97.17%. There were 72 526 males (52.61%) and 65 320 females (47.39%). There were 47 561 primary school students (34.50%), 47 701 junior high school students (34.61%) and 42 584 senior high school students (30.89%). A total of 3 987 students suffered from school bullying, accounting for 2.89%. The proportions of being maliciously teased, being intentionally excluded from group activities/isolated, being teased about physical defects or appearance, being hit/kicked/pushed/shoved/locked in a room, being threatened, and being extorted for money were 2.04%, 1.18%, 1.11%, 0.86%, 0.84% and 0.83%, respectively. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that the students who were males (OR=1.122, 95%CI: 1.048-1.202), lived in suburban areas (OR=1.322, 95%CI: 1.233-1.418), lived in areas with medium (OR=1.086, 95%CI: 1.006-1.173) or underdeveloped (OR=1.298, 95%CI: 1.191-1.415) economic level, had higher academic levels (junior high school, OR=1.380, 95%CI: 1.270-1.499; senior high school, OR=1.210, 95%CI: 1.083-1.351), lived on campus (OR=1.489, 95%CI: 1.372-1.616), engaged in fights (OR=6.029, 95%CI: 5.585-6.509), attempted to smoke (OR=1.320, 95%CI: 1.128-1.545), drank (OR=1.735, 95%CI: 1.575-1.912), were scolded and beaten by parents (OR=1.972, 95%CI: 1.822-2.135) and were obese (OR=1.240, 95%CI: 1.132-1.360) were more likely to experience school bullying.
Conclusion
The harm of school bullying to the physical and mental health of primary and middle school students should be taken seriously, and active policy measures should be adopted to strengthen intervention.

Objective:To explore the effects of the transtheoretical model (TTM) -based intervention in patients undergoing coronary angiography (CAG) .Methods:Totally 146 patients who were scheduled to undergo CAG at Fuwai Central China Cardiovascular Hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were selected by convenience sampling. Patients admitted from May to November 2021 were assigned to the control group ( n=73), and those admitted from December 2021 to May 2022 were assigned to the observation group ( n=73). The control group received routine care, while the observation group received TTM-based intervention. The effects of the intervention were evaluated using the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), and a self-designed CAG compliance assessment form. Results:After the intervention, SAS and SDS scores decreased in both groups, with the observation group scoring significantly lower than the control group ( P< 0.05). The CAG compliance in the observation group was also significantly higher than that in the control group ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The TTM-based intervention can improve the psychological state of CAG patients and enhance their compliance with CAG procedures.

Biliary fibrosis (BF) is the result of pathological repair of bile tract injury, characterized by thickening and sclerosis of the bile duct wall and progressive stricture of the lumen, which may ultimately lead to serious adverse outcomes such as biliary obstruction, biliary cirrhosis, liver failure, and hepatobiliary malignancies. Current research describes BF as a pathological feature of certain bile tract diseases, lacking a systematic summary of its etiology, pathophysiology, molecular mechanisms, and treatment. BF is a common but easily neglected disease state in biliary system, which may promote the development and progression of hepatobiliary diseases through abnormal repair mechanism after pathological biliary tract injury. Based on the latest research progress from both domestic and international perspectives, the authors review the concept, clinical manifestation, etiology, pathogenesis, and therapeutic strategies of BF to provide a reference for clinical physicians.

Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2024;40(6):1147-1152
AIM:This study employs Brainbow 2.1 mice to trace myocardial cell lineage and investigates the optimal dose of tamoxifen for labeling proliferating myocardial cells.METHODS:Four-week-old Brainbowfl/+;Myh6-Mer-CreMer+mice were administered tamoxifen at three different doses(3,9 and 27 mg/kg)via intraperitoneal injection to in-duce Cre recombinase expression and label myocardial cells with specific colors.Four weeks later, the samples were stained, and the number of myocardial cells labeled with varying doses of tamoxifen was quantified under confocal micro-scope.This quantification included the proportion of individually labeled cells, adjacent clusters of two cells, and clusters of three or more cells. An appropriate dose(9 mg/kg)of tamoxifen for labeling Brainbow mice was selected to compare myocardial cell proliferation between sham and myocardial infarction(MI)model groups.RESULTS:(1)After 9 mg/kg tamoxifen injection, the proportion of individually labeled cells was 99.13%±0.03%,that of adjacent 2-cell clusters was 0.82%±0.09%,and that of≥3-cell clusters was 0.05%±0.01%.The 3 mg/kg group had fewer total labeled cells, while the 27 mg/kg group showed significant clonal expansion and enrichment.(2)After labeling myocardial cells with 9 mg/kg tamoxifen, the MI mice showed increased proportions of 2-cell and≥3-cell clusters compared with sham group(P<0.01),indicating an increase in myocardial cell proliferation after MI.CONCLUSION:The proportion of adjacent myocardial cell clusters labeled with 9 mg/kg tamoxifen more closely approximates the physiological myocardial cell proliferation rate, indicating 9 mg/kg as the most suitable tamoxifen dose for tracing myocardial cell proliferation.

This study aims to investigate the effect of salvianolic acid B (Sal B), the active ingredient of Salvia miltiorrhiza, on H9C2 cardiomyocytes injured by oxygen and glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R) through regulating mitochondrial fission and fusion. The process of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury was simulated by establishing OGD/R model. The cell proliferation and cytotoxicity detection kit (cell counting kit-8, CCK-8) was used to detect cell viability; the kit method was used to detect intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS), total glutathione (t-GSH), nitric oxide (NO) content, protein expression levels of mitochondrial fission and fusion, apoptosis-related detection by Western blot. Mitochondrial permeability transition pore (MPTP) detection kit and Hoechst 33342 fluorescence was used to observe the opening level of MPTP, and molecular docking technology was used to determine the molecular target of Sal B. The results showed that relative to control group, OGD/R injury reduced cell viability, increased the content of ROS, decreased the content of t-GSH and NO. Furthermore, OGD/R injury increased the protein expression levels of dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1), mitofusions 2 (Mfn2), Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax) and cysteinyl aspartate specific proteinase 3 (caspase 3), and decreased the protein expression levels of Mfn1, increased MPTP opening level. Compared with the OGD/R group, it was observed that Sal B had a protective effect at concentrations ranging from 6.25 to 100 μmol·L-1. Sal B decreased the content of ROS, increased the content of t-GSH and NO, and Western blot showed that Sal B decreased the protein expression levels of Drp1, Mfn2, Bax and caspase 3, increased the protein expression level of Mfn1, and decreased the opening level of MPTP. In summary, Sal B may inhibit the opening of MPTP, reduce cell apoptosis and reduce OGD/R damage in H9C2 cells by regulating the balance of oxidation and anti-oxidation, mitochondrial fission and fusion, thereby providing a scientific basis for the use of Sal B in the treatment of myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury.
