Objective:To explore the prognostic value of baseline 18F-FDG PET/CT metabolic parameters in locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) after concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT). Methods:From September 2015 to October 2021, the clinical data of 180 LACC patients (age: 22-76 years) who underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT before CCRT at Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Shandong First Medical University were analyzed retrospectively. The metabolic tumor volume (MTV), total lesion glycolysis (TLG), SUV max, and SUV mean were computed by using the margin threshold of 42%SUV max. The optimal threshold for predicting progression-free survival (PFS) was obtained by ROC curve analysis. The Kaplan-Meier method was applied for survival analysis, and the log-rank test was applied to compare the survival rate between groups. Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression was used to analyze progression for PFS. Results:The median follow-up was 19.1 months, and 54 patients (30.0%, 54/180) suffered from disease progression. ROC curve analysis showed that the optimal cut-off value of MTV was 31.145 ml, with the AUC of 0.641. Para-aortic lymph node (PALN) metastasis had the highest AUC value (0.589) among the clinical factors, followed by International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage (0.581). The 1-year PFS rates of patients with MTV<31.145 ml ( n=88) and MTV≥31.145 ml ( n=92) were 80.68% and 59.78%, respectively ( χ2=13.72, P<0.001). Multivariate Cox analysis demonstrated that pathological type (hazard ratio ( HR)=3.075, 95% CI: 1.370-6.901, P=0.006), FIGO stage ( HR=1.955, 95% CI: 1.031-3.707, P=0.040), PALN metastasis ( HR=2.136, 95% CI: 1.202-3.796, P=0.010) and MTV ( HR=2.449, 95% CI: 1.341-4.471, P=0.004) were the significant predictors for PFS. Conclusions:Pathological type, FIGO stage, PALN metastasis and MTV are independent prognostic risk factors for PFS. MTV as the baseline 18F-FDG PET/CT metabolic parameter, can realize prognostic stratification analysis.

Objective:To construct machine learning models based on CT imaging and clinical parameters for predicting progression-free survival (PFS) of locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC) patients after concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT).Methods:Clinical data of 167 LACC patients treated with CCRT at Shandong Cancer Hospital from September 2015 to October 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were randomly divided into the training and validation cohorts according to the ratio of 7 vs. 3. Clinical features were selected by univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards model ( P<0.1). Radiomics models and nomograms were constructed by radiomics features which were selected by least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) Cox regression model to predict the 1-, 3- and 5-year PFS. Combined models and nomogram models were developed by selected clinical and radiomics features. The Kaplan Meier-curve, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, C-index and calibration curve were used to evaluate the model performance. Results:A total of 1 409 radiomics features were extracted based on the region of interest (ROI) in CT images. CT radiomics models showed better performance for predicting 1-, 3-and 5-year PFS than the clinical model in the training and validation cohorts. The combined model displayed the optimal performance in predicting 1-, 3-and 5-year PFS in the training cohort [area under the curve (AUC): 0.760, 0.648, 0.661, C-index: 0.740, 0.667, 0.709] and verification cohort (AUC: 0.763, 0.677, 0.648, C-index: 0.748, 0.668, 0.678).Conclusions:Combined model constructed based on CT radiomics and clinical features yield better prediction performance than that based on radiomics or clinical features alone. As an objective image analysis approach, it possesses high prediction efficiency for PFS of LACC patients after CCRT, which can provide reference for clinical decision-making.

Primary lung cancer is the first malignant tumor in our country and in the world with an increasing mortality trend, which seriously endangers the human health. By digging the deep relationship between high-dimensional imaging features and pathophysiological features, radiomics can establish a predictive model to distinguish pathological types, tumor stages, distant metastases and survival, guide individualized diagnosis and treatment strategies, and improve prognosis. PET/CT has higher diagnostic accuracy and specificity by reflecting tumor tissue metabolism. This article reviews the application of PET/CT radiomics in the treatment of non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Objective:To investigate the status quo of professional identity of nursing undergraduates in Beijing and analyze its influencing factors and to provide basis for carrying out professional identity education of nursing undergraduates.Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, a total of 726 nursing undergraduates from four undergraduate colleges in Beijing from June to September 2020 were selected as research objects. General information questionnaire, Professional Identity Questionnaire for Nurse Students (PIQNS) and Professional Self-efficacy Questionnaire for Nurse Students (PSQNS) were used to investigate them. A total of 726 questionnaires were distributed and 615 valid questionnaires were recovered.Results:The total scores of PIQNS and PSQNS among 615 nursing undergraduates in Beijing were respectively 55.00 (36.00, 66.00) and 86.00 (60.00, 101.00) . There was a positive correlation between PIQNS total score and PSQNS total score of nursing undergraduates ( r=0.928, P<0.01) . The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, whether there was a class tenure, whether he was an only child, reasons for attending nursing major and whether he had clinical practice or internship experience were the influencing factors of professional identity of nursing undergraduates in Beijing ( P<0.01) , which could explain 17.6% of the total variation. Conclusions:The professional identity of nursing undergraduates in Beijing is at the medium level and still needs to be improved. Nursing educators should pay attention to the emotional and psychological status of nursing undergraduates and take appropriate measures to provide vocational education for nursing undergraduates, so as to further improve their professional identity.

Objective To analyze the precipitating factors for,clinical manifestations of,laboratory findings in and therapeutic effect on acute urticaria.Methods Clinical data were collected from 185 inpatients with acute urticaria in Shanxi Dayi Hospital from January 2013 to December 2016.Clinical features,laboratory examination results,treatment,prognosis and adverse reactions were analyzed retrospectively.Statistical analysis was carried out by chi-square test.Results There were 63 male patients and 122 female patients in this study,with an average age at onset of 32.87 ± 14.18 years.Of the 185 patients,78 (42.2％) were able to report the aetiological agents accurately,33 (17.8％) were induced by infection or drug therapy following infection,and 82 (44.3％) had fever.Blood cell analysis showed increased white blood cell count in 132 (71.4％) cases and increased proportion of neutrophils in 128 (69.2％) cases.The level of C reactive protein increased in 118 (69％) of 171 cases.A total of 185 patients received routine anti-anaphylactic treatment.Of 183 cured patients,153 (83.6％) were treated with antibiotics,26(14.2％)with antibiotics alone,and 24(13.1％) with azithromycin.There were 127 (69.4％) patients receiving combined treatment with glucocorticoids,antibiotics,and so on,and the antibiotic used in 111 (60.7％) cases was azithromycin.Of 88 cured patients with simultaneous signs of infection,85 (96.6％) showed increased levels of part or all of infection markers (including the white blood cell count,proportion of neutrophils and level of C reactive protein),and 69 (78.4％) were treated with azithromycin.Of 95 cured patients without signs of infection,83 (87.4％) showed increased levels of infection markers,and 61 (64.2％) were treated with azithromycin.Moreover,there were significant differences in the proportion of patients with increased levels of infection markers and that of patients treated with azithromycin between the cured patients with and without signs of infection (x2 =5.164,4.476,both P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Infection is a common cause of acute urticaria,and laboratory examinations including white blood cell count,proportion of neutrophils and level of C reactive protein are of important reference value to the diagnosis of infection in patients with acute urticaria.Patients with signs of infection or increased levels of infection markers need to be treated with combined anti-infective therapy,and in the cured patients,the proportion of patients administrating azithromycin was higher than that of those administrating other antibiotics for the treatment of acute infectious urticaria.

Objective To define the effect of hypothyroidism on oxidative stress,p38 and c-Jun N-terminal kinases (JNK) mRNA expression in testicular mitochondria of male rats,and to explore the mechanism of hypothyroidism on reproduction.Methods According to body weight (240-270 g),30 male Wistar rats were divided into control group (C group,1 ml/kg normal saline by intragastric administration),low-dose group (L group,0.1 mg/kg propylthiouracil 1 ml/kg by intragastric administration) and high-dose group (H group,10.0 mg/kg propylthiouracil 1 ml/kg by intragastric administration),10 rats in each group,body mass was weighed once every 3 days.After 60 days,all rats were killed.The levels of thyroid hormones [total triiodothyronine (TT3),total thyroxine (TT4),and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH)] were measured by radioimmunoassay.The activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) in the testicular mitochondria were determined with spectrophotometric assay.The mRNA expression levels of p38 and JNK in testicular mitochondria were detected by real-time quantitative PCR.Results The weights of H group in 30 and 60 days [(265.73 ± 5.10),(253.72 ± 5.09) g] were significantly decreased in comparison with those of C group [(344.62 ± 4.69),(395.33 ± 8.36) g] and L group [(333.66 ± 3.53),(386.08 ± 7.70) g,P ＜0.05].While,testis organ coefficient of H group [(1.20 ± 0.05) g/100 g] were significantly increased compared with those of L group [(0.93 ± 0.03) g/100 g] and C group [(0.88 ± 0.03) g/100 g,P ＜ 0.05].The serum levels of TT3 [(0.39 ± 0.01) nmol/L] and TT4 [(15.47 ± 1.21) nmol/L] in H group were found to be significantly decreased compared with those of C group [(0.86 ± 0.07),(45.56 ± 1.52) nmol/L] and L group [(0.79 ± 0.06),(39.02 ± 1.33) nmol/L,P ＜ 0.05];whereas the level of TSH [(0.65 ± 0.09) mU/L)] was increased in comparison with those of the C group [(0.18 ± 0.06) mU/L] and L group [(0.27 ± 0.05) mU/L,P ＜ 0.05].In addition,the level of SOD in H group [(60.37 ± 3.14) U/mg prot] was decreased compared with that of C group [(75.18 ± 6.13) U/mg prot,P ＜ 0.05];the level of CAT in H group [(1.46 ± 0.25) U/mg prot] and L group [(1.67 ± 0.39) U/mg prot] decreased significantly compared with that of C group [(3.79 ± 0.44) U/mg prot,P ＜ 0.05].And compared with C (1.000 0 ± 0.000 0) and L (1.114 2 ± 0.124 1) groups,p38 mRNA expression in H group (1.387 4 ± 0.122 0) was significantly increased (P ＜ 0.05).However,there was no significant change in JNK mRNA expression between groups (F =0.95,P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Hypothyroidism may induce oxidative stress of testicular mitochondria leading to the change of p38 cell signal path and then damage the reproductive system in male rats.

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of trimebutine combined with Xiangsha Pingwei in the treatment of functional dyspepsia and its effect on gastrointestinal hormone.Methods One hundred and twenty cases of functional dyspepsia were randomly divided into the control group and observation group,60 cases in each group.The control group was treated with trimebutine 0.2 g,3 times/d and the observation group was treated with trimebutine 0.2 g,3 times/d and Xiangsha Pingwei 10 g,2 times/d.Both groups were treated for four weeks,a course of treatment.Clinical efficacy and the influence on gastrointestinal hormone levels were compared between the two groups.Results The symptoms scores in both groups all decreased significantly after treatment.While the postprandial fullness scores,early satiety scores and epigastric pain scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (0.62±0.12 vs.1.85±0.25,0.56±0.14 vs.1.46±0.21,0.48±0.15 vs.1.32±0.12,t=34.36,27.62,33.87,P<0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (90.00% vs.73.33%,χ2=5.57,P<0.05).MOT and GAS levels in both groups increased significantly.While MOT and GAS levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (MOT: (355.2±78.1) ng/L vs.(288.7±82.4) ng/L;GAS:(96.5±17.6) ng/L vs.(88.4±16.0) ng/L,t=4.54,2.64,P<0.05).The somatostatin (SS) level in both groups decreased significantly.While the SS level in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ((41.1±11.1) ng/L vs.(48.9±12.9) ng/L,t=3.55,P<0.05).Conclusion Trimebutine combined with Xiangsha Pingwei can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and gastrointestinal hormone in patients with functional dyspepsia.

Aim To explore the effects of mangiferin on tissue factor(TF) expression in human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) and the underlying mechanisms.Methods HUVECs were isolated and primarily cultured in vitro.After the treatment with mangiferin and oxidized low density lipoprotein(oxLDL), TF expression was determined in HUVECs with real-time PCR and Western blot.Results oxLDLinduced the mRNA and protein expression and pro-thrombotic activity of TF in HUVECs.However, the inductive effects of oxLDL were blocked significantly by mangiferin.Furthermore, mangiferin modified TF expression and activity in a dose-dependent manner.Mangiferin was demonstrated to enhance the activity of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma(PPARγ).In contrast, GW9662, an antagonist of PPARγ, reversed at least partially the suppressive effects of mangiferin on TF.Conclusion Through activating PPARγ, mangiferin suppresses the expression of TF serving pro-thrombotic functions in endothelial cells.

Objective To investigate the effect of 0.45 ％ saline for airway humidification in patients with craniocerebral injury after tracheotomy.Methods A total of 58 patients with craniocerebral injury after tracheotomy treated in our department were as observation group,given 0.45％ saline for airway humidification.And 40 craniocerebral injury patients after tracheotomy at the same time were as control group,given sterilized saline for airway humidification.The effect of airway humidification,the rate of sputum scab formation,and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The pH of sputum after 3,5 d of tracheotomy in the observation group was lower (P ＜ 0.05),but the effect of airway humidification and the rate of sputum scab formation in the two groups showed no statistically significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The incidence of pulmonary infection,irritating cough and respiratory mucosal bleeding in the observation group were lower than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The 0.45％ saline solution for airway humidification is in accordance with the physiological needs of the patients,and has better wetting effect and lower incidence of adverse events.
